COG Heads Explode Over New Book Out Claiming Jesus' Birth Actually Being On December 25th.

There is a new book out debunking many of the pet theories of the various Armstrongite splinter groups that they use to defend their stance on not keeping Christmas.

The book is entitled:  The Eternal City: Rome & and Origins of Catholic Christianity. by Taylor Marshall

Sadly, because this book is written from a Catholic point of view those steeped in the cult of Armstrongism will NEVER entertain a divergent view than what they were brought up with.  Never mind the fact that Marshall has more theological training than ANY of the COG leaders do.

Some of the points he discusses on his blog are:

Objection 1: December 25 was chosen in order to replace the pagan Roman festival of Saturnalia. Saturnalia was a popular winter festival and so the Catholic Church prudently substituted Christmas in its place.

Objection 2: December 25 was chosen to replace the pagan Roman holiday Natalis Solis Invicti which means “Birthday of the Unconquered Sun.”

Objection 3: Christ could not have been born in December since Saint Luke describes shepherds herding in the neighboring fields of Bethlehem. Shepherds do not herd during the winter. Thus, Christ was not born in winter.

UCG's Scott Ashley's War On Christmas

Here is an excerpt of a post from an exCOG member and her take on Christmas.  This is from her blog:  It's a Mis-fit.  Her post is in response to UCG's Scott Ashley and his  asinine 10 points on why he doesn't keep Christmas.
Which brings me to the opposite end of the war on Christmas spectrum. As I mentioned in my last entry, I didn’t grow up keeping Christmas, so seeing the following article this afternoon brought up the memories of hearing these reasons to avoid the season at all cost. I get point #1 on that list. The commercialism of Christmas is ridiculous, but there are billions of Christmas celebrants who don’t go batshit insane over commercialism. Its mostly a USA phenomenon. So that point really doesn’t fly.

The second point tries to hammer home the fact that Christmas wasn’t mentioned in the Bible. Well neither was Thanksgiving, Mother’s day, or Memorial day, all three US holidays. Then they try to make the date of Jesus’ birth an issue. It’s common knowledge that no one knows the date, that’s not the point of honoring the event of his birth. One of their proofs, as if we can call the absolute ridiculousness of it proof, was that shepherds would not have had flocks in the field in December.
There’s this assumption that Judean winters are hellish and too cold for any livestock with heavy wool coats to survive. I just looked up the weather for Tel Aviv. As I am typing this, its 3am there. The temperature is a frigid 54 degrees. Its actually colder in SC.

For those of you who are quite certain that Christmas is the epitome of evil, that those who celebrate the holiday with all its pagan debauchery and frivolous frolicing, and that God is going to make sure that we are punished for our wicked ways,  I wish you a happy and joyous Thursday. Let me also assure you that you have nothing to fear from a celebration season, nor are your neighbors, your family members doing so a danger from God whatsoever.

For all of us, whichever you fit on the Christmas spectrum, as well as those of you celebrating the Winter Solstice, Hanukkah, Eid, Kwanzaa, and any celebration I missed, I wish you Happy Holidays and/or a restful rest of the week

Feast of Tabernacles 2015: Head Coverings Required for Women While Men Don't Have to Wear Ties

Are you ready to attend the most perfect Feast of Tabernacles ever?  Are you ready to stop wearing your tie and for ladies to cover their hair?  Can you imagine bringing into a hotel your own food cooked in a hotel room because you don't want to make the hotel cook for you - even though they are already working to set your room up and clean up after you?

If so, then get ready to attend the Feast of Tabernacles with the Church of God's greatest Pharisee James Malm and a few of his acolytes.  Women are expected to cover their heads when entering the meeting room they are gathering in.  Since neckties are not mentioned in the Bible the lucky men don't have to wear ties if they don't want to .

Can you imagine what a week of hell this will be for any kids in attendance!

2015 Feast of Tabernacles
We have booked meeting space at the Medford Oregon Convention Center, from evening Sep 29 through the evening of Oct 7, for the 2015 Feast of Tabernacles and the Feast of The Eighth Day.

I would strongly advise attendees to arrive a day before to avoid any travel complications, and to have ample time to make preparations for the High Day.

The Convention Centre has a swimming pool and work out room, and offers a breakfast included.  New this year, a Denny’s is also in the building.  There are also numerous good restaurants in Medford.

The Centre is only about 150 feet from a large grocery store, similar to Wal-Mart which itself is only a few blocks away.  Rooms in the Centre are no smoking and have cable TV and small fridge’s.

