Living Church of God: Is Rod Meredith a Closet Pagan?

LCG has just wrapped up preaching about the evils of Halloween and will no doubt soon begin to preach the evils of Christmas. They will likely wax on about how God says not to worship Him like the heathen worship their gods. Then they will expound on the Two Babylons and how the Catholic Church is the Great Whore and all its branches are equally evil and full of deception. 

All this from the stage of the Charlotte Scottish Rite Temple.

Scottish Rite by definition means “House of the Temple”. Official rank titles in this high order Masonic organization include: Knight of the Sun, Sublime Prince of the Royal Secret, Master of Mercy and Prince of Jerusalem.

Albert Pike, a famous Mason who obtained the rank of Sovereign Grand Commander for a total of thirty-two years, devoted a large amount of his time to developing the Masonic rituals. Notably, he published a book called Morals and Dogma of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry in 1871. In it Pike refers to Lucifer as, “the Light-bearer” [p. 321]. The goal of all Masons is to “seek the light” from the time of their initiation.
 
According to Albert Pike, Freemasons portray the Holy Spirit with the satanic symbol known as the Baphomet. The Baphomet is one of the most evil of all symbols.  This “being” is androgynous and has the head of a "Horned Goat," (another title for Satan). It has the breasts of a woman, and an erect phallus that has two serpents coiled around it. Just the type of thing an ACOG member wants their young children exposed to on the Sabbath!

Freemasonry is the embodiment of everything that LCG claims they are against. The worship that goes on in that temple when LCG isn’t there is a mixture of idolatry, paganism, the occult, Gnosticism and Satanism.

Masons do not worship the God of Abraham, but rather a false god that they call The Great Architect. Masons deliberately omit the holy name of Jesus Christ from all their prayers. Masonry is a secret society and its initiates subscribe to secret blood oaths that are contrary to Christian morals.

Even the ACOG’s so called “deceived” Baptist and Catholic churches strongly recognize that Christians should have nothing to do with Masons.  Pope Clement XII referred to Masonic halls as “Satan’s synagogue”. The Catholic Church has prohibited its members from being Freemasons since 1738. Since then, the Vatican has issued several papal bulls banning membership of Catholics from Freemasonry under threat of excommunication. Currently, as reiterated in 1983, Catholics who enroll in Masonic associations are in a state of grave sin and may not receive Holy Communion [source catholic.com].

I have attended with LCG in the Scottish Rite Temple and I can confirm that the building is FILLED with imagery and symbols that are the exact type of thing LCG claims to despise.

Members have pointed out all of the above information repeatedly to those in power at LCG headquarters but the building is affordable and comfortable so Meredith overlooks all the scriptures in his Bible that specifically say not to worship the Almighty from Pagan temples (Deut 12:2, Exodus 23:24, Exodus 34:13, Psalm 78:58,  Deuteronomy 7:5, 2 Chronicles 31:1, 2 Kings 18: 4, 1 Cornithians 10:20). Instead of “destroying the alter and pillars” LCG pays to use them each week.

In true Meredith form, we are to do as he says, not as he does.

Many members and ministers (even Counsel of Elders members) have expressed their concerns with the hall. I have personally talked to LCG COE members and congregation members who believe their meeting hall is infested with demons. LCG minister Davey Crockett wrote an article in which he states,

“God chooses how He is to be worshiped, and using the methods, symbols, and practices of false, pagan religions to worship Him is not acceptable. In fact, He considers it an abomination. Over and over God instructed His people to remove these symbols of paganism. For example, “But thus you shall deal with them: you shall destroy their altars, and break down their sacred pillars, and cut down their wooden images, and burn their carved images with fire” (Deuteronomy 7:5). Some will say, “But it’s a beautiful tradition!” Jesus let the people of His day know that traditions based on ungodly practices are not acceptable. “He answered and said to them, ‘Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition?’” (Matthew 15:3). Beautiful buildings of fine quality in which to worship God are certainly an enjoyable blessing, but they are not a necessity [Forgotten Symbols by J. Davy Crockett III].

Most in LCG would NEVER meet in a Catholic church and they get all buggy regarding hearts and crosses but they are perfectly fine with the Masonic Temple!

Meredith is king and what he says goes. Few have the courage or conviction to stand against him because they know that, like a vicious cobra, he will strike down anyone who dares to oppose him.

The point of this article is not to condemn or judge Masons but rather to point out the extreme hypocrisy in the Living Church of God and all its judgmental members who sit in a Pagan temple every Sabbath pretending to please the Almighty in worship.

Yet more proof that LCG cannot possibly be God’s true church.

Where In The World Is Dale Schurter? Can You Find Him?

It wasn't long ago that God's most magnificent creation since Adam, Dave Pack, was mocking United Church of God because he conned Dale Schurter into jumping ship and joining the most superfantabulous Church of God ever.

Dave bragged over and over how Dale had his eyes washed so he could let the true light of Dave in. Dale bragged how wonderful it was to be part of the only true church again.

Dale's only accomplishment in life was running a farm on the Ambassador College campus in Big Sandy, TX, that had the "digester" that recycled bullshit into fertilizer. Dave conned Dale by offering him the opportunity to run Dave's new superfantabulous farm located between a freeway belching out pollution and a big lot store. Much ado was made about this new experimental farm to be under Dale's awesome care. Dale and crew were going to feed the world with mind boggling farming techniques.

