UPDATE: $90,000 Being Sought For James Malm Memorial

James Malm's son is seeking $90,000.00 to honor his dad and support him during this time of grief. I am not trying to be insensitive here, but no memorial or funeral costs $90,000.00. If he cannot afford to maintain a web site then it needs to be shut down.  I have never understood why people in the COG who think they are prophets and/or God's mouthpiece for new revelation expect people to pay to maintain their lifestyles. 

James Malm, passed away unexpectedly on June 5, 2020 . James was 70 years of age. A prolithic writer James had worked tirelessly on the shininglight websites suddenly leaving behind friends and family including his eldest son and best friend David malm,  James  and  David relied on contributions from visitors to his websites. During such a horrible time like this, those closest to James should not have to worry about finances. How Can You Trust Today's Self Appointed COG Prophets?

Church of God News had the following post about Norbert Link and his prophetic predictions of how the world is rapidly coming to an end.  This is nothing new to anyone who has even the slightest contact with the Herbert Armstrong's Churches of God movement.  One self-appointed prophet after another has come out with sure predictions that have failed in the most epic fashion.  None of them seems to ever remember that scripture condemns every single one of them when just ONE of their prophecies fail. Yet, they go on day in and day out uttering some of the most absurd, baseless and idiotic predictions imaginable.  The seven biggest liars in the Church of God today are Flurry, Pack, Malm, Thiel, Weston, Link and Weinland.  They get all hot and bothered with silly end time predictions and scenarios and totally ignore anything about Jesus Christ.

The question is, how can you trust Link's predictions or ANY of the others when it is based upon the failed prophecies of Herbert Armstrong, who's failures go back as far as 1935? When the very founder of the church you are a part of told one whopper after another, each epically failing, how can we trust any of these men today? Other than Weston, every single one of these men appointed themselves as prophets and church leaders. Weston inherited his mantle, the rest placed it selfishly upon themselves.

In Standing Watch, 28 June 2018, Norbert Link says that the actions of Donald Trump and the reactions of European leaders are leading to war between the European Union and the USA – not just a trade war, but a real war, the great tribulation. 

He offers a free booklet, The Great Tribulation and The Day of The Lord, which states on p. 16: “Incredible as it may seem, the United States and Great Britain, as well as other Commonwealth nations, will be overthrown and enslaved by their former ally and friend—the United States of Europe, led by the modern Assyrians.”

(This scenario – the modern Assyrians being Germany – was part of the end-time prophecies of Herbert Armstrong, to which a number of ex-WCG churches hold fast.) p.55: “… another “Elijah” must come to prepare this world for the second coming of Christ. God has given this role of an end-time Elijah to His end-time Church. There should be no doubt that Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong, who is considered by many as an apostle and who served as Pastor General of the Church of God until his death in 1986, began to fulfill this role.” 

In the Plain Truth magazine, June/July 1934, Mr. Armstrong set out the timeline of end-time events in his article What is Going to Happen: 

“These prophecies above considered, then, indicate that we may expect the present world-wide depression, time of trouble and fear of war to CONTINUE until the year 1936! This in spite of the NRA or any man-devised remedies for the present trouble! 

And at, or quickly after that time, we may expect to see the heavenly signs of the sun and moon becoming dark, the stars falling — and the heavens rolling back as a scroll, showing the SIGN of the coming of the Son of man IN HEAVEN.” 

In the July 1935 issue he declared, in Mussolini Goes To War, “Even as you read this, he is marching to ARMAGEDDON! HERE is the most astounding prophecy of the hour! Heretofore unexplained! Now being startlingly fulfilled! The Bible foretells every step Mussolini will take … 

Mussolini shall establish his palace, as capital of the revived Roman empire, at JERUSALEM!” 

The Plain Truth magazine was not printed in 1936 or 1937. Publication was re-started in 1938 without any reference to these failed prophecies.

It's A Masonic Conspiracy!

Bet you never knew that ALL the McNairs were Masons did you? What about David Hulme? Rod Meredith? Imagine Rod as a Mason - Oy! Stan Rader we have all heard about and Tkach too. Is any of it really true or is this just another conspiracy theory for the mentally disturbed in Armstrongism to latch on to in order to make themselves feel special and set apart?

Apostle Malm is on an anti-Masonry snit-fest today. It was all a Masonic conspiracy that destroyed the Church of God.  According to Apostle Malm and Christan conspiracy nutjobs, the Masons have been instructed by Satan Lucifer to infiltrate all religions and destroy them.

The Apostle notes that for decades the WCG had articles and booklets on Masonry.  Jack Elliot had written several articles on the subject.  Then along comes Stan and the brakes go on and the booklets and articles are removed.

One thing that Apostle Malm did not know about was the Auditorium.  Years ago there was a man touring the building and he informed me he was one of the people that helped construct the building through the auspices of Daniel, Mann, Johnson and Mendenhall.  He claimed that the entire Auditorium was built with Masonic symbolism.  The Auditorium is a cube shape (take away the white pillars that disguise it).  It faces East so that all worshippers in the  building always faced the rising sun. There was a room in the ceiling area on the upper left side that was appropriate to Masonic symbolism in its placement.  The colors used. Various shapes in the design.  He also said that Masonic coins were located throughout the building in different locations, placed there by workers.

