Dave Pack Is Still Pissed That COG Members Give Their Tithe Money To Everyone But Him

Dave Pack has a long reputation of being focused upon Money.  Money makes his world go around.  God and Jesus, do not figure into the picture.  Sure he pay slip service to his god and even mentions Jesus Christ - occasionally, but MONEY occupies his mind and almost all articles, booklets and web postings.

Having absorbed dozens of false doctrines and ideas to which they had grown accustomed, these ministers left at the last possible moment, when they saw the sheep leaving without them. They saw themselves about to permanently lose their paychecks if they did not immediately follow thousands of tithepayers out of the WCG. But, not wanting to appear to be followers—and horrified that many who were leaving were either joining or contemplating joining one of the two large, established, slightly more doctrinally conservative splinters of the time—they quickly jumped in front of the departing flock, claiming to be their leaders.

However sincere these men may be—then or now—recognize that they have a long history of PROFOUND BLINDNESS—and WEAKNESS! They have proven that they will not give up their power, authority and influence. They will not stand firm and teach strongly against the pulls of the world. And of course they spin stories about me to frighten as many brethren as possible into remaining frozen where they sit—because this keeps the tithes rolling in. It keeps what could be called a deception for the ages continuing—the receipt of hundreds of millions of dollars (perhaps about $1.25 billion) that belong to God and not these terribly COMPROMISED MEN.

Dave is not concerned about the money he collects goes to his god, instead, Dave uses it for his own purposes.

Ron Weinland: You Members Are Too Stupid To Prove Anything Or Discover Truth On Your Own

Last week Weinerdude admits that his god did not inspire him to write anything to the members of his cult.  Today he is back with a letter to the sheeple that believe they need to follow Weinerdude's 57 "truths" in order to gain salvation.  In order to do that though, they are not to "prove" the 57 truths are correct but are to accept them as fact and to put them into practices as if they already are.  The membership are not to waste their time studying, proving, examining, or questioning the "truths."  Since Weinerdude's god reveled these "truths" they are deemed "true" already.  Because government is from the top down, "knowledge" comes from the top and you are not to question it.

Within the Body of Christ, truth is not revealed to individual members through personal study, insight, and/or intellect, no matter how much one might try to prove something true or false through their own ability. Such an idea, concept, or teaching is totally contrary to the truth of God, the working of His ministry, and the structure God has created within His Church – government.

What Paul was saying was that people are to prove – to establish the validity of God’s truths and ways – by putting them to work through living and exercising them in their life and thereby approving them as the only true way of life to live. When he says to “prove all things,” he is only speaking of “all” things that are given from God and not of living and trying all things that are possible in human life.

When a person seeks to "prove" something is true or false they become agents of Satan:

The twist that some have placed on the word “prove” is indeed sly, deceptive, insidious, and totally false. It is highly dangerous spiritually because of what such a concept actually teaches. It teaches that individuals have the ability within them to discern, judge, examine, and decide for themselves what is true and what is false. If that were true, we would not need God’s spirit to lead us into all truth. No one has such ability apart from God to discern or know such things. Such must be revealed spiritually to us by God. That is how God works in us to give us His truths. The idea that individuals have the ability within themselves to discern or learn what is true, apart from God revealing it, is the same lie Satan foisted upon the first two human beings. Satan seeks to sneak that false concept into the lives of all with whom God calls and works with. That is how he led a third of the angelic realm to follow him.
It is simply a lie to believe that anyone can come to the knowledge of the truth – of what is right or wrong – by human reasoning, intellect, study, or by any other human means. Nor can one “go back” and re-prove truth through their own intellect, reasoning, or study. They cannot re-prove what they never proved as true anyway. It was given directly from God and only received as a matter of faith.
All truth comes through Weinerdude or maybe Mrs. Weinerdude, on a good day.

That is the way God reveals all truth to us. It begins to be revealed to us from the beginning of our calling, and then God’s spirit continues to reveal more and more to us in order for us to continue building on what has been given before. So how does God reveal His truth and true ways of life to people? Is it done by personal revelation that is “directly” from God and straight to an individual? No, not unless one is a prophet or apostle. That is simply how God has structured His Church and how it is to function. It is how God works.
When a person starts to study, do research, or examine Weinerdude's utterances, they are essentially turning themselves over to Satan.  Once hey are in Satan's grasp their lives become more comfortable and peaceful.  Only the true believers live lives of turmoil and upheaval. Those that have left Weinerdude's cult are not living lives of comfort now that they have repudiated Weinerdude.

When someone begins to believe the lie that they can reason and study to know God’s truth then they quickly begin to lose what God freely gave them, since it is God who not only gives His truth to us, but it is God who sustains it in us through His spirit dwelling in us. Truly, the bottom line is a matter of knowing where God’s true Church is, and only God can reveal that single spiritual body to someone. That Church is the only means that God has given that enables spiritual growth through sermons, other recorded truth, and written material God and Christ inspire to be given to His people through His ministry. Without that direct source that God works through His Church and His ministry, one will begin to starve spiritually from lack of food that comes only in this manner.

Indeed, how quickly individuals can lose what God freely gave them once they choose to believe any lie and separate themselves from God’s Church. Individuals can and have gone quickly back to believing that the rock (Petra, Selah) is about a physical place of safety (protection) in Jordan, instead of God being our Rock of safety. Individuals have returned to believing that there are two eternally existing Gods, as they actually return to embrace a strong portion of the Catholic doctrine of the Trinity. And on and on it goes. Such is Satan’s pleasure. He and the demonic world cease to attack them, but instead make their life more comfortable in this physical world to which they have returned. Such individuals are no longer engaged in a spiritual battle to hold fast to what God had given them.

