Crackpot Prophet Turns July 4th Celebrations Into A Miserable Gloomy Lamentation Of Armstrongist Propaganda

Why are so many Church of God leaders such miserable human beings? Do they ever find any joy in life whatsoever? Far too many of them can take simple life pleasures and turn them into miserable gloomy lamentations of Armstrongist propaganda.

This morning, that miserable whiney little prophet of doom and damnation turned Independence Day celebrations into a bête noire of dread and misery into Laodicean proportions.

God's most incredible human representative on earth today, the Great Bwana Mzungu to Africa and 100 Caucasians, Homeopath, Naturopath, and Herbologist, the Chief Overseer Bob Thiel had this to say about July 4th celebrations.

Tomorrow is USA Independence Day.

Many in the USA will celebrate it.

But what about being independent of the world?

The Apostle John wrote:

15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world — the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life — is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. (1 John 2:15-17)

The world and its ways will pass away and be gone.

So what alternative does the little miserable prophet of doom provide as an alternative?

Join his church as a TRUE Christan! Whoopee!

But being a true Christian allows one to abide forever.

Then, being the Great Herbologist that he is, he had to quote an article by Herbert from the Tomorrow’s World magazine, July-August 1970 on Just What is the Church? (which I am not posting here)

After the article, he says this:

What about being part of the truest Church?

Well, although the Worldwide Church of God is no more, the true Church of God was never to die out as Jesus said:

18 … I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. (Matthew 16:18)

That means that the true Church would not die out, but continue.

In the Continuing (Sic) Church of God (CCOG) we strive to be the continuation of the Philadelphia portion of the Christian church. This is consistent with the following

1 Let brotherly love {Philadelphia} continue. (Hebrews 13:1)

We strive to do that.

Yet, Jesus warned in His messages to the churches in Revelation 2 & 3 that most end time Christians would NOT be Philadelphian. Most will be Laodicean–a term that roughly translates as “people judge.” While many seem to think that is great, Jesus harshly scolded the Laodiceans (see Revelation 3:14-22).

LOL!  Talk about gaslighting and diversionary tactics away from his own incompetent ministry! Blaming those who criticize him as "non-Philadlphians". You are too funny Bobby! Too funny!

Then,  the Great Bwana Mzungu starts listing the things necessary for salvation through him:

Is God is calling you (or has called you), and will you learn, continue, and seriously do what is taught in the Bible? If so, you can be a member of the Continuing (sic) Church of God.

If God is calling you, notice what the Apostle Peter said you should do (those wishing to argue against this, obviously would not wish to be part of the CCOG):

938 “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” (Acts 2:38-39)

If you have already been appropriately baptized, then we also suggest that you read the Statement of Beliefs of the Continuing Church of God. If you agree, will live as a true Christian, and wish to be part of us, then we accept true believers who wish to support us as we lead the Final Phase of the Work by proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom of God as a witness (Matthew 24:14), teaching all that Jesus commanded (Matthew 28:19-20), working to reach the full number of those called in this age, while also preparing for the ‘Short Work, remembering the poor (Galatians 2:10), and proclaiming the Ezekiel Warning.

You can contact a minister or other representative near your area to let him know you wish to be part of us. We also would expect you to live as a Christian and, among other things, keep the Sabbath, attend or watch our church services, and strive to attend the Feast of Tabernacles.

If you have not been appropriately baptized, or are not sure if you have been, and you believe you are being called to become part of the Continuing Church of God, you will want to meet with a deacon or minister in the church to discuss church teachings and get questions answers. We have many congregations around the world, several of which are listed on our Congregations page. You can also read about the teachings of our church throughout this www.ccog.org website as well as the www.cogwriter.com website. For more on counseling, etc., check out the article: How does the CCOG handle Counseling, Prayer Requests, Funerals, and Anointing of the Sick?

Please understand, there is no minimum or maximum amount of time required to learn about the church. The important thing is to believe the word of God and understand the about living as a true Christian.

Once you have turned you life over to God and learned about the church, you are ready to become part of the body of Christ. You become a member of the Church of God through being baptized by a representative of the church. Baptism is a critical and fundamental step. Baptism signifies the death of our carnal nature and our being begotten as a follower of Jesus Christ. It allows us to partake God’s plan of eternal salvation. Furthermore, baptism is a public statement to the church and the world that the believer is turning away from loving the world and dedicating his/her life to God.

Bwana Bob lies when he tries to imply that baptism is required. Baptism is NOT spoken about as a requirement of salvation anywhere in the New Testament. Nowhere. While baptism is important for a believer and is an outward sign of commitment it by no means saves anyone. It is an external act and not a faith act for salvation. Acts 15 and Romans 4 both state that no external act is necessary for salvation. Christians have long understood that salvation is a direct result of divine grace through faith.

