The Famine of the Word Is Over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rejoice and be glad!  The famine of the word is over! God's most highly favored prophet ever to live in human history is back.  He is back with a vengeance today with a list of prophecies that he claims has all come true.

Eric King is not like the failure that Herbert Armstrong was or that David C Pack currently is.  Gerald Flurry has nothing on this guy and cowers in Edmond with staggering embarrassment.  Why?

Because this is what King says about himself:

Eric W. King has been right not 99% of the time but 100%

People have been following our COGSR predictions for going on three years. Join us and learn the TRUTH. Below are more links to help you see that we are living in REALITY.

Heck, this dude is amazingly unawesome. It's hard to imagine that anyone is so ignorant as to consider him the "real deal"

And that's not saying much, considering that there's been a plethora of disaffected and confused RCG/WCG people floating about, just looking to "find the truth", and who all have gravitated to anything BUT Eric King's bullshit!

Of course, that might be a helpful clue for someone who is mentally stable, but in King Bullshit's mind, it's just a reason to further immerse himself in his own special brand of insanity.

In some weird way, Im glad that King is back.

He doesn't have any followers, and is not messing up lives, but he does offer high entertainment value and I find myself with a strange prurient interest in seeing what next bit of strangeness he will come up with.

Sweet! Make some amazingly non-specific "prophecies", have some totally typical, almost normal and easily predictable but non-earth shaking events hit the media, and claim 100% success.

Eric, the entire point of WCG style prophecy, and the method behind the manipulation is that 1) Events be catastrophic beyond human ability to cope, 2) that they actually affect (not just inconveniences) the peoples of allegedly British Israel extraction, and 3) that it provides direct and observable segue to the return of Jesus Christ and the establishment of Armstrongism as God's government on planet Earth.

Basically, Eric, you have vaguely alluded to some rather tepid inconveniences which follow established patterns with which we are all familiar as a natural progression of events throughout our lifetimes. Now, had you prophesied that Iran would nuke Chicago, with the complicity of Pope Francis on a specific date unless the USA indulged in national and sincere repentence, and if the USA had actually repented or Chicago got vaporized, then that would be more in keeping with the work of the prophets of ancient times.

Fortunately, like all the other Herbie Jr.s, you are just playing mud pies, a game which the thinking individuals who contribute here have seriously outgrown. Shouldn't you be creating the next musical genre showcasing guitar virtuosity?

The famine of the word...say that slowly 10 times. Then say "there have been no magic resurrections from the grave or thunderings from heaven or new revelations since the bible was written"...say it slowly 10 times.

Okay, wake up and consider that there may have always been a famine of words from gods...maybe it was only humans who placed words in the mouth of their imaginary gods.

There is actually more chance that Hitler is still alive and living on the dark side of the moon than there is of any humans ever having known anything about any gods...and THAT, my friends, is "the truth".

Sorry Cork but some scientists and philosophers believe there is a reasonable chance we are living in a computer simulation. That would make the computer designers a god of sorts. There is more chance of that than the most maligned man in history being alive and on the moon.

Let's break this down...

"...some scientists and philosophers believe..."
Oh? How many? Mainstream or the gadfly variety?

"...there is a reasonable chance..."
Oh? Care to hazard a numerical interval on that for Bayesian inference?

"There is more chance of that than the most maligned man in history being alive and on the moon."
BTW, Hitler may be the most hated man in history, but he is definitely not the most maligned.

Please, do clue us in on the probability values you had in mind when you did your calculations. The chance Hitler is alive and on the moon right now is infinitesimally close to zero, and depending on the infinity you're working with, the chance any humans have ever known anything about any gods is roughly equivalent to that. You really can't make a compelling case that the probability of your theoretical postulate is significantly greater. "Possibly therefore probably" doesn't cut it.