Nor did the Apostle mention this delightful little tidbit: the bridges over the lake intersect into a female sexual symbol with the fountain symbolising the penis with it's rigid shaft and spurting water.

Of course all of these things are nothing new.  There were rumors of this in the mid to late 70's, so much so, that GTA stood on the stage one day and said that some of these weird people who believe this kind of stuff would get "turned on by piano legs."

Never mind the fact that a huge percentage of Armstrongite churches have met in Masonic, Elks and Odd Fellows Halls over the decades.  I guess that all seeing eye staring down at us was Lucifer's way of infiltrating the church.

Should Ballroom Dancing To Be Banned At Feast Sites?

Has your local COG become a social club?  Do you play cards,  drink, dance and dare to have a little fun? Setting aside the fact that alcoholism is rampant in the COG's, is it really wrong to dance and play cards?  According to the person below it seems  to be.  He sounds more like a Southern Baptist than a COGer.

Apostle Malm (in bold) admits that the COG is over run by alcoholism, especially in the ordained ranks.  He then goes on to be ready to ban ballroom dancing at the Feast!  No more of this "touchy feely" type of dance.  You should be doing a Jewish style of dance where you jump and leap around the room.  That is what the new owners of Ambassador Auditorium do, they jump, leap, pogo, and do other ecstatic dancing.

Malm is thinking about setting up a Feast site this coming year.  Can you imagine how depressing it will be to attend this downer of a Feast site?  He has so many rules and regulations on what people should be doing and not doing on Saturdays, holy days and new moons that people will not be able to breathe without committing a major sin.

What I am telling you is certain (true). The majority of the churches have been converted into social clubs, fellowship and fun, and have pushed aside the spiritual focus. This even has happened with the observance of the Holy Days of God. I had the opportunity to attend here in Guatemala at the Feast of Tabernacles with the United Church of God and nothing new was ever said to us, always the same sermons, the same topics that in the millenium “we will govern over the rest” , as if to instill into our minds that Nicolaitan attitude of dominance over the rest. And, speaking about fun, what do you think about alcoholic beverages? HWA used to teach that one could drink, dance, go to the movies and play cards “in moderation”. Without exception I have seen some excesses mainly at the Feast of Tabernacles.

 I am familiar with Ottawa, Victoria and Pentiction Feast sites in Canada. The locals welcome our money and they welcome us leaving. There are always problems with alcohol, fighting [mostly marital and young people shouting at each other], rowdiness and drunk driving. In Pentiction the COG is known as the Church of Booze and the Feast as the Feast of Booze. My grandfather was editor of the Pentiction Herald until he retired and I was well familiar with things there; haven’t been there in the last ten years. The COGs are famous for alcoholism in many of their top elders. Of course this means that biblically they are not qualified as elders. 1 Cor 6:10. Being addicted to anything is to be a slave. The rampant abuse of alcohol by many in the ministry is a very sad matter; even HWA was an alcoholic. The Feasts are a chance to really let our light shine and they have in very many cases given us a black eye. Biblical dancing was never this touchy feely embracing dancing; it was always dancing as an expression of joy closer to the Jewish dancing or a kind of leaping for joy and rejoicing before God. We should be doing that at the Feasts and not the ballroom dancing style. Search for Jewish Religious Dance, Dancing for Joy, Davidic Dance etc.; I am not a fan of Modern Rabbinic Judaism, but this goes back well before the time of Christ to David and earlier. This is too energetic for Sabbath but excellent for the middle Feast days.

You Sinned If You Watched New Years Celebrations

The legalistic hate mongers in the Church of God have been on a roll this year. Apostle Malm, Prophet Thiel, and others have all been in a rage about Christmas and New Years celebrations.  You would think people were slaughtering first born on both of these days.  For some reason the COGers seem to think these are the worlds two most offensive and putrid celebrations the face of the earth.

Why do so many Church of God folk watch New Year's celebrations?

Some of these people give sermonettes (because they are related to someone or are wealthy not because of ability or knowledge). I must say that their 'sermonettes' are nothing but piffle and dribble anyway with no depth of understanding. As such, as a Church of God member I am under no obligation to listen to them...

So what's the difference between celebrating New Year's and Christmas? They are part of the same Babylonian Mark of the Beast! So should Christians be celebrating it or watching the fireworks? Time is short; life is short; why are members no longer interested in studying God's Word? Study and discuss the Bible, not get into New Year's trash!

The COG has always had a tradition of working the Rose Parade in Pasadena for well over 50 years.  The college and church basically ran all grandstands, parking lots and most concession stands on the parade route for years.  Even to this day members from the various splinter groups still do some activities to raise money. They park cars, usher in grandstands, sell programs or concessions and are even members of the organization.  LCG even has a member of their church in the Tournament of Roses.  Yet Prophet Thiel spits and sputters about the evilness of New Years. I am sure that LCG member appreciates being lied about by Prophet Bob.

William Ellis wrote in a 1964 Plain Truth the following that COGers just love to promote this time of year:

The New Year's festivities that had originated in Babylon found their way to Greece and finally to Rome. The Romans called it "Saturnalia" -- in honor of Saturn. Among them it was extremely popular -- a time of revelings, drinking bouts, orgies -- finally ending in HUMAN SACRIFICE!