The meeting space is set up classroom style with tables and they will permit us to bring in food and drink for our Sabbath and High Days communal potluck meals.

Youths 17 and under stay free with parent.

Our Feast will be very heavy on the spiritual. (Translated: the LAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  No Jesus and grace but TONS of LAW!!!!!!!!!!

Ladies will be expected to cover their glorious hair during services as per the biblical command.  1 Cor 11: Covering the Hair in Prayer  There is NOTHING in the Bible about wearing ties; so that will be optional.

Church of God Splinter Groups are the GRINCH that Stole Christmas

Overlords of the WCG splinter groups are the GRINCH that stole Christmas from children.  These self-appointed GRINCH type church controllers, have no concept of the damage they are doing to the innocent minds of countless children, who are victimized by foolish man-made religion (in the name
of God/Jesus Christ).

The names of every WCG splinter group church should be made public (along with their photos) on national television, in major news papers of the world and in every significant source of public information, so that the public can see the GRINCH in person.

WCG splinter group overlords have NO CONCERN for church members, but they do have concern for "WHATS IN YOUR WALLET?"  Indeed the motivation to take control over the minds and
thinking of church goers, has to do with $cash, and not because the salvation of the members is a concern.

Every WCG splinter group overlord makes the pretense that they represent God/Jesus Christ, which is as fraudulent as a four legged chicken.  Christmas is NOT the issue, as if by having a Christmas tree, church members will forfeit eternal life.  The real issue is FEAR-MONGERING to keep the naive and gullible members in the fold, so that the $cash flows to the pastors and overlords, and not for Christmas gifts.

God does not send down a lightening bolt from heaven upon people who have Christmas trees in their homes, and gifts for their children under the trees.  It is the WCG splinter group overlords who send out electric bolts of fear to their members, to instill compliance to their religious nonsense.

Eric King Says New UFO Movie: Hangar 52 "We Are Not Alone" Is Based Upon His Teachings

Eric King believes his teachings about UFO's is a major part of the above movie.  If this clip is any indication of the quality of the final movie then it proves that King is as silly as the bad acting.

Yep, they are "spinin" at the asinine stupidity that they just watched. The idiocy that Armstrongites attach value to is just amazing.  They cannot pay any attention to the Jesus dude, but slobber all over UFO, Illuminati, trialteralists, and ever other conspiracy theory out there.

A Merry Christmas to All!

A Merry Christmas to one and all!

The Absurd and Fanciful Excuses the Churches of God Come Up With To Not Keep Christmas

Redfox has great patience to sit and read through the drivel that the Philadelphia Church of God prints as if it were well researched and educated theology.  Ive never been lucky to get past the first two pages. This time he has highlighted the fraudulent booklet printed by the PCG: The Truth About Christmas.

He writes:

It is important to understand that the reasons presented by HWA for abandoning Christmas are wrong and often quite badly misinformed. Both booklets, for instance, insist that Christmas is a continuation of the Babylonian religion deifying Nimrod and Semiramis. It is never admitted in either booklet that this idea comes from Alexander Hislop's book, The Two Babylons, which was made in the 1850s. It was an anti-Catholic polemic designed to vilify the Catholic Church and the Papacy. That book has been proven to be nonsense.

As Bereans Did has done great work in documenting just how absurd and fanciful many of the justifications for shunning Christmas are. Here is some of what As Bereans Did has said on this matter.

Over the years, As Bereans Did has done some great research on Christmas. Like "The Plain Truth About December 25th" which makes the case about why the December 25th date likely did not originate in paganism after all. "Jeremiah 10 and Christmas Trees" which makes the case on why Jeremiah was referring to idol worship, not Christmas trees. "On Nimrod and Christmas Trees" part 1, part 2 and part 3, which make the case on how the origin of Christmas Trees has been distorted. "Nimrod's Birthday Was January 6?" which makes the case that the claims on Nimrod's birthday are faulty. And "Quotes Before Christmas" which makes the case that most of the claims the COGs make about Christmas' pagan origins are based on questionable research. And we haven't even found the time to explain how winter was a great time of year for sheep to be in the fields of Bethlehem (see point 5 of the linked article).
So there is no good reason for a Christian to shun Christmas. In fact this teaching in effect served mainly to socially isolate HWA's followers from mainstream society in order to make them socially dependent upon the group of HWA's followers. The abusive way this teaching has been used to isolate followers from family and friends is just one of many persuasive reasons why the COG groups are often identified as cults.

