Church of God's Faithful, Bob Ardis Is Waiting For Divine Healing So He Can Start The Best COG Revival Ever Imagined.

What is with so many of the splinter cult leaders that they have to claim they are more enlightened and more righteous that the righteous characters of the Bible?  Every single one of them have self appointed themselves to their positions, something that no character out of the Bible ever did.  they spread one false prophecy after another and take absolutely no responsibility and believe they have no accountability to anyone.
I have stated quite a few times that I believe we of the CGF have as much or even MORE faith than many of the righteous characters of the Old and New Testaments! I said this with the biblical knowledge that many of the people listed in the “Faith Hall of Fame” of Hebrews 11 had seen, heard, or had some kind of direct access to the Eternal God or His angel or angels. Having visual contact or speaking directly with God would most definitely strengthen a per- son’s faith.
Robert Ardis, Church of God's Faithful
Bob Ardis, the leader of the Church of God's Faithful, claims he is the sole interpreter and revelatory of new knowledge to the church.  Just like Bob Thiel and James Malm, he is a liar and has nothing to offer.  Also like Bob Thiel, James Malm, Dave Pack and Gerald Flurry, he has hard time trying to impress Church of God members to come over to the dark side.  Church members are not impressed.
Truth identifies us, but most begotten brethren snared in the synagogues of Satan refuse to examine the new truth that Christ has revealed to the CGF.
Our scattered brethren do not recognize us as the one true Church. That is the reason we have beseeched God our Father to give us the fruits of His Spirit, that Jesus Christ might be manifest in us.
The church members scattered across the landscape could care less about these self appointed buffoons.  That is why Thiel, Malm, Pack and others lead stagnant personality cults that do nothing.

Ardis has been suffering from cancer for a while now.  He interprets that cancer as a lesson his God inflicting him with in order to learn more lessons in life.  He is expecting immediate divine healing and when that happens how church will grow to be a powerful witness to the world.

I am a sick, old man and it is difficult even to write this article. But there have been vital lessons I’ve needed to learn, and I think I have learned most of them through my trials of illness. The main point, in my opinion, that I needed to learn was compassion for others in their trials. Therefore, unless there are other things I need to learn, I look forward to the healing that God is going to do for me soon, and for all of us in the CGF. Then, with that wonderful experience, we will be able to go out with the POWER of miracles, signs and wonders, along with compassion and new truth to awaken and make ready the WISE of the scattered brethren.
I have been afflicted with cancer of the bone marrow for seven years. It has been a “thorn in my flesh”! I have admired the apostle Paul for his outstanding attitude concerning his thorn in the flesh. Paul had been given much revelation, but he felt hindered by his affliction. We read of his example in II Corinthians 12:7-10:
Just as Rod Meredith is not going to be healed to take up the Elijah mantle run a final end time push, Ardis will not be healed for any such purpose either.

They church is filled with so many of these buffoons that it has no credibility in any one's eyes any more.  It has become a mockery of what truth really should be.

Examining HWA and His Teachings With an Open Mind and Bible

Here is a great flashback to Gavin Rumney's Missing Dimension site.  Just substitute James Malm or Bob Thiel for some of the names and you will see it is still current in its understanding.

Examining HWA and His Teachings With an Open Mind and Bible
by Whistler

We’ve had a bit of fun the past few months in this column examining the teachings of those who hold to the old covenant "revelations" of Herbert Armstrong (and sometimes, "revelations" of their own devising). Simply by using the plain common sense God gave us, and also maybe a bit of logical thinking, we’ve had no trouble in exposing the leaps in logic that the typical legalist must make in order to justify his much-cherished beliefs. For some of us, however, "simply using plain common sense and logical thinking" hasn’t been that simple, especially since our initiation into Armstrongism. In fact, a number of us are still working at getting our common sense, emotional health, and logical thinking skills back to normal. Hopefully, examining the card castles that the legalists have been building has aided in this recovery.

We’ve gotten more than our share of chuckles from the "pick-a-law here" – "pick-a-law there" cafeteria-style approach that legalists such as Bill Dankenbring use in teaching their gullible followers just which of the old covenant laws they need to be observing this month. Most of us are rather enjoying this seemingly endless adventure of following what these people teach to its illogical, unworkable, neurosis-inducing conclusions.