There is nothing better to start the new year off than a fresh sacrifice on the altar, especially if it is a pink juicy baby!  Then he goes on to talk about many Feast of tabernacles sites:  "... a time of revelings, drinking bouts, orgies..."  There have been many reports over the years of the drunken and gluttonous COG members at Feast sites.  There have been sex orgies and wife swapping by ministers and members.  I would think these Armstrongites would get their own houses in order before damning the world around them.


Ellis goes on to write:  

Today, New Year's Eve has become a time for people to wallow in excesses of liquor! The modern attitude seems to be, "have a wild time on New Year's Eve, and turn over a new leaf on New Year's Day!"

New Year's resolutions are empty and meaningless, usually trifling matters of jest! Few people make a lasting change. (OrginalWCG Yahoo Group)

The first paragraph describes a typical COG Feast site and the second sounds exactly like COG members who make all kinds of promises to God right before Passover and afterwards.  They beg God to forgive them for the past years sins and make promises not to make the same mistakes for the coming year.  Then like the people who make New Years resolutions they then proceed to break all those promises.Hypocrites!

Apostle Is Hard Up For Cash

It looks like Apostle Malm has fallen on hard times and now wants people to help bail him out.

Here's a hint.  Stop your incessant end times malarkey and quit posting on your blog posts that take endless hours of "research".  Go back to your contracting job and work.

You have no message that is of value to COG members or humanity at large.

FINANCIAL STATEMENT AND SUPPORT REQUEST: 

I have been working at this outreach since April 07; spending an average of at least eight hours per day in research, study, writing, answering mail and counseling concerning issues sent in to me.  This is an average, as I would spend much less time on Sabbath and more on other days.

Over these four plus years I have received about [this is a close estimate] $50,000.   My expenses for internet access, the first computer and maintenance, extensive internet advertising for the Main and News sites, as well as for web hosting  etc have been about $28,000.  That leaves about  $22,000 in excess of direct expenses for almost 4 1/2 years of hard work.

During this time my workload and expenses have increased exponentially and have greatly interfered with my ability to work and earn a living at my contracting business.  This has resulted in my falling deeply and inextricable into debt [over $60,000].

This has never been a business for me.  I have never been in this for money.  I am not complaining at all, this is a labour of love.  My concern is to be open about my situation to avoid any hint of impropriety or money grubbing.

My computer is now about five years old and has been under extensive use.  I am now experiencing glitches and problems and in need of an upgrade.   I would like to take advantage of any possible December sales to purchase a good lap top.  This will allow me mobility over my present desk based model and will resolve the escalating issues I am having.

Thousands visit and benefit from these efforts, only a very few actually help out.  I am now asking for a little help; not to build grand buildings, but to provided a needed tool to do this job.

This is NOT the time to construct fine buildings and houses; it is the time to be about our Father’s business.

Before he made this request for money he was ripping Dave Pack a new one for using members money to build a new HQ.  It really irritates the Apostle that Pack his building this monstrosity while he (the Apostle) needs help.

Dave Pack demanded that all of his supporters give everything they had including selling off of Real and personal property to give to him for the furtherance of the Gospel.   He is now wasting God’s money on his personal projects at a phenomenal and unsustainable rate; following the same path to economic ruin that brought the HWA WCG into one financial crisis after another from the 70′s onward. Pack does not have a 130,000 member financial base to even begin to sustain this.

All this; not understanding nor seeing the signs of the times.

This is not the time for building grand buildings; it is the time for delivering a warning to the saints, for making well known the end time signs of the scriptures and for preaching loudly the gospel of repentance and salvation!

How dare you peons give money to Pack when the TRUE Apostle needs it now!  Shame on you!

The Apostle Says: Stop Sending Money To Your Sinful COG HQ!

Poor Herb just cannot get a break anymore.  Dissidents have picked at him for years. Ministers and members have rebelled.  Now the latest Apostle is claiming Herb started watering down the gospel and doctrines starting in the late 1960's.  Of course there is the proverbial bogey man that caused it - Stan Rader.  Rader caused HWA to slip further down that slippery slope into grievous sin.

The Apostle writes today:

You should also know that there was very little real difference between GTA and his father, Ted’s ouster was a political maneuver arranged by Stan Rader and come over Ted’s sexual problems rather than doctrine.  You should also know that the major COG Groups today only pay lip service to HWA and have actually made many changes to his positions.   In fact they SHOULD be willing  to grow and change and should have never paid lip service to him in the first place.  Instead they have paid lip service to him as if he were a god while continuing on the path of more and more doctrinal laxity and lukewarmness.

HWA was always all about the money and always ran the church as a business, and his way of dealing with the financial crisis was not to cut back on his friend Rader, but to loosen the baptismal requirements that he had been using before about 1969.  After that time a gradual loosening came about as first one thing and later another went by the wayside.  The fundamental requirement had always been loyalty to HWA so they were just loosening the degree of doctrinal understanding that they required.

