"You assist an evil system most effectively by obeying its orders and decrees.
An evil system never deserves such allegiance. Allegiance to it means partaking of the evil.
A good person will resist an evil system with his or her whole soul.

"During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.

"The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.

"The shepherd always tries to persuade the sheep that their interests and his own are the same.

Reading furnishes the mind only with materials of knowledge;
it is thinking that makes what we read ours.

Thinking is a bit uncomfortable, but you'll get used to it.
A matter of time and practice.

lol, good one.
And as you think for yourself and start asking your Church leaders lots and lots of questions, have a plan B for when , in the Splits, Splinters and Slivers, (Like RCG), you get dis-membered.
Galileo Galilei quotes
“I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use.”
“All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered; the point is to discover them.”
“You cannot teach a man anything; you can only help him discover it in himself.”
“The Sun, with all the planets revolving around it, and depending on it, can still ripen a bunch of grapes as though it had nothing else in the Universe to do.”
“I have never met a man so ignorant that I couldn't learn something from him.”
“Doubt is the father of invention.”
“Where the senses fail us, reason must step in.”
“The Bible shows the way to go to heaven, not the way the heavens go”
“Infinities and indivisibles transcend our finite understanding, the former on account of their magnitude, the latter because of their smallness; Imagine what they are when combined.”
“And who can doubt that it will lead to the worst disorders when minds created free by God are compelled to submit slavishly to an outside will? When we are told to deny our senses and subject them to the whim of others? When people devoid of whatsoever competence are made judges over experts and are granted authority to treat them as they please? These are the novelties which are apt to bring about the ruin of commonwealths and the subversion of the state.”
“By denying scientific principles, one may maintain any paradox.”
The bible tells us not to rebuke a fool. Asking leaders 'lets and lots of questions', will get one verbally slapped down, and even verbally torn down. That's what mafia-man church leaders do. Stay away from these fools folks. Ignore the armchair critics who tell you otherwise.
Ask them how a person, a person from the flock, is to think for themselves?
wait for it......

And why do church leaders not want their members to think for themselves? Because they do not want members to ask the question of why some members are masters, like the ministers and their bootlickers, and why are the others slaves. Rather, shouldn't everyone have a right to life, and relate to one another as traders. Under Gods moral code, there are no masters or slaves.

The guru is always right.
"Although your minds OK, try thinking more if just for your own sake."
(George Harrison, 1965 - Think for Yourself, Beatles Rubber Soul LP).
Actually, it's "Although your minds opaque". Even more appropriate.
When I was a kid, I thought Mick Jagger was singing....
"I don't want to be your pizza burning,"
instead of ?
was i the only one?
3.54 PM. Yes, you were the only one.
I don't want to be your beast of burden :(
No problems understanding beast of burden.
However, my younger brother thought Jim Morrison was singing "goin' to the Lake of Fire" rather than "Come on baby light my fire!" That sort of misinterpretation could only happen to young kids growing up in Armstrongism.

Back in the day, the 80's, me and my 'bad-influence' friends from my family's chosen cult at that time, took some insane risks by secretly watching "friday night videos" and getting audio cassettes from the library and ozzy was always the most fun to play around with. We thought we were relatively safe by doing this in a pop-up camper nearer to the woods than the house. We would do imitations of Ozzy in various situations and even have 2 or 3-way ozzie arguements. One weekend, an uncle of one of my friends unexpectedly stopped by to give his nephew some message or whatever. As he was walking towards the camper, he overheard our Ozzy crap. So, he lingered outside to listen in on us. He thought he had caught us drinking and flung the camper door wide open. After the initual shock and some awkward silence, he demanded to know what was goimg on. So, we told him we were making fun of catholics. He bought it and told us that it was okay then.