Even Paul clearly understood water baptism to be separate from the gospel, and hence in no way necessary for salvation. Paul says

"Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel," 1 Corinthians 1:17.

Baptism was not part of his gospel message.

Nor was baptism a requirement for the penitent woman (Luke 7:37-50), the paralytic man (Matthew 9:2), the publican (Luke 18:13-14), and the thief on the cross (Luke 23:39-43) all experienced forgiveness of sins apart from baptism. Faith was the only requirement.

Bwana Mzungu also conveniently fails to acknowledge that Sciptrure nowhere states that the apostles were baptized.  Jesus pronounced them clean of their sins (John 15:3- the Word of God, not baptism, is what cleansed them).

The Great Bwana Mzungu then lays out 10 points on what he requires for salvation and to be a member of his little cult:

If you are not already a properly baptized part of the Church of God, in order to be considered a real member of the Continuing Church of God, you must:

1) Be called of God.

2) Be willing to seek first the kingdom of God.

Not true. the first thing a Christian does is to have faith in Christ and accept him for the things accomplished through his life, death, and resurrection. Then, a Christian repents knowing right off the bat that those sins were already wiped clean by the things accomplished.  At this point, Christians know their life and salvation are secure as they have hope in a world to come. That hope does NOT come first.

3) Repent of your sins.

4) Have the godly faith to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

It is pretty pathetic that Bob has this all the way down to #4. Accepting Jesus comes BEFORE repentance and even before seeking that magical Armstrongist kingdom.

5) Strive to live as a loving Christian.

Sadly, some of the most unloving people I have ever seen are people claiming to be Christians in the Church of God. We have all read the horror stories of abuse by COG ministers here, whether it is physical, spiritual, or mental abuse.

6) Be persuaded that our beliefs are biblical.

A real follower of Jesus does not need to be constantly persuaded. Talk about trivializing the gospel message! A follower of Christ, grounded in their beliefs does not need persuasion. their rest is secure and an undeniable fact.

7) Contact a CCOG leader for counseling.

This certainly is NOT a requirement. No human leader of any Church of God, or any church for that matter, is an intermediary in the conversion process. Faith and faith alone are all that is required.

8) Be properly baptized and have hands laid upon you.

100% not true! Baptism is not a required act of faith or salvation. Never has been. It is an outward public act of your journey of faith as is the laying on of hands.

9) Support the work of Matthew 24:14, Matthew 28:19-20, and other aspects of the Philadelphian work.

All of this Laodicean/Phialdphian/Sardis crap is just one more diversionary tactic to keep people living lives of fear by looking away from faith in Christ and instead to human idiots leading Churches of God today. Also, the word "work" used in Armstrongist conversations is deeply loaded with legalistic requirements meant to burden followers and keep them in submission.

10) Continue to live as a Christian and endure to the end.

Christians have always done this, looking with faith in salvation, no matter how it plays out. Our assurance is that salvation and the kingdom to come will NOT in ANY WAY resemble the crap we have been fed in the Churches of God. None of our leaders will be in charge of anything or sitting by the right hand of Christ leading legions of people to reshape and train the world.

We also have literature to assist you in the process.

YOU can be independent of the world as well as non-Philadelphian Christianity.

Followers of Christ have no need to worry about non-Phladlphnian Christianity. This is only a social construct of Armstrongism which used it as a diversionary tactic to scare members into submission.

The best advice a person could give to any follower of Bob Thiel on this Independence Day is to walk away as fast as you can! True independence is found OUTSIDE the Armstrongite personality cults. This man and none of his men can save you nor do they have the tools necessary for you to follow for salvation.

What A Glorious Day To Stand In Front Of the Greatest Church of God HQ To Ever Exist In Human History!

This weekend I decided to drop by the most incredible Church of God headquarters ever imaginable before heading over for the day on the Pismo Beach Sand Dunes. This is the home of the improperly named "continuing" Church of god. Not since the Tabernacle was set up in the desert for the children of Israel has such a glorious building ever been imagined.

When I popped by I was hoping to meet God's greatest Church of God leader since the dawn of creation. Sadly, it was his sabbath or something and we did not get to witness his magnificence. As I was preparing to meet the Great Bwana Mzungu Thiel, I was hoping to at least see the African embassy emissaries offering him homage and Steuben Crystal. Alas, none of them were present.

Sadly, his god seems unable to protect him in the crime-ridden city of Grover Beach so he has to rely upon Protect America to keep his world-class headquarters the center of the true church universe.

Seriously, Dude, you need to buy some new curtains. These are about as bad as the ones in your home.

