These leaders if they don't follow Mr. Armstrong, are therefore interjecting themselves BETWEEN Mr. Armstrong and the Body of Christ! Satan has got God's people to follow men, men that God did NOT send(Apostle). God Sent Herbert W Armstrong as the End Time Elijah( the only one, there can't be TWO "End-Time" Elijah's that is Not biblical) He sent him as our Apostle to who we look to , as He did with Moses with the Israelites, as He did with the original Apostles to the First Century Church. People get too focused on the man, yes the man has flaws, but take a look at WHO Sent him,and it doesn't matter about the flaws, because then you'll know that God is behind him, and you know that God will mend those flaws, and take them out of the Man he sent. Moses wasn't perfect. Noah wasn't perfect(but in his Genealogy he was perfect). There are NO perfect men on earth in all the History of men. The only one Was Jesus Christ! That is who we should look to. Not some man( but we must look to the man he sent, That man was Herbert W Armstrong). Look at their fruits. if they have fruits that God is behind them( in God I mean God the Creator NOT God of this World) then Follow them AS they Follow Christ! The Only leader of the Church in this Era that Followed Christ by everything he taught, by every doctrine from the Bible, by Every TRUTH from the Bible, WAS Herbert W Armstrong. Others have came preaching another Gospel
There is a double curse on anyone who perverts and preaches another Gospel(which Mr. Armstrong brought to the Nations as a witness, and taught ). God restores ALL THINGS to him. Anyone who says that any part of those thing's(which God Restored through Mr. Armstrong) are wrong is twisting(or by biblical wording "perverting") the gospel and Truth.it is much safer to return back to God through Herbert W Armstrong. It has always amazed me that God was such a weak impotent creature that His word was lost for 1,900 years until Herbert popped onto the scene.
These Armstrongites that believe this baloney mock those men and women who lived the gospel through out the centuries. Many died for it. But yet, the Armstrongites only believe a few people in the mountains of France and Switzerland held on to the truth and preserved it so Herbert could gain access to it in the 1930's after his wife had a nightmare.
The hundreds of thousands of non-sabbatarians who died throughout the centuries to bring the word of God to other generations were just little pawns in the game, I guess. What a wimpy little god that would allow such a thing to happen. But yet, that is the god that Armstrongism follows.

NO2SIN: How correct you are! These apostates here have abandoned God and have turned into nasty people. God is going to hold them accountable and will have to stand before Mr. Armstrong and Christ to beg for forgiveness! They have lost their chance now, but might have a glimmer of hope in the millennium when they are reeducated. They certainly will NOT be in the first fruits.

We'll be fine thanks. The Deity likes us because we think things through, ask questions and aren't god haunted in the least. Jesus likes us because we stir up the pot and overturn a table or two.

That's probably true. Mr. Armstrong, may Allah bless him, probably got between more people and God ,still now as then, than we would like to admit.
But I don't think he meant to. I just think he got stubborn and where no one could tell him or teach him anything and that never bodes well for growing in grace and knowledge.

This concept of government from the top down actually usurps and counters the work of the Holy Spirit, who works from the bottom up, transforming one Christian human heart at a time. Gov't from the top down was known as the Jethro system in the Old Testament, and is one of the shadows which can blind people to the New Covenant.
Upon Jesus' human death, the veil to the temple was torn "from the top down" giving all believers direct access to the Father, a personal relationship with God. When Christians are walking in the spirit, they don't need a human ministerial police force regulating their every action and enforcing pharisaic doctrines. God's Spirit gently prompts them. They can, in this process, be edified by older, more mature Christians who have learned how to listen to our "Helper". However, these "elders" are non-intrusive, and non-authoritarian. Some have described them as spiritual guides, while others call them accountability partners.
This lack of understanding of the Holy Spirit is manifested by the great disunity leading to all of the ACOG splinters which God has figuratively spewed from His mouth. The only thing which preserved unity in the old school WCG was HWA's legendary anger and temper tantrums, which are clearly described in the Bible as not being of the Holy Spirit!
I truly hope God forgives HWA, although the Bible is pretty harsh in its description of the punishments God has in store for false teachers and false prophets. One of the things I realized I needed to do when God came back into my life was to forgive HWA for all of the hurt, toxicity, and outright evil which he had brought into my life, and actually in my own mind to forgive God Himself for allowing people like HWA to walk the earth, breathe and teach their falsehoods. That was most definitely the right thing to do, because the healing and transformation that Jesus Christ initiated within me began almost immediately thereafter. I now enjoy a dynamic, two-way, interactive relationship with God, something I had never enjoyed through WCG legalism.
We should be praying for all of the people still mired in HWA's personality cult, that God would open their minds.