That is to say, if they agreed with whatever HWA said than they were acceptable.  Herbert himself watered down doctrine greatly after the late 60 including such things as buying food and drink on Sabbath, traveling on Sabbath, attending pagan religious activities like christmas was allowed by him, he changed from one extreme to the other on D & R allowed birthdays etc etc.

In fact the Tkach changes were only the natural end result of HWAs process of becoming personally lukewarm for doctrine and zealous for numbers and money; into what the COG Groups now teach.

The Apostle is trying to warn the COG's that they are grievous sinners because they eat out on Saturdays, might watch some TV or go to the park.  Gone are the days of having to dress up in "sabbath wear" while at home whenever the broadcast came on.  Gone are the days eating cold leftovers on Saturdays when you got home from an incredibly long and boring church service. Gone are the days of having to eat dried beef sandwiches on stone ground whole wheat bread and carob cookies while during home on the long 150 mile trip.  Of course having to drive over 300 miles for church services was not considered a sin for some reason.

Today all the major groups pay lip service to the Sabbath as they routinely pollute it, by buying in restaurants, going on extensive travel and fudging on the Sabbath  and Holy Days

Disgusting sinners!  Vile reprobates!  You deserve to be thrown in the lake of fire! Filthy commandment breakers!

So how does the Apostle plan on stopping this grievous abuse of the sabbath?  He wants members to stop sending in money to these organizations.

These people are about M O N E Y and are lax on doctrine.  As long as people pay or contribute in other ways they will tolerate a great deal.  Stop contributing, or make waves so that others may be influenced and watch how quickly they act. 

While he doesn't say it, you can bet he wants that money sent to him so he can perform his mighty work of warning to the church!

All of this is enough to make me go out and buy a McRib on Saturday.  Might as well kill two birds with one stone......maybe that's three considering that money is going to a pagan business when it should have been sent to a True Church.

26 Steps To The New Jerusalem

The Church of God has always felt it knew best just about everything on the Bible and it's interpretation. So it's no wonder we have myriads of splinter groups with ever imaginable leader spitting out his interpretations as "The Truth."

The Church of Malm is no different.  Apostle Malm has laid down in "26 steps"on exactly how the endtime will soon be happening.  Perhaps we should all do like the WCG instructed in the early 70's when it had Church members print out a time table of events leading up to our departure to Petra by 1972.  My mother had this mounted in the kitchen cupboard and marked the months off as we got t closer and closer tot he end.

Since Apostle Malm is God's only true messenger these days maybe we need to heed his words.

So for your edification here are the sequence of 26 things that WILL happen before the end:

A step by step list of main events.

1 A Middle East war is expected to set the conditions for a peace agreement.

2 The war in heaven will precede the Abomination being set up Dan 12, which IS the false prophet  (this is the first seal of Revelation).

3 A peace deal will be reached; allowing for a declaration of peace and safety very near the time that the abomination goes to the Holy Place, 1 Thes 5:3. There may or may not be a seven year treaty with the Jews, Palestinians and Vatican. There will NOT be 3 1/2 years of peace (this is a non biblical tradition of Protesant origin). War will begin AS SOON AS peace is declared.

4 He (the abomination; false prophet) will call for and bring about a revival of the Holy Roman Empire during a 75 day period.

5 The two prophets of God will begin their work.

6 Jerusalem will be surrounded by armies; probably peacekeepers to enforce the agreement.

7 The zealously faithful and obedient will flee into the wilderness; arriving at the time that the abomination visits the Holy Place.

8 The false prophet will travel to the Holy Place at the same time as no 7, or immediately before.

9 This will trigger violence which results in the occupation of the city by these European peace keepers.

10 Israel will not give up Jerusalem without a fight and all Judea will be subjugated.

11 The US will enter the conflict in support of Israel and will be defeated but not totally destroyed and probably not occupied; just brought to her knees.

12 Europe will be supreme for about 2-3 years.

13 Europe will attack the Asian nations of Russia China ect.

14 Asia will absorb the attack and move into Europe destroying it.

15 The beast and false prophet (abomination) will move to Jerusalem to make their last stand.

16 The two prophets will be killed 3 1/2 days later the resurrection will take place

.17 The Asian armies will move south toward Jerusalem and camp at Miggedo, the Wedding Feast of the Lamb will take place in heaven; and the seven last plagues will be poured out; during the 45 days between the resurrection and the end of the 1,335 days. 18 The Asian armies will attack Jerusalem and take half of the city.

19 Christ will come WITH his saints and put down all factions.

20 The beast and false prophet will be killed at the end of the 1,335 days of Dan 12.

21 God’s spirit will be poured out on all flesh, establishing his kingdom on a Feast of Pentecost.

22 There will be 1,000 years of peace; completing a 7,000 year plan for the firstfruits.

23 Satan will be released for a short time and then removed forever.

24 Then the 7,000 year plan for the main harvest will begin; and the Feast of the Ingathering of Nations or the Feast of Tabernacles will bring all repentant humanity into the family of God.

25 After the seven thousand years of the Feast of Tabernacles, the surface of the earth and all wickedness will be destroyed and cleansed by fire.

26 The New Jerusalem will come down from heaven, the Father will come to be with his Christ and his saints; and an eternal future of peace and harmony will bring an endless increase of God’s Kingdom throughout the universe.

