For those who may know them:
Kyle Gilchrist
· We received the shocking news tonight that Kyle died in a gun accident. He was so careful with guns that we find it inexplicable, but it doesn't change the reality. We are struggling with the loss of our son so please excuse using an email to share the news.· The Gilchrist family thanks all of you for your prayers, love & concern. As my husband has often said, this changes nothing insofar as the Truth, our Purpose, our Calling, & our hope in God’s soon coming Kingdom. Our dearly loved son, Kyle, is asleep in Christ, awaiting the resurrection, & we look forward to being the first ones there to welcome him back. Please understand that we’re struggling with the shock & reality of losing our son, so we may not be able to take every phone call, or answer every email. We’re deeply touched & comforted by your love & prayers. Thank you from all of us.
Wayne Pyle
FYI, if you haven't heard Wayne Pyle is now in hospice. He might have a couple of weeks. Not eating anything because the cancer is in his stomach and digestive tract. So, it appears he is in the final stages of his battle with cancer.

Aw, hate to hear that about Wayne as he was a personal friend and roomate long ago. Very very sincere guy who could violate the idea of being too enthusiastic and happy too early in the morning. lol. good man.
Could someone give us a history of these guys. Who are they? Were they "ministers"? If so...who cares?
unflippin' believable comment SK
For those who say….“who cares? “

One measure of our likeness to Christ is our sensitivity to the suffering of others.
Oh Steven, Steven....I will be changing my schedule and paying you a visit very soon.

Steve:
You must be a cold hearted SOB.
Did you expect 'pats on the back' for spouting this evil?
You couldn't get any lower.
I knew Wayne 30 years ago and can only echo what Dennis said. My sympathy to his family.
Differences in beliefs should be of no consequence at this point. These are human beings, and people close to them are hurting. Prayer for their families would be a great idea. I don't usually ask this, but WWJD?

MY COMMENT: What makes you think I'm looking for "pats on the back"? I think it's kinda hypocritical to "boo hoo" about these guys when no one on here batted an eye when HWA or Teddy bit the dust, and we continue to bad mouth them to this day. I didn't hear any "boo hooing" over the "minister" that Terry Ratzman murdered either, just justification about why he did it. Like I said, if these guys were lying, thieving, parasitic hirelings who ruined many people's lives, then who cares? Good riddance!
Steve, in a way, I get what you are saying. There were no good Nazis. Quite frankly, I've always found it astonishing the miniscule number of ACOG ministers who repented and signed the Ministerial Apology Page over at the Painful Truth website.
But, what about compassion? How do we allow room for people to find redemption? What I've found is that there are certain types of people in our lives that you more or less have to hold on permanent probation. If they begin to demonstrate symptoms from their past pathology, you call them on it, and if they don't correct it, you have no alternative but to write them off.
Some are frozen in their pathology throughout their entire lifetime, never wavering. Those are the ones who are difficult to deal with, to forgive, or to feel compassion for. Forgiveness gets rid of some of the negative energy
in our lives. It doesn't mean you forget the statement, "Fool me once......."

I wasn't going to dignify your ignorant comments with a reply but I will simply say that Kyle was a nice kid, 27-years old with lots of life left and a wonderful family that loves him.. I doubt God will judge him in quite the same way that you seems to judge others (risky business by the way).
It just so happens that Kyle was present (I believe) that fateful day when Terry Ratzman murdered 7- people in Milwaukee. I hope that God has the same patient forgiveness with you as he has with him.
What a bunch of hypocrites on this site? If we say Armstrong, Weinland, or Pack will roast in hell, we're not judging, but if we say "who cares" about some other "minister", I'm "judging"?? Go figure! Was Kyle a "minister"? If not, then I'm not talking about him. So, why are you getting your bowels in an uproar, and ACTING so "righteous"?
Steve,
I don't want to see anyone burn in hell, as much as I hate what some have done. I would enjoy watching HWA polish the Pope's sandals, though.
I didn't know Kyle. Sounds like he might have been a fellow enthusiast regarding our Second Amendment rights, and it's tragic that his life was taken by this accident.
Although I'm not Wayne's judge and jury, the way he ran the apartments which he and his wife managed back in the late 1970s, and the newspaper accounts of his role in the events surrounding receivership tend to paint him as being a typical AC version of the Niedermeyer character in Animal House. But, that stuff is repairable, and forgivable in the KoG.

Steve,
you are one sick, bitter, perverted excuse for a human being.
May God be kinder to you than you are to others, but He also says that with the measure you judge YOU will be judged.
But you obviously don't relate.
I pity you.
@ Karma Fairy - while you are visiting Steve, please be sure not to mistake him for the ex-Worldwide Church of God member Steve L. Kissack at 206 Glen Haven Dr, League City, TX 77573. That one is clearly a different Steve because he and his wife Linda loved Herbert Armstrong and were always very kind and respectful to the dignitaries. Just kindly pass them by please.
It was not a "gun accident". Kyle committed suicide. The police report is available online. Just google "kyle gilchrist death texas" (without the quotes). Easy enough to find.
Just for the record, there were 2 witnesses there when Kyle died. They both stated that it was a stupid accident, though the circumstances of said accident certainly appeared as suicide and it would've been assumed suicide had there not be 2 people who witnessed it.