To us, thankfully, it is now readily apparent that all these teachings were never meant to be applied to any other group than the old covenant Hebrews. This is confirmed time and again in the scriptures, for those who have an ear to hear. But those who have been less fortunate in shaking free of the Armstrong influence (or possibly less willing to be freed of that influence?) are still paying a very dear price to continue on in the delusion of being "God’s only true elect." For the practicing of Armstrongism or any other form of legalism by definition brings with it the bearing of a burden and a heavy yoke that God never intended for any true Christian to have to bear.

The more unnecessary weight that these old covenant adherents voluntarily allow to be strapped to their backs, the more burdened down, distracted and short-sighted they appear to become. The deeper they become mired in the task of trying to keep straight the latest "dos and don’ts" of being a "saint," the less likely it seems that they will ever be able to summon the mental energy necessary to recognize the absurdity and futility of their situation. They have been participants in a rigged shell game, one in which they must rely on their leaders to reveal beneath which shell "godliness" resides this month.

These old covenant followers have been taught to focus on the myriad trivial requirements of the old covenant physical laws rather than on the weightier matters – the new covenant eternal law of love. They have been subtly tricked into settling for a lukewarm bowl of watery pottage rather than enjoying the sumptuous spiritual feast with the father that they could have been partaking of. They have contented themselves with building their spiritual house from warped and gnarled tree limbs, obtained from a rot-felled tree and built upon a bed of sandstone, when they could have been erecting a truly solid and permanent spiritual edifice, built from oaken timbers upon a sure foundation of granite.

Their feet have somehow slipped into the shoes of the Pharisees, and they are every bit as unaware of their own spiritual plight as were some of the Pharisees. Just as the Pharisees were, they also have been duped into worshipping the shadow, rather than he who casts the shadow. They have been unable to distinguish between the symbol and he whom the symbol stands for. And the pity of all this is that these old covenant adherents are VERY sincere, every bit as sincere as some of the Pharisees and Sadducees were.

These deceived proponents of the old covenant system desire to serve God, but not on his terms. Due to either a general lack of Biblical understanding, or a lack of faith that Christ’s sacrifice, with nothing else added, is fully able to save them, they have unwittingly turned over all spiritual decision-making to charlatans and misguided teachers. They have blindly placed their confidence and trust in those who teach that the recipe for salvation consists of the proper blend of works and self-sacrifice, seasoned with a generous dash of faith in Christ’s sacrifice. But leave just one of the ingredients out, they are warned, and there is no salvation.

They have unwittingly exchanged Christ’s freely offered gift of salvation for shackles and a yoke, yet they rejoice at having pulled off a wise trade, indeed. It’s little wonder that these people feel that their daily trials and temptations are severe and that they seem to be continually "kicking against the goads." They attribute this to Satan’s attempts to strip away their reward. It never occurs to them that following false teachings also produces the very same "fruits of frustration" and the lack of true peace that they are experiencing. They eventually will be forced to come face to face with a spiritual truism: it is not possible for a false gospel to produce truly good and enduring fruit.

My column this month is directed toward these sincere, well-meaning members of the offshoot churches of the Worldwide Church of God, who by chance may have stumbled across this Missing Dimension website, and this article in particular. They are those who are in various stages of learning the above truism. Admittedly, very little learning usually occurs within the deceived mind without God’s mercy and favor. But hopefully, with God’s help, this column will aid in that learning. My following comments have appeared on a website or two over the past few years, but I feel that they bear repeating to this MD audience.

I acknowledge that these old covenant adherents genuinely and sincerely believe that they are holding fast to the "truth once delivered," supposedly most recently through Herbert Armstrong. I well understand how special and unique they feel, for I used to be one of their number – for over three decades.

The following is not written in a spirit of meanness or bitterness, but in love and with a deep concern for the welfare of those who have chosen to follow Herbert Armstrong’s teachings. As a former devoted and whole-hearted follower of Mr. Armstrong for many years, but one who has in recent years, through much research and study uncovered many unsettling facts, I am driven by the command given us in Ephesians 5:11-13:

"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather EXPOSE them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. But all things that are EXPOSED are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light."