HWA's Christmas ban was also a way to get more money from his followers who no longer spent money on Christmas, as HWA obliquely reveals himself in his booklet.
But I can say by years of experience, as I believe most pastors and ministers can say, that when the month of December rolls around, nearly all professing Christians forget to give gifts to Christ and His cause [HWA's group, Radio Church of God renamed in 1968 as Worldwide Church of God] almost altogether. December often is the most difficult month to keep Christ's work [HWA's cult] from dying. People are too busy trading gifts back and forth among themselves to think of Him and His Work [HWA's cult], it seems. Then, in January and even into February it seems they have to catch up from what they spent for Christmas, so they seldom get back to normal in supporting Christ and His Work [HWA's cult] before March. (HWA, p. 19.)
That is the real reason HWA banned Christmas. Herbert Armstrong wanted more money.

UCG, LCG, COGWA And Their Annual 'It's Not A Christmas Party" Weekend

Christmas with COGWA at the Galt House where UCG used to meet every year till COGWA apostatized and usurped the facility from under UCG.

A reader here took exception of me making fun of UCG, LCG, and COGWA's annual "It's Not A Christmas Celebration" weekends.  UCG, COGWA and LCG started this tradition several years ago in order to give the kids of the various splinter groups something to do while the rest of the world celebrates Christmas.  Children in Armstorngism have always gotten the short shift on every thing.  Most of the things their friends enjoy they are not allowed to do.  UCG, COGWA and LCG have made themselves slaves to the pagan mythology and the membership pays the price for that silliness.

They book these weekends in resorts that are decked out for Christmas from trees, to garlands and millions of lights.  Yet through it all, not one single UCG member, LCG member or COGWA member looks at any of those decorations, listens to the Christmas music playing, or marvels at the beauty of the lights.  When  they walk into these places the blinders go on and the ear plugs go in. Then once they are sequestered in their meeting or play spaces they click their tongues at the poor uneducated, deceived, pagan worshiping, filthy heathens outside the doors bowing down to Christmas trees decked out with Lucifer testicles, dead babies and Satan's snakes.

The hypocrisy of these groups know no boundaries.

I would like to inform you about North West Weekend which you are accusing to be a Christmas party in one of your blog's. Do you even go to our church? Have you ever been to our church? North West Weekend is not a Christmas party yes we have a dance Saturday night but we only use that weekend because everyone has it off we would gladly use another weekend but that one is easiest we don't have Christmas trees or wreaths or any of the fixings of a Christmas party this year our theme for the teen dance is a night in old morraco we also have volleyball on Thursday day this year we have our ski day. Christmas has no part in your weekend we usually forget it's around Christmas unless someone brings it up. Also it is not the only weekend we do stuff. We have church Saturday and after sundown we set up we do it in winter time because sunset is early and we have time to set up and have a three hour dance, and then have time to pack up and leave. As a fourteen year old I'm ashamed that you as an adult don't have enough reasoning power to realize this.

Apparently sunset is a rather inconvenient thing to work around the rest of the year.

Christmas with UCG at the Great Wolf Lodge and not a Christmas decoration in sight!

UCG - 19 Years of Repeatedly Saying: "...this has been the most spiritually productive series of meetings that I have yet experienced."

The United Church of God recently finished another Council of Elder's meeting.  This has been going on for 19 years now and every single year they say the exact same thing.  "This was the most productive and spiritually energizing meeting ever!"  "We are more unified than ever as a church"  "The ministry is more unified and excited than ever in preaching the kingdom of God"....on and on the platitudes go.  YET, for 19 years the UCG has been a church filled with turmoil and division. Bitterness and resentfulness has always been roiling around in the background when all the positive platitudes are announced.

Robin Webber writes:
The Council of Elders of the United Church of God met in Milford, Ohio, from Dec. 7 to Dec. 11. We started on Sunday with a retreat at a nearby facility where we could collectively appeal to God for His direction. When we approach God on our knees and surrender our good ideas to His perfection, things happen! Our four days of formal meetings followed. It’s always exciting to share a “good report” (Philippians 4:8).I am now in my seventh consecutive year on the Council, and I believe that this has been the most spiritually productive series of meetings that I have yet experienced.
All the elders sat around the table talking bout the spiritual struggles they all endure in their walk as ministers.  They had this to say:
We concluded: We all—every Council and administration figure, pastor and member—need to seek an even deeper and exhaustive desire to center our thoughts, actions and underlying motivations in light of this “lamp unto our feet” (Psalm:119:105Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.) and this decisive instrument designed to discern our thoughts (Hebrews:4:12For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.)—the Bible!
The deeper desire they have to center their thoughts is more law and more Old testament rules and regulations.  Law always trumps grace in the Church of God.  Why should I ever expect otherwise?

