LCG: Another Outstanding Gospel Outreach In Tampa/St Pete FL Area

One thing is for sure when the Living Church of God does something, they do it big! They hit up the Tampa FL area for one of their latest World Tomorrow presentations. Tampa is part of the three-city metropolitan area of Florida that encompasses, Tampa, St Petersburg, and Clearwater with a population of 2.8 million people. Clearwater is the home base to the Scientology cult, fertile ground to get that gospel message to.

In the latest member update for November 24, 2021, Gerald Weston is proud of the fact that out of 2.8 million people he was able to gather 55 attendees (many of who were LCG members), and then after two follow up appearances, they were able to end up attracting 6 returnees to their lectures.

6 out of 2.8 million people.

Truly astounding!

The gospel goes forth with POWER!!!

Tomorrow’s World Presentation Series in Tampa, Florida

In the last several weeks, our ministers have conducted Tomorrow’s World Presentations in Tampa, Florida. After Mr. Weston’s main presentation (55 guests), two follow-up presentations have been given: one by Mr. James Sweat on November 13 with ten returning guests and the second by Dr. Wilner Pierre on November 20 with 6 returning guests. While follow-up presentations do not produce as high attendance as the initial presentation, they do indicate those who may have a deeper interest in pursuing the Truth and getting more involved in the Work

Nice spin job there Gerald!

Mr. Sweat reported: “This week’s presentation from Dr. Pierre, ‘Man’s Holidays or God’s Holy Days—Does it Matter?’ was attended by six repeat guests. At least three of them have requested o attend Sabbath services next week. We take a break for the Thanksgiving weekend and resume this series of follow-up TWPs with Mr. Richard Thomas on December 4 with ‘The Commandments Before Sinai,’ and I will finish out the series on December 11 with ‘What Is the Kingdom of God?’ We are very encouraged by the response. As one individual noted, ‘I don’t know of another COG doing the Work in this way!’”

This one individual is obviously a disenchanted COG member from another group. Nice spin job there too!

I wonder if they ever do a presentation solely on Jesus? Do they even mention his name? The Jesus of scripture and not the one that the COG's have dreamed up.

Its Thanksgiving And Whiny Prophet Is Ticked Off Again About Football And Gluttony

It is Thanksgiving here in America where people celebrate the freedoms that allow them access to so much they can be thankful for.

Sadly, for some pretend COG leaders and self-appointed spokesmen, this day is not one that should be celebrated and if you do, you must REFUSE to participate in the Satanic observance of turning on your television and watching Satan's minions play football while being cheered on by scantly clad cheerleaders who are leading the men of God astray.

Where would we be without these hypocritical loudmouths with their endless spiel of pharisaical diarrhea?

Today, God's most highly chosen man from the entire history of Christianity is once more getting his homeopathic knickers in a knot. His very first paragraph is one whiny little bitch-fest of negativity:

Today is the national holiday in the USA called Thanksgiving. And despite certain claims, its specific origins are not pagan. But, of course, no Christian needs to celebrate national holidays like it if they do not wish to (cf. Romans 14). And the Bible does condemn gluttony. And with COVID-9 this year, government officials have warned about family gatherings.

I have never seen God's most amazing prophet ever decry the gluttony of members at the Feast of Tabernacles, at church picnics, or at the annual COG Christmas Party Weekends. Like many in the COG those are times of a foretaste of the kingdom to come and members should enjoy themselves to their best ability.

One thing that I have noticed on the day called Thanksgiving by those in the USA, is when I have been at many other places than the home I lived in, American football has been playing on television.

For many, other than food and family, football is a major focus of the Thanksgiving holiday for many in the USA.

The heavenly realm is weeping at this very thought right now!

The Chosen One then goes on to quote President Obama and others about their concerns over tackle football and then whines that real Christians should not be endorsing it.

He even goes on to quote that other authority on everything, Herbert Armstrong.