I thoroughly understand your desire to please God and to hold on to those things that appear to be precious truths that a "blinded" world apparently is unable to discern. However, the Bible warns us that from time to time there would arise those who would produce the "unfruitful works of darkness," and that those evil and deceitful works need to be exposed for what they are.

Any time you have a new religious leader popping up on the scene proclaiming new and extra-biblical "facts," that have been "hidden" for centuries, and claiming to be used of God in a way that no other person in the past has been used, that person is a PRIME candidate to have his "fruits" examined. Let’s take a closer look at Herbert Armstrong to see if his fruits and teachings can bear up under scrutiny in the light of day. I think it will become apparent that Armstrong was FAR from being the great moral and spiritual leader and bearer of truth that he appeared to be.

Just as it was impossible to forever hide Garner Ted Armstrong’s true character (it’s been all caught on video at the massage parlor, so that even his most ardent supporters must at times feel like giving themselves a dope-slap), so it has become increasingly hard to deny the facts regarding Herbert Armstrong that are appearing on the internet, etc. These facts can be attested to by hundreds of former WCG ministers and members from the 70’s and 80’s.

Some have written books, others have written heart-rending resignation letters explaining the cover-ups occurring, or made tapes to explain why they were disfellowshipped without being given a chance to reply to charges (such as David Robinson, Jack Kessler, Marion McNair, Charles Hunting, Richard Plache, David Antion, etc.). If it is true, as the Bible states, that a man can be convicted on the testimony of three witnesses, there exists more than enough testimony and witnesses to establish the true character of Mr. Armstrong.

Many higher-level ministers, who are still employed by the WCG and its offshoots, know of these facts. Ask your local pastor about their veracity. If he was one of those in the know, watch him grow very uncomfortable as he tries to give you an answer that won’t be too upsetting! His answer will probably include the standard comparison that King David committed adultery AND murder and was still a man after God’s own heart, and that hopefully Armstrong repented. (But then, David didn’t set himself up as a spiritual advisor, nor did he continually repeat his sins after he OPENLY admitted them and repented, did he?) Also, be prepared to be informed that "character doesn’t matter – it’s the MESSAGE," whereas formerly, character was everything!

These truths are getting harder and harder to suppress. The wider availability and use of the internet has given the general public much greater access to research resources, such as Ambassador Report Publications (see www.herbertwarmstrong.com/ar), and to valuable web sites such as David Covington’s webpage and the really all inclusive, one-stop-shopping site, "The Painful Truth" (www.herbertwarmstrong.com). And of course, this Missing Dimension website is great for news updates, etc. However, one still has to do careful research to separate fact from fiction, as you cannot assume everything found on all sites is true or even Christian, but much that can be proven is brought to light through these sites and the links they recommend.

The disgusting details of Herbert Armstrong’s 10-year incestuous relationship with his daughter Dorothy – which occurred even as he received "new truth" from God and was establishing the 1st "true church" in 19 centuries, the misuse of 3rd tithe for jet fuel and the refurbishing of top minister’s homes, his plagiarizing of other’s articles, the firing and disfellowshipping of loyal ministers without even a hearing, etc., are now being laid bare on the internet before the world. It’s embarrassing – but just maybe we deserved it. We allowed a man to become our authority in place of God. Jesus Christ worked awfully hard and suffered greatly to remove the need for a physical priesthood; the "veil was rent," and so each Christian has direct access to God .

But the HWA approach was to resurrect the priesthood and insert it between God and the Christian. He particularly liked to remind us that we were just so much stinking rotten garbage in God’s sight, unworthy to even draw breath. We dared not rely on our own minds or instincts, as they were inherently evil and not to be trusted. Armstrong convinced us that we couldn’t trust other churches, or friends or relatives – no one but him – as he understood God’s will better than anyone alive. This type of teaching, although great for keeping followers in line, and complaints to a minimum, is deadly to normal, healthy self-esteem. This teaching had the effect, over a period of time, of destabilizing the minds of his followers, and in many, many instances it laid the ground work for problems ranging anywhere from mild anxiety to full-blown psychotic behavior. It can well be summarized in the following descriptive paragraph:

"The membership never feels completely confident in their salvation, but is always left feeling slightly in doubt. They must continually "give more and do more" or risk losing salvation. They feel that God is watching for them to slip up, and is always planning for their next big "test." They believe that God is continually "sifting" them, and looking for weaknesses in their armor. Mentally, they are always in the "gun lap" and find they can’t relax. Joy seems elusive. Often, members become quiet, submissive, guilt-ridden, non-thinking, non-creative, depressed, alcoholic, anxious, withdrawn, self-conscious, hopeless, aimless, and have nothing to look forward to in life but the dream outlined by the leaders about the wonderful world tomorrow, which is usually depicted as "just around the corner." They are not enjoying "the peace that passes all understanding" but have become mentally frozen in their religion - rendered unable to function, and yet unable to leave. They are experiencing cultic control or "fear religion " at its best (or worst)."

Herbert Armstrong was able to establish authority over us by showing us "new truths," – one being that we were still under the Old Covenant – the New Covenant would not be established until our marriage to the Lamb. Never mind that Hebrews 8:13 tells us: "In that He says, ‘A new covenant,’ He has made the first obsolete. Now what is obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away." (which it did when the temple was destroyed in 70 A.D.)

Years later, we were instructed that even if the Old Covenant had been made obsolete, it would have no affect on the Ten Commandments, as these laws have existed from the time of Adam, and therefore were NOT PART of the Old Covenant. Too bad we didn’t take the time to do a little research – we might have stumbled across Exodus 34:28, which tells us, "So he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And He wrote on the TABLETS the words of the COVENANT, the TEN COMMANDMENTS." And we might have even read Deuteronomy 4:13, which tells us: "And He declared unto you HIS COVENANT, which he commanded you to perform, even TEN COMMANDMENTS; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone."

And chapter 5:3 further verifies that "the Lord did not make this covenant with our fathers, but with us." If we had done a little outside reading, we might have realized that following the Ten Commandments strictly doesn’t bring righteousness – for one can follow them to the letter and be "blameless," even if we HATE our neighbor. Therefore, obviously, there is a higher law of God.
We were led to believe that Armstrong had more of God’s Holy Spirit than anyone on earth and understood prophecy as no one else did. To quote Roderick C. Meredith in "The Inside Story of The World Tomorrow Broadcast," (p. 17): "This is the ONLY Work on earth that really understands . . . the specific meaning of present-day world events, and the EXACT TIME SCHEDULE OF PROPHECY!" This, in spite of over 40 failed prophecies since 1934, including the 1972 disaster ( HWA said it was not his fault - God had to give us more time, as we didn’t "sacrifice" enough to get the work done)!

We were told that "getting the work done" – our calling – was to pray, pay, and obey so that God’s "true church" could get out to all nations the gospel of the coming tribulation and Christ’s imminent return. However, nowhere does the Bible say this is our "work." Christ himself states in John 6:29, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent."

Armstrong loved to quote Matthew 24:14 in support of our commission – "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." He told us this was the reason we were called – to back him up in the spreading of this gospel. Somehow he never got around to explaining why an angel had the same commission. Rev 14:6 tells us "Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth – to every nation, tribe, tongue and people – " Thus the above prophecy is fulfilled by an angel, with no mention of us humans being absolutely necessary for its fulfillment. (See Matthew 28 for our commission.)

We believed he was an "apostle" – not realizing that to qualify, one must have been taught directly by Christ. We would have done well to consider the words of Rev. 2:2: "I know . . how you can not bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who SAY THEY ARE APOSTLES AND ARE NOT, and have found them liars.."

And nowhere does the Bible tell us that the gospel is the proclaiming of the coming tribulation and the imminent return of Christ. The heart of the gospel is not built on prophecy, no matter how attention-grabbing that prophecy might be, but deals directly with Christ and the "good news" of the salvation his death has assured us upon repentance and faith. Our being prepared for Christ’s return and entering his kingdom all hinges upon what we do in the here and now.

