"David C. Pack is gunning for the office of Village Idiot"

Eating Words

Imagine someone going on a very long theological Apology Tour but without the apologies. That best describes David C. Pack during “The Greatest Unending Story! (Part 492)” on February 3, 2024.

After a two-week self-sequestering, the Pastor General of The Restored Church of God spent 89 minutes discrediting his own doctrines while draping them with the thin veil of new, exciting knowledge.

Half of “The Greatest Untold Story!” has been disputing the other half. Until Part 492. The scales are now tipped to 60% of the Series, being a rejection of the rest.

Has anyone ever lived who loves to eat his own words more than David C. Pack? If his legendary verbal blunders were thoroughly documented, he could quickly fill a volume of Encyclopedia Britannica.

David C. Pack debunks David C. Pack before a live studio audience for sixteen minutes.

Starting thirty seconds into Part 492, Hangry Dave feasted upon his own mutable words, proving how very easy to argue against himself was highly possible.

Part 492 – February 3, 2024
@ 00:28 When do years begin? Were WE right to think that it’s Passover? Is this right? Or is it close? Now, we’re gonna take another look at this. Some pretty exciting things are gonna come out tonight.

When Dave posses the question, you already see the coming answer. A host of rolling eyeballs swayed in the Main Hall as members scribbled in their notebooks, anticipating the words across the page soon to be eaten.

@ 01:36 Let’s begin to flesh out what a year is. It’s gonna be more important than you can imagine by the time we’re done.

@ 03:33 So, to God, a year is twelve months… Now, the first month wouldn’t start from the middle of Abib. You know, I been battling this for a long time. That’s why it took some extra time before bringing this in.

Dave begrudgingly accepted that a year is, in fact, twelve months. I wonder if the sky cracked open with light rays as an angelic choir sang for joy when this jolted him out of bed. Yes, learning such revelations is how the brethren of The Restored Church of God spend their Sabbaths.

@ 04:01 But, it comes down to accepting that there are twelve months in a year.

David C. Pack admits that years begin at the beginning of the first month. His keen prophetic perception caught up with the children napping on blankets at their parents’ feet. Thus, for 89 minutes on February 3, 2024, the Feast of Backpedaling was officially observed at The Restored Church of God.

The Prophetic All-You-Can-Eat Word Buffet opened, and False Elijah was the only one in line.

While I worked at RCG’s Headquarters, David C. Pack’s continual clarifying reversals forced me to change how I took notes during Services. It became my personal coping mechanism for tolerating two- to three-hour messages three to four days a week.

Absolute misery is sitting in that frigid Main Hall, listening to Dave eat his own words from the previous message. Sometimes, even the next day. Week after week. Month after month. Year after year.

Instead of writing down what he expected us to, I began recording his stupidest comments and the Bible verses that refuted him. Sometimes, those verses were on the very page he was reading from. He blathered for minutes while I stared at the one verse he refused to read that would have abruptly ended his mistaken enthusiasm.

Relief would come when Dave finally accepted he was wrong about XYZ, just as I had noted the moment the false words fell from his ignorant lips. The exrcg.org website is an amplification of my personal process for sanity preservation.

A growing number of current RCG members refuse to listen to David C. Pack. Some brethren learn here what the Pastor General teaches. For real.

Many words Dave taught recently are eaten in Part 492, even though he does not present it that way.

Flashback Part 489 – January 6, 2024
@ 35:48 But, we do know (and this is impossible to argue). This is impossible to argue because it’s literally going forward…The seven years and a thousand absolutely, immutably impossible to argue those begin on the first night of Passover.

Eat up, Dave.

@ 37:49 Now, I ask again, have years always been from Abib 15? We know they will always be going forward. Inarguable.

Eat.

@ 1:42:02 Lacking something akin to an oracle, the Series is officially done.

Okay. Maybe that is cheating. He already ate those words during Part 490.

Flashback Part 490 – January 13, 2024
@ 20:52 Midst of the years. It very difficult because every year since the Garden has been the same. It’s Passover to Passover.

Eat.

@ 50:59 …every year will start at Passover. That’s why God had to (over these recent weeks) get me to see that.

Falsely using God’s name and deceptively speaking with God’s authority, David C. Pack proves that God had nothing to do with his understanding. Eating words that he claims God inspired should be the most frightening to anyone paying tithes to that spiritually corrupt organization.

