LCG: Oh Noes! Time Is Short! Again...There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth

Members and co-workers, time is short.
By that I do not mean that next year, or the year after,
will begin the three-and-a-half year period the Bible calls
the Great Tribulation and the Day of the Lord,
but stage-setting troubles can and will come at any moment.

Oh, Noes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is always a pleasant surprise to see Gerald Weston speak about uplifting things instead of war, disease, famine, and widespread death and destruction.

Oh, wait! Wrong article.

Never fear though, you can write for a free booklet on British Israelism and then feel all warm and comfy as you know that by joining the one true church your salvation is assured. Eternal life...here we come!!!

Dear members and co-workers, those who have eyes to see can recognize that world events, as outlined in Scripture, have sped up dramatically. Many troubles—too many to list here—are converging during this most dangerous time in mankind’s history. Israel’s government has been severely divided for several years. The United States left behind billions of dollars in military hardware in its disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal and is dramatically depleting military supplies over the war in Ukraine. Many question the cognitive state of the president and wonder who is really in charge calling the shots. On the other side of the political aisle, Kevin McCarthy was ousted from his position as Speaker of the House of Representatives—a first in the nation’s history—effectively putting all business on hold during this critical time until a new Speaker can be elected. It appears that if anything can go wrong, it will.

Referring again to my “2023 in Bible Prophecy” telecast, recorded in November 2022, I stated: “Yes, when you think it can’t get any worse, 2023 may once again prove that notion wrong. The United States, Britain, Australia, Canada, and other British-descended peoples are on a downward spiral, and unless we turn back to God—and we see no evidence of that—no elected leader will save us. We will have ups and downs, but the trend will continue down.”

Members and co-workers, time is short. By that I do not mean that next year, or the year after, will begin the three-and-a-half year period the Bible calls the Great Tribulation and the Day of the Lord, but stage-setting troubles can and will come at any moment. The time of Jacob’s trouble (see our booklet The United States and Great Britain in Prophecy) could descend on us sooner than we might expect. However, God gives us fair warning: “But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 24:48-51).

Nevertheless, let us never forget these words of Jesus Christ: “By your patience possess your souls” (Luke 21:19). Nor, let us fail to remember these encouraging words: “Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near” (v. 28).
Yes, there is good news. Christ will return to stop our insanity (Matthew 24:21-22). He will set up a world-ruling kingdom, and He will be “King over all the earth” (Zechariah 14:9). Nations will “beat their swords into plowshares” (Isaiah 2:2-4). And there will be a lasting peace under His rule when adversarial nations will work together in harmony (Isaiah 19:24-25).

Thank you, dear members and co-workers, for all your support in this Work of the living God. Life on this earth is short, but there is a reward for those who put God first in their lives, and that reward is eternal life. That is the reward that truly matters.
Sincerely, in Christ’s service,
Gerald E. Weston

Four Yahovah's and Thousands of Lesser God's

Christianity has been infected with heretics from its earliest days and Armstrongism is right there in the midst of that madness. No one in the history of Christianity has ever publicly said that Church of God leaders are theologically well-trained and grounded in Paterology and Christology. No one!

Check out this gibberish from Wade Cox, the other Great Bwana to Africa, Islam, and a few Caucasians in Arkansas about the four Yahovahs and Jesus being an actual physical son of the Eloah (the Father) who is subservient to him and the elevated one of thousands.

Wade got his self-righteous Christo/Islamic undies in a huge knot over a sermon by Frank Nelty in 1994.

It is true that Yahovah is a name used for multiple sons of God and Genesis 18 and 19 refers to four Yahovahs at the same time. One stayed with Abraham and two went to Lot at Sodom and then they called fire down from the Yahovah in Heaven. This is explained in the paper The Angel of YHVH (No. 024).

Thus the language of the text can admit of a subordinate Yahovah of Israel; however, if the wording of the First Commandment were to apply to Christ or another Yahovah it is direct idolatry and the Sin of Satan.

Such a view comes from the false assertion that the God of the OT was Jesus Christ which is the false theology of Armstrong running directly against the OT texts. Were the claim to be made that the Yahovah here refers to Christ and not to God as Ha Elohim then we are faced with the fact that this text, being singular, makes Christ demand that he is the object of worship in Israel and not the One True God.

The text linguistically cannot refer to two beings, although the claim that they were two beings as one is obviously the false premise on which they rely. The real understanding of the OT is clouded by the error of Armstrong being perpetuated by his advocates blindly accepting the false assertion and building on it as we see here. We have no doubt that Armstrong himself would have censured this view re the First Commandment referring to Christ.

As was also pointed out here, the point should be obvious to anyone that if those were the commandments of Christ, then worshipping the Father would be a transgression because we would be worshipping the Father in the place of Christ. It's absurd. When we read Ezra chapters 4-7 we see that the Temple belonged to The Deity (SHD #433 EloahhEloah), and the laws were those of The Deity, and in John 17:3 Christ called this Deity the One True God. Christ also identified this Deity as his God in John 20:17 and as such this would make this God Christ's Creator and it makes Christ a subordinate elohim who acts at the behest of his Creator. So those laws can only be the laws of God the Father and that would also explain why the First Century Church considered Christ the Great Angel of the OT who gave the law to Moses, as the Bible states.

