PCG: Flurry Elite Travel In Style In Corporate Jet On Backs Of Tithing Members

After PCG members were TOLD to raise money and give extra offerings to buy Gerald Flurry his own private jet so he did not have to travel sitting next to the unwashed masses on commercial jets, the PCG bought their own jet and painted it to look  just like Herbert Armstrong's. Flurry has never used the jet yet to travel to world leaders and preach his fake gospel, instead his grand kids and Lil'Stevie jet  around the world to the British campus and to Irish Dance competitions and productions.

In that first pic, looks like they misspelled Celiac.

Focus on the jet if you wish - but booking the Ryman Auditorium and putting on a show there is quite a big deal. Ask any aspiring country music performer.

History. Prestige. Memories that those students (and adult performers?!) will never forget.

I'm really curious if it was cheaper for them to use there corporate jet to fly from Okl to Nashville and back, based on the jets operating cost, compared to just buying round trip tickets from an airline?

Nice to see the convenience for the Flurry clan at just a nominal $5000 an hour cost for flight time, making an eternal difference for mankind.

HWA disguised the Gospel to foreign leaders, being ashamed of it and all that, by referring to it as "A strong arm from somewhere". Perhaps Gerald Flurry believes he will do the same but with bouncy clicky feet from somewhere? At church expense of course.

Musical performance that is clean, wholesome and of high quality that God would be pleased in accordance with Mr Herbert Armstrong's "go for quality and the finest in life" approach. Another Armstrong legacy that lives on.

Maybe ole Gerald could get another story on Fox 25. He seemed to really enjoy their expose. Maybe they will ask for a detailed letter of PCOG's expenditures and some of the salaries, while also looking at some the suicides & broken families that he has caused. I am sure that he will say they "are being attacked by Satan" and probably proclaim a churchwide fast. Maybe the lay membership will respond by giving him a "tithing fast."

No! The dancers take a tour bus.
And perhaps you should add up the pilot, jet fule, hanger, maintenance, flight staff
LOL

At tithe payers expense! A show for Jude!

This is their “work” now.
No growth
Failed prophecies
Shrinking membership
But Amy has put together a smashing show! Bravo 👏🏼

What's new ? Even the low level ministry claim 'travel expenses' for going to services. The vast majority of ministry are all buming off the tithe paying members in one way or another.

A 7 hour first class ticket from New York to Europe costs $8000. A big price difference to $5K per hour.

Yes, this is the main work of the PCG. Somehow this is a "warning message" to the US and possibly the UK? Is this what a "god" is now telling the PCG to do? What happened to GRF flying around the world to preach the Gospel? I suppose getting married was more important that doing God's Work...

I always wondered what Herbie's pilots did during downtime (99% of the time) when they weren't actually piloting the 'Flying Whorehouse'? Surely they had the 'best job in the world'(on our dime!)

Like what did they do when the 'End-time Apostle' was 'called away' to ,say, Rome or Tokyo, living it up at five-star hotels & restaurants? Did they just kind of goof off (on our dime), or did they also get the five-star Herbie/Rader/Flurry posh treatment?

I am puzzled by this. Generally, I do not read thoroughly the posts concerning this particular Splinter Group. I know they are somehow connected with Irish Dance. But the oddness of that issue never really provoked me to look further. I am myself mostly Celtic and know something of Celtic history. I know there is a thread of ancient paganism that runs through the Isles. It took me just a few seconds on the internet to find this:

"Although the exact roots and origins of early Irish dancing are lost in time, there is evidence to suggest a linkage between early forms of Celtic dance and that of modern Irish dance. The Celts were sun worshippers who practiced a pagan dance within a circular formation of stones which has some commonality to the circular formation of Irish set dancing. Celts were also said to have danced clockwise in circles on happy occasions and anti-clockwise when mourning.

"They often included movements which involved repeated tapping of the feet on one spot – shades of Sean Nós – and modern solo dancing as well as setting steps in Irish and Scottish group dances." (Celtic Steps webpage, article titled "History of Irish Dance")

Sounds like an connection to me. Armstrongists are famous for ferreting out alarming pagan connections in the commonplace features of our culture. You would think Christmas was invented by Samhain himself. Why are these Splinterists lax in their duty to find an audit trail leading to paganism for Irish Dance? I found an audit trail in just a few seconds and a couple of Google searches.

Of course, I don't care if Irish Dance has pagan connections or not. I enjoy Irish Dance and see those connections as insubstantial and insignificant in the modern context. But, then, I am not a Splinterist.

Yes, as Anon 7:02 said, bouncy clicky feet from somewhere - a quality addition to the Great Commission.

Quality entertainment, a pathetic false Gospel message. Members and coworkers are getting what they pay for!

Any good cost calculator will tell you the Gulf Stream jet cost almost $6,000 per hour to run, not accounting for airport and pilot fees. Round trip would cost at least $18,000, compared to commercial flights at $400 per person, round trip.

PCG members skills look at where their offerings and tithes are going!!

In competition with the Irish Catholics!

There is Cornelius Horan, the Irish Catholic priest who "dances for peace". This was the inspiration for Father Finnegan, the Dancing Priest, who died from a heart attack due to excessive dancing, in the Irish sitcom Father Ted.