It is for such reasons that we should study the truths God has given us so that we can remain sharpened and strong in God’s word. This is simply a part of holding fast to what God has given already and not letting it slip away, but remembering it and thereby being more readily able to build upon it as God continues to freely give us more. We should seek to remember and hold fast to what we are given. That does indeed mean we are to “go back” and be reminded and strengthened in what God has given us. That is the correct context we should use if ever speaking of “going back,” but never in the context of proving things to ourselves apart from what God has given – 57 Truths!

Everyone knows that Philadelphia Church of God teens and young adults have slim pickings when it comes to dating or finding a partner.  Since Gerald has laid down such restrictive deviate laws regarding who church members can fellowship with finding good dates is hard.

PCG just sounds like the most exciting Church of God ever!  Its no wonder Davey Pack feels like such a fool all the time.
At least they did not tell them to dress in Sabbath wear to chat.

Living Church of God Hates Independence - Except When It Benefits Them

Roger Meyer from the Living Church of God does not like that people seek independence.

He writes:

July 4 is the day the United States celebrates its independence. Many nations throughout history have fought for their independence, and have set aside days to mark its attainment. Is independence and self-rule the real answer to mankind’s search for peace and happiness?
The desire to be independent—“on our own” and free from “other people telling us what to do”—is in all of us. The toddler cries, “I want to do it myself!” The teenager cannot wait to be on his own, free from parental authority.
Rod Meredith "wanted to do it by himself" when he formed the Global Church of God and then when he got smacked down for his self righteous attitude he sought Independence by jumping ship to Living Church of God.

A friend once told me that he had shared these independent sentiments as a teen. “So,” he said with a wry grin, “I joined the army!”  He found that there is nothing like a U.S. Army sergeant to let you know that he considers it his business to tell you what to do and when to do it. He will also tell you—again and again—that your status is less than that of a lowly fly larva!
That is the state of affairs that true followers of Armstrongism look to inflict upon the "unconverted" masses in their world tomorrow.  They will rule with rods of iron and fists of fury over the lowly fly larva underneath them.

Throughout history, mankind has declared its independence, time and again. In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve made the mistake of believing the serpent’s lie that they could be wise, make their own decisions and chart their own course—that they did not need God to tell them what to do.
Rod Meredith declared his independence from HWA when he went into rebellious melt down that caused him to be exiled to Hawaii for a year.  Then he went into rebellion in Tuscon when he lied about Leona McNair on stage in front of close to 800 ministers. He then got sued for it and LOST while letting the WCG pay his attorney fees.  Then after the case was settled and all monies paid out he sought independence and jumped to form Global Church of God.

The ancient Israelites, having grown into a nation, were at first governed by human judges guided by God. But they decided to declare their independence, and told Samuel, “Look, you are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways. Now make us a king to judge us like all the nations” (1 Samuel 8:4-5). God told Samuel to give the people what they wanted, for they had rejected Him from reigning over them (v. 7).

God gave the people of Global and Living Church of God the leader they clamored for.  They preferred Spanky over Jesus and grace.

Jesus’ well-known parable of the minas (or pounds) illustrates mankind’s stubborn streak of independence. A nobleman went into a far country to receive a kingdom. Before his departure, he gave his ten servants each a mina. “But his citizens hated him, and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We will not have this man to reign over us’” (Luke 19:14). The rejected man refers to Jesus Christ, who will return as the conquering King of kings to rule over all nations of the earth.
LCG's god is a god of war, wrath and damnation.  It wants to see this god come and destroy 2/3rds of humanity.  They can't stand the God who stoops down to pick up the beaten down, the lowly, the outcasts, the disenfranchised.  LCG prefers their god to leave these scum in the mud because whatever caused them to be there in the first place was their fault.
One might expect that when Christ returns to the earth and reveals Himself to mankind, that He would be welcomed with open arms and cries of “Hallelujah!” Sadly, that will not be the case. In fact, mankind will battle Christ with all of the power it can muster. “And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His Army” (Revelation 19). And in Psalm 2:2-3: “The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, ‘Let us break their bonds in pieces and cast away their cords from us.’”
Independent mankind does not want anybody—including Almighty God—telling it what to do. Thankfully, as both of these accounts reveal, all the puny human efforts to fight Christ will be dashed to pieces. Every knee will bow to Christ as the King of the earth. All of mankind will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:9-11).
Roger Meyer and Rod Meredith both refused to let anyone tell them what to do.  They left WCG to form their own splinter cult called Global Church of God.  Then when they did not get their way threw a temper tantrum, financially bled dry Global, in another rebellious action of independence to the Living Church of God - organized and partially funded by a child molester from Pasadena.

Finally, under the rule of the Kingdom of God, human beings will finally learn to trust in, rely on and depend upon Jesus Christ and God the Father. Mankind will humbly submit to God’s rule and finally, at long last, find the true happiness it has been seeking—but has never been able to find.

It's all about submission in Armstrongism.  You must submit to their god, to Rod, to the ministry, and to Herbert's memory.

Is it any wonder that LCG hates independence so much when they are losing members along with the rest of the COG's to independent thinkers!