Our God is Christ's God. We only have One True God. We serve Him, as does Christ.

This insidious heresy of two true Gods and the lie that the Father is not mentioned in the OT has been spread by these people to the extent that we see that one or two COG people in Africa have been approached via the Internet by one or two other ex-WCG people, seemingly in South Africa, who are trying to advance the possibility that the First Commandment applies to Christ. Fortunately it is being rejected as utter heresy by those of whom we are aware.

The Bible is quite clear that there is One True God and that God is identified in the OT as the Father and creator and His name is Eloah, and he has a physical son. Proverbs 30:4 directly challenges anyone who thinks he has understanding of the texts to declare the name of the Father and the name of his Son. The text then proceeds to identify Him by name as Eloah which is a singular name that admits of no plurality and it refers to the Father only. Understanding this name of God is the test of understanding in the Holy Spirit.  Ditheists or Binitarians fail this test. They deny or misrepresent its application.

A little later this is this absurdity:

He is the Most High (Eleyon or Elyon) and there can be only one Most High by definition and the logic of language. He divided the nations according to the number of the sons of God (Deut. 32:8 RSV and DSS). He gave Yahovah's portion to be the Children of Israel. Thus Elyon and Yahovah, as God and son of God, are set in place here in the Torah where Yahovah of Israel is one of the sons of God and Eloah is set as the creator. For this reason the MT was forged in this text in the post-Temple period and that is why the KJV is false.

Job mentions Eloah in 45 places. The redeemer is listed as one of the Thousand and is not Eloah in Job (Job 33:23).

As you can see, Wade Cox is not the brightest bulb in the package.

Christ has partners or comrades in association with him that shared in his position and above whom he was appointed or anointed. The absolute requirement of this position logically is that he cannot have always been above them. He was one of them until he was anointed above them.

The asshattery just gets worse and worse:

What is it then that sets Christ apart from the other sons of God in the Angelic Host? The answer is that he was elevated above the other sons of God from his resurrection from the dead and his appointment as High Priest of the Host after the order of Melchisedek. We will all become elohim (Jn. 10:34-35) and be equal to the Angels (SGD 2465 i.e. SGD 2470 + SGD 32 equal or like an angel) (Lk. 20:36; Mat. 22:30; Mk. 12:25) who are also elohim by definition and as sons of God and the Council of the elohim of the OT texts. Christ will confess us before these angels of God (Lk. 12:8). They are referred to as sons of God in numerous places in the OT and we as sons of God will be as elohim as stated in both the OT and NT. They are sent with Christ to the earth at his return (Mat. 13:41; 25:31). Christ confesses us before them in order that we may be accepted among them as elohim.

Are We Accusers OR Critics?

Are We Accusers OR Critics?

Lonnie Hendrix

NO2HWA posted a perceptive article (We Would Rather Be Offended By A Picture of Jesus Than Ever Actually Following Him) about the hypocritical nature of Armstrongist attitudes toward artistic depictions of Jesus Christ. In the comment thread which followed that post, one of the anonymous commentators observed that Armstrongists have always had a jolly time making fun of the beliefs and practices of other “Christians.” The comment grabbed my attention because I had recently posted an article on my blog (The Things That Armstrongists Can Say, BUT Others Cannot) which made much the same point.

One thing, however, that the commentator said really made me stop and think. He/She wrote: “People who come here to this blog from the ACOGs wonder why we have to bash HWA and his church and the ministers. The truth is, we are just turning the bashing they taught us around, and throwing it back at them. We are doing unto them what they have done to others.” Now, while I understand and support the contention that “what’s good for the goose is good for the gander,” I don’t believe that we should accept the Armstrongist notion that we are “attacking” them, or that we have made ourselves “Accusers of the brethren.”

When we accuse someone of wrongdoing, it is generally understood that we are charging them with the wrongdoing – support for the accusation may or may not necessarily follow. Likewise, an attack usually denotes taking some kind of aggressive or violent action against someone, and it is understood that it can be further characterized as having been provoked or unprovoked, justified or unwarranted, etc.. Hence, we see that charging or accusing someone is NOT synonymous with “attacking” someone (an accusation or charge can be leveled against someone with great solemnity and process – we do it all the time in courtrooms across the world).

As far as Scripture is concerned, the passage which Armstrongists like to wield like a club is found in Revelation where “the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, <the one> who accuses them day and night before our God.” (Revelation 12:10) We should have known that this one wouldn’t escape their notice because it immediately follows their favorite passage about Satan deceiving the whole world (which, of course, excludes them). Likewise, in the book of Job, Satan is portrayed as accusing Job before God and urging God to remove his blessings and protection from poor Job. Interestingly, Scripture also portrays Jesus Christ as our Advocate with God – defending us against all accusations (I John 2:1-2). Hence, we see that Scripture sets up this contrast between Satan (Accuser) trying to hurt/destroy, and Jesus Christ (Advocate) working to help/save.