@ 1:43:33 …and watch everything get cleared up. So, that’s pretty obvious that we’re right on track, but just not in the way we thought because what God is gonna do is infinitely better.

The Restored Church of God could not be further off-track with a blaspheming liar promoting doctrines of antichrist preaching about himself on the Sabbath, proving he is a human idol.

 Flashback Part 491 – January 20, 2024
@ 17:37 Elijah is raised to restore all things. Would restore all things include a temple?

Eat.

@ 52:16 Now, I'm actually gonna show you…the Bible tells you explicitly the day that this temple is built before you get to Passover.

Eat.

@ 1:10:14 Years start on the middle of a month at Passover. That’s a big key.

@ 1:18:13 So, let me explain that this Passover becomes a powerful juncture.

@ 1:39:06 But now you have a hard, fast deadline. It’s a line in the sand.

Eat. Eat. Eat. Those are only a few samples of the words David C. Pack ate during Part 492. As he continued the message, the leftovers were found further back in the fridge.

Part 492 – February 3, 2024
@ 04:41 …and months always began on the fifteenth? Now, that didn’t work. But I, ‘course, I’m gotta come to why I thought Passover was the day that the Kingdom began.

@ 05:57 But I’m I was trying to be faithful to something that I saw.

In The Restored Church of God, it is now acceptable for the Pastor General “to be faithful” to fraudulent imaginary ideas. But you better not try that, brethren.

@ 06:04 So, Creation [chuckles], think about it. Would’ve been Abib 1. God didn’t start the world on the fifteenth of a month. And I it bothered me terribly. But, I was trying to be faithful to the Passover Christ said we’ll take the Passover that day “in My Father’s Kingdom.”

So, David C. Pack was not technically to blame. The ambiguous words Jesus Christ uttered caused Dave’s confusion. There are always excuses as to why this, that, and the other turned out to be false.

@ 09:45 “…that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s Kingdom.” That just means the designated day. It does not mean the Father’s Kingdom came on Passover. And, by the way, would it be the 14th or the 15th anyway? …It does not say the Kingdom came that day. Took me a long time to see it.

The Kingdom of God arriving this Passover? Eat.

Jesus Christ takes the Passover symbols on Abib 15? Eat.

@ 10:32 So, it does not mean the Kingdom comes on Passover. The Kingdom of God comes two weeks before that.

@ 11:14 And that bothered me terribly. How could that be? Utter chaos. Utter chaos on the Passover. But, if the Passover were kept two weeks later, everybody could be ready for it.

The Day of the Lord occurs on Passover? Eat.

@ 13:39 In Colossians 2:16, the apostle Paul said New Moons are a shadow of a thing to come. Passover's a full moon. New Moon is a shadow. Now, the church already the church, at least (and I think God understood this with Mr. Armstrong). The church always kept Trumpets. So, the church always did keep one New Moon and that was one reason many thought the Kingdom would come on Trumpets.

The shadow Paul wrote of was Passover? Eat.

@ 16:15 I assumed that because they were there for a while, it was natural, “It must be Passover.” They’ve got seven days. No.

Dave assumed a natural conclusion that was utterly false. The Power of Presumption is strong with this one. And he keeps screaming this to the brethren. Why do they not listen?

All of that was just in the first sixteen minutes.

I remember learning in The Restored Church of God that positions of authority were granted from above, and men are not to seek them out. In God's Government, "Offices are given. They are not taken."

Despite that, David C. Pack is gunning for the office of Village Idiot.

As Dave started on his new biblical fixation, he foolishly repeated the same mistakes he had winced past for sixteen minutes. It is painful to witness. After eating his own words because of his presumptions heaped unto heaven, the man reapplies the same broken logic to his next big thing.

@ 18:46 …and it’s yearly. It’s every year. It kinda sounds suspicious. Like hmm. Is this potentially, maybe, or we talkin' about the start of a year? Hmm. Maybe.

@ 19:43 You might just pause and say, “What’s the most natural time you would offer a yearly sacrifice?” Probably the start of a year.

If you have an annual physical, it does not mean you do it on the first day of the year. Something happening each year does not prove it occurs at the start of the year. That concept escapes Dave.