....the late Herbert W. Armstrong wrote:

Hostility toward the other is sin…

Football (American football) is a violent body-contact sport. It is often played with an attitude of hostility and is dangerous and is fraught with physical injury. (Plain Truth, July-August 1984)
Wherever a game in sports involves ANTAGONISTS–in HOSTILE ATTITUDE to harm the other and/or to “GET” from the other–to get the best of the other–then a harmful, Satanic and evil attitude enters in, and the sport is EVIL, not good…football,

(American football)…because football is such a violent body contact sport, it TOO OFTEN is played in an ATTITUDE OF HOSTILITY, and is too DANGEROUS and fraught with PHYSICAL INJURY . Therefore it must be BANNED so far as participation by God’s Church or people is concerned…This is sufficient to illustrate the application of the PRINCIPLE of God’s Law to sports. That participated in with an attitude of HOSTILITY toward the opponent is evil. That which HARMS mentally or physically an opponent is evil.

Satan is the author of COMPETITION based on hostility, harm to the opponent, GETTING by taking FROM an opponent–to his harm or loss. God’s way is LOVE TOWARD neighbor equal to love of self. (Armstrong HW. Not all sports are banned. Pastor General’s Report, Volume 2, Issue 36, September 5, 1980)

And yet, Herbert watched American football, soccer, "professional" wrestling, and the Lakers basketball games, all of which are filled with attitudes of hostility and vile satanic COMPETITION which TAKES from the opponent. The hypocrisy of COG leaders is appalling but never shocking.

The so-called doubly-blessed apostate then ends with this as he accuses all who watch football of being Laodicean.

...many (including Laodicean Christians) are too selfish to stop watching and encouraging the playing of American tackle football.

Christians should give God thanks, but not encourage violence in sports like American tackle football.

Everything in this world is Laodicean to these pathetic whiny little men leading Churches of God today.  "Laodicean" is the favorite perjorative of COG leaders, falsely so-called.

COG members were given brains so they could make their own decisions WITHOUT any of the spiritually bankrupt diarrhea that currently flows from the self-appointed leaders of COGdom today.

So give thanks for your blessings, enjoy your family and friends, enjoy good food and enjoy a game of football on television or in person. God isn't going to turn his back on you if you do, even if these whiny men say otherwise.

PCG On Things to Be Thankful For

One thing can be said about Armstrongism, it has no depth of meaning but plenty of shallowness. The focus is entirely upon the human leaders and the things they produce. While Jesus is mentioned, anything related to his "sacrifice" they are thankful for is ignored because they have never been taught anything about what Jesus accomplished.

EDMOND—As more than 330 million Americans prepare to celebrate the national holiday of Thanksgiving Day, Philadelphia Church of God members can reflect over the past year and thank God for the blessings He has provided. Big Bad Meanie Pentecostals Persecuting Bob Thiel's African Cult.

Bob Thiel's cult facing more persecution in Africa. The Pentecostals are publicly disproving his teachings and he doesn't like that!

The failed prophet writes:

CCOG deacon Ondigo Ochieng sent the following pictures and long report about our radio program in the Kenay/Tanzania area:

Amid barricades that Satan lay on our paths as we do God’s Work, We have seen God’s Mighty hand in supporting His Work!

SUNDAY 24TH, OCTOBER 2021

DISCOURSE: WERE THE PHARISEES CONDEMNED FOR KEEPING THE LAW?

This discourse emerged to answer the questions of some Pentecostals who are really against our messages on radio. They, together with their organization called Kehancha Pentecostal One Accord (KEPOA), raised complains when I taught about three days and three nights. Some were sending negative  messages that w
e are like Pharisees who only peg their beliefs on obeying the ten commandments especially the Sabbath.

They are like the Pharisees! Thats' a fact. Theilism is based entirely upon the words of the self-appointed, self-anointed Prophet Bob and not on being a follower of Jesus.

