Genetic testing revealed I'm a descendant of the Irish high king Niall of the 9 Hostages. I share that honor with 13.2 million of his descendants. Europeans are a product of three groups (races?) of people: Hunter/Gatherers, Agriculturalists and Steppe Pastoralists. This corresponds roughly to haplogroups I, G and R. As you go from north to south, the percentages change. Up north there is more haplogroup I and down south more haplogroup G. So, people look different from north to south owing to a different admixture of the same components. There are also incursions of other peoples - like the Moors in Spain and Italy. By far the largest group in modern day Europe is haplogroup R -the Steppe Pastoralists - people who retain the ability to drink milk into adulthood.
I am haplogroup R1b-M269. A solid Gentile haplogroup associated with the Steppe Pastoralists. Indo-European. But I have a smidgen of Jewish ancestry. Odds are that I am descended from the House of David. But it doesn't meaning anything. No doubt millions of people are descended from the House of David. The rules of primogenture do not favor people like me.
If anyone believes they are descended from David or the Aaronites or Levites, they can get a genetic test. If no Jewish ancestry turns up, forget it. And if you do have Jewish ancestry but you are not haplogroup J, forget it. You are nothing special. Just another mixed person.

All of these titles have not helped Dave in the accuracy of his prophecies.
I suspect that my garbage man may also have some royal or priestly blood. But, he never brags about it. And, frankly, he is much more effective in picking up our trash week in and week out than Dave is in revealing that he has any inspiration for his prophecies except for himself.
