How could Sheldon Monson fail to recognize that the greatest Demon Slayer the church has ever seen is located in Grover Beach, CA? Sheldon reached out to various COG groups to seek assistance in casting out a demon supposedly possessing a summer camp attendee last month. Apparently, Sheldon is well aware that Bwana Bob has his own witchcraft/demon issues in Africa and wisely chose to overlook him.

07/18/25 a.m. This is a follow-up note related to CGA's fast and exorcism for Blake Fritz. Reportedly CGA asked LCG, UCG, and perhaps COGWA to assist. LCG turned the request to assist down, while UCG tried to assist. But, the fast CGA's and UCG's assistance did not revolve the issues, so Blake was admitted to a hospital. CCOG was not asked to assist, yet Blake is in my prayers.

I guess Sheldon didn't need any Catholic, Mayan, or Voodoo influence on the exorcism. Smart move.
Everything Bob wrote on this matter is totally predictable. Even the further violation of confidentiality.
Armstrongism has a history of ignoring the fund of knowledge which the medical profession has amassed pertaining to mental illnesses. They bypass totally diagnosable physical causes for aberrant behavior, and go straight to demons. Hypothetically speaking, if a member had a mental illness, all the exorcisms and fasting and prayer would not correct the condition. Again, hypothetically, if someone were possessed by a demon, there would be nothing mental health practitioners could do to correct the problem.
I seriously doubt that most typical ACOG ministers even have the discernment to identify one condition from the other. They have been conditioned over decades to imagine all manner of attacks from Satan and the demons. The hypothetical symptoms are identical, regardless of the cause for the behavior. Getting the person admitted to the hospital is the safest thing to do, because it isolates them from the church members, and the staff at the hospital is trained at sedating and restraining violent individuals. Hospitals allow the family's pastor, rabbi, or priest to visit and pray.
Glad the young man is in the hospital, although apparently that was considered to be the second best response.

Exactly! Everything he proclaims ultimately ends up being about him and how great he is. This is why such huge numbers in LCG found him so distasteful.
LOL! ROTFLMAO!!!!!!! Who, pray tell? No one in LCG does, No one in UCG does, PCG considers him to be a liar and false prophet. Dave Pack ignores him. We mock him here. He is little. He is petty. He is a narcissist with borderline personality disorder.
If there really were demons and Thiel popped in to help, he would probably bring more malevolent spirits to haunt the boy. Monson was wise.
So then, LCG turned down the request to help. Aside from any issue Jerry Weston still has with sheldon Monson, this is sadly not surprising from LCG. First of all Weston is petty and nasty behind the scenes. He gets his digs in against someone, anyone, when he can hide behind his pulpit. Second, Weston has always been afraid of these kinds of encounters. Freaks him out. I've seen him in action like this before. He became frightened when we raised up the topic of demons and how they are recognized over several hours. When John B. was aflicted by evil spirits even by his own ready admission, well Mr. Weston was just freaked out about it all. He actually ended up asking who he was talking to, was it the demons or the guy himself who had them. Of course the evil spirits and John would mess with Weston about this all and have a good time over it. And as big Jerry literally fled from the house poor John and the demons laughed at him, mocking. So much for LCG's spiritual power in just about anything. I do remember that for whatever reason the spirits did fear the late Carl Mcnair.
