I don't know God's record regarding healing leukemia but I DO know that the medical profession's track record is dismal at best. But they are very good at hiding their failures and exacturaratting their successes!
If the purpose of these podcasts, in part, is to warn people off of Armstrongism and the Armstrongist splinters, then the podcasts will need to include those that maintained their faith but see how Armstrong adversely affected their thinking, hurt families, and delayed their maturing as Christians.
I stated this before listening to the podcast of Jesse Moskel. While he has not kept his Christian faith per se, he does not seem far from it. While catharsis has some benefits perhaps, those mainly focused on race, sexuality, genderism, empowerment, etc are not generally the ones that might gravitate toward Armstrongism, but sincere Christians of any stripe might be in an effort to “do what is right”. They are the ones that need to hear about the damage done in the cogs simply by not understanding the full sacrifice and the full justification. While at the same time teaching how they are the only real Christians.
I totally agree with Jim's analysis. On the #3 podcast, Glynn says the policy that bothered him the most was "no white girls"!! He says nothing concerning "abuse".
--No tithing abuses or abuse by the ministry
--No medical abuse
--No abuses caused by Sabbath or holydays observance
--No real damage caused by false prophecy scare tactics
He hammers away at Racism but most of that sounds like mere confirmation bias. Besides, to sell his podcast in this day and age, nothing sells better than racism and white supremacy. He better be careful though, this could backfire! He could end up bringing more people in than warning them to stay out!