Apostle Malm Predicts War With Iran

While Prophet Thiel and Spanky are worried about China and Germany, Apostle Malm is worried about Iran and has predicted that the United States and Europe will soon wage war with Iran.  Here is the scenario that Apostle Malm laid out today. The war mentally has permeated Armstrongism from it's very start to this day.

THE FIGHT FOR IRAN
The battle for Iran could unfold in the following manner.  This is what the US forces have trained for, the enemy may have somewhat to say.

1)   A mass bombing by heavy bombers from the US, Europe and Diego Garcia take out most of the missile fields,  main Revolutionary Guards bases and air force.

2)   Continued air attacks from the new bases surrounding Iran and by sea; support ground operations and keep up the pressure by destroying the munitions and military strength of the nation.

3)   US Marine’s move to take key coastal areas in a bid to prevent the closure of the Persian Gulf to shipping and to safeguard naval vessels.



4) Most of  the US army now being rushed to the region will end up in Kuwait where they will access their prepositioned weapons and prepare to move into Khuzestan province.  The CIA has been working hard to destabilize that province for years now and the army will be backing an Arab revolutionary movement already in place. The main Iranian force in the province is the Revolutionary Guard, as many of Iran’s Military leaders are US educated and not really trusted with this vital area.
The First Armored Brigade activated 7 March 1951 at Fort Hood, Texas is the unit to spearhead the attack on Khuzetstan and Iran along with the 173rd Airborne based in Vincensa Italy.

5)   Once the Revolutionary Guard has been demolished, the army may move to establish order and sue for peace; the “Green Path” party can then make its move with mass demonstrations, free from molestation by the Revolutionary Guard security forces.  Presently elections are scheduled for March in Iran.

Reprobate COGers Parasailing and Watching WICKED Cartoons on Saturdays

Apostle Malm is not happy today!  Well, that's no shocker.  He is upset that COG folk who happen to go on Feast cruises spend Saturday parasailing and watching shows and cartoons.  Oh the tragedy!

The last Feast I ever attended was a cruise to the Caribbean.  I bet 1/3 - 1/2 those on the cruise did similar activities.  Why sit in some theatre listening to a minister drone on and on about nothing?  Most people on the cruise brought guests because the rates were so good and people had a blast, even on Saturdays.  I even saw the minister in the casino on Saturday.

It is reported to me that many engage in lengthy travel on the Sabbath; that at a recent Feast, a cruise ship was in port on Sabbath and the minister hid away as the people went out to play; parasailing. That many watch hours of cartoons and shows full of wickedness on the Sabbath; and that in a demonstration of monumental hypocrisy [not being willing to work, but being willing to pay others to do so] some actually go out to buy food and drink on God’s Holy Sabbath Day.

Abomination of Desolation Will Be Set Up September 17-18, 2012

The Apostle Malm is on his 2012 start of the tribulation kick again:

I had recently said that I thought 2012 may well be the year that the tribulation begins.  The reason is world trends, the situation in the COGs and the fact that only during a few years are there 45 days between the sixth day of Unleavends and the day before Pentecost.  As you know, I teach a resurrection on the sixth day of Unleavends to complete the 1,290 days of Dan 12; to be followed by another 45 days to complete the 1,335 days of Dan 12 on the day before Pentecost. With the scripture being fulfilled that at the end of the days all flesh shall be blessed.
 
It is an interesting fact that 2012-2016  fits the bill for fulfilling the 1,290 and the 1,335 days of Daniel 12.
Counting from and including: Tuesday, September 18, 2012
To, and including: Saturday, May 14, 2016; is 1,335 days.

This means that IF 2012 were to be the start of this count; the abomination would be set up around 17-18  Sep 2012.

The Apostle wants to make clear to you that he does not set dates!  Repeat, he does not set dates!

Let me say that I am NOT claiming this as definitely the year; that will not be known for sure UNTIL THE ABOMINATION IS SET UP.  After he is set up in Rome the tribulation will begin 75 days later.  2012 however, is a very distinct possibility; and if the abomination is actually set up in sep 2012, it will not only be the start of counting the days; it will be direct proof of the teaching regarding the sixth day of Unleavends and Pentecost.

Whew! It's Now Official - You Can Celebrate Feast of Trumpets Friday

Apostle Malm has declared that the New Moon was sighted in Jerusalem and you can officially observe the Feast of Trumpets Friday!  So get ready to start tooting that horn ALL day long!

The New Moon was not sighted east of Judea and at the same latitude last evening.  It has been sighted this evening making Friday the Feast of Trumpets as calculated and expected.

It was sighted at 6:30 pm by Pierre in Omer. That is adjacent to Beersheva in the Negev.

 

It was sighted at 6:45 pm by Nancy in Har Gilo. That is a suburb of Jerusalem.

 

This day is called Yom Teruah in the Hebrew, and Yom Teruah actually means a blast of rejoicing, or shouts of joy.

The instrument used is a Shofar which is primarily used to announce the presence of God; it is used as an alarm of war in the sense of warning the people and calling upon God to deliver.

We see from Lev 23 that:  1)   No work of any kind is to be done.  2)   This is to be a memorial of shouts of joy and Shofar blasts.  3)   A Sabbath and Holy Convocation of like minded persons.   4)   An offering made by fire [a burnt offering] is to be offered.