Coffee Kid and Pepper Boy must be too frightened to offer sound logic to their human idol. Maybe by now, Jim and Andy consider it a good day if they do not get yelled at. Rational thought is banned from the Third Floor Executive Imaginarium.

Presumptuous conclusions for a future word-gorging in 3…2…1…

@ 29:11 Now, that’s powerful knowledge. It changes a lot of things.

@ 29:33 This’ll tell you the Day of the Lord is absolutely Abib 1.

@ 34:00 Again, this is revelatory knowledge. I’m giving you the Scriptures.

@ 35:11 The midst of the years has to be Abib 1. There’s no other time you can have it.

@ 35:54 So, Abib 1 is always the midst of the years. Always.

Hangry Dave loves to eat his cold leftovers.

Flashback Part 482 – November 30, 2023
@ 1:40:03 The midst of the years, it has to be Cheshvan 1 or Abib. Abib will not work.

If Dave could eat pictures, he would want to consume this whether the midst was Cheshvan 15 or 20. Everything he has taught about this before has been eaten.

Part 492 – February 3, 2024
@ 37:38 But I hope by now, it’s impossible to believe that years do not begin on Abib 1, and all iterations of the Kingdom begin on Abib 1, and all years since the Garden into eternity have been Abib 1.

@ 38:23 Go up year to year. Add sacrifices. Abib 1. So, there’s no arguing with that anymore. Not that anybody would want to.

Well, about that. A future David C. Pack may have some stern words on this topic.

The further Dave went, the more historic the words he ate. He wolfed down hours of content in seconds.

@ 1:02:05 “And the messenger of the covenant, whom you delight in: behold, he shall come.” Whether that’s Elijah or Christ (it looks like it’s Elijah, but there’s a case that it’s Christ), dun-make any difference, they’re both there. There are, they're all there, and you're there, too. [laughs] We’re all there.

Stop.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Dave is no longer sure HE is the Messenger of the Covenant? Wow.

Dave rushed to call this out, ignoring all the outstanding "cascade learning" of Part 466 like he was snatching a donut off the counter on his way to a meeting.

Flashback Part 466 – September 7, 2023
@ 24:52 "And the Messenger of the Covenant, whom you delight in." We gotta talk about that.

@ 42:48 God’s people delight in a coming Elijah. We all talked about him. This is a man that people delight in.

Eaten.

An RCG principle is, “If someone is not sure they are the True Church, they cannot be the True Church.” A man is either written about in the Bible or not. Now, Dave is not sure that is him. Double-wow.

The more alarming implication is that whether a Bible verse applies to Jesus Christ or an ordinary man, it “dun-make any difference” to the leadership of The Restored Church of Another god.

So, brethren could be reading about their Savior or Pastor General David C. Pack, and it does not matter. Even those half-asleep in RCG should be concerned about that.

Are they reading about Jesus Christ or the Antichrist? According to Dave, it dun-make any difference.

Dave admitted he might not be the Messenger of the Covenant but doubled down elsewhere.

Part 492 – February 3, 2024
@ 1:09:24 "…and the counsel of peace shall be between them both." Well, the only two people who’ve been mentioned are God and Elijah. So, the Father’s there while His house is being built.

David C. Pack will work directly with the Father even though Elijah is not mentioned a single time in Zechariah.

@ 1:10:50 "The mountain of the Lord's House is set up, and all nations flow to it."

@ 1:11:02 But, it’s built after He gets here. It’s not waiting for him on Abib 1.

The Temple is built by David C. Pack before Jesus Christ returns on Passover? Eat.

@ 1:14:13 So, the Temple is now obviously built all while God’s here.

In your face, ALL of Part 491! Eaten. The power of Dave compels you!

Jesus Christ was scheduled to return at sunset on April 8, 2024, at 7:59 PM ET. Have those words also been eaten?

@ 1:11:39 But, God’s gonna let all human beings who have ever lived build that house. Maybe starting Abib 1. Maybe starting before that.

@ 1:16:42 But, I am not sure, and I'm not gonna declare that we wait till Abib 1. We’re to watch. Because the event that’s coming is a thief event.

@ 1:23:28 I just don’t know. I know that it’s not long after the Series is done.

