PCG Uses Free Slave Labor To Clean Up Property

The kids attending Philadelphia Church of God's summer campy got a special treat recently.  Because PCG is soooooooooooooooooooo generous and magnanimous in offer summer camps, they feel that the kids need to "pay back" for being blessed to attend such a mind boggling site.

Where else could a kid kneel at the moss covered rock of Herbert Armstrong that was carted all the way from Oregon!  Where could they marvel at the baccarat crystal that HWA bought from Harrods in London because he anted to impress people .

Being surrounded by all of these awesome HWA idols is so amazing that PCG wants their kids to pay for it. So, why not make them clean up God's headquarters in the hot sticky days of summer.

God’s way of life is a way of give and at pyc, campers get many chances to practice that way. One of the most visible ways the campers can exercise the giving way is through the activity called campus improvement, or “CI” for short.

In CI, campers beautify God’s 170-acre campus by assisting the landscaping department, thus giving back to the Church which makes pyc possible.

This is one aspect counselor Ariel Buckler of 5G focused her dorm on before their class. “I told the campers to look at campus improvement as a way to make God’s campus more beautiful,” she said.
The extra manpower comes at the right time for landscaping department manager Carl Hilliker.
“Since I lose all my regular workers during camp, and have fewer workers available, we tend to fall behind in many areas, especially weeding,” said Mr. Hilliker. “So the dorms help us catch up a little bit

What better opportunity to use kids that have been told they must do everything their church leaders tell them.  Being personal slaves is part of the  package.

The boys are particularly used for a lot of work.  One thing they did was clean up the area behind Stevie Jr's home.  We all know that Stevie is toooooooooooooooooooo important and soooooooooooooo busy that he can't clean his own backyard.  I mean, why would he leave his luxurious air conditioned home to do such a lowly thing!

PCG's brain dead members could not agree more. Here is what some had to say:

What a precious time for these young people. Really, this is a privilege especially at this age and in this troubled world. Great!

... it’s wonderful to see everyone pitching in with the work of taking care of God’s land. Good job, campers!

... Pruning, trimming and purging the dead stuff is required in nature, so new grasses, flowers and trees can take root and grow. Likewise, we need to prune, trim and purge the “dead stuff” spiritually to grow and prosper.

Dave Pack and Gerald Flurry: Engage in the Battle of the Zechariah's

On Friday, July 26, Dave Pack releases his second to last letter before the Great Reunification.  In it he compares himself

The many sermons I have given, including much of what you have read and will read, bring GOD’S interpretation of phrases, symbols and terms that He uses, not my private opinions. The reader will find that Zechariah 11 is in code. But nothing within it is complicated. Each verse has a clear explanation if we just allow the Bible—meaning GOD!—to interpret the meaning through other scriptures. The “code” it is written in becomes easily unlocked.

Dave continues on explaining he alone is the only person on the entire earth that is capable of interrupting Zechariah, because he is the ONLY human God is using - much to Gerald Flurry's indignation.

...few ever think through that someone has to teach the MEANING of what the prophets recorded. Otherwise, the secret remains a secret. False prophets and false teachers never get these secrets right because God is not using them. He works through the servant that He IS using, and the explanation is both correct and makes sense against ALL related verses. The bigger the prophecy—and this one is GIANT—the greater the importance for God to “reveal His secret,” but then only to His people, not the world. Recall that Haggai himself is called “the Lord’s messenger” who brings “the Lord’s message” to His people. Haggai contains BIG secrets. Thus, at God’s selected time, someone—think about this—SOMEONE, from somewhere—has to explain this “Lord’s message” to God’s people or Haggai cannot be a messenger—to anyone. It is that simple. This is MY role.
Dave then goes on to whine that even HWA did not talk about Zechariah:

We are ready to begin examination of Zechariah, specifically chapter 11. This chapter was never openly discussed in the Worldwide Church of God. I never heard Mr. Armstrong talk about it even once. Since the apostasy, there have only been a few crazy opinions about Zechariah 11, but all of them have been disproven.
Dave needs to realize that may be there was reason HWA did not talk about it!  It wasn't relevant.

He then jumps on Gerald Flurry's back and knocks him down about the "crazy opinions...that have been disproven."