 4) Trumpets are commanded to be blown throughout the day. A loud sound is made by blowing or forcing air through the trumpet. This very thought of physical air reminds us of the raising to physical life of all Israel by the blowing of air or wind in Ezek 37. We know that this is physical life, for only the physical need air to live and only the physical have bone, flesh and sinew.

Pesky Demons and Law Keeping

The Sabbath breaking Apostate Malm posted TODAY (on his holy sabbath) some tidbits about pesky demons and his (Malm's) agenda. I guess computer use on the Sabbath is OK even though it causes you to make someone work to produce your electricity that you are being billed for today.

For those of you being pestered by pesky demons there is a reason for that. You fear them and by doing so you have allowed them to come and pester you!  Don't you hate when they do that!

The evil spirits love to be exalted, to be worshiped and a part of that is that to be feared; fear is a facet of worship.  Those who fear demons will be pestered by them because they love to be feared, they eat it up, because to fear them is to acknowledge that they are all powerful.

 When you allow these pesky things to come and make your life miserable you allow them to stop you from keeping the Sabbath properly, not keep the new moons, and all the other 613 laws.  Because of your grievous back sliding and CONSTANT lawbreaking the Anointed One has made it his mission to put you back on the straight and narrow path.

What is my agenda?  To make a wake up call  from our complacency and careless lukewarmness and:  To proclaim “follow men ONLY as they follow Christ and the Father”! 

The doers of the law shall have the justifying sacrifice of Christ applied to them and shall be imbued with the spirit of God.  (really??? this just goes to show how ignorant he really is!)

What shall any faithful commandment keeper fear?   It is better to suffer and be tormented in this life and to even be killed for the faith as Christ was; then to turn away for our own temporary physical pleasure, for a bowl of potage as Esau did.

If we follow the ways of Esau we shall surely be rejected as Esau was; As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.  This was not about the man: it was about his attitude and actions.  Will you be like him: not valuing the birthright of your calling?  Thinking that the  temporary pleasure of a birthday party, buying a meal for your pleasure on Sabbath, or some other compromise else is worth your crown?

Am I adding to the law?  NO!  I am fighting those who have taken away from the law!  I am restoring the commandments of God which have been compromised!  As Ezra and Nehemiah did concerning the Sabbath day!

Lucifer Created HWA's Pyramid Syle of Government

I bet Herb does not like hearing this!  Apostate Malm writes:

HWA condemned any type of ministerial authority for years when he did not want to be subject to it.  Then he began to teach the “Pyramidal” system of church government with himself at the top.  HWA then reversed his position on Peter being the chief apostle and began to teach that Peter was indeed the chief apostle and that he  HWA was the later day Peter.  This was the Catholic Primacy of Peter, although that title was seldom used for the doctrine because it linked the WCG with Roman Catholicism.

HWA set up the Satanic “Pyramid” system which was proved to be so wrong by Joe Tkach.  God allowed an apostate to become the WCG leader to teach his people that NO man was ever to be our ultimate moral authority.  There is NO mediator or intercessor between men and God except Jesus Christ.

What Apostate Malm says about Tkach is true!  He brought to light that no man stands between us and God, no law-keeping stands between us and God, and no church stands between us and God despite of what Apostate Malm says!.  If Tkach Sr. accomplished nothing more than this, then he was the right man for that job.  That does not gloss over all the other crap that he did, but in this aspect he was right on the money!

Apostate Malm: Pagans Did It, You Can't!

Apostate Malm continues today about witchcraft and astrology.  Who is this source that he is getting his information from?  Another fired nut-job COG minister, Slick Willie Dankenbring.

Apostate Malm quotes Slick Willie on birthdays:

You can search the Bible from Genesis to Revelation you will find no mention of lots of things, yet we do them today.  Only legalistic cultists look for things hidden or actually not even there to make their rules and regulations.  How better to keep the sheep under control but to burden them with endless, useless irrelevant rules and regulations!

The plain truth is that birth day celebrations are only mentioned twice in the Scriptures — once in the Old Testament and once in the New Testament – and both times in reference to customs being observed by unconverted, pagan people — an Egyptian Pharaoh, and wicked king Herod!

Oh my!  These two dudes also ate food, danced, married, wore clothes, drank wine, went to the toilet, took baths, travelled, argued, read "books", breathed air, and even farted.  So because they did these things we should NOT be doing them today?  John the Baptists had his served up on a platter at a party/banquet.  Are we to not have parties and banquets today?  This just goes to show how Armstrongites make mountains out of mole hills.

Then Slick Willie moves on to astrology which is one of Armstrongism's bogeymen.

God Almighty says to the daughter of Babylon (Isa. 47:1), the great pagan religious deception which has engulfed the world, “Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the ASTROLOGERS, the star-gazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee. Slick Willie seems to forget that the Israelites and COGgers look to new moons, set their dates for religious observances by the moon, watch the rising and setting of the sun, practice numerology, and other things similar to the "pagans."  Apostate Malm and Prophet Thiel are huge believers in numerology.  They love to count numbers, set dates, and wallow in all kinds of speculations just as the sorcerers did.

