Dave Pack And His Manipulative Brainwashing Rainbow

The Brainwashing Rainbow

Some brethren who leave The Restored Church of God become mini-experts researching psychological manipulation, narcissism, and cults. The interweb is filled with articles about mental conditioning utilizing brainwashing techniques and fear tactics.

Those desiring to understand their time under the thumb of Pastor General David C. Pack have recommended books for me to read. I sometimes receive photos of highlighted paragraphs that are relevant and interesting. Unlike my contemporaries, I have yet to read any of them. I am comfortable with why I joined The Restored Church of God. I am comfortable with why I left The Restored Church of God.

Those people understand their own experiences, but I do not share the same curiosity they have in gaining a deeper insight to help them make sense of the nonsensical. From the summaries I hear, those materials better explain the RCG Crazy and what David C. Pack really is. Kudos to them.

The craziness inside that organization cannot be understated. Former ministers have the most-shocking horror stories to tell. They are almost unbelievable. This collective group is not a vindictive gang of coordinated liars. When you hear similar stories from various people across a stretch of years, the picture becomes too clear to deny as a rumor.

All the voices sing harmoniously: David C. Pack is an awful person. He is an awful shepherd. He is an awful leader. The man's reputation is legendary, going back to when he was a student at Ambassador College in Pasadena. He was a pain even back when he wore Speedos in public.

David C. Pack has spent decades rubbing people the wrong way. And he has only gotten worse.

The closer individuals have been to David C. Pack, the more exponential their trauma is. Is he the man selected to usher in the Kingdom of God? Is he Elijah That Prophet? Is he the Seventh Angel of Revelation? Is he the Goodman of the House? Has he correctly identified the Sixth King? Is he unveiling the Mystery of God before the return of Jesus Christ?

A polite yet firm, "Oh, hell no!"

One unifying question among those who fled is, “How can they continue to stay there and listen to that garbage?” I address this if it comes up over the phone, "But you stayed, and I stayed. Everyone has their personal line in the sand. None of us know what it is until we cross it."

When David C. Pack declared he was Elijah in January 2015, I knew this was terrible news for the church. However, I managed to separate the Pastor General from The Restored Church of God. After all, he was just one man, and the church would be fine.

Then, in December 2015, instead of Jesus Christ being That Prophet, David C. Pack announced Elijah was. Since David C. Pack was Elijah, it meant he was teaching, “I am That Prophet.” He avoided saying that for those two hours, but that is what it meant.

It took me six years to finally leave because I kept partitioning David C. Pack away from The Restored Church of God. He was just the leader. But, RCG was the place where God's Government was active. It was the only organization doing The Work. The gates of the grave cannot prevail against the Grand Garden or Mirror Lake.

The deal-breaker was when David C. Pack began corrupting God. He perverted the roles of the Father and Jesus Christ. I seethed every time Dave uttered the Father was coming first and Jesus Christ “was in the backseat.” Sycophants like Ed Winkfield joyfully regurgitated this filth as impressive knowledge rather than losing sleep over it like I was.

This was a repeat of The Worldwide Church of God apostasy. Except, Dave wisely kept pork off the menu. Once The Restored Church of God threw out the True God and became The Restored Church of Another god, who cares if they still keep the Sabbath?

God has a sense of humor and is a fan of irony. David C. Pack wrote books eviscerating Gerald Flurry of The Philadelphia Church of God and lambasted him in sermons. Yet, Grandpa Dave has become everything he warned us about.

If Joseph W. Tkach had David C. Pack as an advisor rather than an adversary, WCG might still be with us today.

Why do the brethren not leave in droves when dates continue to fail?

They are being manipulated by unrelenting psychological warfare. “The Greatest Unending Story!” Series is a Brainwashing Rainbow. David C. Pack preys upon the fears and hopes of the members. He will sometimes chastise them while other times praise them. It is a highly dysfunctional relationship.

Sampling the five latest messages provides a snapshot of what the brethren of The Restored Church of God are enduring. These are not “the worst of the worst," like when RCG’s young people were told God would have them torn apart by lions within days, but these are the more recent.

Multiply what you read by ten years and see if you can understand why brethren stick.

Part 453 – June 17, 2023

@ 1:30:12 So, this is all faith-building. If your faith didn’t grow as a result of hearing this sermon, then there's something wrong. You should be on fire and excited.

If someone is not excited, the fault is THEIRS. Something is wrong with THEM. It cannot be prophecy fatigue or the simple fact that David C. Pack has never been right.

The Pastor General changes his tune week by week, day by day, and the brethren are expected to live in a state of perpetual excitement. The only people capable of doing that are mentally ill lunatics.

@ 1:30:36 You’re seeing prophecy fulfilled.

This is God’s work they are witnessing, so they better be on board. Doubting Dave means they doubt God.