Nevertheless, the Gospels also portray someone who was highly critical of the Jewish religious leaders of his day. Indeed, he is portrayed in all four of those accounts as someone who was NOT bashful about criticizing both hypocritical behavior and teachings. In this connection, it should also be noted that Christ’s criticism often appears blunt and harsh (as in the episode with the money changers at the Temple). Even so, Christ’s criticisms were always directed at correcting error, eliciting compassion and empathy for others, and effecting reconciliation and forgiveness. In other words, the criticism always had a positive purpose behind it – it was never meant to tear down or destroy.

Finally, we should also note that Christ taught his disciples to “turn the other cheek” when they were unfairly attacked by their enemies (Matthew 5:39), and to be quick to forgive offenses in each other (Matthew 18:15-22 and Luke 17:3). He also warned anyone who would offend one of his “little ones.” (Matthew 18:6, Mark 9:42, and Luke 17:2) However, the clear implication in both of these instances is that the offense is real, not imagined. In this context, we should also note that the first epistle of Peter informs us that we should “not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing. For ‘Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit; let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it.” (I Peter 3:9-11)

Hence, we begin to see the difference between the accusations and criticisms which Mr. Armstrong and his followers have hurled at traditional Christians, and the ones leveled here against Armstrongism and its proponents. The criticism of Armstrong and his disciples that one finds here on Banned by HWA is focused on heretical teachings (those which depart from or contradict the teachings of Jesus Christ and his apostles), and the harmful policies and behaviors of the Apostle(s) and his/their ministers and followers. Moreover, most of the criticism which appears here is motivated by a desire to improve teachings and behaviors, NOT to destroy faith or assassinate character. Yes, the criticism here is often biting and pointed (as was the case with Christ’s criticism of the behavior and teachings of the Scribes, Sadducees, and Pharisees), but it is intended to initiate reflection and bring about repentance/change.

So, rather than screaming “ATTACK” and “PERSECUTION,” it might be more constructive to review the evidence provided in the post for the criticism and evaluate whether it might have some merit. Unfortunately, we have only had a few of the leaders of the ACOGs over the years who have acknowledged the legitimacy of some of the criticisms here and/or asked for forgiveness for past offenses – that has been very rare and precious. Moreover, currently, in the wider culture, we see that the trend is NEVER to acknowledge wrongdoing or ask for forgiveness. Indeed, those things are now anathema in some quarters! Nevertheless, when it is received in the right spirit, criticism can be a very constructive/positive thing.

UPDATED: He Already Said It!—What On Earth Are You Waiting For?

He Already Said It!—What On Earth Are You Waiting For?

By Scott Steel

October 19, 2023

[This article has been updated.]

The reward for willing passengers was to be life-changing. After 6000 long lost years, the Mystery of God was now revealed, and its fulfillment was just a few calendar days away for the many who “gave all.”

To his credit, Pastor General David C. Pack of The Restored Church of God (RCG) has been a conveyer of energy. Like a wizard, he has created the modern Church of God (COG) experience using the magic of obscure artisan finesse. The sacred extension of his personality utilizes technical virtuosity to instill a grand transference of savage spiritedness to conjure wild sanctimony.

Because something is keeping 1300 people in RCG’s seats. If not this, then what?

Beginning of the End

Looking back ten years ago, RCG members had no expectation that hidden biblical mysteries needed to be defined, interpreted, clarified, and templatized. No one I knew expected the books of Haggai, Zechariah, Daniel, Ezekiel, Malachi, or Revelation to be unsealed, re-opened, and revealed. It would have been mind-blowing for early RCG members to think all this had to transpire just before the expected arrival of the Kingdom of God.

Prudent and zealous RCG brethren were striving to become like little children ready to enter the Kingdom of God. Such simple and pure thinkers were in no way ready for a wild man to drive an enormous prophetic bulldozer, laying waste to the theological landscape of their minds. There was no worry about what was about to occur nor any expectations for the sheer number of endless hours it would entail. We had a self-proclaimed apostle flush with millions of dollars of the membership’s “Common” money who just built the National Garden Club’s acclaimed gem: the World Headquarters Campus. There would be nothing that could stop the WORK of this magnitude. Even if it were told unto you, you would scarcely believe it.

During this time, Dave Pack completely controlled the high ground of the RCG. The “best” men out in the field churches were brought into the sphere of Headquarters to further strengthen and solidify the leverage of the narrative. For the lay members who were seeing the physical growth of the church from all vantage points, it was easy to obey the ministerial requirement to regard and wonder marvelously!