The discourse attracted 17 calls and 5 sms. It was so good because many were able to appreciate that they could be able to understand the scope of the Pharisees view on the ten commandments. They realized that most of the people have the attitude of the Pharisees by not keeping God’s Royal Law of liberty. I was given an extra 20 minutes to answer questions. I also directed listeners to the CCOG website. I used the article that Dr.Thiel wrote concerning the above discourse.

The Pharisees, like the Thielites are not able to understand anything because they don't follow that inconvenient dude who gets in their way all the time. Jesus is constantly knocking at their door and they slam the 10 Commandments and the law in his face.

The other issue his "decon" has is that he uses the writings of the self-appointed failed prophet Bob Thiel as if it was factual and truthful biblical interpretation. It's not.

Is this a vendetta site?

A reader wrote:

You have to understand, this site is a vendetta site by people who love gossip, rumor mongering, and running down other people. That way they never have to look at their own lacks.

Further, it seems it is impossible for them to apply the same anti-others against themselves. Plus, it is totally impossible for them to offer better alternatives. They have none.

In addition to that they are incapable of seeing the millions of killings, rapes, mobs, liars, etc. etc. done around them by christians and non-christians of all stripes. Why? They have a vendetta against the only individuals and group that tells them they are sinners, misfits, and other such sins.

Try to get the main writers here to publish uplifting, informative, inspiring posts here at least five in a row, and see how far you get.

People love gossip, especially if it is bad, and could care less about goodness, facts, truth, love, joy, peace, long suffering, meekness, temperance, gentleness, and more such uplifting topics.

If more folks who visit here having good news to give, would post, this could become one of the best sites on the internet.

Or, if y’all want to continue filling the mind with garbage, have at it. It’s actually fun to watch the struggle to see who can come up with the worst sounding put down.

On the other hand, there are some huge successes that came from the wcg.

Why even some of those who “became” atheists after AC have made a good living peddling their works. Who says the college and WCG was all bad?

Think positive for a change and see how much better one feels. Why, like W. Clement Stone taught his salesmen to say out loud many times daily: I FEEL HEALTHY, HAPPY, AND TERRIFIC!

Try it, you won’t just like it, in a few days you will start to LOVE it, and start experiencing more JOY.

So, who here has the courage to step up and be first to post a little joy here. Can’t wait to see the deluge of positivity coming our way!!!

Dave Pack: This Is My Last Message...Man of Sin Returning On Or Before Christmas. Third Time Is The Charm!

From an RCG source regarding sermon 336.

(~25:20) - “Remember my [Dave Packs] task at the end is to remove mystery, to remove things that are cloudy. And we're going to see more of that in a minute, in a way we never have and the whole 336 sermons.”

If this was Dave’s task at the end, he has utterly failed. The muddy, confusing, self-aggrandizing multi-year prophetically failed series is the reason he is on sermon 336. Since all other previous parts are invalid by his own admission, it seems he is working against his stated purpose.

(~10:30) - “There are an awful lot of verses. We looked at one year ago and two years ago, but weren't quite sure how to read and they said they had a lot to say about, God says, "I'm going to destroy all your holidays." And we wonder what is that? Would God allow the man of sin to come and keep Christmas or bring Christmas back to the world after the kingdom of God had come? Would He even want men to keep Thanksgiving/ Those are just interesting questions. I can't give you an exact answer, but, five verses at least point pretty strongly that the man of sin is here somewhere around or before Christmas. He may be dead by Christmas or may arrive on Christmas, but there would have been nothing about Christmas that was allowed to be kept.

In the Kingdom worldwide, Christmas is just shut down! It's beginning to rev up, the songs, the incense, the covetousness, the decorations, the lights, the shopping, the people whizzing all over the place, too much to drink, overspending, gluttony, parties, caroling is not quite here yet, but some of it is, and the shopping. And so it's just an interesting thing to put in the back of your mind. If God let some of it get going, and then sends Christ and Elijah [Dave Pack] would be the one who'd have to say this. "See all of this, God hates it, shut it down! It's over worldwide." Nobody will do one more thing regarding Christmas until potentially around a little before or at or whatever Christmas time, this guy comes back.”