@ 1:26:12 If you ask me, “Mr. Pack, could you give me an opinion?” All I can do is give you an opinion. I suspect…I suspect we’re waiting to the only day I know of that cannot tarry. That will surely come. And that’s the coming of the next year.

Hint. Hint. Abib 1. Wink. Wink. The golden days of Dave emphasizing, “Brethren, you don’t want Mr. Pack’s opinion,” are long dead.

Part 492 was an 89-minute Feast of Backpedaling that chewed up doctrines of the past. Oh, the joys that Part 493 will contain.

David C. Pack is a prophetic bulimic vomiting into and eating from the same bowl. This has been the case since 2013.

The original title, “The Greatest Story Never Told!” was eaten.

The first thirty parts of the Series in Member Services were eaten.

Literature including "Is 'That Prophet' Alive Today?—The Rise of False Prophets," "I Will Send Elijah to Restore All Things," "Herbert W. Armstrong—His Life in Proper Prospective," and "The Bible's Difficult Scriptures Explained!," were all eaten.

Dozens of The World to Come episodes were eaten.

On and on it goes. Words eaten. Money eaten. Lives eaten.

That is the untold story of The Restored Church of Another god.

When there is no accountability, rampant corruption takes hold. Seducing spirits allow no rest for the brethren choosing to stay there.

Eat. Vomit. Eat. Vomit. Eat. David C. Pack will not stop this custom anytime soon.

And I will not be eating my own words about that.

Cal Culpepper Continues His Trail of Destruction in the Philadelphia Church of God

Exit and Support Network has more up on Cal Culpepper, one of the more abusive Philadelphia Church of God ministers.

Cal Culpepper Has Destroyed Many Lives and Families:
February 9, 2024
Cal Culpepper is a very evil and arrogant man. His wickedness has destroyed many lives and families. Anyone that has personally dealt with him or ministers like him in this group have been left damaged. His dirty deeds are kept secret from members, as I am quite sure that there are great offenses that Flurry himself is unaware of. Cal is a narcissistic sociopath and Flurry allows it, giving him great power, materialism, trust and authority. The members fear him. He is a demon possessed Diotrephes. One day coming, he and the PCG band will be dried up, withered in time by the hand of God himself, as membership continues to steadily decline. God is watching. He will judge him, Flurry, and his branch. The vengeance solely is His. The true and only absolute Hope in our lives is in Jesus Christ our Savior, our King. –B. O.

Living Church of God: Training Future Gods and Goddesses

I just checked out LCG's February 1 Weekly Update in the member area and it has the usual falderal of topics that look like the Worldwide Church of God from 50 years ago. That experiment failed so I am still amazed that today's corporate empires cannot come up with new messages that are relevant to 21st-century Christians? They still try to emulate the old Mother Church instead of bringing new insights into the gospel message of grace, justification, and sanctification. Apparently, they have no idea what that all means.

They are bragging about the summer youth camps coming up and have this to say:

This summer we are planning for teen camps in Texas and Belgium. There will be a teen adventure camp in Oregon and preteen camps in West Virginia, Missouri, and Texas. There may be additional camps in international areas. Some announcements have already been made and others will be made in the next week or two. If you are interested in attending as a camper or serving on the staff at one of these camps, please be patient if we have not given details for the camp you may be interested in. Mr. Jonathan McNair and I spent a few minutes yesterday discussing the importance of our camp programs and we both have a strong belief that our camps have a far greater purpose than entertaining the next generation. While camp is fun, it must be fun with a greater purpose in mind—educating and building character for the future.

The adults can take online study courses on the same worn-out topics from the past. Notice the very first topic, Germany. Not a single topic about the New Covenant.

    • Germany in Prophecy – Rod McNair
    • Business Relationships in the Church – Dexter Wakefield
    • Acts of the Apostles – Roderick C. Meredith
    • Life and Teachings of Jesus Christ – Roderick C. Meredith
    • The General Epistles – Gerald Weston
    • Hosea – Douglas Winnail
    • Tools for Christian Growth: Prayer – Jonathan McNair
    • Passover – Compilation Study
    • Pentecost – Compilation Study
    • The Feast of Trumpets – Compilation Study
Then, Doug Winnail informs church members they need more wisdom about the Old Covenant.
Set a goal of reading about Jesus and the New Covenant, not so much.