But note that the gospel became known as the Mystery of the Kingdom of God and was open to interpretation. This event-laden narrative was initially titled "The Greatest Story Never Told!” which began in November 2015. Who doesn't like a good story, especially if "WE" are winners in the end? At that time, the Mystery of God was not in the discussion yet, as the starting focus was the Third Temple. We soon realized we were sitting on a roller coaster as our “apostle” laid the course and was the author of our exit strategy.

In Part 51, the series title was changed to "The Greatest Untold Story!" after Headquarters accountant Kory North informed the ministry they had been using the title of a pro-Nazi documentary about the life of Adolf Hitler.

History Repeats Itself

Jesus Christ and His relation to the gospel has long been the fighting stance for the Christian world to vilify Herbert W. Armstrong (HWA) and the Worldwide Church of God (WCG). Herbert Armstrong believed that Jesus Christ was just a messenger delivering a message about the Kingdom of God, which constituted the gospel. The majority of Christianity believed that the gospel was a message ABOUT Jesus Christ.

This would ultimately spark the ignition of the fire that decimated the Worldwide Church of God. Central to the scattering of 90,000 minds into all directions away from WCG was what Joseph W. Tkach, his son, and "high-ranking ministers" changed as a core teaching: who and what God is.

It is pretty simple to extract from the prayer of “thy Kingdom come” that the Kingdom will be an event and a destination with a King. Dave Pack would come to laugh at such simple thinking. That is why he has spent the last ten years solving the Kingdom of God puzzle with simple math, simple history, and simple Bible misinterpretation. He has presented to his church that prophecy is an experience of “cascade learning” and that perceived failures are part of the process leading to truth.

According to Dave, that learning process in which he solves the mysteries of the Kingdom and knowing when its arrival is scheduled constitutes first redefining the descriptive nature of God the Father and Jesus Christ. This is David C. Pack's updated and expanded “God Is…” doctrine.

Why have ministers and leaders of the Churches of God (COG) throughout history put God through an open reinterpretation to define just who and what He is before the lay member can obtain any understanding of the gospel or the gifts of God?

I can confirm the testimony of many of my fellow brethren. The true God healed us, sometimes, many times over. The God we have healed some of our children and miraculously protected them. The God we have mercifully called us out of a condemned world to Himself. The God we have turned the car about to hit us at 60 mph intangible to spare us from certain death.

Through these interactions alone, we understand entirely the nature and identity of God and His gifts. Did we need yet another man to come along and alter our thinking about our God and “improve” upon Him? Why must we accept Dave Pack’s revised and expanded god?

The Restored Church of Another god

A visibly unwell Dave Pack delivered “The Greatest Untold Story! (Part 470)” on September 23, 2023. The stakes have never been higher as he succumbed to his unstoppable urge and insatiable desire to “rush to call out and make plain” the simple understanding of God in the very last days.

Dave’s contagious sickness was no obstacle to his presentation of “knowledge” about all the newly discovered attributes of God. If the membership had been paying attention, they would have realized they were witnessing not only a cascade of learning but also an avalanche of moments when Jesus Christ was removed from the Holy Scriptures, and a suitable replacement was inserted.

That replacement by divine selection was none other than David Crowl Pack.

Dave insisted this was a necessary transplantation. Jesus Christ could not be "That Prophet" and speak in the Lord's name. So, Dave Pack had to assume that role and title. Jesus Christ couldn't be the Branch of Jesse and have righteousness as the girdle of His loins or faithfulness as the girdle of His reigns. Jesus Christ also could not sit on His throne or bear the glory because it would not fit Dave’s timing. So, Dave Pack had to assume that role and title. A man would have to do all these things. Jesus Christ is not a man, and to suggest so insults Him.

Part 465 – September 2, 2023

@ 52:56 The last man to sit on David’s throne was named David, but he was a servant and he was a man. Christ was neither.

Since Dave Pack is named David, the Bible must be talking about him because no other options are possible. For decades, WCG members thought they were learning about Jesus Christ when they were actually learning about Dave Pack.

As exrcg.org has meticulously recorded, Dave Pack has usurped many titles for himself. Elijah, That Prophet, the Branch, Shepherd, and Stone of Israel, Star of Jacob, the Messenger of the Covenant, Lawgiver, Son of Man, the Seventh Messenger, and Goodman of the House. Those are only a few. Dave Pack recently confessed how many titles he found for himself in the Bible. Do not be tricked by his use of third-person pronouns. He is talking about himself.

Part 470 – September 3, 2023

@ 17:40 He is a man called a servant and various other things, and he's Elijah. Lot of different terms for him. I wrote up thirty-four of them…

Jesus Christ is being systematically replaced with Dave Pack. This is the reality in RCG. The Kingdom of God could "never, never, never" be understood until Dave’s status, titles, and involvement in God's plan were adequately understood.

In the context of removing Jesus Christ from the Bible and putting himself in, Dave Pack admitted, “This journey was extraordinary, historically prophetic, and amazing all rolled into one.” What a brave statement to a, hopefully not utterly blind audience.

The Trinitarian

Dave Pack was still not done redefining God. He has already corrupted the Christology of Jesus and the nature of God the Father, but brace yourself for what else is to come.