Speculating on when Christ will return, what the tribulation holds in store, or what our final reward will be like may be interesting, but it is not the gospel – and can actually detract from the joy and peace brought by the gospel if it becomes a source of worry and fear. Herbert Armstrong, hopefully unknowingly, taught us "another gospel," which the Bible warns against time and again. A study of all the uses of the word "gospel" in the Bible will verify the subject of the true gospel. (See especially I Corinthians 1:17-18 and 15:1-20)

God holds us accountable for whom we follow and what we believe. He has given us the ability to think, examine, research, study and read opposing views before coming to a final decision (this was frowned upon by HWA as allowing Satan into our minds). God has instructed us to "trust no man" but to prove ALL things as the Bereans did . . . to be careful no one deceives us. We overly trusted one man and only studied his chosen scriptures and believed his interpretations. We built upon sand, and now it is starting to wash away. (Could this explain why there have been well over 100 church split-offs since 1970? When the foundation is faulty, nothing with any real stability can be built upon it!) Why is it that we can see everyone else’s deception but our own? I guess that’s the very DEFINITION of deception!

My prayer is that those of you who are still clinging to Armstrongism will take the time to examine these issues (this may involve doing some further intensive research – with an open and prayerful mind), for your own sake and that of your family. After all, the scriptures do admonish us that "he who answers a matter before he hears it, it is folly and shame to him" (Prov 18:13). Maybe, just maybe we've been mired in folly and deception long enough!

Till next time, here’s whistlin’ at ya! ;o)

Apostate Bob Thiel: Rod Meredith Needs To Repent And Acknowledge Me As The True Apostle

Well that did not take long.  After publishing the story the other night on Rod Meredith's rant on there being no prophets and apostles alive in the church today, I took one of my favorite swipes at Almost-arrested Elisha Elijah Amos Habakuk Doubly Blessed Dreamweaving Chief Overseer Bob Theil. (Apostate Thiel imagines himself as the world's most converted and dynamic prophet ever.) Of course the delusional false prophet took exception to Meredith's words, because HE, Overseer Bob, is the true legitimate prophet of the latter day Church of God. No ministry in the course of Church of God history has ever been as astounding as the improperly named "continuing" Church of God. Dave Pack now whimpers at the mere mention of Bob Thiel's amazing name.

Elijah Habakuk Thiel writes:

While the Bible does warn about false prophets, the Bible also teaches that there will be prophets in the last days and that God will grant them dreams:
17 ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your young men shall see visions,
Your old men shall dream dreams.
18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days;
And they shall prophesy. (Acts 2:17-18)
I, and others affiliated with the Continuing Church of God have had prophetic dreams that have come to pass...
Amos Elijah Thiel has a huge hangup on the relevance of dreams in his improperly named ministry.  The false prophet talks more about dreams that validate his "calling" than he ever does about that mystery man who was a carpenter from someplace over there.

Dreams are necessary in the wild kingdom of the Bob's mind.  Dreams are just one more tool to "validate" his "ministry."  Why?  Because Herb and Loma had dreams and the Radio Church of God was the result.  Delusional Elisha Bob thinks that his "ministry" will be bigger and stronger than anything Herb and Dave Pack ever dreamed of.

Despite the fact that the Bible shows that God uses dreams and the members of the old Radio and Worldwide Church of God used to accept that the dream from Loma Armstrong was from God, most today do not wish to believe God still uses dreams.
Shame on all of you lazy Laodiceans who refuse to acknowledge Overseer Bob's prophethood!  You are sure to burn in the lake of fire for that!

False prophet Bob then makes the claim that Rod Meredith does not keep the 10 Commandments.  Only doubly blessed self-appointed prophets are able to do that!  Elisha Thiel is the only church leader who leads a blameless life. in spite of that, Elijah Bob still is suffering major butthurt over Meredith stabbing him in the back a few years ago when he publicly refuted everything Thiel stands for.
In the Continuing Church of God, we also do teach AND practice the Ten Commandments–which is not something I can say that Dr. Meredith fully does. He should realize that God’s people keep their word, even when it is not popular:
1 Who may worship in your sanctuary, Lord? Who may enter your presence on your holy hill? 2 Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts.
3 Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends. 4 Those who despise flagrant sinners, and honor the faithful followers of the Lord, and keep their promises even when it hurts. (Psalm 15:1-4, New Living Translation).
Dreamweaver Bob is still stinging from Meredith's rebuke of him.  Meredith was like a Dad to prophet/apostle Bob, and to suffer such a public rebuke was devastating to the soul of Thiel.

