David C. Pack has more knowledge than Herbert W. Armstrong because Herbert W. Armstrong was wrong about some stuff.

Ha ha ha ho ho ho,

Thanks for the laughs, we all need cheering up at times and the comments section on Banned is often a great source for that.

Hi TC. We've been waiting for you. So, how did the great Mr. Pack do yesterday? Was somebody a no-show.....AGAIN?? Who could have seen that coming? Oh, wait..I know who could have seen that coming-HWA. You would have thought Davie would have learned from HWA's mistake, but not ole Dave. If at first you don't succeed, lie, lie again!

So we have more knowledge than David C. Pack because David C. Pack was wrong about some stuff.

And we have been wrong about some stuff too. Where is this meant to lead?

I am beginning to worry. Yet another no-show. What the hell is going on? Will somebody please tell me what is going on. If I'm not mistaken, wasn't Sermon part number 372 supposed to come out today. All this praying for him to be wrong has me on edge. And why the hell do we have to pray that he is wrong. He is ALWAYS WRONG, so why do we have to pray for it? This is not making sense, but,is it supposed to? More anxiety. And what about the math. I keep thinking about the math. Can't get it out of my mind. I try to get some sleep but can't get the images of Dave sitting at that table. And what about those visor things? The only relief I get is having comfort that the horses are ok and being fed.

Holding fast to the old apostle's mistakes instead of accepting the new apostle's new understanding makes someone a tear among the wheat

"...makes someone a tear among the wheat"

Good grief! You have to be the stupidest person alive right now.

Anonymous said...

That's TARE, not tear....among the wheat.

Well, someone's finally gone and made me do it! All this mention of "horses"! I just went to you tube and listened to all 9 minutes plus of Patty Smith's "Horses", a work of which I first became aware because it was part of the music on an apocalyptic episode of the old TV show "Millennium". Funny how that works. Apocalyptic episode, apocalyptic cult. I think we should make Patty Smith's "Horses" the Dave Pack prophecy theme song!

Herbert W. Armstrong was wrong about some stuff and I'm not afraid to admit that he was wrong about some stuff.

Just because a clown claims to be an apostle, doesn't in fact make them one. Lot of mental illness out there.

Mr. Pack is the Elijah to come, which means he can't die before Christ returns.

Anonymous said...

Mr. Pack has NEWLY REVEALED KNOWLEDGE that Mr. Armstrong NEVER HAD or COULD'VE EVEN KNOWN he COULD'VE HAD. Do you UNDERSTAND what I'm telling you?

Anonymous said...

@9:45> Raca! Thou fool!

Tell "Mr." Pack that he needs to refill. He's a quart low on bullsh%t.

Anonymous said...

Dave, its good to know that you visit and post to this blog, but your constant attempts to defend yourself like mr. Pack is Elijah and all that crap is so transparent. Give it up Dave, try selling cars. And wile your at it, sell the horses!

Anonymous said...

Newly revealed knowledge, ha ha ha . More guano! Give it up Davie boy, your done.

Anonymous said...

Well its Tuesday morning and i haven't heard a thing. Why the silence from Wadsworth? I was told that the math was perfect and that Monday was the day all would be revealed. Why all this silence? I have been praying Dave would be wrong as instructed but nothing. I an concerned. I would appreciate any news. Thanks.

Davie, get Mr Armstrong out of your mind. You are obsessed with him. Nobody cares that he really didn't like you. After he talked to you he would say: "Why does that man keep bothering me?" Your constant comparison with him is tiring. Try a new career Dave. Lets face it, your not a very good prophet.

RSK said...

I understand that his prediction record is a big fat 0. Three shepherds, for example...

Anonymous said...

In addition to being totally obsessed with HWA he seems to be filled with something called Guano.

Anonymous said...

What a joke. "Newly revealed knowledge" that is always wrong, that hasn't happened and never will happen. Do you understand what I'm telling you Dave? Get a new career.

Anonymous said...

"Mr. Pack is the Elijah to come" ... Only in the mind of Davie C Packster. "Mr Packster has newly revealed knowledge". LOL Knowledge that is always inaccurate, false, and wrong. Dave, do you understand what I'm telling you?

Anonymous said...

Somehow those two motorcycle helmets in front of Dave have something to do with all this prophesy stuff. I just know it.

Anonymous said...

Now I understand some kind of motorcycle gang is involved in this. What the hell is going on?

1975

I think I was more concerned about 1964, the date on the Time Machine (1960, Rod Taylo) when an atomic war started. I think it was also the year of the end in On The Beach.

Mr. Pack's NEWLY REVEALED TRUTH is BETTER THAN the MISTAKES of Mr. Armstrong. (Like Mr. Armstrong claiming he was Elijah when Mr. Pack is actually Elijah)

Sometimes I just have to let through comments like the one above just for entertainment value and also to continue to expose how absurd Armstrongism has become.

If those are motorcycle windshields, they are the small ones from cafe racer style bikes, which are not typically gang bikes. However, they look more like the Covid shields that people used either instead of KN95 masks or in addition to them. They are too big for helmet face shields.

