PCG Members Expected To Send In Money To Fund $80,000.00 Jet Rides For Lil'Stevie And The Grandkids

In 2017 the Philadelphia Church of God bought a Gulfstream Jet for the use of Gerald Flurry. It was supposed to be used to visit world leaders like Herbert Armstrong did back in the 1970/1980's. Flurry has never had an original thought in his brain and has to constantly find ways to imitate Herbert Armstrong. The main difference between Flurryand HWA and their jets is that he has never used it to visit world leaders. It is only a private luxury service for himself, Lil'Stevie, the grandkids that are into Irish dance, and certain Edmond HQ elite.

One of the reasons to justify the purchase of the jet was it will allow Flurry to travel in isolation instead of on a commercial aircraft where he would have to sit by unconverted heathens of the world, who might be unwashed, have body order, or carry some disease. God's true servants must be kept untainted from the world!

Gareth Fraser, who at the time wrote this was one of the elitist children of the HQ ministry, says:

"One of the birthright blessings that the descendants of Abraham received from God was the means by which to invent air travel. Wilbur and Orville Wright began the progression to today’s high-tech passenger jet airplanes in 1903 with their four short flights at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. Because of this astounding invention, God’s Work was able to soar to new levels of effectiveness during the 20th century.

Jesus Himself prophesied, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come” (Matthew 24:14). In the sixth era of the Church, the gospel was preached through Herbert W. Armstrong, and in order to most effectively preach the gospel to the world, God’s apostle was required to utilize this invention. Though he had to battle and overcome a fear of flying at first, Mr. Armstrong went on to fulfill this divinely-inspired commission through traveling around the world by plane."

"For the past 28 years, Mr. Flurry has trumpeted the royal vision of God’s “prophesy again” message. He also has walked by foot, driven by car, and flown around the world by aircraft preaching Christ’s gospel. Recently, the pcg acquired a Gulfstream G-450 to aid in fulfilling the commission—just as Mr. Armstrong did. The gospel is once again going around the world, and this time, the completion of the Church’s commission will lead directly to the event that this gospel is centered around: the return of Jesus Christ and the establishment of the Kingdom of God—the government that will finally bring world peace." How the Gospel Was Taken Around the World

On May 2, 2021, Andrew Locher announced that the PCG had paid off the jet:

“The Gulfstream G450 Jet is now paid off. We own it. God’s church is debt free. We don’t own anything to anybody–except to God. We own everything–Edstone, Edmond, all the equipment, the aircraft, the vehicles. We own God’s revelation, the most valuable gift of all.” More Craziness From PCG's Andrew Locher: "PCG is Debt Free, We Own Everything - Even God's Revelations, The Most Valuable Gift Of All!"

Now that the jet is paid off, the PCG is still expecting members to give to the jet fund. It costs them over $80,000 every time it flies Lil'Stevie back and forth to England and Israel and each time Flurry's grandkids have an Irish Dance completion somewhere in the world.

Exit and Support Network has this up by Andrew Locher from July 22, 2022:

“All over the world, brethren continue to sacrifice at record-setting levels,
“ensuring we have the resources to expand God’s Work.
“The expanded projects in Israel have benefited from this increase. Most recently, the UK-Europe-Africa office sent $54,000 to Israel to promote the excavations, as well as full-time staff and students to excavate and renovate.
“…the Church continues to expand our educational efforts around the world.
“…we have had an increase in both income and expense. Our cost of operation continues to increase now that ministers are able to travel.
“As with family budgets, inflation has resulted in rising costs for the Work …
“We are carefully monitoring the budget,
“but with the excavation and new office in Israel, America Under Attack [booklet], replenishment of literature
“inventory all over the world and other projects, we have much to plan for.“During the upcoming ministerial conference, we will have the 16-year inspection/maintenance performed on the Church’s aircraft.
“If possible, please consider making donations to the aircraft fund (only if you are able)
“to help us prepare for this expensive event.

MinistryWatch had this little tidbit about Flurry's jet:

Regarding the Canadair Challenger CL-600-2B16 jet owned by the Rhema Bible Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma; the Tulsa County appraiser’s office told Trinity Foundation investigators that aircraft are not assessed property taxes in Oklahoma. This would include the Philadelphia Church of God’s Gulfstream G450 in Oklahoma City, which is apparently not assessed property taxes as well. Million Dollar Homes Become Status Symbols of Televangelists and Pastors

Twitter has a feed that focuses on the private jets of ministry leaders, including Gerald Flurry and the PCG:

The Trinity Foundation also monitors Gerald Flurry's jet trips: Calculating the Cost of Ministry-Owned Aircraft Flights

Philadelphia Church of God members are bled dry sending on money to finance the extravagant lifestyles of Gerald, Lil'Stevie, the grandkids, and the PCG elite. None of these people suffer financially as they live in church-owned homes, and have all their repair bills, lawn work, etc paid for by the church. They drive church vehicles and receive huge ministerial allowances that allow for gas and other expenses. They are over in need of anything. Yet, the lower masses of the church are seen only as a cash machine to keep the money flowing in.