Webber then brings his version of Jesus into the mix:
Beyond our personal needs as individual Christians, we also affirmed our God-given responsibility to not only “tend” (John:21:16He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.), but also to “feed the flock” (John:21:15-17[15]So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.[16]He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.[17]He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.). That is, to feed the flock directly and correctly from the living Word of God. It’s the Council’s resolve to go even deeper in establishing the Church’s mooring and understanding on the Word of God. Just like the deer described in Psalms, panting for the water brooks, we too must pant for the Word of God (Psalm:42:1As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.).
It can be guaranteed that when the UCG Council says it will go "deeper" in understanding God's Word it will be about the law.  The things that they feel are required for one to make it to Petra.  Grace and justification will get short shifted to law keeping.
Recent attendee surveys speak to the brethren’s desire to go deeper into God’s Word and have our ministry draw out the rich meanings underneath the surface in God’s Holy Word—be it doctrine, Christian living or prophecy. And to that end, based on multiple comments from the recent surveys, we are moving forward as soon as personnel and resources allow to engaging our membership once again with the Bible Commentary (also called the Bible Reading Program).
Its a shame that the members of the UCG or any Church of God for that matter, does not feel empowered to do their own study of the Scriptures.  They always have to rely upon the theologically bankrupt ministers making personal decisions on what to believe and to do.  99% of the men in the UCG have never studied the Bible without an HWA booklet or UCG article in hand tell them what to believe.  Whey never have dealt with biblical criticism, metaphors, or real church history.  They mock and frown upon anyone that studies in a seminary were truly educated men and women have more research and understanding under their belts than any COG leader will EVER have!

Webber then announced that the UCG is dropping the name of the Good News magazine for a new name.  It has been a bone of contention in many of the COG's because several of the personality cults are using the same name for their own use.  Every single one of them stole it from WCG without asking because they thought it brought warm fuzzy memories of HWA into the nix.  Have a name he chose made them feel their magazine was more legitimate in the church members eyes.  They problem that has arisen over the almost three decades after HWA's death is that no one remembers who he was or CARES!  Not matter how hard they plug the guy's name or hang pictures on their walls, people no longer respond to his name.

I’m also pleased to bring exciting news regarding our major publication The Good News. The Council and the administration have discussed for nearly a two-year period how to: 1) simplify the pathway for people to access our various media outlets, 2) while at the same time magnifying the ongoing impact of what we can share in their spiritual journey. The Council members (11 were present) unanimously decided to approve the administration’s proposal to change the name of The Good News to Beyond Today, which coincides with the title of our television program.

Why? Currently, no one can have full rights to the “Good News” name—which multiple organizations use every day. There are multiple Good News magazines used by a variety of organizations. It’s in the public domain. But we do have the trademark (service mark for non-profits) to Beyond Today. The subtitle is projected to read: “Help for Today, Hope for Tomorrow,” which defines our writing and engages the audience in the wide framework of our calling to be followers of Jesus Christ today, while looking towards the ultimate hope of God’s Kingdom.
Given the massive failure the UCG suffered with its latest media campaign using the Beyond Today program, I wonder what is going through their minds thinking that with a new name change it will increase readership?   No one in the "world" cares to be lectured about paganism, being burdened down with numerous laws and regulations all the while Jesus is ignored  Empty platitudes about a "soon coming kingdom" do nothing to help alleviate pain and suffering in the hear and now.  Blabbering on and on about HWA and Old Testament rules does nothing to promote peace and unconditional love and grace.

Like everything else in the COG these "new"ideas will not bring in new members or increase their funds.  UCG is doomed to rot away into oblivion just like all the other COG's currently are.  For 19 years now they have been saying the same phrase.  For 19 years NOTHING has changed.

Blame it on the Adramelechs!

Adramelech became the President of the Senate of the demons. He is also the Chancellor of Hell and supervisor of Satan's wardrobe. Adramelech generally is depicted with a human torso and head, and the limbs of a mule or peacock.

Eric King is back with more wisdom for the world.  Between his UFO's sightings and mind manipulation he sits around his mountain top dreaming up new and weird theories on the realities of life.  Like all other Church of God splinter personality cults, King thinks he is the ONLY one delivering a "true" message.

