Well, Dave and the Bible are both false. Too many errors in each.

"The Bible is false if Christ doesn't come when I say."

Dave already knows that Christ hasn't come when Dave has said. So we can only conclude that, in the privacy of his heart, Dave believes the Bible is false. In which case he must feel that he has free rein to scam the gullible.

Wow! Join the atheist contingent of the Banned community, Dave! Never thought you'd come around, but your latest is so similar in impact to some of our regular participants here! Welcome, Bra!

Like most preachers, it seems.

I think we're watching typical ACOG end of life angst here. It's what happens when people live a life of sacrifice and repression following a nice big juicy carrot on a string with bold, black letters that spell out "The End", and they suddenly experience that classic "Oh $h*t! moment as they realize that they're not going to get validated before they die. Must be a collossal bummer.

Unbelief amongst religious leaders both male and female is an epidemic that all the COG's turn a blind eye to. No articles are ever written on the subject. No sermons ever preached. How could they, they'd be talking about themselves. Instead they fill the pulpits with the latest books they've read, fake empathy, respect for persons and bullying..Yet many articles and books exist addressing the subject and extensive studies have discovered it to be an epidemic amongst the ministry and religious leaders.
The fact it is never mentioned is a terrible sign and in my opinion an severe contributing factor in the demise of Christianity in the COG. They drag their feet in visiting brethren but run like athletes to the latest 'conference'. They preach to entertain themselves and neglect is rampant. This is the state of Christianity as a broad and I'm not even touching upon other severe subjects of abuse .