Sure beats the horses at the Wadsworth Compound. Somebody is envious right about now. LOL

Lost for words.
Imagine the savings if his ‘lordship’ had actually chosen to fly cattle class like the rest of us mere mortals.
The aircraft is purely a vanity buy and of no value to them. But it makes them feel good and closer to their idol HWA.
Logic and ‘smarts’ are surely lacking at HQ, but VANITY is plentiful.
That aside, wonder what the membership numbers are in pcog.
Definitely not an endless cash cow here. Sooner or later reality must bite.

Interesting. I can only imagine the price of jet fuel these days. Back when I had a built Triumph Bonneville with high compression pop up pistons, I used to go to the fuel station at El Monte Airport and buy high octane aviation gas to cut the anemic pump gas available at ARCO, so the bike would run right. It was a couple bucks more than the ARCO Hi Test, but well worth it.

I think it's funny that Andy mentions Wilbur and Orville Wright as a blessing, because they pretty much sealed the deal in terms of making quick and easy immigration possible and, frankly speaking, all of Herbie's little churches believe that integration and multiculturalism are at the very least, less than optimal. From an Armstrongological point of view, international passenger flight has caused the strangers among us to multiply and to rise up against us. The Wright Brothers caused the Samaritanization of "modern day Israel".

Well, if Burger King Gerry continues to literally mimic HWA in every possible way, the suffering members should only have 4 more years to fund the royal jet. Herbie died at 92 and the Burger King is 88, so....

I think yet another calendar countdown is needed. I am running out of post its and refrigerator space for all of these splinter timelines!

It is almost mind blowing the level of arrogance and Hubris Flurry has oozing from his pores. He claimed he needed the jet to visit leaders like HWA did(The only reason ANY of the world leaders gave HWA the time of day was because of the $$$) How many leaders have met with him getting the plane...ZERO. Another one of Gerald's lies. He is "That FALSE. Prophet!!!

I thought Flurry claimed that the post-Armstrong mission for the "church" (his group) was not "Gospel" preaching but the preparing of the kingdom vanguard for the second advent? So it seems contradictory to sell his followers on the need for a jet.
And what comprises this vanguard: Armstrong's nearly achieved goal of 144,000? 14,400? Nope, more like trending to 144 souls, digging deep in their pockets for jet fuel.

So when is PACK going to by his own UFO SPACE SHIP??

Ordinary church member have to live within their means, but the ACOGs leaders have always "stretched" their goals. It's like the Pharisees who set overbearing standards that they personally rejected.

All of the Worldwide Church of God splinters - including those who remained with Grace Communion International as well as Splinters of Splinters such as almost arrested for Sabbath Keeping little Bobby Thiel - are ALL low wattage works with no real fruits or impact. Personally, I don't see how PCG can afford a jet along with maintaining their campus. In the first or second Dawn Blue videos, Marc Cebrain hit the nail on the head regarding RCG and Pack's Communist Common doctrine, but it also applies to Flurry and PCG when he said something to the effect that "RCG doesn't have the economies of scale that Worldwide Church of God had".

The Biden administration may be denying it and putting up smokescreens, but most people in the real world know the USA is in a recession with 2 consecutive quarters of GDP contraction. However, this recession is different. It is a 1970s style stagflation, recession with inflation simultaneously. This is going to hurt all Americans but senior citizens on fixed incomes are getting hurt the most as we all pay for the Biden inflation tax. And what are the age demographics of the ACOGs? I am sure its skews heavily toward senior citizens who remember Mr. Armstrong and the glory days of the Worldwide Church of God.

You can only squeeze so much blood out of a turnip, and most of the seniors in the ACOGs have been squeezed their entire lives if their time dates back to the WCG. With stagflation, seniors on fixed incomes will be forced to give less to their ACOG if they want to eat and have a roof over their head. Given what I think the demographics are in the ACOGS, the ACOGs should be experiencing a contraction in their income. What this means is that these low wattage works may experience cuts in their bank lines of credit while also receiving interest rate hikes. Soon the low wattage works will become the turnip and will have to make cuts themselves to stay solvent. My guess is the Flurry vanity jet will be the first to go...if they are financially smart!

Richard, I don't know how closely the ministers in these splinter groups actually follow today's news events. They may be dismissing them as they have other events in the past, simply because what we see around us does not conform, or at the very least blend, with the prophecy mold HWA left as his hook and legacy.

