The law—the very law they insist will be enforced worldwide when Christ returns—was, according to the same New Testament they selectively quote, a shadow. A tutor. A pointer. It pointed to Him.
Jesus returns in glory, the King of kings, the One to whom the entire sacrificial system, the Sabbaths, the holy days, and the clean-and-unclean distinctions were pointing……and His first official act is to reinstate the shadow and force everyone to keep it forever.
The same people who spent decades moving the prophetic goalposts, rewriting history, and demanding absolute loyalty while the facts changed underneath them now want us to believe they are the ones who will usher in the “City of Truth.”

It never did make any sense that the law would be enforced after Christ returns when the law was just a mere shadow pointing to Jesus. Why look backward to the law when its fulfillment is walking amongst us?

I’m a New Covenant guy through and through, saved by the grace of God, and my sins are forgiven by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. But, “….never did make sense that the law would be enforced after Christ returns…” What?!? So the law of murder won’t be enforced? The law of adultery won’t be enforced? The law of lying won’t be enforced? What about the spiritual aspect, will you be allowed to lust after a woman after Christ returns? This is what has always genuinely confused me about this site and some of its commenters. I’m saved by grace, but that doesn’t negate God’s instruction, his expectations of us nor the need to repent when we fall short.
Because the law was given to show people how to live in happiness. Without that law, the world has descended into its current situation.

Love fulfills the law. Love does no harm to a neighbor. Reality is the two eternal laws are Love God and love others. But love also requires humility, self-sacrifice and a depth of kindness that religious people struggle with. The attitude become more of “How do I love the unlovable? And why should I!? I’d rather put them outside my circle and claim “they’re not of the household of faith” clearly “they’ll learn someday how right I am” and “they’ll go to church on the right day in the kingdom and then they’ll be worthy of my kindness.”
The reality is the law you are speaking doesn’t need to be delineated in the coming age.
The rest of the law is clarification for evil people. Not making it up, this is what the Bible reveals.
“Now we know that the law is good, if one uses it lawfully, understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine, in accordance with the gospel of the glory of the blessed God with which I have been entrusted.”

All that enforcement to take place is there, as well as God putting his spirit in them to keep the law in their inward parts (Jeremiah 31:33). However the ACOGs groups have an issue with inward law keeping just as the world does now. LCG has had a problem with misinformation, fake news, and conspiracy theories as well. Christ said ones righteousness has to exceed the righteousness of the pharisees. The pharisees "sat at Moses seat" and "were keepers of the law" but something was missing.
I wonder about the differences between the times in which physical beings still exist (Milennium, 100 year period) and the future times when all have graduated into spirit beings. Do spirit beings who are not bound by the time and space continuum need a rest? Do beings who don't eat need to worry about clean and unclean meats? If there is no money, why would there be tithing? Spirit beings obvously would have a high and intense regard for the spirit beings whose system got them to be spirit beings. The :Muslims who got their Abrahamic system second hand, filtered through Ishmael, have this tradition of Houri, or a reward of 72 virgins for martyrs in the afterlife. I don't know why virgins, because sexually speaking, there is huge value to extensive experience, but that's their tradition, not mine. It does raise some questions. Will spirit beings be able to manifest themselves with human bodies, and to enjoy sex with one another, now that there is no marriage, no disease, no nurturing unit required as an environment to raise the young? If there are no possessions, how would spirit beings steal? You can't kill a spirit being so there is no murder, and if we perceive each others thoughts, how would lying even be possible? All of rules regulating very human tendencies seem to have been brought into play for the regulation of humans.
I believe that many people are stuck in human mode as they attempt to visualize eternity. Most people never get past the rules and culture that were given to the Israelites to bring a framework of order, so that freedom could be enjoyed. People whose normal mindset is authoritarian look to being in charge as their reward. They are black and white thinkers, obsessive-compulsive, who have no concept of what it would really be like to exist as a righteous spirit being. When everyone is spirit, there will be no such thing as obsessive compulsive. There will be a new sense of normality, and only the past to compare that with.

The fact that Doug and the LCG stand condemned by their own past failures doesn't change "the importance of truth". What he writes is fairly accurate. We do live in a corrupt system of confusion, fake news and misinformation, and only Jesus Christ can change that.
733, 833, and 947 are all correct, God's ways will be enforced in the Messianic age to come. Unless your intent is to scrap the entire section of the OT known as the " prophets ", there are no contradictions between the 2 testaments. Don't assume or guess, read the following scriptural references.
Upon His return, Christ will be dealing with the profane masses of this world, who could care less about " substance". That would be considered nonsense and foolishness to them (1 Corinthians 1:18, 2:14). But they will LEARN righteousness (Isaiah 26:9), and discipline (Psalms 2:1-9, Isaiah 11:4, Zech.14:17-19, Revelation 2:26-27), for the law of the Lord (called His ways and His paths) will flow from the throne (Isaiah 2:2-4, 66:23-24). In time they will come to appreciate both shadow and substance when all come to repentance and the knowledge of the truth (1 Tim.2:4, 2 Peter 3:9).
We are all contaminated by and suffer certain consequences due to the misinformation and fake news inflicted by those who operate by the principles of this world system. But "truth is important" and when the Lord Jesus Christ appears there will be no doubt as to what is truth and what is not! You can take that to the Bank.

I'm not sure what your point is but yes, truth is truth and truth is important. And I hope that what I previously said is not taken by you to be an endorsement of either the LCG or HWA. A broken clock tells the correct time twice a day. That's the mindset I have towards Doug's article.

Christ will rule in righteousness, but Scripture never says He will resurrect the Sinai covenant. The New Testament calls that covenant obsolete, so your conclusion cannot be right. This fully accepts the prophets: they never teach that the Sinai covenant will be reinstated. They speak of Christ’s rule, not a re‑imposition of Mosaic legislation. Confusing “the law of the Lord” with the old covenant is your fundamental error. This is not theplace to discuss the one feast of tabernacles of Zechariah 14.

You are absolutely correct and I never implied such. Do you even know what a covenant is? It is NOT the law, but in Israel's case, an agreement to keep the law.
The Siani covenant was between God and Israel and was based on whatever God commanded THEM to obey. They said they could and they would (Exodus 19:5-8) but they didn't because they couldn't! The problem was with THEM, not the law (Hebrews 8:8).
That which goes forth out of Zion in the Messianic age, termed " His ways and His paths" is called "the LAW", (Isaiah 2:2-4). Zechariah 14 tells us this includes the feast of Tabernacles.

A covenant is a relationship structured by stipulations, obligations, blessings, and curses, with a legal code attached. In the case of Sinai, the covenant included the Ten Commandments, the civil code, the ceremonial code, the priesthood, the sacrificial system, and the festivals. You cannot separate “the covenant” from “the law,” because the covenant is defined by the law it contains.