Part 454 – June 17, 2023

@ 56:55 If this doesn’t happen Monday [June 19], if this doesn't happen Monday unless you don’t believe the Bible, write off Av.

Brethren who disagree with what he teaches do not believe their Bibles. A Bible-believing Christian must accept what David C. Pack teaches since he is chosen to explain it. The bar is set relatively high.

Part 455 – June 21, 2023

@ 19:03 In Daniel 12…I wanna re-ask something. I wanna correct something. The Mystery has got to be ended, and there's something WE got wrong, and I wanna clarify it. WE were close to right. But, WE were misreading a verse and inverted it.

Words are manipulated in The Restored Church of God. “Clarify” is code for change. And there are a lot. “WE” got wrong instead of “I” got it wrong. Blame is a collective effort in RCG. That is one way the brethren actively participate in the process.

@ 1:24:36 Is another week possible? Another message isn't. But is another week possible? Yes. Yes. I can just tell you that unless God violates His word, two more weeks aren't possible.

To doubt David C. Pack is to doubt God, and no faithful Christian would dare do that. The brethren must take his words as true as coming directly from God. Except, they are not even coming sideways from God. Dave can read the verses but cannot rightly divide them. The Spirit of Error drives his conclusions, not the Holy Spirit.

This was spoken on June 21. Over two weeks later, we are still here. Therefore, according to David C. Pack, God violated His word. The man has no fear of throwing God under the bus leaving Him as the fall guy for when things fall short.

When events do not transpire as projected, the brethren should blame God, not Dave.

Pointing out David C. Pack as a lying blasphemer is not an accusation. It is an observable, provable fact of history. If I noted a black panther was in a tree, would that make me racist?

David C. Pack is a lying blasphemer.

Do not trust him. Do not believe him.

For there to be an error, God has to violate His word, and the brethren must disbelieve their Bibles. That is pretty strong stuff to go up against.

Part of the Brainwashing Rainbow is the excuses shrink-wrapped in soft language.

Part 456 – June 24, 2023

@ 09:55 It seems God wants everything straightened out and kinda cleared up that may have been wrong.

It seems—God wants—straightened out—kinda cleared up—may have been wrong.

That one sentence has enough padding to insulate your attic. Errors, false doctrines, uninspired preaching, biblical fraud, deception, presumption, and foolishness. None of those enter the discussion when you are trying to cover up what a colossal waste of time all of this is.

@ 32:35 It’s literally a miraculous thing we’re experiencing. But, it dudn't mean Mr. Pack gets it right every time because it’s incredibly complex even with them [Daniel and Revelation] open.

Prophecy is hard. It is "literally" a miracle, brethren, but expect more mistakes. I am unsure which version of the Bible Dave reads, but I cannot recall any miraculous Whoopsie Daisies in mine.

@ 42:40 It’s never been so clear to me, brethren, what I’m going to explain to you.

Everything is clear until it is not. The brethren are continually reassured that he FINALLY has it all put together, and nothing about this will change. But, then, it does.

The hardline RCG No-Contact policy has been reinforced in the last two years. It was in the background while I attended, but Headquarters has pushed it more while Dave puts the screws to those who leave, labeling them as enemies of God.

This is all part of the Brainwashing Rainbow. Dave warns about how bad people are who leave and how weak they are. Departing from RCG is just an excuse for wanting to sin, being impatient, tired of Bible study, being rebellious and prideful, or the coup de grâce: “They just don’t wanna obey God.”

Part 456 – June 24, 2023

@ 1:26:07 …so [leaving has] been going on for 2,000 years, and many thousands have repented, and many thousands have stayed faithful, and many thousands have sold out, and they're gonna get themselves destroyed.

Brethren, this is a dire warning for you. So, listen up and stay in your seats as This Ole Shepherd exposes his soft side.

@ 1:26:17 If anything makes me sick, it’s thinking about a lot of people that I know who tried to murder this church, and they’ve gotta be destroyed.

Do not murder the church! No, no, no! Your calamity makes Grandpa Dave sick.

@ 1:26:24 If they try to destroy the Temple of God, they have to be destroyed. They blew off Christ. They did despite to the Spirit of Grace. They’re gonna fall into the living hands of God. Not waiting a year to do it. They’re gonna receive vengeance outta the gate.

People leave because they blow off Christ. Brethren need to say in The Restored Church of God if they want to avoid God’s vengeance and dodge being destroyed. Sit down, shut up, and pay your tithes, or this is your fate, people.

@ 1:34:43 One reason I think our growth slowed down to this flat description is you're just not gonna give people a pass for a whole year after they’ve been here for a short period.

The flat growth in RCG is now due to God not having enough time to convert people before Jesus Christ returns this month. Someone remind Dave about the parable of the servants hired at the eleventh hour.

@ 1:36:07 Now, there are people who are blind, and they've lost the Holy Spirit. And the last estate of those people is worst than the first…They're sows that went back to wallow, and dogs went back to the vomit, and they don't really understand what's going on around them… But, if they stuck around, they might have caught fire and realized what they were part of.

