God's One True COG Leader Speaks Out On Coffee Pot Wars and Proper Pickle Placement

It is another day in the Living Church of God and men and women in the church just cannot do anything right. From fighting over who gets to lead hymns to the proper placement of pickles on the table, LCG members are constantly doing something wrong. In his Feast of Trumpets/pre-Feast of Tabernacles love letter to the few remaining faithful, Gerald Weston discusses how enlightened LCG members are over the rest of the COG's and Christianity.

...the Apostle Paul explains that the body of Christ is made of many different parts (1 Corinthians 12), and we know it is human nature to desire to be one of the comelier parts of the body (1 Corinthians 12:22–25). How many men have striven to hold an office in Spokesman Club or to be in front of the congregation leading hymns or speaking? And it’s not just the men. We’ve seen ladies get into what we sometimes call “coffee pot wars,” fighting each other over where best to place the pickles on the serving table. This may sound humorous and even preposterous, but those of us who have been around for any length of time know that these things really do happen!0

Notice that Paul tells us it is Christ who determines where each of us fits within the body (1 Corinthians 12:11, 18). A body will not function properly with two mouths and one ear. As Paul explains, “If the foot should say, ‘Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,’ is it therefore not of the body?… If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling?” (vv. 15–17).

As Paul explained, “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling” (Ephesians 4:4). Then, one of the clearest passages of Scripture—yet one of the most difficult for most people to accept—is found just after that. Christ has placed in the body positions of responsibility so we can have unity and, “speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love” (vv. 15–16).

To those who really get the big picture and faithfully hold on to it until the end, God will give a great reward. The current spirit ruler who directs the course of this world, along with the angels who fell with him when he “got the big head” and thought he knew better than God, will be removed and replaced (Revelation 12:4; 20:1–4). His removal is emphatically shown in the Day of Atonement. And the fact that we will replace him and his minions is stated in numerous scriptures in both the Old and New Testaments (Daniel 7:27; Matthew 19:27–29; Luke 19:16–19; Revelation 20:4, 6).

Weston goes onto mock Christians who believe in heaven and how mistaken they are and then whitewashes the LCG belief that church members will literally become God, so much so that they are co-equal with Jesus. The power trip that COG leaders need to have so that they can rule over others is mind-numbing. To be co-equal with Christ is to have dominion over all creation as they sit side by side with Jesus.

Further, we are not to become angels or some kind of super-humans in the resurrection, as so many professing Christians mistakenly believe. You do not need me to remind you that we in God’s Church have been called to become sons and daughters of God, the very children of the living God—brothers, sisters, and joint heirs with Christ (Romans 8:14–21; Hebrews 2:10–18; 2 Corinthians 6:18). Can there be a more glorious future for such flawed beings as we now truly are?

Can Gerald Weston EVER write a letter to his followers that does not discuss anything wrong he perceives them doing, that does not bad mouth the rest of Christianity, and that does not discuss sex? Is he capable of writing a letter filled with grace, compassion, and mercy? No bitching and moaning, just a heartfelt "you are loved for who you are" letter? Can he? Will he?

Has Bob Thiel Now Declared Himself One of the Two Witless Witnesses?

from anon...

Bob Thiel continues his journey through La La Land with his mentally disturbed mind now saying he is Elijah and is one of the two witless witnesses. We knew it would only be a matter of time till his mind cracked and he declared himself a witless witness. He was already so far down the rabbit hole that there is nothing left for him to be.

Never has the Church of God seen a more successful and amazing church in its entire history. More importantly, never has there been a Church of God leader as magnificent and awesome as Bob Thiel. Even with all the boasting from Dave Pack, there is none like Bob Thiel.

Although people like the discredited Ron Weinland and David Pack have claimed to be ‘Elijah,’ neither of them are.

But, guess who is that Elijah...Come on, make a guess...