I was hoping to get one of those special double blessings on our truck and dune buggies before we headed to the Pismo Beach Sand Dunes.

David C. Pack Is Not Funny, D'oh!

David C. Pack Is Not Funny

There are times when David C. Pack of The Restored Church of God is unintentionally funny. There are other times when he thinks he is funny, but he is far from it.

The suffering the Pastor General has personally caused the brethren is no laughing matter. It is not humorous to think of how things might go down once David C. Pack stands before the Judgment Seat of Christ. It will go quite the opposite the way he expects.

I have committed the unpardonable sin IF David C. Pack is moved by the Holy Spirit to continue “The Greatest Untold Story!” Series to convey knowledge from God to His people. I understand and accept the risks. But, the evidence is overwhelming about which sides of the fence he and I both stand on.

David C. Pack is a hypocrite, a false prophet, and a blaspheming liar. That is not an accusation but an observation.

The most easily-proven facts of this matter are the continual date-setting that results without any sign or wonder manifesting.

During “The Greatest Unending Story! (Part 454)” on June 17, 2023, the arrival of the Kingdom of God was declared to be Tammuz 1 (Monday, June 19 at sunset). That may sound familiar. He taught the same Hebrew date in 2022. The result from both years was the same: nothing.

Remember when the Tammuz Cooking Table looked like this last year?

Dave has vacillated between it is, or it is not his job to declare dates. He cannot resist being a walking calendar, just as he cannot resist being the center of attention. When the brethren gather on the Sabbath at Headquarters, they come to worship him, not God. They focus on him and not God.

Part 454 – June 17, 2023

@ 56:55 If this doesn’t happen Monday, if this doesn't happen Monday unless you don't believe the Bible, write off Av.

@ 1:07:43 These metrics I’m giving you, I’m gonna use a word they are “insurmountable.” They cannot be surmounted. They could be true and not happen Monday, but we're waiting 382 days, or this was all an act.

Dave will never wait 382 days, never mind a week.

@ 1:15:19 So, the Series is over. Simplicity truly reigns…After the final message that was supposta be given in a season foretold to be given in season…This puts us at mid-day Monday when I am told twice that I’m found so doing.

@ 1:25:29 If an oracle comes from Gabriel or something. I don’t know how you can change the Bible, so I wouldn't believe, and I do not believe, and my position is that it is either Monday [June 19], and then I bow and grab my head and say, "or we're waiting 382 days." Otherwise, I have to contort the Bible, and I might as well add another kingdom or something.

@ 1:26:33 But, my position is, I’m as convicted about Tammuz 1 Monday as I am the Sixth King. And if it is not Monday (I’m just telling you my position), I’m gonna buckle up and get ready for a long year. God help us.

Mr. Putin will be greatly disappointed to hear this. Tammuz 1 failed, which cracks the door open on the possibility that Mr. Putin may not be the Sixth King of Revelation 17:10. To tease the Russian President would not be funny, Dave. Poking the Russian bear as a joke would NOT be funny at all.

It is a good thing Mr. Putin has no chance of hearing about it.

Four days later, Dave begins his self-damage control.

Part 455 – June 21, 2023

@ 00:04 I suspected almost immediately (within minutes almost) that the last sermon was covered that I would need to come back one more time.

Dave loves to brag about how quickly he knew he would fail, as if that excuses teaching biblical fraud to the church. He has a long, documented history of the malarkey cloud settling on his head moments after shutting his big fat mouth. Just think of all the foolishness inside The Restored Church of God that could have been spared if he kept his lips pressed together ALL the time.

@ 57:51 There would be a final message. How many times have we thought there was a final message? This is the 256th final message…It’s impossible to get any of this wrong where everything’s plain.

Hold that thought. Especially looking BACK on Dave's proclamations after they had already failed.

@ 1:16:28 They’ll be one single place on the planet where Christ comes at sundown in Jerusalem…We’re looking at two possible Sabbaths. The 5th [of Tammuz – June 24] or the 12th [July 1]. It looks like the Bible says the 5th.

@ 1:20:05 …but I have nothing else to say… So, I’m just trying to tell you. This is the ballgame today.

@ 1:24:36 Is another week possible? Another message isn’t. But is another week possible? Yes. Yes. I can just tell you that unless God violates His word, two more weeks aren’t possible. And I can’t think of a single reason why you’d wait to the 12th [Tammuz, July 1].

According to the mouth of David C. Pack, God violated His word. How does that NOT make him a blasphemer? Is that an accusation or an observation? Brad, please explain where I am off in my thinking.

This faux heart-to-heart is just the type of manipulation the gullible in RCG still get googly-eyed over.