In a  swift response Gerald Flurry hit back this weekend with this:

This prophetic book of Zechariah has only now been fully understood! The book of Zechariah contains prophecy about two end-time churches of God. One church is doing God’s work. The other church, which is Laodicean, fails in its commission to do God’s work. The key to understanding these churches is a flying scroll. It shows us what God is doing today and where it is all leading.
So who's going to come out on top with this tit-for-tat?

Why David C Pack Is Already An Epic Failure - The Gospel Guarantees It

Draw Us In The Spirit's Tether

I was reading this morning a blog from a woman who is an Episcopal Rector on the Cheyenne Indian Reservation in South Dakota Leave It Where Jesus Flang It.  She talks about how the small church she is over has to gather around a small stove in order to stay warm for church.  Last night the temperatures dropped down into the low 40's there.  She also talks about how water is a precious commodity on the reservation.

The church for the last 100 years has drawn water out of a well and now the government has come in and made them stop.  Now many of them live without running water in 2013

One of the churches I serve sits on a bluff overlooking the Missouri --and it had a private water system --its own pump and pipe. And the Federalis came in and cut the line. Can't do that, they said. We've pulled water from the River for 100 years, the church said. Can't do that, they said. Then please hook us up to the public line that serves our houses over there. Can't do that either, they said. Thankfully, we still have an outhouse there that some division or another hasn't tipped over and filled in. I think it's been there 100 years too.

Only two of the churches I serve have BOTH water and power/heat of some sort. Two have no power, one has only a wood stove for heat during the winter. I carry portable kerosene heat --a gift from kirkepiscatoid, for which I remain eternally grateful.

Reading that story about simple people desiring to worship their God around a warm stove and then reading about the putrid expensive monuments to Herbert Armstrong, David C Pack and Gerald Flurry, proves once and for all that Armstrongism is truly an abomination at its basest level.

Pack and Flurry spend hundreds of millions of dollars on mini-me monuments and expensive buildings.  They spend millions on TV stations that are not accomplishing anything about reaching people with the message of Jesus.  They spends millions on gold, silver and crystal, all because HWA had some too.  Members are robbed of hard earned money with multiple tithes and demanded offerings.  Extra biblical teachings take precedence over grace. Marriages are destroyed and families are broken up all in the name of Armstrongism.

Now we have Dave Pack taking delight in his god killing three COG leaders.  He lusts mightily for the money of these organizations as he walks all over people to get the things he wants with no care at all for the well being of his members.  He has ruined his own family where his own kids don't want anything to do with his church.

What kind of an example do these degenerate men set that anyone who has a brain would follow?

Compare them to the "back-woods" Indian reservation pastor (who is also a woman), and you see how much Armstrongism has deviated from the gospel.

Today at church the choir sang a hymn called "Draw Us In The Spirit's Tether".  Its words are in direct contrast to the putrid message of Dave Pack and Gerald Flurry.

Dave is wanting hundreds of thousands of COG members to jump ship to him, yet scripture says all one needs is two or three to find God present among them.  Armstrongism is not about touching the garmets hem, it is about OWNING the garment and proudly wearing it.

Draw us in the Spirit’s tether;
For when humbly, in thy name,
Two or three are met together,
Thou art in the midst of them:
Alleluya! Alleluya! Touch we now thy garment’s hem.

When the early church started their weekly gathering it was centered around a meal together.  People worshiped God by eating together, sharing bread, and by being present with each other.  Today, Armstrongism is about destroying families, restricting who eats their bread, and ignore Christ.

As the faithful used to gather
In the name of Christ to sup,
Then with thanks to God the Father
Break the bread and bless the cup,
Alleluya! Alleluya! So knit thou our friendship up.

All of their meals and their lives were directed towards the God they worship, while Armstrongism is centered around men.  HWA, Flurry and Pack are talked about incessantly in all their articles, books, and broadcasts, while Jesus is ignored.  Pack, Flurry and the rest of the COG's are afraid of Jesus, yet these are people not afraid to glorify their God, unlike most in the COG today.

All our meals and all our living
Make as sacraments of thee,
That by caring, helping, giving,
We may true disciples be.
Alleluya! Alleluya! We will serve thee faithfully.

Dave Pack, Gerald Flurry and the rest of the COG's are doomed to failure.  The gospel guarantees it!