Herb's greatest crime was living to such an old age.

According to the Trinity theory, Herb, Pack, and Flurry are all the Elijah.

It’s strange how Pack just continues on down a false path. I attended school with his sons and they came across as arrogant. I just thought, “preacher’s kids” and kinda dismissed their attitudes. But, in looking back and now knowing about their father, I feel for them.
It’s my understanding that both sons are doing alright now but estranged from their father. Pack’s daughter is also estranged from him.
So, Davie Pack continues on a path of continued estrangement from his kids, from reality/truth, and perhaps even from God.
He has his house, his horses, and his second wife; but, he’s given up everything else it seems. If he wasn’t hurting so many people, I’d be more saddened for him, but frankly the lives of many would improve if he left the scene.

1:50, the flawed philosophy of Armstrongism has damaged the souls of everyone whoever participated in it. Dave Pack is a tragic example of how it even ruins the soul of an individual who actually embraced it and held on to it for his entire life. The offspring of addicts and alcoholics often need to separate themselves from their relatives who practice their addictions and in so doing, make them their codependents. It is a wonderful thing that the Pack children and grandchildren have been able to break the codependent relationship with Dave. It's kind of a disfellowshipment in reverse.

Sorry for coming off that way. Wont even deny it was real. That arrogance probably had more to do with a general disdain even anger related to virtually everything and everybody at that college than some inherent flaw I think? It never crossed my mind to pursue baptism for even a split second at any point before during or after the college experience. Going there and believing none of it and barely even attending church at all except while forced during basketball season it was hard to fit in? There just wasnt a recipe you could use for success socially there if you didnt care about the theology. The entire time youre just trying to figure out where the safe places are you know? There were a few people I trusted and thats pretty much what my experience was. Those folks and basketball for 3 years and once I left that was it. I was done.

No question some of the DNA was passed on as well. I will never not deny that. Thats inevitable. But much larger was the effect all those men in that organization had. Not just DCP. The anger and insecurity I held onto was crazy how deep it went. Like it makes me tremble looking back. I was reckless and searching for anything I could possibly find in the years right after I left to "catch up" to the world whatever that means but I think you can appreciate where Im coming from with that. Luckily that time didnt last very long for me but damn I paid a price for that way of thinking and acting too.

In the end and on the bright side theres no question now that 20 adolescent years and another now 30 adult years of seeing this clownshow has caused alot of internal reckoning. Most people never get the benefit of a process like that for their own development. I know it sounds weird but I dont have any real regret. Most of it maybe even a blessing? It just is what happened and its the way it was and Im good now and alot of people arent so isnt that something I should appreciate? Certainly leaving it all behind in early adulthood makes it easier. I wont deny that either.

My kids are quite incredulous to the entire nature of this story btw. Theres a comedy to it thats hard to describe for them. Trust me its NOT the life theyve lived any aspect of it either. As far as theyre concerned everything that gets discussed here is kind of funny. Is that good? I dont know. Its not like I could convince them differently if I tried.

Ive posted here a couple times recently. Maybe I will some more. Its a weird thing reading this stuff and being referenced. Not sure what my motivation is really after all these years to respond. Maybe if I have a thought I can share. I hope nobody minds.

You still arent answering the question.

S-kid,
I saw it as the youthful arrogance I had seen in other minister’s kids that needed time to sort out, but also you were quite good at basketball, so there was that.
I’m glad you were able to gain life wisdom through it all. I had my own more subtle arrogance and thought that life was just going to unfold for me. That thinking did not serve me well.
But, you learn. Thankfully some blessings have occurred upon learning there are few guarantees that just unfold.
Regrets are there for me, but we all live in the here (and now). I believe there is always an aspect of “perhaps you were prepared for a time such as this”. If viewed humbly we can do a lot of good.
Glad you provided your perspective and insight.
Blessings to you.

Sundown Kid,

I don't believe that anyone will mind your sharing. Quite the opposite. People do occasionally take potshots at all of us though, so you've got to have thick skin. Your comment demonstrated great verbal dexterity, so overall I believe you will have a positive experience here.

Looking forward to hearing more from you!

Should I keep praying that he is wrong? I'm so confused.

The Sundown Kid said...

No worries I can handle a potshot big time!!

Remember I grew up in the Worldwide Church of God and went to Ambassador College. At 20 when I entered the world i had no idea what bacon tasted like, owned not one pair of jeans, had a horrible hair style, and very little confidence with girls..... but holy hell i could handle and deliver potshots. In retrospect having my ass judged and dishing right back at you seems like the biggest takeaway of the whole damn thing smh

All joking aside...on a site largely dedicated to denigrating the absurdity of your family Im well aware any posting here needs to be a lesson in self deprecation. If over the next couple posts a little honest candor and healthy cynicism doesnt do it for us I can definitely go back to the last several decades where it was easier to ignore or keep practicing my best facepalm then type out a few words.
