I know a lot of women in the church who are better grounded in the Bible and what it means than many of the men and certainly many of the ministry! They are also far better teachers!
"Blessed and Happy is the Man" has to be one of the most despised songs in the old Hymnal.
Actually Blest and Happy is the man was written by King David. Music by Dwight Armstrong. Great song and can be played in wide variety of styles. Excellent when played as a fast bluegrass tune. One night at a church talent show, a black man who is a longtime deacon sang the song in a slow blues/gospel style. People loved it. He got a lot of applause.
