Sheldon Monson Claims Many Demons Have Been Cast Out, But...

Sheldon Monson's ongoing battle with the spiritual realm continues. He claims that "many demons were cast out, but one blasphemous entity remains." According to him, these demons were not only present at the Texas summer camp but also in the hometown of the young person allegedly possessed.

Thankfully someone with a wise mind made the decision to take the young person to the hospital after the Monday fast and demon-casting-out day. They claim his body is fine, but is still spiritually tormented by a demon.

Can you imagine the torment this young person is enduring because of these ministers? Their life may be forever altered by this disturbing ordeal.

Sadly, some gullible members of the Churches of God are following this saga closely. When Sheldon proclaims full victory, they may view it as a divine sign in these "end times." Will this lead people to leave their current splinter groups and join him?

The entire situation is beginning to seem increasingly suspicious.

From a reader here that found this on Facebook and another source who supplied the letter:

Mr Sheldon Monson human leader in the Church of God of Assembly, has this message for all of us:

I request you pray and fast for teenager B.. (who became demon possessed at camp) and his family. Your prayers and fasting are greatly appreciated. This fiery trial (I Peter 4:12) has been physically and emotionally draining for Pastor..and their children and families.

During the last several days (both at camp and in their hometown) many demons were cast out – yet one blasphemous evil spirit remains.

God has heard the prayers of His people; He has seen their tears and noted their fasting. He said that strong demons come out by prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21).

The members and the ministers have done what God requires up till now – but we must continue to pray and have faith that God will complete what He has started. He has made it clear that no man has the power to make the demons leave – and that He will be the one to remove them in His time and in His way.

When this is over the glory will go to Him – not any man.

God removes demons and He heals the sick. The ministers are just tools in His hand that do what He has commanded us to do. God is the one with the power to answer our requests.

Sometimes the healing is immediate, sometimes He casts out the demons immediately, and sometimes we must patiently wait. We must not doubt, we must not waiver. Doubt is a faith killer (Matthew 14:28-33).

The Scriptures state "the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him... (Il Chronicles 16:9). Do not lose hope but rather continue to pray fervently (James 5:16) and "Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord" (Psalm 27:14)!

God loves family! He loves the F___ family. Please pray that their family will receive B____ back home free of all these evil spirits and soon. He was taken to the hospital after the fast and it appears that he is ok physically. This is a spiritual problem that God has the power to resolve. Stay strong in the faith.

The young adult son of a COGA minister is telling his father and Sheldon the truth about the HWAcaca? That's freedom, not blasphemy.

This blog is following the saga closely. That's the only way I've been able to keep up with it. So will you take the blame?

Blame for what? That the church has gullible people in it?

The scripture says that "These signs will follow those who believe: they shall cast out demons". Clearly Sheldon and his minions don't believe. As we all know, Armstong-ites do not know Christ. They mention him reluctantly one time a year. I used to sing special music in LCG and on two occasions my musical selection was denied for approval because it was "too Jesus-y". You can't make this poop up. They do not follow Him. They do not know Him. They certainly do not demonstrate His character. Even when I was in the church I used to say that I could take a random sampling of people at a shopping mall or at work and they would likely be more demonstrative of the fruits of the spirit - even if they weren't Christians. These people are racist, elitist and unkind. The backbiting and division is crazy. Collectively they have the emotional intelligence of a gnat. But they keep the Sabbath, holy days and dietary laws so there's that lol. Fail.

some of you crybabies are such miserable people. you despise this blog and what people post here, yet you get your jollies off by keeping up with everything, nothing makes you grumpy people happy

Blame? Typical. Instead of being horrified by the negligence of Sheldon and his racist posse, let's be horrified that the bad behavior and lack of power and authority to rebuke this "demon" have been brought into the light. Sound good?

That boy should have been taken to the hospital for a CT scan to rule out something physiological. Back in the 90's my step dad started acting demon possessed. We did the right thing and took him to the hospital after a few days of observing a normally mild, quiet, normal person act crazy. A CT scan revealed that he had a massive brain tumor in his frontal lobe. They preformed emergency surgery, opened his skull and removed it. Recovery was rough but as soon as the brain swelling subsided, his personality returned to normal. This boy also needs a full psychiatric evaluation WITHOUT the presence of his abusive, mind-controlling parents. This is a definite cry for help.

Poor old Sheldon can't even keep his own story straight. At one point in that letter he says that all the demons were cast out successfully, except for "one blasphemous evil spirit" that remains. But near the end he asks people to pray that B. become freed from "spirits" (meaning more than one). So which is it, Sheldon? Did you and your crew really exorcise all but one of the demons? Or is B. still dealing with multiple demons?

I certainly hope that this does not become an emerging trend within the splinters. Let's face it, each has tried just about everything else in terms of attempting to prove their particular group has the witness of God behind it.

Fake prophecy, fake healings, fake new member stats, accidental ordinations. Are they actually going to involve demons now? Good grief, Charley Brown!

Hey, it's been about a week. Does anyone know if any of Jerry Weston's campers got a demon from camp? Anything on Facebook?

LCG's demon problem left them when Bob Thiel started his group. Even he admits there are major demonic issues in his African churches.

For 25.000 dollars I would have arranged for a pig and have a helicopter throw the pig in the Grand Canyon...

But, nck, it required a herd of swine in Jesus' time.

Don't you dare mess with the Colorado River! I buy Alkaline 88 water for drinking and cooking purposes, but do shower from water supplied by the Colorado River.

All the other gifts of the Spirit vanished during the early centuries of Christianity, and they've been faked by Armstrongism. Why not ability to cast out demons as well? As we've seen in all the comments, how do we even know demons are involved?

As an aside, I don't know Sheldon. What's the basis for the comments regarding racism?

The Lefty Environmentalistists are now preventing the proper Demon Exorcisionism............In the expanded heavens BB will be assigned the planet next to me at Tatooine.....I'll have the race track and he the scenic Harley Drives.....But yeah the cost for this lifestyle will be swine herding for the others...........

Actually, nck, there are some incredibly toxic sites all around the country, lands which had been formerly used for agriculture. People cite the good stewardship which Native Americans practiced in maintaining the land over centuries, and quite rightly so. The main problem we have today is overpopulation. Even if we did pattern our environmental practices after the Native Americans, we now have so many people that the level of pollution would render those methods completely ineffective.

We're making progress, though. Back in the day, if I were riding around the San Gabriel Valley on my Triumph, and my brother in law was in front of me, driving my '51 Mercury, my eyes would be watering from the Merc's exhaust fumes. My Charger today is vastly more powerful, and blows virtually clean exhaust. Yet, it's not enough! The greenhouse gases are still destroying the planet! Cleaning up does no good if the source of the pollution grows at a much faster pace!

That's why I figured it'd be nice to have an island. Small elite group having fun where the cool ocean breezes would dissipate the fumes.

I appreciate the genuine Americana you have provided the past 25 years.

We are kinda like the Forest Gump of the WCG niche in the great tapestry woven into our not so manifest destiny.