He said the WCG made two big errors: to increase Christ by calling Him the "God of the Old Testament" and then decrease Him by having him do things only “a man” would do. How does this affect the Godhead?

Since the Mystery of God was being finalized "at the very end," which is critical for understanding the Kingdom of God, Dave found it necessary to chide the long-deceased Joseph W. Tkach for introducing the concept that Jesus Christ was all through the Bible. That false teaching slayed the understanding of the membership by introducing one being in the Old Testament.

According to Dave, this is woefully incorrect. There are three Beings spoken of in the Old Testament. Yes, Dave Pack just established that he has become part of a rudimentary trinity.

The Father is The Lord of Hosts.

Jesus Christ is the Captain of the Host.

David C. Pack is the Branch, the Stone of Israel, the Star of Jacob, the Lawgiver, the Messenger of the Covenant, Joshua the High Priest, plus 28 more.

Dave Pack cannot possibly be making himself equal with God. Or could he? There is no way Dave Pack just introduced a new trinitarian godhead to RCG. Or did he?

The Biggest Elijah

More recently in the Series, Dave Pack has established that God and Jesus Christ will be gigantic when they eventually come to earth in a later Kingdom. Think of a grown man holding a globe kind of big. And they have invisible wings.

One of the thirty-four titles Dave holds is "one like the son of man" of Revelation 14:14. Dave Pack is sitting on a cloud holding a sickle and reaping the earth. As Elijah, he will be big. Toweringly big.

After making such a strong point about “a man” needing to fulfill all the roles that “reduce” Jesus Christ, he then teaches things that "a man" cannot do. This begs the question: "Why can't Jesus Christ do this? If God has to give a man incredible power, why would His Son not have that power to do it?"

Part 470 – September 23, 2023

@ 11:42 The seventh messenger is on a cloud, and he has a sickle in his hand.

@ 12:07 The one who’s on the sickle is giant. It’s Elijah. We talked about he’s riding a cloud. So, how big’s the sickle? I’m sure it is not a dot in his palm, and he trying to figure out how to get a hold of it. So, if you see a giant sword or a giant sickle in your mind, all of those going back to nine days ago, help us understand the size of Godwhich is the greatest part of the Mystery of God.

Pause for a moment.

The size of God is tied directly to a vivid picture of Dave Pack on a cloud. In order to see God properly, you must see Dave Pack properly, and the greatest part of the Mystery of God is now becoming clear.

The whole theological playing field was just upended. There has been a subtle introduction of godly characterizations of Dave Pack, making him a necessary pathway to God. It is time to call this for what it is. David C. Pack, in all his physically enormous highness and self-importance, just walked himself right into the “god trap." It's a "trinitarian god trap,” at that.

He just offered the most insidious bait and switch ever perpetrated. He stealthily presented himself as a lowly human who is co-servant to God and then, as quick as flipping a light switch, grandly elevated himself to an actual GOD BEING co-joined to the Father and Jesus Christ. This was the intended “learning” point for his congregation to picture in their minds: a massive, winged, sickle-laden biblically titled God of Grandeur, savior of Israel and Judah and the world!

Despicable, schismatic, ragingly heretical, and blatantly blasphemous!

In Place of Christ

Many over the years have wondered if it was only a matter of time before Dave Pack would claim he was God. As abhorrent as this is, acting in the role of destroyer, Dave Pack has cut down Jesus Christ to the ground just so that he could stand and tower over Him.

Dave removes Jesus Christ from pages of the Bible to severely reduce Him, and then takes all the glory and righteousness for himself. It is Dave’s only option for increasing himself to the ultimate position.

Part 470 – September 23, 2023

@ 13:23 Now, Christ can reduce Himself to be come back as “this same Jesus you saw.” He’ll just be a normal-sized person…but He comes back as “this same Jesus.” I don’t know. Six-foot man, whatever He is.

The picture of a gigantic Dave Pack on a cloud and a “six-foot man” Jesus Christ perfectly illustrates his thinking.

The RCG Dilemma

There are certainly questions for current RCG members to consider. Has the reward for your long-suffering and patience "at the very end" been truly "life-changing?" What have you gained? Or should it be asked, what have you lost?

It has been said everyone is waiting for something. Dave Pack has made it crystal clear that the wait for the revelation of the Mystery of God is now over. Dave Pack’s self-inclusive astonishing trinitarian God has been established as concrete doctrine. The Mystery of God now ended, the Kingdom of God is now supposedly understood. But what is the reward for the patient, longsuffering RCG member in the Kingdom of God? Dave Pack definitively and succinctly revealed and made plain the ultimate reward of the RCG membership.

Part 468 – September 9, 2023
@ 19:24 You will not be sitting in Jerusalem. Elijah will because of his overall roll. But, you will be a king in a place far away.

@ 20:12 …but you won’t all be sitting in, you know, in the Branch’s court. You be 10,000 miles away.