Need for Wisdom: Solomon wrote that one of the most important goals in life is to gain wisdom (Proverbs 4:7) and that the value of wisdom is greater than rubies or gold (8:11; 16:16). Proverbs was written to help others gain wisdom (1:1–6) and the key to obtaining wisdom is developing a proper fear of God—having a sincere desire to follow God’s instructions (Proverbs 1:7; 9:10). Godly wisdom helps us discern between right and wrong, and it leads to happiness and a longer life (Proverbs 2:10–11; 3:13–16). As Jesus grew up, He “increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men” (Luke 2:52) because He sought after wisdom and treasured God’s commandments (Proverbs 2:1–5). We are urged to ask God for wisdom (James 1:5) and admonished to study the Scriptures “which are able to make you wise” (2 Timothy 3:14–17). Set a goal of reading through the book of Proverbs—a chapter a day several times a year—so you can grow in wisdom.

Have a profitable Sabbath,
Douglas S. Winnail

Crackpot Prophet Calls That Other Crackpot Prophet Out

It's a sunny day in most of California as our big storm has blown through into Utah and parts unknown. When the sun starts heating things up it warms the heart of our resident self-appointed false prophet of California to lash out at other false prophets in the Church of God. After all, there can only be ONE correct prophet and we all know it has to reside in Arroyo Grande and nowhere else on the entire planet.

Our most highly favored, glorious, and perfect Great Bwana to Africa and the Occasional 100 Caucasians lashed out today at Wade Cox, that other false prophet of the Church of God, the Grand Poobah of the improperly named "christian" Churches of God, all of Africa, and the majority of its Muslims.

Cox, not known as the brightest of the bulbs in the COG leaders pack, has for years made up long charts of how he predicts the end times to happen and the start of the millennium.

2028First year of the Jubilee of Jubilees; the beginning of the Millennium (see the paper The Golden Jubilee and the Millennium (No. 300)).

This really perturbed our Great Bwana Mzungu:

For over a decade, I have denounced wrong chronologies and other matters from CCG’s Wade Cox.

This is in error. There is no possibility that the millennium can begin before 2031. Many of the other events pointed to have simply not happened. Wade Cox will be proven wrong on the millennium and other matters. Certain events that Jesus pointed to have not yet occurred which render Wade Cox’s dates impossible.

Well, if that isn't the pot calling the kettle black! One lying false prophet condemning another false prophet! Oh, wait! This is the COG, how soon I forget.

The Great Bwana goes on:

Some have been critical of me pointing out false predictions from people who claim to be Church of God, but who are probably not truly COG, but instead are false. Because of its denial of Jesus’ divinity, I do not consider that CCG is truly a COG.

He continues with this,, apparently with his head stuck in the sand:

Remember how Jesus dealt with religious leaders (Matthew 7:15-23) and/or Laodiceans (Revelation 3:14-19). If the claims seem improperly prophetic or exceptionally bold, I tend to cite 2 Peter 2:1-3.
Should we be concerned about false and heretical leaders? Should they always be ignored? Should we focus on the positive about them? What did Jesus do? What does the Bible teach?

Many people do not seem to understand what Jesus was really like and what He really taught.

While it is true He taught, “love your enemies” and to “pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you” (Matthew 5:44), it is a misunderstanding to believe that Jesus taught that one could never point out the problems of religious enemies (and yes, we should still pray for them).

Yet, when this blog and others point out the continuing string of lies and false teachings of Bwana Bob he gets his holistic knickers in a knot real fast. How dare anyone criticize him! He is the most perfect and most truthful COG leader to exist since before the foundations of the world were even dreamed up.

Our Great Bwana condemns Cox with this in a glaring fit of hypocrisy:

Jesus often taught to beware of religious leaders. Notice:

15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’

23 “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness! (Matthew 7:15-23, NKJV throughout unless otherwise indicated).

False leaders do not produce good fruit. Many of them tend to encourage lawlessness (though they would almost all deny that). Those that follow them risk being cast out by Jesus.

Hello Buttercup! Go look in the mirror!

Then in his typical smug condemnatory style, he continues:

In one of the longest condemnations of those who have pretended to be Christian, Jude, Jesus’ brother, wrote:

3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. 4 For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

5 But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. 6 And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; 7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. 8 Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries. 9 Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” 10 But these speak evil of whatever they do not know; and whatever they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves. 11 Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah.

