My conscience finally forced me to leave LCG a couple of years ago, and I was very lonely at first. I got involved in some community groups and interest groups to meet people, and within maybe six month I had made some friends who were much better friends than anyone I had known in LCG. These were real friends, not just people trying to use me while they were playing church.
LCG members, consider this: there are fewer than 10,000 of you in the whole world. Your church has existed for less than 20 years. Your church's leader has a long documented record of lying and of strange sexual obsessions that his handlers filter from most church members.
Does it stand to reason that your life, or your eternity, will be worse if you leave LCG? The ministers are experts in fear-induction, but if you look closely you will see that they, too, are frightened victims of an evil system that denies the true power of Jesus Christ.
Most of Meredith's own children don't practice the same things Meredith forces on LCG members, yet he gives them money that came from the tithes of faithful, frightened members. Why isn't he equally generous with the widows in his church?
I know it may seem frightening, but I urge you: GET OUT OF THE CHURCH OF ROD! You will be spiritually healthier, and much happier, once you do.
This is a perfect metaphor of how I felt my life in the church was. I felt like I was getting sucked into a hole I could never get out of. It was the most godless mess of perverse teachings I have ever seen.
I don't feel like that image in a splinter group. I can understand why many may feel like that. But that black hole vortex pulling everything in is the cold heartless corporate church organisations. Where brethren are mere chattel to be dispersed with at whim. A mere number. I can make the difference between that and Isaiah 41:13 where God talks about holding our hand and how He will help.