King, in his on going quest to commune with alien spirits, has had it revealed to him that the "fallen angels" that Armstrong and others talked about are actual Adramelechs.  One has to wonder if the Adramelechs are the ones talking to Eric King considering how bat shit crazy he is these days.

It is possible that future spirits, those who have experienced a resurrection in the higher frequency time zone, may return to our time zone for a special purpose and mission. This all can only be operative and in accordance with Divine Intelligence and through those higher offices which exist. What we have called “the fallen spirits” or “fallen angels”; the Adramelechs exist in our time zone but are not allowed to change our future. They can indeed manipulate time but the majority of their ranks have taken on physical bodies which share in our current and immediate time frame. These of course are those “bad” extraterrestrials that are part of the Luciferian rebellion, which we have covered in papers such as “The Story of Our Planet”. ~

Most all spirits appearing like dead loved ones are not who you think they are. They are one of the Adramelechs trying to fool you into listening to them. Many of these so called “dead loved ones” begin to try and give messages to the living thus turning them away from Divine Intelligence to get the real answers to life’s questions. The Adramelechs have been in the business of getting people into “spiritism” or “New Ageism” type thought processes. Thus they tune many a deceived soul into the fallen mind channels. The SOCT student does not fall into these traps due to the fact that the SOCT student has accurate knowledge regarding these very important issues. ~ Introduction to Time

Is this the head of the Adramelech that Eric King is talking to?  It is now featured on his site next to his UFO information. Is this the one King is getting his "knowledge " from?  Did it come to King on one of its visits to his mountaintop? Adremelechs are sneaky things!

Bob Thiel Pulls A Dave Pack and Says ALL COG's Must Soon Come Over To His Church In Order To Be Saved

Remember three years ago when Dave Pack started shouting from Wadsworth that certain Church of God leaders were soon to be struck down and all of their members would flood into Dave's cult?  Those were fun times.  Every one laughed and mocked Dave when it did not happen the first time, then doubled down and mocked even more when it failed the second time.  Now that the THIRD time has failed, Dave is hiding out with his high security protocols in his itty-bitty cult compound.

One would have thought that other COG "men" would have seen Pack's appalling mistake and used it as a lesson to NOT say or do the same thing.  Did any of them have sense to pay attention?  Not with Bob Thiel!!!!!

Today he writes:

Sadly, all the Laodicean groups (ALL COG'S) have compromised doctrinally. And unless they all (including Church of the Eternal God) do not change certain prophetic positions to align with those of the Continuing Church of God, it will eventually be clear to all who survive the start of the Great Tribulation that they should have made the move to "gather together" (Zephaniah 2:1-3; see Zephaniah: ‘Gather together’) with the CCOG before it was too late.

Dibar Apartian Now Being Used As Tool To Prop Up Thiel's Illegitimate Prophet Claims

Things must be getting pretty desperate for the self-appointed end time prophet Bob Thiel.  When Thiel apostatized from the Living Church of God and stabbed Rod Meredith and others in the back by forming a new splinter cult, Thiel thought lots of LCG members would flock to his side.  They did not.  He only has under a hundred here in the US and a couple hundred in Africa. Thiel's epic failure is on par with the epic failure of Dave Pack.  Both of these upstarts thought they were God's greatest gift to the church and tens of thousands of COG members would be flocking to their side with pockets overflowing with money. Its never happened.

For the last couple of years Thiel has been trumpeting Gaylyn Bonjour for doubling blessing him, the nightmarish dreams of some woman trying to prove he is the true prophet, and now he drags Dibar Apartian out from the grave to give himself more legitimacy.  It probably will not be long till he claims he was trained at the feet of Herbert Armstrong.

The apostle/prophet/Chief Overseer/world's foremost Mayan authority and most accurate eschatologist writes:

Dibar Apartian died four years ago, on December 8, 2010.  For those unfamiliar with him, he had been an evangelist in the Church of God (COG) for decades.

He was born of Armenian parents and his family had to flee when he was quite young because of persecution from the Turks (known as the Armenian genocide).  He ended up in the French-speaking portion of Switzerland.  During World War II he worked for the US Embassy there and then later came to the USA.  In the USA, he met and married his wife Shirley.

Dibar Apartian lived into his mid-90s (there were debates about the year he was born and he himself did not seem to be certain as his early documents were lost). As many know, he was responsible for the French language work in the old Radio Church of God which became the old WCG, then he was in the old GCG, and then the Living Church of God. He also handled other aspects of Church Administration in and out of the USA for LCG.

For decades, he also taught French at the old Ambassador College (Pasadena, California campus).  He loved the French.  He loved the French language, he loved French food, and he loved the French people.