I love that we are back to attacking Christmas this time of year! It makes me chuckle that he still speaks against it with the ferocity he does. This is now the third time Dave has prophesied the return of Christ/man of sin/some big event on Christmas. (Third time is the charm!)

December 12, 2019 - Dave Pack: (paraphrased) "The season" in Luke 12:42is the Christmas season. I defy you to say that is wrong. Either when (Dave is) speaking or during the Christmas season Christ returns. Saturday night is my last message and I am sticking to it!"

January 2, 2020 - Dave Pack “The powerful case for New Year’s remains unchanged. It is still noumenia today and will be through midnight. All who understand the dynamic of New Year’s know heavy drinking is scheduled to continue through tonight, and frankly on through what will be for many a “long, lost weekend.” It became clear that we needed to have this pagan festival [he lumped in Christmas/New Years this year] behind us. It also became clear that God, as we have wondered many times in the past, may use the Sabbath in a big way. All evidence has come to point to sometime this evening.

(~1:58:00) - “Now let's back up, in the days of his [Dave Pack] voice when he's about to sound, it says "it's present active." This is my [Dave's] last message. Surely you must all know that. What would I tell you on Monday or Wednesday? I can't imagine, I've been surprised before, but all the mystery is over. But it looks like it's "present active." When he [Dave Pack] sounds.

Now it's going to take a few days for all of God's people to hear this because "the good man of the house [Dave Pack] warns the house" and they know what's going on before anybody else does, and their lights are burning and they're going to get the kingdom.

So the "days of his voice," or he's rushing to call it out, he's rushing because what we're going to have a two week layoff? We're going to shoot way on into December or something? Why is he [Dave Pack] rushing to call it out? Well, for the same reason that the days of his voice and his final messages are contiguous, they're present active. When he's about to sound for the first time. Now that picture in Revelation 10:7 describes the things he does, finishes a series, as I understand it brethren, and sounds, and Christ is still in heaven waiting to come and tell him [Dave Pack], eat the book. And we're going to deal with Israel in two phases.”

Part 336 - You heard it here, this is his last message, I think we hold him to it. (There are literally a ton more times he claims that either he/Christ/God finished the series. Hasn’t happened yet.

Part 294 - “So the "mystery of God" was not done without today's sermon, the proverbial, "No Way!" It just wasn't. And it resets timing! Because there's one last message.”

Part 287 - “It's all there, it is right, and it is this is the last message that I was led by god to explain.”

Part 224 - “This is the last sermon you will ever need to hear!”

Part 175 - “This is the last part of the series!”

Part 168 - "The sermon series ends with Part 168!"

(36:20-37:00) - “So there would be a time when complete understanding of prophecy would arrive. Now, probably not quite as absolutely perfect as when God raises him [Dave Pack] and he talks to the world. We're going to see that a little before Christ gets here, but it is important to understand in light of what you're going to hear tonight. We may be learning the complete picture tonight. So the series [Dave Pack] has been prophesying in part, it was always building to when that, which is in part is done away with it's made entirely void. I mean, we've been a long time, but in some ways I'm going to just do away in a single stroke tonight through an amazing exercise. I'm going to do away with a lot of what we understood, while validating every bit of it. Now how in the world can we do that?

We now have "the almost complete picture." Christ will bring a little more but it's complete enough that God says before this man [Dave Pack] ever sounds. And he [Dave Pack] actually sounds up to a day before Christ gets here, the picture will be complete. So when is that it's supposed to be in the days of his [Dave Packs] voice? Well, it's been four days, but I've been banging away here for a while. Recently, clearing things up, he's [Dave Pack] rushing to call it out. And at a certain point, he [Dave Pack] gets to a last message and that triggers something. And this isn't that message, but it's the last message probably I will give to you. And it's the last message you will need to hear from me.”