The Devil doesn’t want any “saints” living in his presence either!

It is time to ask: Are you invested so far in your leader's theological exegesis that your mind can only see a giant, winged, mighty man towering as a powerful reaper of the earth in the image of god? Are you at peace with the one you call Jesus Christ, an inconsequential "in the background" figure with the world-known Dave Pack as the visible frontman? Are you okay with an invisible Jesus Christ working behind the scenes in a dark room in the Temple of God for precisely 360 days? Are you filled with excitement that this new trinitarian doctrine grossly disagrees with long-standing WCG understanding because holding fast to “old understanding” would deny you your ultimate reward?

Members of The Restored Church of God, what will it take for you to act?

The trail of evidentiary facts are right before your eyes. The biblical warnings of the apostles have come to fruition. Peter, Paul, and Jesus Christ’s words have never been more true for the time now. An unrelenting assault is taking place to capture your minds and to pervert your thinking.

The theological determination of David C. Pack should not only be frightening, it should be inconceivably terrifying when you consider where he is heading. What else could be added to expose what just transpired and has became a reality in the highest seat of the Restored Church of God?

Part 470 – September 23, 2023

@ 17:27 …because if you looked through and you believe all of that, there's one Being, where, in fact, there's three. One's the Lord of Hosts. One the other one said, “My Father's greater than I.” He’s the Captain of the Host. And the other was way down the line. He is a man called a servant and various other things, and he's Elijah.Lot of different terms for him. I wrote up 34 of them…

David C. Pack has committed the most sacrilegious, blasphemous offense against what we know as God that has been seen in our time. He reduced Jesus Christ God (who said, “I and my Father are one”) to the visual dust of the earth and made himself a "most high God" in the Kingdom of God.

The good and gracious Jesus Christ said all blasphemies and heresies will be forgiven except for one. That is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ did the miracles of God by the power of the Holy Spirit and was falsely accused of doing that work by the spirit of Beelzebub—the prince of demons. That is the unpardonable sin of blaspheming the Holy Spirit.

In 2013, David C. Pack said, “I’m not getting this [new understanding] from the voice of God or the voice of an angel or in a dream. I’m getting it from the Holy Spirit, which is the Spirit of Truth!"

Blaspheming the Holy Spirit is a two-way street. If a man cunningly does the work of Beelzebub and calls it the work of the Holy Spirit, that is unquestionably blaspheming the Holy Spirit. It doesn’t get any more serious than this, and it is happening right before our eyes and ears. The blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is disguised as ending God's Mystery.

For the RCG brethren, reality is now. There can be no hope of fully understanding the Kingdom of God when you lose sight of who and what the true God is. Discerning the difference between a false Jesus and the true Jesus Christ is of the utmost importance. Do you recognize which master you serve?

Embracing a man with his self-conceived God standing, resplendent visage, unchallenged authority, and kingdom preeminence has its own reward. When you adopt his doctrines, you adopt the fruits thereof. Please see this as an earnest warning and recognize it is not too late to turn your thinking around and anoint your eyes to accept what you already know.

David C. Pack does not teach the truth. He does not teach a true God anymore and is poisoning the sheep instead of feeding them. Anyone who chooses to continue on his path will be partakers in his reward. And I fear for such people.

Crackpot Blowhard Prophet Is Now The New Indiana Jones Of The COG

Why is it that the Church of God, Armstrongist movement, is filled with so many self-appointed blowhards who think they have a divine right set before them to do miraculous things, like discover the lost Ark of the Covenant?

Gerald Flurry thinks it is his divine right to discover it. He is so sure it is in Hill Tara in Ireland and that's one of the reasons he bought an estate in England in order to be closer to Ireland when they think God and Ireland are going to allow them to dig it up. This was supposed to happen about the same time that Scotland was going to give Flurry the Stone of Scone. Then, realizing how incredibly STUPID this idea was, he went to Oregon and dug up an old rock and proclaimed it the new Coronation Stone that his creature is coming back to be crowned king of kings. The sheer stupidity in the Church of God is endless!

Frustrated that all the good ideas have already been taken up by other COG leaders, the Great Bwana Mzungu of Africa decided that he is better than all the other COG leaders and that HE and HE ALONE will be sent to restore the Ark of the Covenant to its rightful place in Armstrongism where it will be placed respectfully higher than Jesus and worshiped and adored. After all, it has the law inside (supposedly) and the law reigns supreme in Armstrongism as the great savior of humanity. Jesus be damnd! Give me that old law, like my grandpappy had, and his grandpappy, and his grandpappy.

One of the more ludicrous things the Great Bwana Mzungu believes is that God has been channeling dreams to himself and a few of his psychotic associates. Those dreams always involve the Great Bwana Mzungu doing amazing things that even God is surprised at.

Here is the official crackpot prophet of the Church of God, Armstrongist movement telling us about the dreams he has had about the Ark of the Covenant. The bullshit is deep in this...especially how some. oand Rabbi walks up to the Greatest COG prophet in human history and invites him to helo find the ark.