Yet, the Bible does show that there will be an ‘Elijah’ who is alive before Jesus returns and that it is likely that he will be one of the two witnesses. And as Jesus is likely to return within the next couple of decades, it is reasonable to consider that he must be alive today.

Bob Thiel has been on a one-man war in declaring himself as the only COG leader who has restored church history, doctrine, and the message of the kingdom of God. And, he is the ONLY COG leader who has publications in 100 different languages. But then, as usual, Thiel throws in his wimpy capitulation that he MIGHT not be that man.

Could he be one who has restored information on church history, doctrine, prophecy, and the reason that God created anything? Could he be one reaching people around the world with the Gospel of the Kingdom of God in nearly 100 different languages? Or has God not chosen to have him do much at this stage?

Of course, he has to throw Herbert Armstrong into the mix using him as a tool to claim Herbert was speaking about The Bob to come.

Those with a WCG background might find the following quote from Herbert W. Armstrong of some assistance here as he wrote:

Those called into the Church were called not merely for salvation and eternal life, but to learn the way of God’s government and develop the divine character during this mortal life in the Church age …

Also Malachi 4:5-6 pictures the Elijah to come at the very end of the Church age (Mystery of the Ages. 1985, pp. 201, 349).And when was the “Church age” supposed to end according to Herbert Armstrong’s old church? Notice:

God has set before us an open door and no MAN can shut it. God can shut it, and He will when the work is finished and the Philadelphia Church goes to a place of safety. …The Laodicean Church is not going to be worthy to escape to a place of safety. When it is too late, they will find that the Church of Philadelphia has gone to safety (What Is the “LAODICEAN CHURCH”? Good News August 1959 Vol. VIII, Number 8).

Now since the Church age has not ended, and the Day of the Lord has not yet come, then it follows that Elijah was to come on the scene publicly after this was written. His restoring of “all things” means that he is to be restoring information that the true Church of God once understood, but later must have lost or misunderstood

Again, Thiel claims he is the only one restoring all things to the church.

The problem is that just as many would not hear Elijah’s or John the Baptist’s messages, relatively few will pay much attention to the end time Elijah as well.

Thiel has been having fits over the last few years that 99% of the COG movement ignores him and his message. No one cares about what he preaches, particularly Living Church of God members. They know him for the liar he is. Rod Meredith, Dibar Apartian, Herbert Armstrong would all have a fit to see Thiel making such absurd claims.

I can state for a fact that Bob Theil is NOT Elijah. He is NOT one of the two witless witnesses. He is NOT a minister of God and is NOT a legitimate leader of a Church of God.

Fake COG Prophet Says 2021 Could Be Worse than 2020, But it May Not Be. We Shall See

There is one thing you can say about every single Church of God prophet over the last 80 some years and that is all of them do not know what they hell they are talking about. Biblical prophets make definitive statements while COG prophets hem and haw with endless maybes, could be, might happen, possibly, and many more noncommittal belches of hot air. It is now 2020 and every single "prophecy" these guys have speculated about has been a lie.

Never fear though, today's group of liars are still spouting nonsense.  Take a load of the self-appointed false prophet, Bob Thiel.

Jesus told of a time called the beginning of sorrow (Matthew 24:4-8).

So, yes, COVID restrictions or not, 2021 could be as bad or worse than 2021. However, since there will be ups and downs before the start of the Great Tribulation, we will see.

Some of what we are seeing, however, is a prelude of the totalitarian governmental controls that will be in place during the time of the Great Tribulation.

Bob Thiel's garbage is just a sick as Dave Pack's and Gerald Flurry's lies.

As King of your world in the millennium, are you be willing to die for the sins of your inhabitants?

There has been a lot of weird things said by Church of God leaders, ministers, and self-appointed prophets over the last eight decades. From Germany using the Pasadena campus as the HQ of their invasion of America to the egret sculpture coming alive with the egrets picking up the four corners of the auditorium, lifting it up, and flying it to Petra while being led by the 5th egret. From sacred rocks, all things common, to double blessings, the craziness has no end to how weird it gets.