Once again, either God revealed this for the third time to Dave or He didn’t.

Draw your own conclusions.

Anthony Rowell, Former COG Member, Sentenced To 21 Years In Prison For Kidnapping, Sodomy and Rape

From a reader:

Here is something you may have missed. Anthony Rowell, a former Church of God member and Ambassador College student was sentenced to 21 years in prison for rape, kidnapping, and sodomy. Another shining example of the COG. What a legacy we have left behind!

Investigators: Man posed as officer before assaulting woman
COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) — Investigators allege a central Missouri man already facing rape and kidnapping charges posed as a law enforcement officer to force a woman to perform a sex act.
The Columbia Daily Tribune reports 49-year-old Anthony Rowell, of Holts Summit, was arrested Wednesday on warrants for first-degree kidnapping and first-degree sodomy. Bond was set at $500,000.

Missouri State Highway Patrol investigators wrote in charging documents that Rowell posed as a police officer while offering to help a woman whose car stalled in December 2017. The woman told investigators the man said he suspected her of using marijuana and driving drunk but implied he would let her go if she performed the sex act.

Rowell has been in custody since March 2018 on charges in two other assault-related cases.
Rowell’s attorney, Shane Farrow, did not immediately return a call seeking comment.

Former Holts Summit Uber driver faces new sex crime and kidnapping charges
BOONE COUNTY — A former Uber driver, who was previously charged with rape and kidnapping twice, is now facing new sex crime and kidnapping charges.

Anthony Todd Rowell, of Holts Summit, faces charges of 1st degree sodomy or attempted sodomy, along with 1st degree kidnapping for a incident in 2017.

The probable cause statement said a woman ran out of gas in the early hours of December 2, 2017. It stated the woman said Rowell approached her, saying he was a police officer and indicated he could take her to jail for driving while intoxicated and for possessing marijuana. The statement said he implied he would overlook her arrest if she engaged in sexual favors, to which she agreed.

Investigators matched a fingerprint from the victim's car to Rowell. In June of last year, the victim was interviewed and shown a line-up to see if she could identify the man who was responsible for sexually assaulting her. She pointed at the photo of Rowell and said she was "70% sure" Rowell was the man responsible.

His bond has bond has been set at $50,000.

Rowell was involved in two previous incidents regarding attacks on women.

Holts Summit man pleads guilty to Boone County sex crimes
A Holts Summit man admitted to several sex crimes on Monday that took place over several years.
Anthony Rowell pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree kidnapping and one count each of rape and second-degree sodomy. The crimes happened in 2017 and 2018 during three different incidents throughout Boone County.

Judge Brouck Jacobs sentenced Rowell to seven years on each of the four counts. Two of the four will run consecutively to two others, amounting to a 21-year prison sentence. Rowell will be under lifetime supervision of the sex offender registry once he is released.

Rowell was first arrested in January 2018 after trying to kidnap a woman on Greenwood Avenue in Columbia. Prosecutors charged him two months later with a sexual assault that occurred in 2017. The victim in that sexual assault said she left a Columbia bar with only memory of being held in a van and attacked with a stun gun. A sexual assault kit found DNA evidence that matched Rowell.

Prosecutors then charged Rowell in 2019 with sodomy and impersonating a police officer for a December 2017 incident on Highway 63. Law enforcement claimed a woman ran out of gas when Rowell pulled up behind her claiming to be an officer. The woman said Rowell forced her into giving him oral sex in exchange for help.

Assistant prosecuting attorney Sue Boresi dropped the charges of impersonating an officer in the plea. She said the case had several unique aspects, including the number of victims and the "predatory" pattern of Rowell waiting for women to be alone in order to seize and sexually assault them.
