The Adventure Camp is now in the books for this year, and all returned from their successful 45-mile trip in Voyageurs National Park. Many staff members will be traveling this week or Sunday for Staff Orientation to prepare for the start of Teen Camp in Athens, Texas, on Wednesday of next week. Your prayers for all these activities and everything else we do around the world are heard and appreciated.

Living Church of God's Teen Summer Camps starts today in the exact same campgrounds that Church of God Assembly used for the last few weeks for their summer camp program. The campgrounds are tied in to the Seventh Day Adventists. This is also the same summer camp where the alleged demon possession of a high-ranking CGA minister's child took place.
A reader sent this:
LCG started their youth camp yesterday at the same camp that Sheldon just left. You'd think Gerry would have reconsidered seeing as the Fitz boy was 100% fine when he arrived and "demon possessed" 5 days later. If I thought there were demons roaming a church campsite - seeking children to posses, I'd cancel camp or relocated it. Seems negligent and reckless.
Did LCG send out a letter to parents letting them know there were demons at the camp? I mean if there was lice or bedbugs parents would be notified. You'd think l parents might like to make an informed decision before shipping little junior off... but maybe they think the LCG pharisees have more powerful powers of protection than Sheldon and his racist group of heretics.

Demons are spirit and can go anywhere on earth, unless a Angel or Archangel stops them.
We know very little about how the spirit world operates at this time. Which is most probably for our own saftey and peace of mind.
Christians can rebuke and remove an evil demon spirit in the name of Jesus Christ. There is great power in the name of Jesus, despite the sacred names movement propaganda that it's the wrong name.
Christians are not to be afraid of paranormal situations.
Any LCG person worth their salt should boldly pray over and try and clean the camp area if its become 'haunted'.
For the record: COGWA's "Camp Lone Star" in June was at a different location, near Texas A&M.
You are incorrect. Go to both church's website and you'll see that the address is exactly the same for both, Lone Star Camp, 6829 FM 317, Athens, TX 75752
Ignore my previous comment, I didn't notice you said COGWA.
Assembly left Sunday morning and LCG came in Sunday afternoon. I highly doubt they had any idea what took place at Assembly’s camp. So what were they supposed to do?
It wasn’t 5 data later, it was during the middle of the second week. But you’re right! It could be the place!
Sheldon contacted ministry from multiple splinter groups to ask for help with the exorcism and to request prayers and fasting. A minister from UCG offered help (bless him for crossing counter group lines). Westin 100% knew.
Mark 16:17: Jesus states that believers will cast out demons in his name.
Sheldon and his minions have failed to remove the demon after attempting to for days so we can clearly discern that they are not "believers". We already knew that of course but it must come as a shock to him and the people who blindly follow his racist cult teachings. I'm sure they are all meeting now to try to figure out who to blame for their failed attempts. Not one of them has the depth of character to self examine and find themselves lacking.
So, either they are spiritual pussies, or the kid has undergone a psychotic break.
I have to ask. How many other ACOG leaders would reach out to other splinter groups, and who would have imagined that one would actually respond??? Perhaps there will be a major trouble in the future that actually causes the reunification of Armstrongism?
