Imagine being such an ungrateful jerk that you would smear a man's reputation in church, in front of family and friends just to force members to hand over their money before they die.
Dave talks about a man who gave a huge sum of money to the RCG, but held on to it while still alive only paying his tithes. He failed to turn it over to Dave as "common" and held on to it till he died.
He gets no credit whatsoever for doing that, but at least he gave it to us instead of his fmaily.

It's not uncommon for family members to successfully challenge such wills. The reason courts often rule in their favor is that the father/husband has a moral responsibility to provide for his family.
Wills is another example of the coercive pressure church members experience in many areas of their personal lives. My elder use to introduce the minister with a "today's message is by.." Message? What a joke. It's all undue influence, which Christ condemned with His "call no man your Master/Teacher." God's social system is that everyone is steward of their own life, but church culture is that everyone's life belongs to their minister. If a person is left alone, it's only because they are regarded as too small a fish. God is going to allow the Beast power to stomp on these churches for a reason.
