A lot of crazy COG related stuff pops up in my feed and todays is off the charts.
There is a "nation simulation game" called NationStates that was created by popular novelist Max Barry which is loosely based on his book, "Jennifer Government".
Crackpot Flurry is now part of that game. Check this craziness out:
The Theocracy of Pastor Gerald Flurry is a tiny, environmentally stunning nation, renowned for its restrictive gun laws. The hard-working, devout population of 7 million Church of Philadelphias are highly moralistic and fiercely conservative, in the sense that they tend to believe most things should be outlawed. People who have good jobs and work quietly at them are lauded; others are viewed with suspicion.
The medium-sized, moralistic government is dominated by the Department of Spirituality, although Healthcare, Welfare, and Law & Order are also considered important, while Industry is ignored. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 21.2%.
The strong Pastor Gerald Flurryian economy, worth 364 billion Philadelphia Church of God Dollars a year, is fairly diversified and led by the Trout Farming industry, with major contributions from Soda Sales, Pizza Delivery, and Cheese Exports. Average income is 52,011 Philadelphia Church of God Dollars, with the richest citizens earning 5.6 times as much as the poorest.
A well-funded social safety net protects the unfortunate, organ donation is compulsory, tourists from around the world come to visit the country's famous rainforests, and fewer people are bathing as citizens must show ration stamps before they can turn on their faucets. Crime is almost non-existent, despite the fact that it is difficult to make it through a day without breaking one of the country's many laws. Pastor Gerald Flurry's national animal is the Key of David, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.
Either AI wrote this or someone high on drugs. As fun as it is, you can almost picture Flurry in such a world. The need to call him Pope Flurry instead Pastor General.
I can't wait till they do Bob Thiel!

The simulation game for Flurry should really be called "Booby Trap"!!
NationStates? That game's been around forever!
And that is the summary the game writes of your nation's current status based on your choices when considering different issues.
Maybe the Kingdom of God will have crypto-currency.
Gerald Flurry might issue it to you, for you to give 11% right back to him.
But it would only work in areas he controls. Not those suspicious parts of the Kingdom overseen by Gerald Weston or Jim Franks.
It's definitely got some satiric value to it. In the 1950s, HWA had us living as separatists. No fellowship with unconverted relatives, keep your distance from neighbors and colleagues who were not in the church, hide in the back rooms of your house with the lights out on Halloween, etc. Flurry certainly has amplified these practices for the new generations in the present.
Really, to thrive in Armstrongism, one must enjoy being both an ascetic, and a pariah. Not everyone has that type of stamina. A black person I once knew even described it as "being black twice".
All the ACOG splinter leaders are effectively Popes (Emperors) and their ministers little popes (emperors). They sure love their sedan chairs.
"Crime is almost non-existent, despite the fact that it is difficult to make it through a day without breaking one of the country's many laws."
This is spot on lol.
GTA's own 2 hands were booby traps