Back in October 2013, while attempting to take some photos and to video some of the remains of the Church of God on Jerusalem’s Western Hill, I was approached by a Jewish rabbi named Avraham Goldstein of the Diaspora Yeshiva. He asked why I was there, so I explained it. He then asked me if the Continuing Church of God would like to be involved in an archaeological project related to that general area. He mentioned doing excavations related to what some believe is David’s tomb, located below. Many consider that only a legend and not the real location–though the actual location of David’s tomb has not been verified in many centuries. However a Jewish rabbi who claimed to visit it in 1163 A.D. stated it was below this particular Mt. Zion.

Avraham Goldstein also believes that the ark of the covenant may be directly below or near it via tunnels. He offered to take me below in the tunnels on my next visit to Jerusalem. I told him that I was interested, but I have not been to Israel since. Yet, I expect to go again within the next several years.

The Great Bwana continues:

The following is an interview from a narrator named Joseph (J below) and the Jewish rabbi Gerald Goldstein of the Mount Zion Foundation (RGbelow).

RG: We are standing on the roof of King David’s Tomb. Look around you at the view. You can understand why David wanted to take out this fortress before attacking Jerusalem itself…Samuel 2…Scripture is also very clear about where Kind David brought the Holy Ark of the Covenant. It says here in chapter 6 that he brought the Ark of the Covenant up to the City of David, that is the fortress of Zion…here to this very place… MOUNT ZION, dancing all in a very ecstatic and wonderful way…

J: So this place really is Mt Zion!

RG: Well there is a real established tradition, first recorded in writing by a student of the Ramban over 800 years ago, which says exactly this. Prior to the building of the Temple, Mt Zion… this very Mt Zion where we are standing…is where the Ark of the Covenant and the Divine presence resided. (Glick N. The Authenticity of Mt Zion and King David’s Tomb. 2010 יום שני, 2 באוגוסט. http://rabbinathanglick.blogspot.com/2010/08/authenticity-of-mt-zion-and-king-davids.html viewed 11/17/13)

If the ark of the covenant is now below the Church of God on Jerusalem’s Western Hill, known as Mt. Zion, that would have ramifications for the world as well as the Continuing Church of God.

Now enter some more crazies into the picture. The Prince of the Power of Air has been broadcasting around the world and found fertile ground in the imagination of some devotees of the Great Bwana Mzungu.

Unbeknownst to me until late September 2013, a woman named Fesilafai Fiso Leaana of New Zealand had a dream after going to bed on December 8, 2012. Here is a report that Fesilafai Fiso Leaana wrote about her dream:

A few months before my dream, my husband and I noticed a contradiction in practice, regarding the sabbath commandment in LCG, from there we started to pray continuously for God to lead us to where the truth is. It seems God has answered our prayers through the dream.

The dream began with myself and approximately 70 New Zealand Living Church of God brethren, then suddenly LCG vanished (I was wondering where is LCG?) and I was left standing with approximately 10 people excluding myself, on a very high building. We were standing on the very top of the building, where I couldn’t see the bottom, there were no other buildings, just this building. I could not see the bottom of the building but just clouds below the building and clouds surrounding the building which led to a beautiful white mountain – a mountain that had no ends on either side. The building was pretty close to the mountain, I could see the top of the mountain. The mountain was all white and so beautiful. I remember that I began to be filled with joy and peace. But also wondering how we got up on this building and confused why there were no other buildings but the clouds seemed like it was hiding the building and I felt protected or it felt like a safe place. I looked around there were still only about ten people there, the only person I could clearly recognize was Shirley constantly working, the approximate ten others were just sitting and standing around. So I walked around the building looking for the large crowd from LCG, but all I kept returning to was that Shirley was working and doing different types of work alone while the others were still sitting and standing around the building with me. I wondered why she was working a lot. I could not find LCG.

Someone needs to find out what edibles this woman was eating! Holy crap!

Then suddenly a message came to my mind: “There is a secret in the mountain”. And I was so happy to know that, I was still feeling elated and could still see the beautiful white mountain and wondered about the secret. Then I asked: “What is the secret?” Then the message said, nobody knows the secret in the mountain but only you have received this message that there is a secret in the mountain. Then I asked ‘what is the secret in the mountain?’ I received a message to my mind that told me that “the secret in the mountain is the Ark of the Covenant”. Then the dream abruptly ended because I woke up. And immediately, I woke up my husband and recounted the dream to him, and I told my husband that it reminded me of when God gave Moses the Ten Commandments on the mountain and that the mountain was also covered with clouds.

Within several weeks of the dream, ten people in New Zealand, including Shirley Gestro (the Shirley above) began to attend the newly formed Continuing Church of God. For more information about Fesilafai Fiso Leaana’s see Temple Institute claims about the ‘Foundation Stone’ not truly scriptural and differ from Continuing Church of God beliefs and Dreams, the Bible, and the Continuing Church of God.

