Long Live Tea Tephi! Gerald Flurry Devastated Over King Charles Coronation Chair

Gerald Flurry was seen crying in his beer rootbeer as it was announced yesterday that the over 700-year-old coronation chair, housed in Westminster Abbey, is getting restored for use at the coronation of King Charles in May. This is the same chair that the Stone of Scone is placed in for the coronations, though it currently resides in Scotland till ready to use in London.

The fact that the Stone of Scone was shipped off to Scotland irked Gerald's self-righteous butt so much so that the traipsed off to Oregon and dug up a dirty rock from the ground and hauled it back to Edmond where it is claimed to be the holy stone upon which Herbert Armstrong supposedly kneeled in front of to pray and is now so sacred that it is the NEW coronation stone.

Gerald has gone on to further claim that this very stone will be the stone that Christ will reportedly return to and be crowned King of Kings upon. PCG even designed a coronation chair to hold that stone so that the holy keister of the creature Flurry calls "christ" will have a comfortable seat to sit upon. Always the best for the best!

This supposed coronation stone is one of the reasons they own the jet and an office in Jerusalem. When their creature is set to return, they will fly the stone to Jerusalem so their creature can be crowned upon it. Isn't Armstrongism the best!

A reader sent me this:

 Oh boy!

The Westminster coronation chair is getting a face lift.  And they are bringing in the Stone of Destiny from Scotland for Charles’ coronation.

The British-Israel Armstrongites must be wetting their pants with excitement.   Long live the descendant of Tea Tephi!

King Charles III will be crowned in a gilded chair whose storied history began more than 700 years ago.

While the Coronation Chair has provided a centerpiece for the crownings of British monarchs including Henry VIII, Elizabeth I and Elizabeth II, that doesn't mean it's survived unscathed since it was created around the year 1300.

"It has suffered occasionally over its lifetime, there is graffiti on the back from local schoolboys and visitors carving their names in the 18th and 19th centuries, and a bomb attack in 1914 knocked a small corner off it," a Westminster Abbey official said in a release Wednesday. Among the letters carved into the chair: "P. Abbott slept in this chair 5-6 July 1800."

Now, the chair is being cleaned and stabilized by Westminster Abbey conservator Krista Blessley ahead of the May 6 coronation.

The One True Church

Note the sheer hypocrisy in what the Philadelphia Church of God says the "one" church. Gerald started his apostate group after rebelling against the Worldwide Church of God. He threw a self-righteous fit because he thought he had a better understanding, just like Bob Thiel, Vic Kubik, Jim Franks, and all the other splinter group leaders thought they did.

The Armstrongite church love to mock the churches of the world for all the different groups that are out there and the divisions between them. Never once do the apostate leaders of the COG's look inwardly at themselves and condemn the hundreds and hundreds of splinter groups that now make up Armstrongism. When you look at it by sheer numbers, Armstrongism is far more splintered and damaged than any Christian church in the world is. They all differ from each other and oppose each other. None of them recognize leaders of other groups as the true rightful leader.

The reality is, Jesus Christ founded one Church, and He actively leads only one Church. No other teaching can be supported by Scripture.

“Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing,” God inspired the Apostle Paul to write, “and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment” (1 Corinthians 1:10). That is a deep level of unity! We should expect to see this unity within the Christ-led Body of believers. There should be no division in what is believed, taught or preached.

The many differing and opposing churches of Orthodoxy, Catholicism and Protestantism definitely do not “all speak the same thing.” When looking for which church to be a part of, the very existence of so many different churches, denominations and sects, believing vastly different doctrines, emphasizes the fact that it is easy to become part of a false church!

PCG: Peter Suffered and Died In Order To Set An Example For PCG Members In The End Times

Crazy theology in the Church of God is not limited to Dave Pack and Bob Thiel. Gerald Flurry has his own unique brand of nuttiness regarding his understanding of scripture.

Note below what they say about why members suffer trials. I bet Peter had no idea that what he was suffering and would eventually die from what was happening just so he could teach the crazy Philadelphia Church of God a lesson.

Peter was standing up for the truth he understood. The PCG delivers heresies and false teachings to the world and destroys members' lives. This is NOT something that Peter died for.

“God’s plan was for Peter to be put to death,” Mr. Flurry writes. “Why? There is more to it than just His desire to refine Peter’s character” (The Epistles of Peter—A Living Hope).

Consider this in your trials: There is more to be gained than just the refinement of your character.

“With the crisis in the Church, his personal trials and the knowledge of his imminent death, Peter had so much he could have been negative about. But Peter was learning a lesson specifically so he could teach the Philadelphia Church of God in this end time!” Mr. Flurry continues. “We must learn it, so we can build this solid hope into our lives—and then proclaim it to the world!” Peter’s trials would help the future Church of God! And we in turn must proclaim what we learn.

“What Peter went through was a stupendous blessing for us! God has a plan to get this lesson into our minds as we go forth to broadcast a difficult message in the most difficult times ever! This is what will keep us going when we don’t want to keep going. This hope is for the whole world. We must be globally minded, as God is. Christ gave His life for the world. We have been called to follow in His steps” (ibid).

We must learn to think this way in our trials! As Mr. Flurry writes: “You will never endure the trials God gives you unless you see this splendid reason to do so.”
