From a reader who reminds us how Bwana Bob Thiel was ordained after no COG leader or minister would ever do it.
Let's not forget about Bicontinental Bob's bizarre round-robin ordination ceremony a few years ago.
He traveled to Africa to meet with one of his new leaders who was already styling himself as an "Evangelist" from some previous ordination. This African "Evangelist" told his people that he would be ordaining Bob in the ceremony. Bob, however, thought he was ordaining the African guy into leadership in his ACOG.
This tells us that Bob was insecure, deep down, about his own status as an Overseer who had been double-anointed but never before ordained. And it shows us how the African and American leaders use each other for their own gain.

I’m sure there must be a fake college out there somewhere who specialise in fake ordinations.
There are after all fake colleges and universities out there that specialise in fake doctorates.

Bobilina did find a diploma mill in India where he supposedly got a theology degree. Not able to complete a theology degree in CA he had to go overseas for a diploma, just like he did for his ordination.
What's the big deal. The Universal Life Church will legally ordain ANYONE, free of charge!

Has Bob done one thing the accepted way, the way that would automatically bring him the respect he craves? Even an honorary degree from a recognized college or university would carry more weight than the diploma mill schools he claims as Alma Mater. The stature and reputation of your Alma matters, Bob!
Same way with ordination. Even having been ordained by Rod Meredith would have lent more credibility than feeling like you're coming down with a cold, your annointer absent mindedly mumbling something about a double portion, and then imagining you are just like Elisha!

If he got a theology degree from Ambassador then he still doesn't have a legitimate degree in theology. He only had a couple classes at Fuller and even they did not credential him for anything. His online degree from a diploma mill doesn't name him a legtiamte theologian neither.

One thing is clear, Bob left LCG, not having been ordained to any office.
A slightly broader issue -- if you had been an ordained minister and left your church, willingly or unwillingly, do you still retain your ordination?
Cases in point: HWA was defrocked by CG7 and formed his own COG, the RCG. Would he still be considered an ordained minister? Or GTA, who was disfellowshipped, or Ron Dart, who resigned to join GTA? Or GRF, RCM, DCP, ... ?
I feel bad for Bob, he is like a little fish in a big ocean surrounded by huge sharks.
Everybody in an ACOG today quit the church at some point or another! Some two or three times. And all is forgiven from the past. The only sin as far as your minister is concerned would be leaving his church that you are attending right now! For that, you get damned, or become Laodicean.
RSK I don't see much of a problem with Bob and his videos but I think he should have a better office likd Mr. Armstrong and Mr. Pack has.

Bob Thiel has what he has because it is an indicator of how effective he is! The minute he becomes effective, (don't hold your breath!) he will have greater resources. Funny thing is, often success begets success. Prospects regard people of substance as being individuals who know how to accumulate, allocate, and utilize resources, and therefore trust them with their donations. People who donate to a cause want to see the job getting done! Everybody has to start somewhere. Bob has remained in startup mode for a long time now. This is what separates him from the big boys. It's how quickly you go from zero to 60. Dave Pack and Gerald Flurry did not remain as small potatoes for very long (relatively speaking). Bob is seriously stuck in a dead zone. We are the only ones paying attention to him, due mainly to the comic relief he provides.
Well... you're not wrong, if you mean the way the videos look. It would cost maybe $400 to make that room look presentable and to set his camera correctly. But Bob's not interested in learning how to present. He thinks a round of Spokesmans Club is enough.
I have come to the conclusion that Bob is nothing more than a Chinese bot being used to deceive us. No one in real life could ever be this stupid.