He might have loved all things French, but many of the French speaking Belgians and  French citizens did not like him and thought him to be a fraud.  This I heard first hand from people at a French Feast site one year.

Apostle/revelator Thiel then takes another jab at Rod Meredith.  Still bruised by Meredith's rejection of his apostleship, Thiel continue to lash out in many different ways.

After the apostasy in the old Worldwide Church of God, Dibar Apartian did not run immediately to Dr. Meredith and the new Global Church of God as he was unsure where to go. After a couple of years, he ended up with the Global Church of God mainly because of doctrinal issues he had in discussions with the emerging United Church of God.

Within a year or less of that, Dibar Apartian and I met.  We later counted each other as friends. We would spend time together when my family and I used to visit the Garden Grove congregation of the old Global Church of God in the mid to late 1990s.

Prior to the GCG split in 1998, Dibar Apartian expressed his opinion about various actions and decisions that the then presiding evangelist Roderick C. Meredith made.  He personally told me in late 1998, that he told Dr. Meredith if he ever did something like this again that he would not follow him into another organization.  This clarified, for me at least, some of his views of Dr. Meredith.
Now to cement his position as the end time apostle/prophet and chief pooper-scooper, Theil now writes that Apartian encouraged him to clever and deceptive on how he preached his message so as to not alert Meredith to what was going on.  Obviously Thiel FAILED dramatically in THAT department so much so that Meredith publicly rebuked him.

Dibar Apartian and I worked together on many matters, including when I was looking into a variety of allegations against the late Herbert W. Armstrong as well as the Elijah issue.

Dibar Apartian and I worked together on how to reach people better in the third world, including places like Nigeria. Neither of us cared for how the then LCG director of Church Administration handled some of those matters, and he made suggestions on how to work to support Matthew 24:14; 28:19-20 without getting some things stopped by that director (who was later removed from that position).

Apartian was Thiel's go-to guy for prophecy and then takes another direct swipe at Meredith:

He and I often discussed prophetic, historical, doctrinal, and administrative matters.

Many members in LCG were unaware that Dibar Apartian had issues with LCG’s Tomorrow’s World magazine.  He stated it lacked interest, depth, and relevance.  In 2007 and 2008, he pushed Dr. Meredith to agree to have articles in it from me as he told me that my articles were what LCG needed.  Dr. Meredith agreed, at least at that time.  I agreed, but under the proviso that LCG would first fix errors in its booklet on church history.  Although LCG, numerous times agreed to do that and told me numerous times that it was working on doing that, it never happened as various ones promised.  The reality is that one of the top people did not want the magazine changed and prevented the booklet changes as a reason to not have me submit articles.
Thiel also claims that Aprtian told him that it was his job to get the leaders of the COG's to change their ways.  Apartian saw no need to do this, so it is quit strange that Thiel now claims this is something that Apartian told him to do.

Dibar Apartian frequently used to urge me to try to get the other leaders in LCG to correct doctrinal, prophetic, and literature errors.  Although I tried to get him to do more of that himself, he always instructed me to not only do that, but to remind other leaders in Charlotte to keep their promises to fix errors, literature, etc.

Then Thiel's story gets stranger when he claims that Apartain got mad at him and stormed out, then apologized days later and said, "either you are the ONE or you are the biggest threat to the church."  Its too bad Apartian did not see then that Thiel was indeed a threat and was already in the stages of stepping out on his own.

But we did have an incident where he got quite angry with me. It was related to something that started on October 3, 2008 when Dr. Roderick C. Meredith (Presiding Evangelist of the Living Church of God) called me and said to me, “God may consider you to be a prophet.” Dr . Meredith and I discussed this in depth as Dr. Meredith was the one who brought the topic up.

Later that month, my family and I went to the Feast of Tabernacles in Evian, France.  The conversation with Dr. Meredith weighed on my mind, so I asked Dibar Apartian (who was the Feast site coordinator) and Dr. Jeff Fall (who was my pastor, who also attended there that year) to meet with me before services one morning.  I told both of them about the conversation with Dr. Meredith.

Upon hearing this, Dibar Apartian got upset.  He told me that Dr. Meredith did not say such a thing and I assured him that he had.  His emotions got the best of him and he walked out of the meeting and I completed it by discussing what happened in more depth with Dr. Fall.

A couple of days later, after Dibar Apartian calmed down, he came up to me and said that I was either “the one” or the “biggest threat to the church.”
Its too bad that Apartian did not wake up at that point and see how weird Thiel was becoming.