12 These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; 13 raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. 14 Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, 15 to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”

16 These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. 17 But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: 18 how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. 19 These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit (Jude 1:3-19).

Notice that Jude was not afraid to tell the truth about some false leaders who claimed to be Church of God Christians as well as about leaders who are mainly intent on building a following after themselves.

We have been telling the truth about false self-appointed Church of God liars here for over 10 years now, including the lies of the Great Bwana Bob Mzungu.

Then...the most converted man to ever walk this earth condemns several other COG leaders:

That said, while I doubt the conversion of various false ones like Wade Cox, David Pack, Gerald Flurry, and Ron Weiland and do NOT consider that they are truly COG, some people attempt to practice the “guilt by association” game. This is an old Satanic tactic. The Bible teaches that Satan is the accuser of the brethren (Revelation 12:9-10), and we have seen his allies do the same as some like to lump the true in with the false in order to try to tarnish the true.

Our Bwana Bob Mzungu is no more converted than any of the blithering idiots he mentioned above. That's a fact.

Then our Great Bwana ends with, tooting his own little itty bitty horn all about his awesome self:

So, do not be quick to consider the good to be bad. If you truly have God’s Spirit and really strive to be a Philadelphian Christian, you will actually believe that God’s word says there will be prophets and dreams from Him in the last days per Acts 2:17-18.

Do not follow false teachers. Do not presume, however, someone is false because an accuser of the brethren lumps him/her in with the false.

Remember, the Apostle Paul wrote:

19 Do not quench the Spirit. 20 Do not despise prophecies. 21 Test all things; hold fast what is good. 22 Abstain from every form of evil. (1 Thessalonians 5:19-22)

So, in addition to avoiding the bad, do not overlook the good.

Have your really tested all things?

Or have you relied on traditions and feelings?

We have tested the Great Bwana Bob and he has been found lacking.  God is no more working in or through Bwana Bob than he is with Wade Cox, Pack, and Flurry. Set yourselves free and leave the theological filth of these two groups. Freedom is far better than anything these two can offer you.

Satan Attack's Greatest COG In Human History!

Things are not pretty in SpongeBob land in Grove Beach, CA! Satan took his wrath out on the most important Church of God to ever exist since Peter and Paul started spreading their own versions of the gospel message. Never in the last 2,000 some years has a Church of God been attacked this horribly! The Christian martyrs boiled in oil and were killed for their beliefs are just collateral damage compared to what happened in Grover Beach! Even the receivership the Mother church went through in the late 70's does not compare to this epic tragedy! Oh, the humanity! WHY DIDN'T GOD PROTECT HIS MOST LOYAL SERVANT????????????????

As most probably know by now, California was hit with several days of extreme rain. Rain has now taken the entire state out of its drought position it had been in for many years. A drought that our very own Great Bwana to Africa and 100 Occasional Caucasians said would get progressively worse. Another day, another lie.

As the end time rapidly approaches, old meanie Satan is particularly pissed off that the greatest COG in human history has its earth-shattering offices in Grove Beach. Edmond, OK, Wadsworth, OH, and Charlotte, NC in no way can ever be compared to the awesomeness of Grover Beach.

On the other hand, maybe it was God trying to wake up our lying crackpot prophet giving him one last chance to change his ways.

02/08/24 a.m. Many of you probably heard about the torrential rains in California. One news report suggested about 8 trillion gallons of rain fell on California. In our area, we were without electricity for about ten hours on Sunday. Beyond that, we were basically fine until yesterday afternoon when a very windy storm, which may have included a tornado, hit:

suspected tornado wreaked havoc in Grover Beach on Wednesday afternoon, with trees topple, power lines knocked down, and awnings and shingles torn from buildings.  ... The storm hit businesses and homes on Grand and Ramona Avenues as it moved through Grover Beach. ... At 7:20 p.m., more than 2,000 PG&E customers remain in the dark. Suspected Tornado Wreacks Havoc In Grover Beach, photos

Much of the roof of our building at 1036 W. Grand Avenue in Grover Beach was blown off. A lot of rain came in and there was a lot of water on the ground throughout the entire building when I left last evening. Prior to leaving, a roofing firm came to try to prevent more rain from entering the building. Today, I plan to try to figure out how to remove the water and how to best function after this. It was difficult to make a full assessment with the power out, etc. when I left yesterday. We had to shut off all possible power as a safety precaution as rain was filling up the light fixtures in the ceiling. Today, we will see if there is power to the building and if it is safe to turn the lights back on.