Biblically, mountains can symbolize government (Psalm 30:7; Isaiah 11:9; Daniel 2:35; Zechariah 4:7) and white purity or cleanness (Isaiah 1:18; Revelation 7:14, 19:14). Clouds around a mountain (or at least the top of it) could show a separation—maybe a separation that keeps many from seeing all of the truth (cf. Job 22:14; Lamentations 3:44) or recognizing top leadership?

The dream seemed to be a signal to confirm that the Philadelphia mantle was not with the Living Church of God, but instead was associated with someone that that had something to do with the ark of the covenant.

In the Spring and Fall of 2013 (which is before I learned of Fesilafai Fiso Leaana’s dream), a couple of different people emailed me and asked if the Continuing Church of God might possibly be involved in actually finding it–and those two people knew nothing about the dream that Fesilafai Fiso Leaana of New Zealand had related to the Continuing Church of God when they originally asked me about it as it was not reported publicly until November 2013. We may have future involvement on this ark matter.

Two COG Blowhards Battling For The Soul Of Africa

We have all been witnessing the hilarious antics of the Great Bwana to Africa, Bob Mzungu Thiel over the last few years as he tries to encourage various church-hopping Sabbatarian groups to join his one true church. He has been "translating" certain of his books into as many languages as possible in what he claims is reaching the entire world so that's can usher in the end times.

His numbers are shrinking after continuing controversy in Africa involving adultery, witchcraft, money laundering, and other misdeeds.

On Monday, we received another 29 translations of our English language booklet The Gospel of the Kingdom of God – the number of languages we have our Gospel booklet in continues to grow as we take steps aligning with prophecies such as shown in Matthew 24:14 and Revelation 7:9.

While here, we received another 27 translations of our English booklet, The Gospel of the Kingdom of God,  as we continue to work towards Matthew 24:14.

This week we received twenty-seven more translations of our English language booklet The Gospel of the Kingdom of God. We have received over 700 translations and the number continues to rise almost every week. Let us all rejoice (cf. Romans 15:10) in that and not be “weary in well doing” (2 Thessalonians 3:13) as we  continue to take steps to prepare for the short work (Romans 9:28; see Preparing for the ‘Short Work’ and The Famine of the Word) as well as to assist with the fulfillment of various prophecies such as are shown in Matthew 24:14 and Revelation 7:9. Throughout the entire church age (which began at Pentecost in Acts 2 and which ends after Jesus returns with the seventh and last trumpet), no Church of God group has ever translated information on the good news of the Kingdom of God in anything close to the number of languages and dialects that we in the Continuing Church of God have had done.

As for Bwana Bob's actual church membership numbers in Africa, he has never been straightforward about it.

Contrast that with another Church of God blowhard named Wade Cox. This buffoon claimed a few years ago that half the entire continent of Africa were now members of his cult. His words are about as credible as Great Bwana Bob Mzungu Thiel's words. It is a sad state of affairs that you cannot even trust COG leaders anymore, to tell the truth. Men, at least those who claim to be men, that should be setting the example of virtue and righteousness. Sadly these two qualities have been missing in the Church of God for decades.

Wade writes about his greatness:

Hi we have received another request for a consortium of 64 churches to join us this week as well as many smaller groups.

This was my general letter to the coords involved.
Dear Kandongo Joseph Ezekiel,
We are very pleased to hear from you and your request for induction to CCG.
Please have everyone study A1 and A2.
I have cced this to all national coordinators in the area. Joash Okiny Hamisi is TZ coordinator and he will arrange for your induction there. Jack Owuor will assist him as is necessary for your induction. We will locate you with local churches there and in other nations. Bizimana Bosco our East and Central African project officer in Uganda will contact you and arrange for inductions also. Habimana Pascal is coordinator for Burundi, Jean Ramazani in Rwanda and Mudimba Muhindo Lene is in the Congo with Jean Paul Nyonzima. George Onyango is Coordinator for Kenya and we are in the process of inducting another large church group in these countries that joined us last month and others.
It seems that we will have well over 40 churches in western TZ and Joash will talk with you about organising the west.
I would like reports from all Coordinators on the churches in their national areas and to arrange for their induction. Send Joseph your contact details also.
Warren and Sosten please arrange for the Zambia inductions with the others and advise me. (Warren is Coordinator for South Africa and Sosten is Coordinator for Malawi. Shungu is Coordinator for Zimbabwe).
Just for information this makes over 110 churches in two months before Passover of the Sabbath Year. Perhaps we have over 10,000 added to us in two months. How many baptisms and ordinations before Passover is anyone’s guess.
Wade

Church of God groups, like Christian missionaries, have for decades sought to bring the white man's version of God to people they consider savages or at least uneducated. They saw fertile ground to impose Western values upon these converts, or in the Church of God's case, impose innumerable COG versions of what each one deemed as true.

These two Church of God groups are currently the biggest deceivers of the brethren in Africa right now. Neither one should be trusted as neither one actually follows the Jesus they both claim to follow.