I stuck around from July 2012 to March 2021. I was on fire for what I was a part of. But then, David C. Pack changed the terms, perverted doctrine, threw out the True God, preached Another Jesus, stopped preaching the Gospel, stopped doing The Work, and turned himself into That Prophet.

The insatiable desire for porn and bacon did not cause my exit, Dave. Your blasphemy did.

@ 1:36:34 But, instead, they couldn’t just leave, and we could hope they were prodigal sons. They had to try to kill the church. Which became our test, and so, that’s fine.

If the brethren leave The Restored Church of God, they will try to murder the church. Only a person with murder in their heart would want to leave. The Brainwashing Rainbow is very ugly.

One week later, the theme continued. Dave must be thinking about this a lot, even though people are not gushing out the door.

Part 457 – July 1, 2023

@ 04:19 We’re not losing people now. There’s no gush of people out the door at the last minute ‘cause “This went an extra week or three.” There’s nothing like that going on at all. Church is doing just fine.

So incredibly fine they just laid off six people as a cost-cutting measure. This topic is fireless smoke.

@ 04:30 But, we been losing people for several years who have been correctly saying, therefore, “Christ tarried,” and He did. And that’s all it took for them to quit.

@ 05:48 In other words, it becomes encouraging for me to realize God built this Series to go a lot longer than I thought. It's just I wuddn’t gonna leave the church. It was always sort of built-in.

When brethren have concerns about the continuous date-setting that results in embarrassing disappointment, the fingers are not to be pointed at David C. Pack. Just navigate your accusation stick at God.

@ 14:21 So, let’s see if we can [prove] by something God waited deliberately, very carefully, for the very last message and that what I was supposta “make plain” was not WHAT had been covered in 456 messages, but WHEN this is gonna happen. I think now I understand.

Over 800 hours of ever-changing doctrines spread across seven years was always part of God's plan. No responsibility needs to fall upon the shoulders of David C. Pack.

@ 22:26 “In wrath” can mean He has wrath in His heart, but also, remember, God is coming, and He's gonna put the failed saints to death. He’s not exactly happy with saints who beat their fellow servants. We had people beat us regularly. They leave. They can’t just leave, many of ‘em. They hafta turn and beat us. “My Lord tarries. He’s waiting.” And they turn and beat us. Why don’t you just go off and be a Baptist or an atheist? Leave us alone. They don’t. And that makes God angry. In many ways, that lit the fire more than the Sixth King.

@ 1:02:19 Lotta houses are gonna be broken up in the Seventh Era. Lotta houses of people who already left the church and beat their fellow servants are gonna really be broken up. They’re gonna get sudden death.

Resign from The Restored Church of God, and you will receive sudden death by an angry God. That makes for some serious stakes.

Fear wins the day despite the mountain of evidence telling brethren they should flee. This critical element in the Brainwashing Rainbow is why brethren do not leave The Restored Church of God.

They do not stay because the Pastor General exudes outgoing love and concern, teaching God’s truth with wisdom and compassion. They stay because they cannot see a viable alternative. And that is no excuse.

Artificial Intelligence Will Not Listen To Bob Thiel Because It Is Biased Against Him! WTH????

Not only does the entire Church of God movement, this blog, and many others refuse to recognize the Great Bwana Mzungu Thiel as the true church on earth, but now artificial intelligence mocks him too! According to the greatest prophet in human history, AI refuses to accept his word because it is biased against him. Seriously dude! Get a life!

Well, the reality is that AI is biased and also does not accept the word of God as truth as I have proven when I have experimented with it. And, others too, have also seen its biases. AI-enabled humanoid robots cannot properly rule the world–but I believe the Beast will utilize AI-enabled humanoid robots in his deceptive and totalitarian reign.

Sadly, humans are more and more pushing away from the God of the Bible.

Sadly, the current crop of blithering idiots leading Churches of God today are the ones pushing people away from God and the Bible.

Crackpot Prophet Seeks To Divert Attention Away From African Boondoggle To Take A Swipe At Living Church of God…Again...

It has been many years since Rod Meredith publicly rebuked the future Great Bwana to Africa and 100 Caucasians and the very public ongoing rebukes by the entire ministry of the Living Church of God to the demands of Bwana Bob to change church teachings to fit HIS interpretations. The bitterness of that rapid rejection still weighs heavily upon his disturbed mind.

That frustration usually arises after suffering public humiliation over some part of his operation malfunctions, which usually means something happened in his African congregations and/or leadership. With the recent exposés of the appalling happenings in Malawi, Africa, the Great Bwana lashed out again at LCG and others in order to divert attention away from his miserable ongoing failures.

What stirred the indignity of the Great Bwana Mzungu was their new "whiteboard" telecasts and that he believes the Living Church of God is too stupid to know when Christ is returning.