That said, as I have written before, weather changes should serve as a type of 'wake-up call' as they help show us that our personal, local, national, and even international circumstances can change quickly. But also, that we always need to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33).

Photo taken on a recent visit to Grove Beach to stand in awe of the greatest Church of God headquarters in this modern dispensation! I was speechless at its awesomeness! We can almost be guaranteed that when Germany invades this country they will use this magnificent headquarters as its main operating base for the invasion of the United States. They will be so amazed at the high quality that they will preserve this building and not allow any military action to be taken on it so that all can be astounded at its beauty.

Oh, by the way, Bwana Bob. It was just weather that happened to you and not some superstitious "wake-up call". Weather. Just plain old weather.

Is It Important To Know Where God's "True" Church Is Today?

Where is God's True Church Today?

Many years ago, the now defunct Worldwide Church of God (through its Ambassador College) published a booklet titled Where is God's True Church Today? The booklet opens with a brief survey of the "vast religious supermarket" that is modern Christianity. Indeed, the author noted that there is something out there to suit almost anyone's tastes, and the clear implication is that that is exactly how most folks choose which church to attend. Nevertheless, he went on to assert that they all can't be right, and that "If anyone of them is right - and remember, they all differ - then that one being right automatically renders all others wrong."

Now, on the surface, that logic seems reasonable. However, if we dig a little deeper, we can see that the author has presented us with a false dilemma. No, God is NOT the author of confusion, but humankind churns it out like butter! Our present reality reflects the fact that HUMANS have divided themselves into these groupings (Catholics, Baptists, Lutherans, Methodists, etc.). These groupings arose down through the centuries as Christians separated themselves from each other over differences in doctrines, rituals, governance, personalities, and a host of other things. And, although the members of each group would be quick to insist that their doctrines, rituals, governance, etc. are superior to all others, the members of other groups would just as quickly point out problems in those areas.

We'll have more to say about those differences in a moment, but it is imperative that we first understand exactly what the Church is in the context of the Greek New Testament. The English word "Church" is a translation of the Greek word ekklesia - which indicates a group of people called out of their homes into a public assembly. In other words, the "Church" is made up of all of the individual people whom God has called out of the world to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. According to the Apostle Paul, this assembly of believers represents the "Body of Christ" (Ephesians 1:22-23 and Colossians 1:18). Paul also told the Church at Corinth that "God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose." (I Corinthians 12:18). Hence, our personal decision to join some manmade organization does NOT put us into the ekklesia - the Body of Christ. Paul also told the saints at Rome that a person cannot be a Christian in their natural state (Romans 8:8). He continued: "Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him." (Romans 8:9) So, the individual members of the body MUST accept Christ as their Savior, and they MUST experience the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Thus, we see that God's ekklesia is NOT a manmade organization or building. It is all of the people around the world who have accepted Christ and currently have his Spirit within them. We have already seen that belief in Christ is essential. Even so, if we dig a little deeper, we see that there are a few other beliefs which are foundational to "TRUE" Christianity. In the sixth chapter of the Epistle to the Hebrews, we are given a list of elementary or foundational principles: repentance, faith, baptism, consecration, resurrection, and judgment (verses 1-2). There is also an early catechism of the faith known as The Didache which mentions the two great commandments, living a life of righteousness and giving, baptism, fasting, the Lord's Prayer, Eucharist, Church offices, and the Lord's second coming. We also have The Apostles' Creed and The Nicene Creed (summaries and affirmations of belief in the narrative of the New Testament canon). Also, full disclosure, in 2017, I wrote a post titled The Essentials of Christianity. In that post, I identified eleven teachings which most Christian groups have in some form in common. In other words, I would not personally want to be associated with any group that didn't embrace these basic beliefs in some shape, form, or fashion.