One famous mentally disturbed crackpot in the church was Gerald Waterhouse. This man spent decades telling one huge whopper after another, all with headquarters ' approval. In fact, they sent him out to deliberately torture members with his nonsense. Who can forget those 3 to 4-hour sermons, sitting on hard metal chairs, listening to the most idiotic stuff imaginable?

One thing I totally forgot about was Waterhouse claiming that when we became "god" in the millennium and had our own planets to rule over, that we would also be crucified for the sins of our inhabitants.

Thanks to Exit and Support Network  for that reminder:

September 13, 2020
HWA taught so many lies about the Millennium and New Heavens and New Earth. He wanted us to focus on being “big shots” and lording it over others. Then after the Millennium, he said we would “fly throughout the universe” and make the planets over into something new. I even heard it taught–and I don’t know if it was Gerald Waterhouse or which minister–that we would “die for others” on our very own planet. This is blasphemous! I never could wrap my head around that. Yes, there has got to be something better and I’ll trust God to bring it to pass. –Former WCG member

Almost everything about Armstrongism has ended up being blasphemous and as the days go by the crazy self-appointed and dream certified leaders of the church continue that blasphemy.

UCG: Relax, COVID is not a sign of the end times, but is a "Dress Rehearsal"

We must never forget that the boys in Cincinnati are the authority on all kind of things, and in this case, prophecy. They have determined that there is no need to worry about the pandemic being a sure sign of the end times. Whew! What a relief!

Interest in Bible prophecy has been sharpened by this pandemic. Very early on, we said this was not the time of pestilence defined by the fourth horseman in Revelation 6. Certainly, it has been a serious health emergency, but we understand there were other pieces of the prophetic puzzle not yet in place. There will be larger disease pandemics in the future. To use Mr. Mead’s phrase, this has been a “dress rehearsal.”

More recently some have concluded that an impending vaccine for this virus could be the “mark of the beast” mentioned in Revelation. Such speculation does not match the biblical descriptors of what will come upon the world during the coming great tribulation. God’s elect will know when this mark arrives and will have the fortitude to resist its defining features. Unsound and unscriptural speculation today should be avoided. We are not yet at the moment when the beast power has appeared and is enforcing its mark.

They know this is not a sign of the end because Darris McNeely has not seen the 4 Horsemen ride across the country.

We haven’t run with the horses yet. But we have come through a period we should consider as a dress rehearsal for bigger things to come. Let’s learn from what we’ve experienced.

So there you have it! Bob Thiel eat your heart out!

Philadelphia Church of God Thinks Germans Are Arming Themselves To Take Over The World

The fear-mongering in the cult compound in Edmond, Oklahoma continues on with one dreary doomsday scenario after another. This time it is the tired and worn out scenario that Herbert Armstrong started right after WWII when he lied that Hitler was alive and living in South America.

Various doomsday false prophets of Armstrongism have loved this story and promote it at every opportunity that they have. The only ones who even slightly believe this is church members 60 years old and up, and even then most of them know it is a pile of nonsense. Well, most do, except for the Philadelphia Church of God crowd. PCG like Dave Pack and Bob Thiel needs to have a boogeyman that they can count on to fulfill their darkest dreams and desires. They need and want to see humanity suffer in order to make themselves es look good in the eyes of the few hundred followers they each have.

Josue Michels of the Philadlephia Trumpet has this headliner up: German Weapons Manufacturer’s Nazi Past Exposed - The same man who led one of Hitler’s concentration camps led Germany’s weapons industry after World War II

The weapons from German arms manufacturer Heckler & Koch are well known for their deadly precision. Their rifles and other small arms are used in advanced militaries of countries such as the United States and Great Britain. The Bundeswehr and German police units have been using Heckler & Koch weapons for decades. Even now, the company is hoping to obtain a coveted order of around 120,000 new assault rifles, valued at €250 million (us$295.8 million), for Germany’s troops.