Mzungu writes:

A Canadian sent me the following email last year:

LCG wades deeper into the Laodicean mire…

I think they’re getting even more confused about end-time events, stating that when we see the 1st and 2nd seal opened that Christ’s return is about 3.5 years away. I thought the Great Tribulation marked 3.5 years from Christ’s return and this is reflected in the 5th seal? What about the 3rd and 4th seals? (I say this tongue-in-cheek.) Aside from their confusion on the identity of the man of sin, they’re REALLY not going to know when things are coming to a head…

This video is only about 6 minutes long, so not a huge waste of time but I thought I would let you know some of what they’ve been up to.

I don't know why Bwana Bob and his followers get all upset over prophetic timelines for the return of Christ when they ignore the dude for most of the year after Passover.

What initially frosted Bwana Bob's homeopathic butt was that LCG's new program was professionally done, something he has been totally inept at doing. When no one from LCG joined him when he started his little group he had no access to professional video and production people to guide him. Instead, it is all done in his own home, work office, and a few hotel rooms when he travels. Production values have been nonexistent both in his presentation skills, video sets, and words being spoken. LCG's production skills at least draw interest from the public that Bwana Bob can only dream about.

While I rarely watch videos people suggest, I did watch this one.

The video, itself, is well produced and seems designed to keep modern audiences interested enough to watch it.

At least the production is interesting enough for people to engage with it. When it comes to Bwana Bob's chair bouncing, arm waving, hand flapping, Bible thrusting, and face obscuring gestures, people quickly tune out as they are laughing.

Bwana Mzungu continues with this, which shows his great displeasure:

The problem is that it makes statements and assertions that are in biblical error as well as in contradiction to previous LCG teachings.

The video perpetuates LCG’s error that the False Prophet is the ‘man of sin’. It also somewhat hints that its ‘falling away’ error is valid.

While the whiteboard video cites Jesus’ statement about wars and rumors of wars, related to the beginning of sorrows, it teaches that neither the first nor second seal of Revelation 6 is open yet.

That contradicts what LCG was publishing for years.

This is the point the bitterness that has been eating away at the  Great Bwana for the last 15 years or so manifests itself all over again. Bob=Good - LCG=Bad.

Before proving that, let me state that during the Feast of Tabernacles in October 2009, an odd feeling came over me that pointed to looking to see if the beginning of sorrows may have begun. After researching and finding that events consistent with start of the ride of the 1sthorseman, in November of 2009 I telephoned LCG’s Dr. Roderick C. Meredith and told him. While his church had taught that the beginning of sorrows had not begun prior to that, it taught shortly after that telephone call that the beginning of sorrows had begun.

Bwana Mzungu then goes on to whine about Davey Crocket III, Doug Winnail, Richard Ames, and Rod Meredith ignoring him when he tried to point out their errors.

It just pops Bwana Mzungu's self-righteous cork that the Living Church of God is NOT proclaiming that any of the Four Horsemen of Revelation are currently riding.

Bwana Bob Mzungu's bitterness is so extreme that he has had to find 57 different points on where LCG differed from his misinterpretations.

Then the ever-whining crybaby has to put on his 'martyrdumb' cape and whine that people ignore him:

Instead of checking out the teachings of differences with the Bible, most will instead prefer to listen to false and misleading information about me.

All of course, in LCG and elsewhere, should instead value the truth.

According to Bwana Bob Mzungu all truth solely resides in him and his group. No other Church of God and no little independent group has any of the truth that Bwana Bob Mzungu has.

All of course, in LCG and elsewhere, should instead value the truth.

Notice also:

16 The lazy man is wiser in his own eyes
Than seven men who can answer sensibly. (Proverbs 26:16)

There are more than seven sensible reasons that those in LCG should realize that it does not hold to the truth as it should.

Jesus said:

31 “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:31-32)

The truth is that some time ago, LCG ceased to have the ‘Philadelphia mantle‘ (proper leadership authority for the true and faithful church).

Its prophetic whiteboard is additional proof that it will not know when the Great Tribulation will begin until it will be too late for most to flee and get the protection that Jesus promised the Philadelphian Christians.

Jesus told the Laodicean Christians, who thought that they were fine, to repent (Revelation 3:14-22).
I pray that those in LCG and other Laodicean groups as well as the Laodicean independents, will repent and not simply brush off truths that they do not find convenient.

As much as we rag on the Living Church of God, Doug Winnail, and others here, my hat is off to them that they fully recognize what an absolute liar Bob Thiel is and that there is NOTHING he has to say about prophecy, Biblical interpretation, or church government that are relevant.  Not one single thing!