The whole message of God is to teach us to humble ourselves, and to love our neighbor as we love ourselves – to get rid of ego and self-centeredness. Birthdays have the opposite effect. They concentrate the attention on the birthday person, glorifying him – not God – and exalting him – not God – and having people bring him presents. Thus paying “homage” to the birthday child. This is the height of conceit and fosters a spirit of get, selfishness, and self-worship. Self, self, self! The whole extravaganza creates pride and lofty conceit in selfishness in a child. The typical birthday party is therefore one of the deceptions of the devil, made to look attractive and nice on the outside, but full of wickedness on the inside.

Yet we were supposed to grovel at the feet of our humble Apostle (HWA), evangelists and pastors.  Men who were self-centered, narcissistic, egotistical, self-righteous and self-worshipping.  We were to be in awe of their presence and the words that spilled from their mouths. It was all about, ME, ME, ME!  Just look at Flurry, Pack, Weinland, Cox and Meredith.  It is all about them. Their words are the most significant words ever uttered on earth.  They are Elijah's, One of the Two Witnesses, God's Anointed, Apostles, Pastor Generals, etc.  Stand in awe and continue to be amazed!

Then in wondrous glory, Apostate Malm concludes with this STERN warning:

And I mean it!  Almighty God also means it!  We are NOT to indulge in the pagan practices of this world.  By partaking of the sins of this world; if we do we shall be corrected for our good by our God.

Nowhere in all the Bible is the birthday of ANY person of God revealed!  WHY?  Because are carnal nature would cause us to run off to celebrate that day.  We would then celebrate Christ Mass and saints days throughout the year!


If God wanted us to observe birthdays, then he would surely have t0ld us the birthday of Christ so that we could honour him in that fashion.  Instead we are told to honour him be observing the day of his DEATH!  And the day of his ascension to the Father to be accepted for us as our sacrifice and High Priest on Wave Offering Sunday!

The observance of Birthdays is so utterly wrapped up in paganism that we cannot avoid becoming polluted if we choose to observe them.  The only thing that can be done in good conscience before God is to simply acknowledge the passing of another year, while avoiding all the partying and pagan hype.

Are You Practicing Witchcraft in the COG's? The Apostle Thinks So!

According to Apostle Malm marrying outside the Church is a sign of WITCHCRAFT......along with everything else in the world. 

Break a commandment and you are committing...WITCHCRAFT!

Brethren to do what you know is against God’s commandments; and to attempt to justify it as Saul did IS  rebellion against God: IT IS A FORM OF WITCHCRAFT!

When UCG states that marriages outside the faith are condemned in the scripture; but if you want to do it, that’s alright with us. When they say that they will support any elder who is comfortable in conducting such a ceremony: They are practicing the same kind of rebellion as Saul did!!!   This  is witchcraft!

Celebrate a birthday...WITCHCRAFT!  When you light those candles the burning flames carry your prayers to the Satan!

The elders in UCG and those that formed COGWA are strongly supportive of birthday celebrations.  While the years do pass and we do get older; should we really celebrate the passage of the years by pagan methods involving witchcraft?

Should we close our eyes making a wish [offering a prayer] over burning candles so that the prayer will ascend to the spirits in the fire and smoke as is done in witchcraft?  Should we party with a gathering of our friends as the pagans did and do; this done to pacify the demons to guarantee a good year?

So in order to stop this vile practice of WITCHCRAFT the apostle is instituting a new way to keep birthdays...

Some food for thought: Is it scriptural to exalt the child?  or for the child to honour the parent?  As parents we dote on our children daily; if we were to acknowledge a  birthday; would it not be better and more godly for the child to honour their parents by thanking them for all they have done for the child; including giving them life and the all that they have.   This world with its rebellious nature does the opposite of what is godly;  why participate in its errors?

Part of the reason you cannot keep your birthday is that you are too stupid to know exactly when you were born.  Pagans have influenced our calendar, witches, demons and Samuel LeVay have taken over birthdays now and use the calendar according to their will, thereby making it invalid.

In LaVeyan Satanism, birthdays are considered holy days and are ranked as the most important holy day of the year for the person concerned, as a time when the gods will grant requests.  The Satanic Bible says that each individual is a god and therefore one’s own birthday is the birth of a god.  This is the basic lie of Satan in the garden that we are all gods if we decide right from wrong on our own.

Are UCG Members Being Encouraged To Particpate in a Witchcraft Ritual? UPDATED

Beware the next time you are in a UCG church service and you are asked to hold hands with the person next to you in prayer.  It seems that Denny Luker has been over taken by the spirit of witchcraft and is encouraging the membership to join him in bringing forth demons........

Did you know by clasping the hand with another in prayer that you will be participating in witchcraft! I have never heard that one in all the years I was part of Armstrongism!  Little did I know that UCG is being invaded by pentecostal witchcraft!  The Apostle Malm seems to think that you are indirectly participating in a seance to bring forth demons!

HOLDING HANDS IN PRAYER is a Pentecostal custom coming from witchcraft which is very popular with Denny Luker and is creeping into the UCG.  The pagan concept behind this tradition is to demonstrate UNITY by holding hands together.  This is believed to multiply the power of the prayer by indicating to the deity that many are fully united in making the request.  Seances to contact demons are always accompanied by hand holding.  This also creates an emotional bond between the participants.  Hand holding is a definite emotional bonding between people; instead of a personal contact with Almighty God.

