Do we "let the cure be worse than the problem itself"? President Trump thinks so. This program shows the dangerous consequences of governmental measures causing unparalleled suffering for
our people and incredible damage to our economy, with fears of massive suicides and even civil war.
Why is the public "asleep at the wheel,"
when it comes to mounting violations of our constitutional rights and freedoms?
One thing so many of the Church of God leaders have in common is that they are tone-deaf to reality and the world around them.
Norbert Link thinks this is just a little virus and the President and the world is overreacting to the situation. Who cares if there are a few thousand dead around the world, it is far less than the amount that dies of regular flu.
I finally realized who Norbert Link sounds like...Colonel Klink!

To be honest I think Norbert has been posting to this site, downplaying the virus.
Link has to be one of the most irritating wannabe prophets of the church. Everything about him reeks of fakeness. I will take Bob Thiel's flailing limp wrists any day over Link's Raymond McNair impression.
SNEAK PREVIEW: CEG Feast Site, 2020
Link.... YOU STINK!
Given that Norbert Klink is in a high risk group, he might want to consider the following cautionary tales.
Landon Spradlin, age 66 a Christian evangelist who, believing the pandemic response to be anti-Trump “mass hysteria,” took his family to New Orleans to “wash it from its sin and debauchery.”
Spradlin was in New Orleans with his wife, Jean, when he started getting sick. On their way back home on March 17, his condition worsened to the point where he could hardly breathe.
Testing positive for COVID-19 and suffering from double pneumonia, he died around 4 a.m. Wednesday in Concord, North Carolina, according to the family.
Spradlin was likely already infected when on March 13 he posted a highly misleading meme suggesting that the current virus response was “mass hysteria” created by the media for no reason other than to hurt Donald Trump.
That same day he shared a post telling a “true” story of a missionary who cared miraculously for bubonic plague victims without himself succumbing to the illness. That post explained that “As long as I walk in the light of that law [of the Spirit of life], no germ will attach itself to me.”
Meanwhile, the BBC reports from India that a Sikh priest, who had ignored advice to self quarantine after returning from a trip to Italy and Germany, has died. The man, identified as Baldev Singh, 70, had visited a large gathering to celebrate the Sikh festival of Hola Mohalla shortly before his death.
A week after his death, 19 of his relatives tested positive – and the authorities in the northern state of Punjab have quarantined around 40,000 residents from 20 villages following a Covid-19 outbreak linked to Singh.
It's one thing if Norbert wants to put himself in harms way. Unfortunately, in this case, doing so necessarily thrusts everyone else around him into harm's way as well.
Is this Norbert Link?
Most of the time people like flat earthers who seem to deny science just to be perverse, or to attract attention, are just amusing. Those who deny the corona virus actually present a danger to all of society, because they will refuse to modify their behavior to prevent it from spreading.
These cretinous ACOG leaders might actually end up with their names inserted into news items much like the Spradlin or Singh narratives in 2:45's comment above.

No-to-burt should consider the old in his corporation and give them a break from his shitty sermons for at least 2-3 weeks. It just very well save the life of a blue ribbon tithe payer which as we know are the most important people on earth, or so we have heard.
One thing I will say however, we’re supposed to blindly trust apocalyptic models produced by panic-mongering political hacks, but ignore the man who says the drug brought him back from the brink of death, even though his story can be easily verified and theirs cannot.
Anyone care to come back on this one?
We honestly don't know exactly how this virus will effect all of us. Can we really believe the reports from China? I have 2 family members that have the virus. They live far away from me and are experiencing minor symptoms thus far. The virus just got REAL to me.
Wake-up Norbert!!! This is a highly contagious virus. This isn't attack just on the COG. Most of us are used to listening to messages at home, and staying away from gestapo-like "ministers" like you. We avoid your kind like the plague!!!
Thanks for the laughs.
More like Sgt Schultz I know NO-THING
What Norbert and some of these other simpletons don't realize is that for every civilized country on planet Earth, on each of our checkerboards, the enemy corona virus checker came up between the economy checker and the death checker. A choice had to be made as to which of those checkers was going to be allowed to be jumped. In our case, the economy checker was jumped. Now, a 2 trillion dollar bomb has been dropped to redeem our jumped checker. It may work, but what's left if there is a second large scale emergency any time soon?
The good news and bad news is that the global financial chaos caused by this virus is going to end up being equally unfair to the economies of all nations. This thing is going to require years to recover from. Severe economic conditions have been known to start wars.

I'll bite.
COVID-19 has similar rates of mortality and transmission as the "Spanish Flu" pandemic in 1918 which killed anywhere from 17M to 50M people. At that time the population was under 2 billion. We now have 4 times as many people, so project 68M to 200M people today assuming similar actions taken to combat it now as were taken then.
This is not an "apocalyptic model produced by panic-mongering political hacks" which cannot be verified. This is history. It is not "blind trust" to notice that history tends to, if not repeat itself, at least to rhyme. We fail to learn from history at our peril.
Secondly, I'm not sure who this man is, or what drug supposedly brought him back from the brink of death, but taking this story at face value, there's two serious problems with this scenario that make it unverifiable and meaningless.
1) It's an anecdote. Anecdotes are not statistics, and they are meaningless for populations. Even if we did assume the cause-and-effect relationship for argument's sake between the drug and the recovery, just because it worked for one person does not mean it would work for most people.
2) The cause-and-effect relationship that is being carelessly assumed to exist between the administration of the drug and the subsequent recovery can never be verified. Even double-blind placebo-controlled randomized clinical trials cannot establish cause-and-effect relationships, only statistically significant correlations. Which of these measures to eliminate bias were employed in this anecdote?
There's a reason why the FDA doesn't approve drugs based on anecdotal stories like this. Only a fool would do that. But that's exactly what we're being implored to do. Sloppy thinking at its finest. Not sure the origin, but the whole thing smacks of being motivated by polarized political biases as well.
Norbert is a terrible presenter. What makes him think he's suited to this schtick? Just because he's made himself over to look like a Raymond McNair Mini-Me?
Besides being nearly unintelligible due to his accent, his delivery is about the most lifeless I've seen. Who is going to take him up on his invitation to tune into his Saturday cybercast? I can't imagine.
Bob Thiel, while suffering from awful reasoning and a multitude of personal quirks is, if nothing else, lively and entertaining, even if his entertainment value is only comic relief.
Watching Norbert is akin to watching the dead bury the dead.

I disagree that this virus is on a scale close or equal to the Spanish flu of 1918.In Italy it may seem so. They live so close together and have a larger population of elderly.
As too the drugs for this virus, there are more and more stories coming out on this. We will have top wait and see but if I had some rather severe breathing issues I would be requesting the drugs also.
As to the FDA they allow drugs to be used for other purposes. If someone has to wait for testing and has a high chance of dying what are you going to do? Tell the patient the medicine could harm him as he/she lays there dying?
By the way, thank's for biting. Its good to share ideas and views.
Some shameless self promotion here...
The coronavirus outbreak vs. the Spanish flu.
If Mr. Link is in the U.S. and thinks his first amendment rights are being stymied, the courts are open to....
Oh, yeah. Courthouses are closed in some states as a health precaution these days, too.
It's noteworthy that the ACLU has been silent on all the state restrictions. It's suing instead to get inmates released so they don't develop the virus. As if the virus isn't outside the jail walls, anyway?!
For those who want to hear both sides of the story, I suggest TheTrumpet.com article called "How junk science shut down the world."