"To Bob Thiel, there are no issues in Africa. He has the most bizarre and dumb explanations to cover all of African lawlessness,…"

Someone above asked how would (Bob Thiel, I guess) portray me in his cartoon. Well, considering his accusations after my conscience compelled me to leave CCOG, I guess I will be portrayed as someone who released funds so that he can go on to American radios; also, as someone who is a talebearer and a gossiper. He was always so unhappy when I would raise the questions about Africa, and especially about how the CCOG in Africa was governed.

In January of this year he sent me an email in which he said that I should be careful about my attitude to Africa. I responded in a long email telling him that my attitudes to Africa have nothing racist there, but that I have been raising concerns about Africa for years. In my concerns I quoted lies of certain ministers, as well as the involvement of CCOG main person in the elections in Kenya, his proselytizing Muslim boys by taking them as orphans to work on his farm, of his main man taking one of his sons to the Kenyan military, of local churches supposedly being CCOG, when in fact on their sings it was written "Church of God 7th Day Jerusalem" and so on. So, in that long email I repeated all my concerns about African CCOG ministry. Meanwhile, Terry Nelson provided me with various proofs of all the wrongdoings in Africa that he investigated!

And let now be clear. The small amount of money I was allotted monthly from CCOG for my service cannot compare with the amount of money Bob Thiel sent to Africa. And my issues were not the amounts he sent, but how that money was being squandered and that he was lied that such money was used to help all the poor members there. Besides, he would have had enough money for presence on American radio stations if he did not send so much money to Africa to allow those people there to build their local churches. As far as talebearing and gossip, I was shocked that Bob Thiel would not take into consideration testimonies of children and the testimony showed here by lady Priscilla, ex-wife of Radson Mulozowa, "the minister in good standing". One of the lies that Evans Ochieng uses in Africa is that Priscilla was cheating on her husband and that Terry Nelson tried to break her marriage to Radson. That detestable lie has never been addressed, just as usually nothing is addressed when it comes to Africa. To Bob Thiel, there are no issues in Africa. He has the most bizzare and dumb explanations to cover all of African lawlessness, while his African minions keep flattering him and go to great lengths to express to him their unwavering loyalty. Million times I asked Bob Thiel if he is aware of how much of Bible truths those people understand, but I never had any answer. And yet, there are rumors that some CCOG members don`t even know what Holy Days are kept by CCOG, and this does not exclude the top men of CCOG in Africa.

Does the Church of God Really Obey God's law?

Do the ACOGs really obey God's Law?

Among the followers of Herbert Armstrong's teachings, the twenty-third chapter of Leviticus is critical. According to them, not only does their observance of the commandments outlined in this chapter distinguish them from traditional Christians, it also distinguishes them from other Sabbatarian Christians (like Seventh Day Adventists, Seventh Day Baptists, and the Church(es) of God Seventh Day). For them, these festivals not only provide the perfect contrast to the "pagan" holidays of Easter, Halloween and Christmas; they also stand or fall with Sabbath observance!

For the sake of argument, let's assume for a moment that Christians are obligated to observe these festivals - that the ACOG's theology is sound on this point. Are their observances and arguments consistent with what is revealed in the Hebrew Scriptures? Let's take a closer look.

In the twenty-third chapter of Leviticus, NINE festivals are outlined: the weekly Sabbath, Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits, Feast of Weeks, Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement, Feast of Booths, and the Eighth Day. In connection with the annual festivals, it should be noted that there were specific rituals, sacrifices, and offerings associated with each one of them. Again, for the sake of argument, for the moment, we will ignore the instructions about sacrifices and offerings (even the ACOGs acknowledge that Christ's sacrifice makes those no longer necessary).

We are, nevertheless, left with a number of undeniable discrepancies between ACOG observances and what is outlined in this passage. For example, in all of the years that I was associated with them, I don't remember ANY specific observances related to Firstfruits. To be fair, an occasional sermon would mention the fact that Christ was our wave sheaf offering, but there was no specific observance associated with that festival. They would even read aloud the passage: "And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land that I give you and reap its harvest, you shall bring the sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest, and he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, so that you may be accepted. On the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it. And on the day when you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a male lamb a year old without blemish as a burnt offering to the Lord. And the grain offering with it shall be two tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, a food offering to the Lord with a pleasing aroma, and the drink offering with it shall be of wine, a fourth of a hin. And you shall eat neither bread nor grain parched or fresh until this same day, until you have brought the offering of your God: it is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings." (Leviticus 23:9;14, ESV) Now, I suppose we could say that Firstfruits/wave sheaf was symbolic and pointed to Christ - a shadow of the reality found in him; but isn't that the very argument which other Christians use to "do away with" all of these festivals?

In similar fashion, the Feast of Trumpets was to be "proclaimed with blast of trumpets" (verse 24). Now, I do remember a couple of occasions when a trumpet was employed in the singing of "God Speaks to Us" on this feast day, but I don't recall this as having been a formal or regular part of the worship service. And, as far as this festival being celebrated as a "memorial" (same verse), most of the sermons and literature which I remember being associated with this day focused on the second coming of Jesus Christ. If my memory is faulty on this point, I'm confident that someone will correct me!