There was jubilation throughout Armstrongism when the USSR disbanded and the Berlin wall came tumbling down, because it meant that Germany would reunite, setting off the end times count down. Except that is not what happened. HWA never told us about Iran, or North Korea, or about wars as Russia would attempt to reconstitute the USSR. As we watch the Colorado and Rio Grande rivers dry up, and Lake Mead, Lake Powell, and even the Great Salt Lake dry up, because ACOG leaders and members are in reality non-voting Republicans and therefore do not believe in global warming or climate change, there is no concern about the dry conditions of the Southwest, even though it would require years of drenching winter seasons to refill America's largest reservoir. All they know is that they are expecting God to supernaturally intensify the sun as opposed to allowing mankind to punish himself by being a bad steward of planet Earth, so they are missing a "sign" of huge magnitude. We will know in my state from Tuesday's primary more about the possibilities of an impending civil war, and whether it is safe for we conservatives to vote Republican again. Things do not look very encouraging right now nationally, as the latest news to surface today is the projected rewrite of the Constitution by the very party which has claimed to be defending the Constitution. The Supreme Court decides to remand certain prerogatives back to the states, so they kill a federally based decision which had left those same prerogatives up to individual citizens. That is not expanding freedom, it is curtailing it!

I guess we can't really blame the ACOGs for letting these incredible events go over their heads. It is very difficult for thinking people who work very diligently to sift through todays events, news, and speeches to fathom what is going on.

They don’t “own” Edstone anymore! They took out aprox 3.5Million pounds against the property. Most likely to pay off the plane! Lying liars lie again

This can be proved from the UK financial documents available on line -public record- also posted here and on Exit support network

How many of those who contribute have actually been in this plane, tour or otherwise. Disgrace!

When the PCG was first evaluating purchasing an aircraft, I was told by someone at HQ that it would be for, "Personal appearance campaigns and for GRF to visit world leaders".

If you visit the FAA website you can look up any aircraft registry.

https://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquiry/Search/NameResult

Use search terms: "Philadelphia Church" and you will see that the PCG's Gulfstream has an N-number (or registration number) of:

'N127RR'

The 'N' prefix indicates that it is registered in North America.

There is a free, public tool for tracking aircraft movements:

https://flightaware.com/

If you enter the N-number above you will see that the "Philadelphia Church of God, Inc (Edmond Oklahoma)" has blocked the tracking on their aircraft's registration number. This is intentionally done and the request has to be made in writing, or on the FAA website, by the owner.

It's curious that a church with a goal of delivering a message to the widest audience possible would block the public's (and members') knowledge of the aircraft use and movement.

There are other ways to track aircraft movement.

https://www.planespotters.net/

The above forum exists for enthusiasts who like to track the movement of aircraft by visually spotting them and then recording the date, time and location of the aircraft and submitting it to the site (usually done by enthusiasts sitting at the airport with a camera).

Other flight tracking websites:

https://flightradar.flights/flight-tracking/

https://www.adsbexchange.com/

All modern aircraft that operate within controlled airspace are required to have a transponder. While the owner can opt to not disclose certain information that is transmitted (like tail number, owner name, country of registration), if the aircraft operates with a 'call sign' (a unique identifying verbal label), that call sign can be tracked at:

https://globe.adsbexchange.com/

To determine if the PCG aircraft uses a call sign, all one would have to do is monitor the open frequency at the airport from which it operates during its movement (as long as you can correlate the call sign with the actual movement of the aircraft, i.e. hearing it get a clearance and then watching it take off for example).

With the call sign, you can then track its global movements.

Just to add to the last post... this is all public information.

If for example the PCG aircraft N127RR was based at Max Westheimer airport (which I have no idea if it is), you can go to the airport website and look up the local frequencies:

https://www.ou.edu/airport/general_info

In this case, the Unicome frequency is: 122.95

You can listen to the airport communication at this airport by visiting:

https://www.liveatc.net/

Simply enter the frequency, and the airport identifier: KOUN

The identifier is a four letter sequence starting with K in North America. You can look up any airport code here:

https://www.airnav.com/airports/get

I don't know how they can afford that money pit of a plane. The only other thing that comes to mind is that I wonder if Gerry rents it out when it's not in use by his church?

I knew of a wealthy businessman in my area who had his own private jet plane, and a airline company would lease it from him for their corporate customers when he was not using it. It was worth it for the guy as he made loads of money from the deal, and if I recall, the airline company would even service and maintain the plane at their expense while he raked in the profits when he was not personally using it as the airline company got more use out of it than he did.

So I was wondering if the PCG does this or do they just bleed their members to fuel, fly and maintain that jet? Any other source of income outside the church from their jet? If PCG is smart, maybe they should consider leasing it out to large corporations when they're not using it.