Next, Thiel uses Apartian specifically to reinforce the idea that Thiel is a prophet.

We continued to speak over the telephone.  I would bring up issues and Dibar Apartian continued to press me to bring the subjects up to other leaders in Charlotte.  So, I did.  He told me that I needed to remind those in Charlotte about errors they were making and truths that they were not teaching, so I did.

In the Summer of 2009, Dibar Apartian told me, in quite a positive tone, that Dr. Meredith had been stating in meetings that “Bob Thiel may be a prophet.”  He seemed very excited.  I reminded him that I had told him that in October 2008, and he said yes he knew, but essentially the forthright way Dr. Meredith brought it up struck him in a very positive way.

Anyway, we continued to work together and I would bounce doctrinal, historical, and prophetic issues off of him and as far as I recall, he always agreed with what I was advocating.  He kept telling me to remind Dr. Meredith and others of issues there, despite the fact that they often would not resolve matters.

In the late Summer of 2010, I asked Dibar Apartian if he still thought I was “the greatest threat to the church or ‘the one.’ “  He said I was not the threat and said that he would try to talk to Dr. Meredith about my prophetic role, but it is not clear how, or even if, he did before he died later that year. But what was appeared clear was that Dibar Apartian believed then that God had a top/prophetic role for me.
Like Joseph Smith and Herbert Armstrong, Thiel claims that most are trying to discount his stories, but he wants us all to know it is TRUE!  Smith found the Golden Plates and Armstrong restored some "gospel" that his god was to impotent to preserve for 1,900 years. Its now Thiel's job to take the TRUE Philadelphians to Petra.
Some have attempted to discount and discredit what happened between Dibar Apartian and myself, but what is reported here is true.  There should be several in Charlotte who at least used to know this, as well as one or more LCG ministers not in Charlotte who did.
Theil then blabbers on about how Apartian knew Meredith was wrong and the LCG had issues:

Some time ago, LCG ceased to have the ‘Philadelphia mantle‘ (proper leadership authority for the true and faithful church).  It seems that Dibar Apartian realized this would happen, though even today, most within LCG (including those who know about the integrity and other issues) do not wish to take the biblically appropriate steps about that.
Using Apartian as an authority to "legitimize" one's prophet hood shows an incredible lack of wisdom. Apartian was no more a Bible scholar than Thiel is.  A person can preach canned sermons and quote HWA speak all you want and it still does not make on an authority on the Bible. 99.99% of the ministers in the COG have no real theological education,, understand of church history or any knowledge of end time events.  All any of them have accomplished is to present to the world and the COG at large how incredibly ridiculous they have all become.

God's Third Most Important Prophet Selling Her Condo

Who would have though that one of God's most important prophets would need to sell her condo before the end times happen?  Audra Weinland/Van Horne has her condo up for sale.

Mike, over at Don't Drink the Flavor Aid Served By False Prophets has this up:

Audra_entranceBy August of 2013, Chris and Audra were divorced.  Audra quickly recovered from the breakup, reportedly dating even before the ink was placed on the divorce decree and by February of this year was married to Edwin Van Horne.  Since Edwin lives in the Netherlands and reportedly has stable employment, the Van Horne’s live there and Audra comes to the States occasionally to show the flag and be ordained to higher rank in the visiting room at a Federal Correctional Institution.

So what to do about the condo?  Around a month ago, it went on the market.  Below is a clip of the realtor information.  Not listed among the selling points is that it is owned by the 3rd ranking prophet of God.  It does mention a short sale.  If what Audra paid matches the $140,000 tax valuation, she’s going to have to come up with some money to be able to sell it at the asking price of $125,000.  Too bad Audra’s prophecy skills don’t cover the decline in the real estate market.

UCG: God's Most Favored Church of God Averages No More Than 20-30 Members In Attendance Each Week

God's most favorite Church of God ever has admitted it's not as favored as they would like it to be.  They continue to give the impression each week that they are the most unified and most awesome Church of God ever to exist, yet underneath that dirty facade is a crumbling superstructure that's aging and falling apart.

Roy Holladay from the United Church of God reports in the Nov 4th member news that the church is struggling to find members to ordain as leaders in its church.