@ 1:24:59 I always wanted to share something with you. Privately. But this been private, but I'll just be public about it. Were there another year (of course, I don’t believe this. I shouldn’t have to say that), but were there, I’m finally at peace.

We can all be thankful the false prophet and false apostle has peace. Peace, peace. There is no peace.

@ 1:25:15 I have peace. I’ve not had peace for a long time. I’ve had a happy life.

@ 1:25:36 But, I’ve not been at peace. This has been a hundred burs under my saddle for a long time. A challenge. I kept going when I shoulda died multiple times in there. But I did, and I'm glad it's over. I'm at peace.

King Saul did not have peace after he rebelled against God. He was sore vexed by tormenting spirits. How similar David C. Pack is to King Saul remains to be seen. Keep an eye out for Dave falling onto his lawn dart.

@ 1:26:38 And I and I it it I would be at peace. It’s a combination of things. But, the greatest one would be this this this baby is over. There’s nothing else to say. You can’t make it simpler.

@ 1:27:57 So, we don’t have another year. I just thought maybe you would appreciate hearing that, you know, at least for the next few days, I’m at peace. I hope you are, too. There is no 456. Godspeed sundown in Jerusalem this week.

His peace lasted less than two days. It probably departed before he entered the elevator. Of course, there would be Part 456.

Part 456 – June 24, 2023

@ 00:05 Why are we still here? [laughs] Well, partly because I didn’t leave for my vacation…So, if I’m still around [laughs] and some Mystery remains, then, I guess, it has to be explained.

David C. Pack is desperate to find creative excuses for why the unending series is unending. If anyone has a clever idea, please write Church Administration (cad@rcg.org) to submit your suggestions. They need them ASAP.

Part 456 – June 24, 2023

@ 00:38 This Series is unnatural. I would go so far as to say it’s strange in manner and length. What we’re going through is not natural.

@ 03:14 And it occurred to me, in some ways, brethren, what we’re doing…457 [Parts] today. 837 hours. Essentially, explaining, in many regards (you could say), the whole Bible. It would seem strange to somebody, even in God's church in the Seventh Era, would say this is strange. And yet, here we are doing it. So, if it feels like it's going on and on, that's only because it is going on and on [laughs]. All right? If it feels a little odd, why won’t it end?

It will not end due to arrogance, pride, foolishness, wickedness, and blindness. I do not see how that is funny.

Dave’s tortured introduction does not hold up biblically with one simple observation. In all his Bible examples, God instructed all those men to do what they did.

God has told David C. Pack to do nothing.

@ 10:15 We may think we’re just goin’ through a long, strange Series that just won’t seem to end. But from God’s perspective, it has to end right.

This will never end right because God is not behind it. God cannot feed His sheep fraud and lies. David C. Pack feeds the brethren of The Restored Church of God fraud and lies.

@ 10:25 It’s a permanent record referred to over and over and over in His word, and I'm gonna show you… that [Part 456] is part of the clearing up that has to take place today.

The exrcg.org website is now also part of the permanent record of what David C. Pack says. I am a scribe and a witness to what is taught inside The Restored Church of God. It is ONLY possible because the grace of God Almighty allows it to be so. It will end when He decides.

While Dave winds up the audience, he prepares to wow them with another mistranslation that has thwarted his ability to get things right.

@ 11:09 Now, one of the things I need to explain is I found another mistranslation. I need to clear it up, and I'll tell ya what it means. We’ve thought there were three kingdoms and one king. One Sixth King. That’s a mistranslation. There’s actually six kingdoms and three kings, so we’ve got four more years to wait. No, I’m just kidding.

Funny, right?

That was Dave’s twisted attempt at humor. Some broken-headed idiots in the audience laughed. The saddest part is if David C. Pack kept going on to teach about three kings and six kingdoms, the brethren would buy it without question. They swallow everything he feeds them. And Dave knows it.

@ 11:40 That was a joke. Obviously not very funny.

That was some zinger. Especially for those living in pain or desperately wanting to see their deceased loved ones “any day now.” Hardy har har.

@ 11:54 We’re right on track. Sorry. I’m just prone to those kinda cracks.

I wonder if being “on track” was part of the joke. Ironically, not.

Dave then exposes a moment of honesty that sums up the mental state of the Headquarters enablers.

@ 12:11 When I cracked that joke at the table, the ministers at the table laughed. So, they probably thought they had to.

The hirelings laugh at his callous jokes. The hirelings fully agree with his false doctrines. The hirelings nod their heads no matter what nonsense comes out of his mouth.

The Restored Church of Another god is a white-washed sepulcher filled with dead men’s bones and all manner of filthiness.

And nothing about that is funny.