MilitaryTimes.com noted, “For decades, German arms giant Heckler & Koch has served as the gold standard for military and civilian weapons manufacturing—building revolutionary and, oftentimes, game-changing rifles, machine guns, grenade launchers, submachine guns and pistols for a variety of customers including special operations forces, conventional infantry units and law enforcement agencies.” But “the gold standard for military and civilian weapons manufacturing” has a tainted history, to say the least.

Heckler served in the arms industry as Hitler was rising in the 1930s. In 1936, Heckler became an authorized representative at German metal manufacture Hugo Schneider AG (hasag). hasag was soon recognized as an “NS model company.” Heckler eventually became head of a plant in Taucha, Saxony. The reports reveal that he used forced labor from concentration camps as the workforce for his plant. “More than 1,000 Jewish women as well as Sinti and Roma from the Auschwitz and Buchenwald concentration camps were deported here to assemble bazookas in Heckler’s factory,” Bildnoted. “The forced laborers lived in wooden barracks behind barbed wire” (Trumpet translation throughout).

Many of these forced laborers got sick or died. An SS document from Oct. 13, 1944, shows that 500 Jews were deported from Auschwitz to Taucha.

It is no coincidence that PCG is reporting this. The myth that Americans would be rounded up by invading Germans and placed in concentration camps has been a wet dream they have all wanted to see. So anything they can find to support this int her eyes, they will.

Eighty percent of the approximately 15,000 officers who laid the foundation of the German Army in 1955 fought under Adolf Hitler just a few years previous.

This is not a coincidence. The German Army and its industry were formed with the intention of resurrecting the Nazi empire. With every generation, these ideas and intentions have been passed on. Recent investigations have shown that a shockingly high number of right-wing extremists are spread throughout the Army.

In May 1945, Herbert W. Armstrong told his radio audience: “From the very start of World War ii, [the Germans] have considered the possibility of losing this second round, as they did the first—and they have carefully, methodically planned, in such eventuality, the third round—World War iii!” He wrote in the September 1948 Plain Truthnewsmagazine:

Even before the end of [World War ii], I revealed to you the Nazi plans for a Nazi underground movement, to go underground as a secret organization the very moment they lost the war—to lay low a few years during Allied and Russian military occupation, then to come forth when least expected, restore Germany to power, and go on to finally accomplish their aims in a World War iii.

Mr. Armstrong’s warning was proved true in 1996, but few paid attention.

You must remember, this is the Philadelphia Church of God and they and Herbert Armstrong have NEVER lied or told a false prophecy! Not once! Ever!

So strap on your jackboots and start marching or be prepared to end up in a camp somewhere or see your children shipped off to be slaves to the Europeans.

Josue Michels says the following:

The Bible prophesied that Germany’s Nazi empire would go “underground” and return. Revelation 17:8 says, “The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder … when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.” Mr. Flurry explains: “The word translated ‘bottomless pit,’ or abyss, in verse 8 actually means underground. That’s where the Nazis have been since before the end of World War ii.”

The God behind these Bible prophecies has led Mr. Armstrong and Mr. Flurry to closely watch Germany. More and more evidence is surfacing, proving that Nazi leaders did indeed plan the “third round.” But few are heeding the message.

Even Bild believes the only conclusion to be drawn is that Heckler & Koch should suffer some consequences from the revelations. But the story is so much deeper than one company or even one country. Through His prophecies, God pleads with the whole world to repent. Sadly it will take “great tribulation” before mankind finally heeds His message (Matthew 24:21-22).

These prophecies should give mankind hope—not in men but in God’s promises to soon intervene and bring an end to mankind’s evil. Germany, for its part, hasn’t repented of its past and will soon commit a far greater crime: World War III.