Maybe our favorite investigator of Catholicism, Bob Thiel, has something to say about all this dancing malarkey.

YES!!!! I’m so glad someone else actually noticed this.

"Maybe our favorite investigator of Catholicism, Bob Thiel, has something to say about all this dancing malarkey."

Bob's opinion doesn't matter, besides, he does the corncob dance so Celtic dance would be pagan to him.

Anonymous said...

It’s absolutely of pagan origin but on a whim they decide to say it is THE dance that David danced. There is ZERO proof of this. None what so ever. In fact to the contrary there is ample evidence you can research your self, very quickly of where it did actually originate. This is simply a twisting and manipulating so that the Flurries can put on a dance show for Jude and the rest of his family, and poor tithe payers expense. This is not any type of “work”. It so sad that there are people in there who can’t afford to go to the dentist or fix their hot water heater, without charging it to their credit card, because every last penny has to go to support this.

Jewish dances that I have seen do not seem to have an evolutionary connection to Irish dancing. The scant descriptions in the OT involve timbrels and rattles - items not found in Irish dancing. It must be an interesting story that explains how a type of dance was transported from Jews in Palestine anciently to a nation of Gentile people in Ireland - and no other cultural imports came along with the dance form.

I would speculate that GTA might have persued Irish dance avidly. Country music did not seem to go anywhere. But I don't think it became popular until Riverdance. I think the leaders of the WCG were always hungry for a big media presence. Just never happened in a creditable way.

THE dance that David danced

My first take on David's dance - and Michal's reaction - was akin to the joke about the reeling Scotsman who forgot to put on his jock strap.

Gerald Flurry's so-called “New Commission.”

Changing the commission of the entire church is a big deal. While the apostate Tkaches were throwing out of the Worldwide Church of God virtually everything that Herbert W. Armstrong had ever taught, Gerald Flurry used all that confusion to make some major doctrinal changes in his own little PCG splinter group while falsely pretending to be faithfully holding on to everything that HWA had taught.

Gerald Flurry's satanic PCG imposter cult started off by immediately suppressing the “Great Commission” to preach the true gospel of the kingdom of God to the whole world for a witness to all nations, and by replacing it with a “new commission” to “warn the Laodiceans” by acting like jerks towards former WCG members who could possibly warn PCG cult members about what Gerald Flurry was actually doing.

“PCG: Flurry Elite Travel In Style In Corporate Jet On Backs Of Tithing Members”

Spending millions of dollars on a private jet for his own personal and selfish reasons is the least of Gerald Flurry's faults.

The big basic problem is that Gerald Flurry is Satan's false prophet who was sent and directed to undo everything that Herbert W. Armstrong had taught while always using HWA's name and photograph and falsely claiming to be faithfully holding on to everything that HWA had taught.

In the heyday of the Worldwide Church of God (under HWA), their biggest and most successful efforts to reach people were through the mediums available at the time: radio, print magazines and TV.

Fast forward to 2021 and it's like the PCG is living in the 1980s. My point is, they are more concerned about looking like the WCG under HWA than they are in truly being effective.

The internet is the greatest broadcast medium ever created. Combined with the incredible targeted messaging tools that are offered by Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, they could serve up ads straight to their desired audience for pennies per click. Instead they are flying a $15 million dollar jet around to bring a dance troop performing for hundreds of people at a time and calling that a 'work'.

Not that I care, they just don't seem to be particularly good at utilizing the technology available.

Pretty sure they purchase followers on Twitter too, otherwise they’d be getting more “likes” on their tweets, for their almost 6000 followers.

I find no warning to the Laodiceans on their internet site.

Here is how Gerald Flurry did away with the “great commission” to preach the gospel of the kingdom of God to the whole world (The CAPITALIZATION for emphasis is Gerald Flurry's.):

From MALACHI'S MESSAGE by Gerald R. Flurry:

“SO THE GOSPEL COMMISSION TO THE WORLD WAS FINISHED WHEN MR. ARMSTRONG DIED.”

Here is how Gerald Flurry REPLACED the “great commission” to preach the gospel of the kingdom of God to the whole world with a NEW commission for his PCG:

From MALACHI'S MESSAGE by Gerald R. Flurry:

“The PCG has been commissioned by God to warn the Laodiceans about their sins. The whole book of Malachi is about this commission.”

(From Malachi's Message posted online at the PCG's website.)

The Method of Operation of the Mad False Prophets

Satan's #1 false prophet (Gerald Flurry) and Satan's #2 false prophet (David Pack) both use similar methods to deceive. They produce large amounts of literature and noise to overwhelm the senses of their readers and listeners. Within all the confusing literature and mind-numbing noise are many serious perversions of the truth.

They (Flurry and Pack) start off preying on former Worldwide Church of God people by pretending to be Herbert W. Armstrong's most loyal and faithful followers, and true successors, who then quickly promote themselves to every high position they can think of.

These false prophets (Flurry and Pack) fuss and complain endlessly about every little real and imagined doctrinal change that others have supposedly made, but then they both go on to pass off their own GIGANTIC DOCTRINAL CHANGE WHOPPERS that they came up with as wonderful new truth that has been revealed to them directly by God and that everyone must now suddenly accept without question in order to prove that they are converted and not get kicked out of the cult.