The holding of hands during prayer degrades a spiritual matter of contact with God, into an emotional experience.  Prayer is degraded into an emotional experience; indeed much such prayer is not to seek God, but to impress those present by voluminous flowery and impressive language.  Such prayer may impress some people but it does NOT impress God.

It is certainly not wrong to touch others, to cry on someone’s shoulder if the need is there, or to hold hands; however to do so as a means to try and influence people or God in prayer, is most definitely wrong and has its roots in witchcraft [Satanism].

It's no wonder people in the world look at Armstrongism with such derision and non-interest!  Who in their right mind would follow such idiots?

The Apostle has had several of his acolytes write in with questions.  The appalling thing is that people actually value The Apostles' opinion on this matter!

How dare men hold the hand of a man or a married woman in prayer!  Does this imply you will turn gay or be committing adultery?  The idea that any person needed to ask such a question shows how simple minded Armstrongism has become!

Do you mean brethren holding hands with each other during opening and closing prayers at UCG Sabbath and Holy Day services ?? If so this is complete madness and would cause all manner of problems and it’s so weird.

Concerning the issue of holding hands.
As a family, we have always held hands as we give thanks over a meal as well as when we ask God to watch over us as we travel. Since our children are small this helps them to focus their attention on what we are doing. It does foster a sense of being together as we do this. As a family we do a many things together to foster unity – especially to teach our children the Faith (Bible studies, singing hymns, etc).
Other than that some “pagans” hold hands in their practices … is there a reference in scripture condemning the practice? I wouldn’t want a family tradition to replace Scriptural commands or examples. I am sure there are many things that non-believers do when they come together that we might unknowingly imitate in our practices and worship. Is the fact that they also do them make them inherently wrong?
We have been for the last year looking at a great many things we do in the practice of our Faith. Some areas are stall wanting – some areas have been strengthened. Above all, we must do all we do in Faith to our Father within the bounds of His commands. Is this a matter a practicing sin or a matter of personal conscience?
We are commanded not to learn the ways of the heathen to do them. We are not to use paganisms in our worship or religious practrice. We are not to worship our God as the pagans worship theirs. We are to keep all Gods commandments and are not to add or take away from them. We are to worship God ONLY as HE directs. Our children are learning what we teach them and if we teach them the ways of the pagans it will need to be overcome later in life. We are to dilligently teach our children to serve the Eternal as he commands and not by our own methods and the imaginations of our own hearts. It is not necessary to point every single possible false way in scripture; for we would run out of years in which to read the list of errors that men contrive. There are millions of counterfeits and the only need is to teach the real thing, then the false will be recognized as anything that deviates from the real thing. We are to cleave to God’s commandments and to worship him as he commands, not as we devise for ourselves. There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof is death. James

Women Are Ritually Unclean After Childbirth?

The Apostle Malm is so concerned about keeping all the laws in the Old Testament that he made his wife stay home after childbirth because she was unclean and impure.  While I am sure the bonding experience was tremendous, the reason behind it was not. I wonder if they actually sacrificed doves or pigeons in their backyard to cleanse her impurities?

An acolyte writes in a question to the Apostle:

I have three sons and a daughter beginning in 1979. Yes, we did practice and keep those commands. My wife and child did not go out in public or to services during that time frame, they stayed at home and bonded and rested together. These commandments are very relevant for the health of the mother and child; they prevent exposure to disease until the mother and child are strong enough to resist. A strong and healthy as possible mother is very important to quality child rearing. If you refuse child immunizations, breast feed, avoid commercial baby food [which we have gone without for about 6,000 years] and follow these commandments; you will give your child a big boost in life. Yes, these commandments are to be obeyed; the sacrificial aspect being through prayer and the sacrifice of Christ. And yes, I did abstain during those days. James

REAL Apostles Do Not BBQ on Saturdays!

Any man who declares that it is good to have a barbecue, or to cook and purchase food, drink and services on Sabbath: does so in defiance of the word of Almighty God.  He sets a hypocritical example and is NOT zealous for the commandments of God, nor is he filled with love for God and man, for he defies God and encourages men to sin by his example!

It is lawful to obey God on the Sabbath and to do what God commands on the Sabbath.  That includes those things necessary to convoke together.  It is NOT lawful to do what God has forbidden on the Sabbath; that includes cooking,  purchasing food, drink and services and engaging in extensive travel.
The man who is not filled with zeal for the Sabbath is NOT an apostle of God!

Touch Not The Unclean

Apostle Malm was asked today by one of his acolytes on how to know when a woman is menstruating:

How do you know you are around women that are menstruating? Pls tell….
I am sure that they will not shout that out. However your own wife can let you know that she is not available. If you are thinking of being unclean by inadvertent touching of an unclean person, let me remind you that virtually everybody is unclean through eating pig etc etc. We live in an unclean world today; that does not mean that we should not do what we can in matters that we have control over. We should also understand that the laws of clean and unclean have their spiritual counterparts in avoiding contamination by sin. That certainly includes vicarious sins. James
