Ellen G. White taught that Christians must qualify for the kingdom by building the mind of God, while HWA muddied the waters on this point. He taught that his members need to grow to qualify for eternal life, while also teaching 'beware of pulling yourself up by your boot straps' and 'God will fight you battles for you'. Like a politician, he advocated contradictions to be all things to all people.

Read yesterday this line on Thiel's website......"A demonically-influenced leader pushed doctrines that many the apostates have accepted "......and for a nanosecond thought Bob had come to his senses and was referring to HWA. But no, he was touting some Gregory living centuries ago.

The fear that was promoted was that a certain nation would come and get you, instead of watching out for Satan the adversary that would scatter the flock. I got it, HWA saw WWI and WWII and looked at nations rise throughout the twentieth century. But it ended up an inside job scattering the flock.

Some SDA preachers today still strongly emphasize Ellen White's writings, practically as secondary scriptures.

Others never mention her at all. It's all-Bible for them.

Like some COG's, in that way.