Did HWA replace Jesus? If so, how does that agree with 1Tim 2:5?

FYI - the word men and the word man in this verse is the same Greek word, anthropos, which means a human being.
Does that mean Jesus, the man, was once between us and God but now it's the man HWA? Also, If Jesus is man and God, does that mean Jesus is between himself and man? But then again, the answer must be that the word "God" must be the father God. OR maybe HWA is between us and both of the Gods. But of course that is not correct according to 1Tim 2:5.
But then again,it could not have been Jesus the "Christos" in 1Tim 2:5, because according to what we have been taught, Jesus was no longer a man at this time, he was God, or at least one of them.
But how are we to know? I get so confused with all my questions and trying to use logic and reason. Does anyone have any answers???? (Besides the ones I used to accept)

Some Folks truly believe that HWA was GOD's GOD Almighty him to “Restored All Things" to HIS Church, Preached the Gospel to the world for a witness to all nations, Prepared the Way of the Lord, Warned The Nations of Israel the World and GOD's own Church, and many other things. I am one of these people. I am not ashamed of that! How is it that the only people that have a right to post their opinion are the ones that are HWA haters? If anyone that Believes and supports Herbert W. Armstrong "Dares" to stand up for him, then, they are Viciously attacked and ganged up on, and if the person tries to defend his position and use God's Truth to shed light on the subject, then, they are removed from the forum or blog by the moderators that claim to support Mr. Armstrong! Something is really wrong here! To those that were Baptized into that Truth in the Worldwide Church of God under Mr. Armstrong, May I remind you of the Covenant that you made with GOD was to continue to Walk "The Way" that you were taught under the Elijah. Life is full of choices, and this is a big one. John 13:34-35, Christ tells HIS followers that the sign to show the world that we are Christ's True followers is that we Love (Agape) one another. If you love one another and people are trying to trash that person while he is gone, and you allow it without confronting them and standing up for that loved one that is not present to defend himself, then my friend, you do not love that person. I Love Mr. Armstrong and choose to defend his Honor in his absence just as I do GOD The FATHER, JESUS CHRIST, Mr. Armstrong and God’s Precious Truth! I suggest those in the Body of Christ do the same. That is the test for us all. GOD "must" know with each one of us whether or not we Love (Agape) HIM, and, Do we believe the man HE sent, and "The Way" GOD Gave us? and will we "Love" GOD and HIS Truth enough to stand up for HIM/It even when others "Gang up" on us? My answer is clear! Some attacked Moses in his time also. When they denied the Authority of Moses, they denied the GOD that sent Moses! So says GOD! To those that know the Truth & were baptized into it, The same is true with Mr. Armstrong, If you Love Christ that sent Mr. Armstrong, then, defend him if you are True Followers of Christ. Would you Marry a Bride that would not stand up for her Betrothed Husband in his absence against attackers? (If you do, Be "Bold in The Spirit" as Paul was and don't be afraid to make a stand as GOD is waiting to see if you "Love" HIM enough to do so! Remember, perfect Love casts out fear, Fear GOD not men!) I would not marry such a woman, and, Jesus Christ won't either! This post may or may not be posted but, everyone has their opinion and (Contrary to popular opinion) so do I. I bear absolutely no ill will towards anyone and Love even those that hate me and do pray for all.