We in the home office administration would like to share with you some of our manpower plans for serving our nearly 200 congregations and Bible study groups in the United States. Several of our full-time pastors will be retiring in the next several years after many decades of faithful service. However, the work of leading and shepherding those congregations must continue and we are asking God to show whom He may be calling to serve in the pastoral ministry of His Church. It’s a very important role. One of UCG’s goals from inception has been to give each congregation a live speaker and not become merely a video or Internet church of God.
As you may know, many of our congregations are quite small, often with no more than 20 or 30 in attendance each Sabbath. Our current model has been to give our full-time pastors two, three or four of these smaller churches that may add up to a total attendance of 80-100. But this approach has significant drawbacks. The pastor may not be able to visit any single congregation more than once or twice a month. His travel incurs a great amount of mileage costs and takes a physical toll on the elder and his wife. We believe there are other ways to consistently and effectively serve our brethren in these small, widely scattered congregations.

What we have been doing in some areas, where there is a smaller congregation, is to find a qualified man who is already gainfully employed (or retired), who could be appointed as that congregation’s pastor at a part-time salary or volunteer basis. Before assuming the pastor’s position, he will need to be mentored and have online instruction in pastoral care to equip him with the tools and knowledge for this service. As you know, there is a lot more to pastoring than just speaking or visiting brethren. He would also have access to a mentoring pastor, who would be familiar with his area and would be available to advise and make occasional visits.

A part-time pastor serving only one congregation has the following advantages:

• The pastor and his wife will have only one congregation to serve each Sabbath. They will have more quality time with the brethren, knowing that they do not have to leave quickly after services and drive many miles to another church service.
• The pastor and his wife will be in his congregation the vast majority of Sabbaths, which is not possible for full-time pastors serving three or four churches.
• There will be lower mileage reimbursement costs for distances traveled, which will enable us to be wiser stewards of the money that God provides to care for our members.
• The pastor and wife can develop closer relationships with the brethren because they live in the same geographical area.
• The pastor would not necessarily need to forsake his chosen career.

Dave Pack Isolates Himself On His Compound

See Dave's slide show of his itty-bitty campus here.

Its now going on well over two years since Dave Pack uttered his absurd prophecy that three Church of God leaders would be struck down by his god and all of their members would come running in ecstasy to Dave's "church."  Two years ago when it failed the first time around Dave went silent.  When it failed to happen AGAIN in 2014 at the Feast of Tabernacles Dave circled the wagons with The Sixteen and came up with a way of keeping the riff-raff out of his cult compound.

Now Dave has resorted to installing gates on his compound's driveway.  He has to keep his dwindling flock isolated from the pagan filthy sinners of the world and ex-members.  Its amazing how exclusionary Armstrongite cult leaders are yet the man they claim to follow was never exclusionary.  He dined with sinners, prostitutes, and the undesirables of the world.  God forbid if any citizens of Wadsworth drive on to the property or particularly ex-church members.

I imagine the citizens of Wadsworth are pleased with the gates.  It keeps the Pharisees and hypocrites locked up in their fish bowl so the public can can stand in the big box store across the street and make fun of the Packites.

Its That Time of Year! Christmas Volleyball With UCG, COGWA and LCG

Lets Play Volleyball

Nothing wrong with playing volleyball, but playing volleyball at Christmas time is an event with hidden and ulterior motives, invented by certain "heads" of Worldwide Church of God splinter groups and with a hidden agenda.

Cult leaders of WCG splinter groups invented "family" time at Christmas time, for no other reason than to keep their members away from being attracted to the celebration of Christmas with family.

The CULT Worldwide Church of God splinter groups are notorious for deception, and the naive and gullible who bow to these groups, are not thinking human beings, they are all seduced by man-made religious ideas.

Indeed playing volleyball is a fun engagement, but no one but the most simple minded of human beings are blinded by this "family" time event, designed to keep members away from Christmas.

The primary reason is because those who rule these people want to keep $CASH flowing into
their pocket books and not spent on gifts at Christmas time for children, so they make the claim that
Christmas is pagan and anti-God.  Nonsense!

So, volleyball player, have you gone to the homes of the leaders of these Worldwide Church of God splinter groups and seen how they live in splendor and luxury at your expense? Probably not!  Supposedly they speak for God and all the while they live in mansions, while they convince the naive that their "tithes" are being used to "preach the Gospel to the world."

Volleyball at Christmas is one of the most outrageous frauds ever invented by religious frauds, who pretend that Christmas is "evil." Christmas is not evil, it is simply a harmless custom, much like
camping, hiking, mountain climbing, surfing, swimming or home schooling.   What is really EVIL, is destroying families by playing volleyball at Christmas time, when families are RIPPED APART by Worldwide Church of God religious crap.  Think hard my friend, because you and your children are being USED and ABUSED by religious freaks who invented this bull.