Nevertheless, Christ said that the thing that would identify his followers would be their love for each other (John 13:35). In similar fashion, Paul wrote to the saints of Galatia that God's Spirit would produce identifiable fruits in their lives (Galatians 5:22-23). He also told Timothy that everyone who claims to be a Christian should distance themselves from sinful behaviors (II Timothy 2:19). Likewise, in the book of Revelation, the saints are identified as those who keep God's commandments (love for God and neighbor) and have the testimony or faith of Jesus Christ (Revelation 12:17 and 14:12). Hence, I would say that any person or group who did not exhibit these characteristics might not be part of the ekklesia! In conclusion, the scriptural references in this post identify God's Church, and having your name on the rolls of some organization is inconsequential to that reality. To be clear, Christians should gather together in fellowship and worship (Hebrews 10:25), and there is certainly nothing wrong with belonging to a group which shares your theological views and sustains you spiritually (whether that is Roman Catholic, Southern Baptist, Episcopalian, Lutheran, Methodist, Seventh-Day Adventist, or Jews for Jesus).

COGWA Members In England Have No Desire to Go To Ireland For The Feast

Check this out on how loving COGWA members in England are with their Irish brethren.

 COGNews

COGWA had to close the registration for its festival venue in Ashbourne, County Meath, Ireland, on the second day, as 630 applications had already been received for a venue that holds only 350.

Over 600 of the applications came from the USA.

There are only two congregations in Britain – London and Kent, both in the far south-east of England – and the majority of the members have no desire to travel to a nondescript town in Ireland and learn about Irish heritage. A satellite venue in Royal Tunbridge Wells in Kent is being hastily organized.

There are two important ancient monuments in County Meath:

Bru na Boinne is a World Heritage Site, containing burial chambers said to have been built around 3000BC. Several passages are aligned with the winter solstice.

British Israelites excavated the Hill of Tara between 1899 and 1902 in the forlorn hope of discovering the ark of the covenant.

Hill Tara is where Gerald Flurry thinks the Ark of the Covenant is buried and at one point thought he and Lil'Stevie were going to be able to dig it up until God revealed to him that a dirty old stone as in Oregon which was to be the coronation stone Jesus was to return and sit upon.

Also, Hill Tara is where our favorite self-appointed false prophet preached a sermon thumping his Bible next to the giant pagan phallus that he couldn't keep his eyes off of.

Crackpot Prophet: Those That Watch Super Bowl Do So At The Behest Of Satan

SpongeBob Sponge Pants, our very own resident crackpot, self-appointed, false prophet is back tooting his itty-bitty little horn today about how EVIL and SATANIC the Super Bowl is and that those who will watch it are doing so because Satan has entered their minds telling them to do so.

Apparently, most of you miscreants out there in COGland who will watch it do so because you lust after the football players, cheerleaders, and VIOLENCE! Bad boys and girls! Bad Laodiceans! Bad!

Tackle football is a lust of the flesh and eyes. Those who claim to be Christian and endorse it are letting the pride of life deceive them.

How many who are in the COGs love the worldly sport of American tackle football and really do not care that it causes irreparable harm to its participants? Is it not another reason that some watch because of their lust for violence and/or for social acceptance?

This is not what loving Christians should do.

Most violent sports advocates do not seem to realize that they are being influenced by the devil who is the prince of the power of the air:

1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:1-10)

SpongeBob adds:

Since I do not actually watch American football, I do not know how many violent acts are likely at this year’s Super Bowl, but the number is likely to be very high, and maybe even a lot more if thoughts of violence are included (cf. Matthew 5:21-22).

In my view, the tackle version of the sport of American football is evil (touch football I would not consider to be inherently evil–though attitude is still a possible factor there). Also, no Christian can really defend how professional football cheerleading females are publicly dressed and displayed–and presumably some of how they will be displayed at the Super Bowl game.

Our foremost authority on EVERYTHING claims he knows what Jesus would do:

Would Jesus want you to watch the Super Bowl? What about the Apostle Paul who warned against approving violence? The same Apostle Paul who said to imitate him as he imitated Christ (1 Corinthians 11:1). Would Jesus or the Apostle Paul watch the Superbowl as football fans rooting for one team to crush the other team?

“Perhaps,” some might answer. And still others may ridicule and/or dismiss what I have written.

However, if Jesus Himself did watch the Super Bowl, would He watch it and hope that one team would tackle and crash into members of the other team? Or might He watch it, if He did, so He could make social commentary against the violence and/or distorted priorities of the land?