In terms of the Feast of Booths, we read: "And you shall take on the first day the fruit of splendid trees, branches of palm trees and boughs of leafy trees and willows of the brook, and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God seven days. You shall celebrate it as a feast to the Lord for seven days in the year. It is a statute forever throughout your generations; you shall celebrate it in the seventh month. You shall dwell in booths for seven days. All native Israelites shall dwell in booths, that your generations may know that I made the people of Israel dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God." (Verses 40-43) I don't remember any of this being associated with the "Feast of Tabernacles" celebrated by the ACOGs (at least, not the ones with which I was associated). Indeed, instead of temporary shelters constructed by the celebrants, most of us had reservations in very permanent hotels and campgrounds - a temporary stay!

We could, of course, talk in some detail about the ACOG's flawed understanding of the symbolism associated with these festivals. After all, the ACOGs claimed that the meaning of these days was an important part of observing them! We could talk about how the Day of Atonement pointed to Jesus, NOT Satan the Devil. We could also talk about Jesus Christ and humankind tabernacling in the flesh, and Christ's sermon on the "Last Great Day," but we will focus instead on the physical observance of these days by the ACOGs.

In this connection, another favorite passage of the ACOGs comes immediately to mind - the sixteenth chapter of Deuteronomy. Of course, within that culture, the principal role of this passage was to enjoin the membership to cough up generous offerings on each of the Holy Days! Even so, this passage conveys a number of other imperatives which those folks conveniently ignored.

For example, although ACOG folks were scrupulous about removing all leavening from their dwellings, they completely ignored the passages related to the ONLY acceptable place for the observance of these days. In that chapter in Deuteronomy, we read: "You may not offer the Passover sacrifice within any of your towns that the Lord your God is giving you, but at the place that the Lord your God will choose, to make his name dwell in it, there you shall offer the Passover sacrifice, in the evening at sunset, at the time you came out of Egypt." (Verses 5-6) Likewise, in connection with the Feast of Weeks, we read: "And you shall rejoice before the Lord your God, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant, the Levite who is within your towns, the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow who are among you, at the place that the Lord your God will choose, to make his name dwell there." (Verse 11) In similar fashion, with regard to the Feast of Booths, we read: " For seven days you shall keep the feast to the Lord your God at the place that the Lord will choose, because the Lord your God will bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands, so that you will be altogether joyful." (Verse 15)

Notice that ALL three of these festivals were to be observed "at the place the Lord your God will choose." Moreover, so that there wouldn't be any room for misunderstanding of God's intent in this regard, the passage concludes with: "Three times a year all your males shall appear before the Lord your God at the place that he will choose: at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, at the Feast of Weeks, and at the Feast of Booths. They shall not appear before the Lord empty-handed. Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord your God that he has given you." (Verses 16-17) In other words, Torah mandated THREE pilgrimage festivals - where the Israelites were required to come to JERUSALEM to properly observe these festivals! After all, any serious student of the Hebrew Bible understands that JERUSALEM is the ONLY place which God ever chose for His name to permanently rest. Moreover, students of the New Testament understand that Christ and his apostles ALWAYS celebrated the festivals at Jerusalem! Also, doesn't Zechariah suggest that JERUSALEM is where the Feast of Booths will be observed in the Millenium? (Zechariah 14:16-19)

What has been the practice of the ACOGs in this regard? The Worldwide Church of God and most of its successors have designated various "feast sites" around the world where their members gathered to observe the Feast of Tabernacles. On the other hand, Passover and the Feast of Weeks were usually observed locally - within the various congregations of the Church. Now, having personally been to many of these sites, I can attest to the fact that places like Wisconsin Dells, Jekyll Island, Saratoga Springs, Biloxi, Pensacola, Johnson City, Myrtle Beach, etc. are very nice vacation spots. They are, however, NOT JERUSALEM! Also, are the ACOGs suggesting that the choices of a "Festival Coordinator" (or church administrator) reflect God's choice? And, what about the Scriptural designation of the other two festivals (Passover and Weeks) as pilgrimage festivals? Finally, if the "offerings" on these occasions were binding on members, why weren't the other offerings designated for those days still binding on them?

What about ACOG justifications for their divergence from these plain Torah instructions? A favorite of theirs is found in Christ's instructions to his disciples recorded in the eighteenth chapter of the Gospel of Matthew. We read there: "Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them." (Verses 18-20) Let's ignore the fact that these remarks were delivered within the context of dealing with disagreements among Christ's disciples within the Church (verses 15-17). If this passage justifies ACOG practices regarding the festivals, why can't it be employed by traditional Christians to justify their observances of Sunday, Christmas, and Easter? Let's not forget, too, that this passage was used to justify their observance of Pentecost on Monday for many years! What's that old saying? "What's good for the goose is good for the gander!"