The self-appointed non-ordained false prophet Thiel is demanding that Meredith apologize to him now that Meredith is on his death bed. Meredith is expected to publicly announce that Almost-arrested Thiel is a TRUE prophet, an apostle, that he is DOUBLY-BLESSED, that his dreams are valid and that God loves him more than any other Church of God leader alive today.  On your knees Rod!

And as far as I go, yes, Dr. Meredith put out several false and misleading statements about me and he even flat-out denied telling me that he said if he would accept the role of an apostle, he was considering ordaining me as a prophet–even though he did, in fact, do that in January 2009. Plus he broke numerous promises to me related to correcting literature and doctrinal errors that he and others at LCG had acknowledged. He also falsely libeled my character. Yet, I have stood for and told the truth. And Dr. Meredith, if he still has the mental capacity, should realize that, publicly repent, and tell the truth.
False prophet Bob also claims that he has all of the signs of being a prophet!  Read it and weep folks!  It is true because Thiel says so!
As far as Dr. Meredith writing that no one at LCG ever proclaiming himself an apostle or prophet, after he told me that GOD may consider me to be a prophet when I was part of LCG, Dr. Meredith later told me he was considering calling himself an apostle. And when he said this, he certainly did not have the “signs and wonders and mighty deeds” he is alluding to.
But I did have the biblical signs of being a prophet and he knew at least some of that...
The next sure sign of apostle Thiel's prophethood is that he claims his personality cult is growing a 30%.  30% was the number that Herb and crew used to blare out to the gullible church members as "proof" that the church was growing and that God loved it immensely.  That 30% moniker was made up by men in the accounting and publishing areas to "prove" that the church was growing exponentially.  However, that number has always been in doubt as a department head of accounting said some years ago that they could make any "figure" they want "mean" anything they want.  Many of those people were intellectually dishonest.  Much like Elisha Thiel.
We in the [improperly named] Continuing Church of God have been walking by faith and have had vastly more than the 30% growth that the old Radio/Worldwide Church of God once had and the 15% growth that Dr. Meredith has asked his followers to plead for. We in the [improperly named] Continuing Church of God do have the type of fruits that Jesus said a true prophet would have.
The [improperly named]  Continuing Church of God is the only Church of God with this type of growth in the 21st century. This is a fact and is the truth.
Read it and weep Rod Meredith!

Rod Meredith is an impotent leader compared to Elijah Thiel. The false property and Mayan authority said that he is adding to scripture just like Herb did. Mayan authority Thiel claims he is adding more truthful details to the mix.

Unlike Herbert Armstrong who restored truths to the Philadelphia era, and Bob Thiel who added more details to those truths, Dr. Meredith has not done that. Nor has he fulfilled the prophetic office. And it was Bob Thiel, and not Dr. Meredith, who was anointed to receive a ‘double-portion’ of God’s Spirit...
Gaylon Bonjour never had any intention of doubly blessing apostate Thiel to begin an idiotic ministry based in Arroyo Grande that would be used to deceive sincere African peoples.  Those are the people being taken advantage of.  Those are the people being lied to and being unjustly used.

God's most merciful apostle ever has been praying for Rod Meredith.  The apostate false prophet Thiel has been praying that God would keep Meredith alive long enough:

I have prayed for Dr. Meredith and prayed that he would publicly repent of his false statements. The Bible teaches that the Lord “is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9). Yes, Dr. Meredith is getting old and will die someday–but God may have kept him alive these past four plus years for him to see that the CCOG is the only COG this century that has had the type of growth he claimed showed God’s blessing.
The chief bastardizer of the law (after James Malm, of course) and scriptures is demanding that Rod Meredith repent because his time and the time for humanity is short.
He and others are getting a witness, but sadly the Bible shows that the bulk of the Laodiceans will not repent as they should (Revelation 3:14-18 ). It is time for Dr. Meredith to repent and it may be that his time to do so is getting very short.
You can read the long screed by the apostate false prophet Thiel here.  It includes 44 "truth's" that set him apart from Rod Meredith, the Laodicean.   LCG’s Roderick Meredith, Apostles, Prophets, and the Truth

Musings: More Closure or More "Ugh"?

