Doug says Paul was referring to the Hebrew Scriptures when he spoke, because the Christian Scriptures (New Testament) had not been written yet. But then he turns around and says Paul teaches that we are to keep everything Scripture says in both the Old and New Testaments.
Is the Old Testament Obsolete?
Many Christians today believe that the Old Testament was for the Jews and the New Testament is for Christians. However, Jesus taught that we are to live “by every word of God” (Luke 4:4). The Apostle Paul wrote that “all Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16). Paul was primarily referring to the Old Testament when he wrote these words—because the New Testament did not yet exist. When Jesus and the Apostles quoted scriptures, they quoted from the Old Testament. Paul also told Christians in Corinth that the Old Testament examples were “written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come” (1 Corinthians 10:1–11). He was clearly stating that we need to learn from the instructions and the examples in both the Old and New Testaments—which is why Jesus emphasized that we must live by “every word of God.”
Have a profitable Sabbath,

LCG members understand that Doug has no credibility on these matters. He chose to disobey Deuteronomy 24:1-4, preferring to commit what those verses call an "abomination" by remarrying the woman who after divorcing Doug chose to marry and then divorce another man. So much for "every word of God."
Doug will tell you that this passage doesn't apply to him... but that's exactly what other law-breakers say about other Old Testament passages that they find inconvenient. And as long as LCG's Weston supports Doug in this, he is consenting to what the Bible calls an abomination, so it is no wonder that LCG has stagnated and become filled with many other abominations.
Most difficult to have a profitable sabbath when the words preached and the lingering attachments to the fake apostle are most unprofitable
I find it mind-boggling that Weston lets Winnail blather on like this, as all it does is make LCG look stupider and more corrupt. Winnail must be holding some serious blackmail over Weston's head to be allowed to continue.
They (LCG) pick and choose what is obsolete in the Old Testament. For instance:
Jeremiah 33:17-18 For this is what the Lord says: ‘David will never fail to have a man to sit on the throne of Israel, nor will the Levitical priests ever fail to have a man to stand before me continually to offer burnt offerings, to burn grain offerings and to present sacrifices.’” NIV
Now according to them throne is in Britain, but today they understand that Christ is the High Priest. Armstrongism allows them to pick and choose.
At least PCG is consistent, teaching that Gerald Flurry is the true King of Israel (and also That Prophet, and Christ in the flesh), LCG is just confused and self-contradictory.