Now, while this post does not disprove that Christians are obligated to observe the festivals (that's a subject for another post), it does demonstrate that ACOG observance of those festivals is NOT in line with Torah instructions regarding them! Hence, the answer to our original question: "Do the ACOGs really obey God's Law?" has to be answered with a resounding NO!

Dave Pack: Running out of gas...

Outta Gas

Pastor General David C. Pack of The Restored Church of God is out of gas. Not only is he running on prophetic fumes, he must be huffing them. His Jerusalem Syndrome hallucinations keep his head spinning with perpetual compulsive date-setting while his mouth tries to keep up.

Headquarters must be "going green" trying to save the environment because there is serious recycling in Wadsworth. The failed dates for the return of Jesus Christ in 2022 have become the exact failed dates for the return of Jesus Christ in 2023.

During “The Greatest Unending Story! (Part 457)” on July 1, 2023, David C. Pack spent 85 minutes convincing the All-Believing Zealots that Jesus Christ would return on Tammuz 15.

Tammuz 15 began at sunset on Monday, July 3. The explosions you heard were just early fireworks.

If 2023 is a repeat of 2022, keep an eye out for these upcoming dates:

Tammuz 20 – Starting at sunset on Saturday, July 8

Av 1 – Starting at sunset on Tuesday, July 18

David C. Pack's latest messages putter and sputter as he coasts downhill, reading the same verses over and over and over again as if the material was new. He is just plain boring. Except for a few instances.

To properly frame Part 457, enjoy the end of Part 456.

Part 456 – June 24, 2023

@ 1:43:05 I need to give more messages, more often turned on WHEN not WHAT. Oh, I’m never gonna do that again. If I speak after vacation, expect more WHAT and nothing about WHEN. Gabriel would hafta tell me what to say. I can’t imagine anything else.

Part 457 – July 1, 2023

@ 01:34 I said last time if I speak again, it will be about the WHAT, not the WHEN. Well, little did I know how that would be opposite to true. I have no WHAT that God is gonna do to talk about at all. It’s strictly the WHEN. Again, absolutely nothing changes from this picture.

With six people, including Ken and Tim, going off payroll, that must have left room to bring Gabriel on as a consultant. This is classic David C. Pack proving to all the brethren he is not a man of his word, nor should anything he says be taken seriously.

By his own admission, he speaks “opposite to true.” When it comes to Grandpa Dave, I have operated in Opposite Land for a long time. If he says, he will NEVER, be guaranteed he will. If he promises he WILL, rest assured he will find a way out of it. If what he teaches is IMPOSSIBLE to argue with, he will argue with it until his ears turn red. If what he teaches is impossible to MISUNDERSTAND, he will later admit he spoke without enough knowledge.

The brethren of The Restored Church of God are given every opportunity to see who and what their Pastor General is, yet they still choose to sit and accept him. To their shame.

@ 04:19 We’re not losing people now. There’s no gush of people out the door at the last minute ‘cause “This went an extra week or three.” There’s nothing like that going on at all. Church is doing just fine. But, we been losing people for several years who have been correctly saying, therefore, Christ tarried, and He did, and that's all it took for them to quit.

Eventually, there are no more righteous left in Sodom. Perhaps the folks with an ounce of sense and strength have already departed.

@ 05:48 In other words, it becomes encouraging for me to realize God built this Series to go a lot longer than I thought. It's just I wuddn't gonna leave the church. It was always sort of built-in.

God is always why the endless Series drags on, and Dave loves using Him as Blame Armor. Careful, boss. Careful.

Elijah-Elect searches the Scriptures to continually find new ways to give himself comfort. The peace, peace never lasts long. With good reason.

@ 11:01 First, I thought it was Tammuz 1 (June 20). Well, this is Tammuz 12. That was wrong. It had to be a Gold Standard, something precise and absolute. I mean, a smoking gun. But, again, what would it be? And I wanna repeat, I think I finally know.

Maybe less thinking and more vacationing on vacation next time, Dave.

Sshh. Do not interrupt him. Yes, we know this already failed miserably, but let the guy get it off his chest and prove to the brethren how much he THINKS he knows.

@ 11:21 And I'm gonna show you what I learned. I got close to this on Tuesday, and being away on vacation was wonderfully helpful. I had a lot of time to think. And I had figured out by Tuesday afternoon (evening, really.) Tuesday evening, really, I had figured out exactly what God was telling us per when it cannot tarry any longer.

@ 14:06 …and so, my sole point today is timing. Timing.

So, his sole point for taking up the entirety of Sabbath Services on July 1 was a waste of time. A waste of his time during his vacation. A waste of the brethren's time at Headquarters. And a waste of time for anyone in The Restored Church of God who listens to this dreck.