In a couple of weeks, details escape me at the moment, there will be a Ambassador College Reunion held in Las Vegas.  I assume what happens in Las Vegas won't stay in Las Vegas with regards to this blog, nor should it.  Attendees at the reunion are asked to drop the church talk and just enjoy seeing old friends again.  I like that.  As an add on to the reunion and probably not for the faint hearted is an additional last day sponsored by the original authors of Ambassador Report.  This event is completely separate from the reunion and will cover the how and why of Ambassador Report back in the day.

Ambassador Report was the bane of the ministry including my own in my days of naive belief in the message of WCG and by extension, my part in it.  I thought it was where I was supposed to be and as corny as it might sound, felt "called" to the ministry for personal family reasons going back to some things my dad told me years after the facts.  Nuther story.

I spent many a day and night getting hammered by members who received their copies in the mail.  I got my own of course compliments of someone and promptly threw them out.  Denial truly is not just a river in Egypt.  It was a most confusing time for me personally as a very new minister and pastor in Chicago and then Ohio during the 70's when  the corpulites hit the roting wind machine.  Between the demise of GTA, the Receivership  ("Not many Wisemen now are called" for those who understand) and the Tkaches, Ambassador Report was causing me personally unending stress and conflict of mind.

It was like having molasses on one hand and feathers in the other, smacking them together and then being told to pick out the feathers.  Not possible.  What a mess.

I recall knowing that the 60 Minutes expose' with Stan Rader etc was coming on Sunday night and I made a point to be out visiting to just keep it off my dreading mind.  Of course the phone rang off the hook all Sunday night.

In the hind site of age, change , drama and trama along with dis-illusionment mixed with not a small amount of anger at both myself for being so stupid and naive and those over me who seemed even more stupid and naive or just lying to me, was killing me with anxiety and depression while having to wear the faithful minister mask.  My own brother in law, as pastor, who stayed with WCG thru it's change to GCI died of the disease his son said was actually his broken heart over how it all went. He was a very sincere and well loved guy. He gave up the love of his life career, forest ranger in Idaho , to go to AC.  I know he regretted that .

Weeks ago, I determined not to go to Vegas for the Ambassador Report portion.  I might could do the reunion but time is money for me in my practice and no one pays me for being gone etc.  I also got to thinking about what's really good for me personally.  Forgo it for the sake of moving on and not having all my past anxieties and memories about those days stirred up, or go face them and learn the story behind the story?  There are men who I would love to meet and only know because of correspondence or through BannedHWA and they have expressed a desire to meet.  Would it be "fun" or ignite personal issues once again?  Would it bring more closure or resurrect unnecessary memories and issues once again?

Currently I am content with my simple life here in beautiful Portland.  Simple living , a career where I still work 5 days a week , 40 hours being the caretaker I am and earning every last penny honestly without criticism.  I can sit quietly with my 4.5 Billion year old meteorites that were around before the moon formed or there was life of any kind on earth and appreciate what is actually true as opposed to what I naively was led to believe in my youth.  It's nice to not even mind being stardust with consciousness studying itself .  :)  Do I want to risk that banging my head on the table in Las Vegas?

We all handle our experience with WCG and all that occurred and followed differently.  At this point I am opting to pass on Vegas for all the above reasons for me personally.  I admire those men who took it on back in the day to confront the Armstrongs and WCG excesses at the top and problems with ministers and churches.  I wish I had helped them then but I was not the man then I am now.  I never thought WCG had a proper vetting process to put a truly caretaking , balanced and teaching type personality into the ministry.   ALL the splits, splinters and slivers,  Gerald Flurrys, Dave Packs , Bob Thiels, Rod Merediths, James Malms and countless horribly informed men who claim to be theologians is the end result of that and our lunatic entertainment here on Banned.

Joe Tkach Jr reacted very "ain't going to happen" when I suggested personality testing etc for those going into ministry.  It took me a very long time to wake up.  I stayed way too long for many reasons.  I

I believe I will pass as an exercise in good mental health for me and maybe meet the gang sometime in LA in the future.  I would encourage anyone to go if it can bring understanding and closure to your own experience.  It's not too late.  No2HWA can supply you with all the details I am sure if interested.