@ 14:21 So, let’s see if we can by something God waited deliberately, very carefully, for the very last message, and that what I was supposta "make plain" was not WHAT had been covered in 456 messages, but WHEN this is gonna happen. I think now I understand. I've run it by three good men in great detail, and they saw it, "Wow. There it is." And you never hafta leave Habakkuk.

Those men will nod their heads and widen their eyes no matter what Dave tells them. He could lay out the loudest, most detailed, and most nuanced fart in RCG history with the heater on and the windows rolled up, and they would fain amazement.

The lot of them at Headquarters are worthless hirelings. Shame on you compromised cowards.

@ 42:33 Literally, what you can do is just close the Bible and say, “I know when this is gonna be.” …I wanna lock this down so you can see how all the verses fit. Monday night, not Sabbath night (tonight), Monday night is the “midst of the years.”

@ 45:24 So, Monday night is the only time, the only night, Monday night, Jerusalem time, which it’d be, you know, fairly early in the day Monday to us… It’s the only time it can be. Or God said something different than what we can we would understand. Anybody think He did that? Would He do that?

@ 47:01 So, this is either Monday night, or it's two years out.

David C. Pack will never ever ever ever wait two years for anything. He will not wait one year. He cannot even stand to shut his mouth for one month. Part 458 was recorded today. How much do you want to bet he found a pathway to keep pushing the goalpost?

If what Dave says next is true, then what he describes is direct evidence of dark spiritual influence. A more secular-based mind would point to mental illness. Whether it is demonic or psychotic in nature, the result is the same.

@ 1:15:50 …if you say he [Ezekiel] ate the book on the 5th [Tammuz]…I wonder, is it possible? …Within five minutes of Tammuz 5 beginning in Jerusalem, a whole series of things came exploding into my mind…about Revelation (many of which I covered last week), and by about 24 hours later, I had my message completed, and I can talk to my staff, and we were ready to go, and you heard [Part] 456. Now that’s more important to meand it may or be not be lost on you. But I’m gonna tell you when Revelation came clear…that led us to understand, "Whoa, that's when the foolish and wise virgins are waiting for the Bridegroom. Whoa, certain saints are gonna get killed. Whoa, we're gonna enter the joy of the Lord.” All of that came clear almost exactly on the 24 hours of Tammuz 5.

Dave's brain has an open-door policy with demonic visitors. Wicked entities are allowed to visit Elijah That Prophet, to leave their excrement between his ears. And he is grateful for it.

Inspired false knowledge is not from God. Whether the culprit is Obsessive Compulsive Disorder or Legion, the victims of this are the members of The Restored Church of God. They are trapped in a lie they cannot escape because they have no clear alternative.

They are repeating the error of those who stayed in The Worldwide Church of God after the apostasy until it became Grace Communion International. The Restored Church of God has become The Restored Church of Another god.

Their false prophet, false teacher, preaches a false god who tells them this:

@ 1:24:56 But, there’s no way we’re here next week. Never mind, the mystery of all a this is over. I hafta be “about to sound.”

David C. Pack has run out of gas. He is out of new material and is forced to keep recycling the same ideas and the same Hebrew dates over and over again. The hirelings at Headquarters let him do it. The apathetic, lethargic brethren let him do it.

@ 1:25:20 So, I’m just telling you what the Bible says. We reached that time. We reached that time…A little before one o’clock our time here [July 3]. And everybody can calculate around the world with the idea that "Yeah, it could go twelve more hours,” I guess. Maybe. I don’t know. There could. They’re competing commentaries. With that, we’re done. Godspeed this moment. Come, Lord Jesus, as John said.

Don't Swallow Bob Thiel's Shallow Stories About Africa

Dr. Bobby Thiel is sadly being used as a pawn of Major Muzungu Suckerbility, as It's now been reported that Radson Mulozowa has sought out the best WitchDoctor in Mozambique and has specifically had him place Mind Zombie spells on Dr. Thiel to render him a complete Fool believing lies and outright fairy tales. But of course, even carnal people in the world can figure this out, which means Bobby Thiel is really being sadly used by Satan and his Minions. We believe at Hope of Israel Worldwide Church of God, that this is so, as some of the excuses Dr Bobby believes are truly disturbing and out of touch with reality.

Some Examples are provided as follows:

Radson Mulozowa's new Wife or Mistress. Dr. Thiel Believes Radson Mulozowa's excuse that this is just a cousin..... Really Kissing Cousins 🤣.

You people be the judge, also you must realize Priscilla, Radsons ex-wife, and all his children testified to Radsons Adultery. Bobby Thiel never mentioned that big revelation though

Also, Bobby Thiel believes Bradox Ouma Ocheing never ran in the 2022 election in Kenya as Bradox and Evans state someone put Bradoxs name on the Ballot and framed him, so the gullible Bobby Thiel or should I say mind cursed Bobby Thiel believes this Bull.

So really seriously folks, can you really believe someone that's that blind or willingly ignorant, go ahead if you want to be a big Muzungu.