Fast forward to 2015 and Dave's superfantabulous Feast of Tabernacles video. Dave's new superfantabulous farm has a new manager. Dale is nowhere to be found, as are several other Wadsworth HQ employees. Did the rapture happen? Are they in Petra preparing the way? Are they buying more land to house the tens of thousands of COG members soon to join them? Are they undergoing reeducation for the second time around?

There seldom used to be negative information leaked out of the Living Dying Church of God but as the foundation crumbles informants leak out from the cracks giving us insight into how bad it really is, especially in Charlotte.

Banned By HWA has brought Meredith to his knees repeatedly over the past year. Meredith himself went on a tirade about Banned in front of a live audience of over 250 people motivating even more LCG members to visit this site.

It is driving them half mad that they can’t figure out who the leak is. At first, they assumed it was some of the purge victims. But then they realized that much of the information found in various stories would not be known to someone no longer in attendance. HQ has even leaked fake information to various people to try to figure out who the mole is. So far, it hasn’t worked. Unfortunately for them, the problem goes so high up that they can’t get away with much.

After the increase of stories and complaints about the nepotism surrounding the Meredith family, Rod’s youngest son who was being paid to “sort of “work from home in Louisiana has been temporarily brought back to Charlotte to make the arrangement look better to members and employees that were annoyed that he was collecting a pay check for nothing after it was made public on this site.  It won’t likely last long, but at least RCM is making an effort to make it look good thanks to pressure resulting from the Banned story.

Meredith also decided to permit a minister who had been denied permission to attend the Hawaiian feast site to attend after reading a story on Banned which outlined how LCG ministry was annoyed that NCIS Jim gets to go every year while others get forced to serve less luxurious sites.

They have also lightened up on the suspensions and disfellowshipments status post all the public blow back they felt after the purge last year.

There is still an undercurrent of mistrust of the ministry and displeasure in the direction LCG is going among a fair percentage of the brethren. This would have previously initiated a Gestapo cleanse but now they are a little slower to act out their tyranny because of the fear of exposure on this site and others like it. There are LCG members presently who are getting away with things that would have never been tolerated before but Spanky and McNair have consciously decided it's safer to turn a blind eye. At least until they get this PR nightmare under control.

Hopefully this site will continue to expose the atrocities at LCG which will improve knowledge and facilitate more members to have the courage to walk away from the Sanhedrin.

Tribualtion to Start in December of 2016!

Well folks. the writing is on the wall.  God's one and ONLY unemployed true prophet has declared that the Tribulation is to start in December of 2016.  You have one more year to party and get you act together.

Armstrongite false prophets have had a field day over the decades mocking the various false prophets of the world around them, yet they fail to look at themselves as part of that sick equation.  Because they are all Church of God members they seem to feel that they are incapable of making a false prophecy. When they do, they declare that the church was not ready and that their god has delayed things.  They are never wrong, but their god seems to be incapable of making his mind up.

Every single Church of God leader who has made a prediction over the last 80 some years has been proven to be a liar and false prophet.  This includes HWA, GTA, Meredith, Flurry, Pack, Gilbreath, Malm, Thiel, Dankenbring, Waterhouse, Blackwell, Hoeh, et al.  Not once has any of these deceived little men ever said anything that had any truth to it.

Sorry for the delay in posting. I decided to do the counting from the projected Feast days and check this out as to whether there is a potential for 2015 or 2016.

I am counting back 1,290 days from the sixth day of ULB in 2019 and 2020 as the resurrection date, to set the beginning; and then counting forward to the 1,335 days to see how close they are to Pentecost for the pouring out of God’s spirit.

2015 Abomination set up on Oct 14 + 1,335 days lands directly on Pentecost 2019. This seems a non starter since the kingdom and the pouring out of the spirit will be AFTER the 1,335 days.

2016 Abomination set up on 2 Oct + 1,335 days lands on Friday May 29, with Pentecost coming AFTER the 1,335 days; on that Sunday May 31.

Note: This assumes that the projected high days are correct, and that my calculation is correct. This could be either year, but the most likely year seems 2016 to set up the abomination in Oct and begin the tribulation in December. 

This is only a very strong indicator [along with the signs of the times] since the projected High Days might be off by a day, or my calculations might be off by a day or so.
 
We should take this a year at a time and be ready for 2015, yet not be disappointed if we have another year to warn the brethren!

In the meantime the Chief Pharisee is expecting donations to keep pouring in so he can remain unemployed.  By living off contributions of the gullible he does not have to do physical work.  This allows him time to sit and write endlessly his version on how he thinks scripture should be interpreted.

Dave Pack Announces No One On Earth Has A Message Greater Than His

I finally decided to watch some of Dave Pack's 2015 Feast video.  It is the usual claptrap of damnation, destruction and death with a sprinkling of the kingdom of God thrown in.

Pack has always attempted to portray himself as the most sophisticated and most education human to ever grace the portals of the Church of God.  No splinter group leader has ever done as much as he has or been as righteous as Dave.

Around the 8:10 minute mark of the film Dave makes the following statements: 

"...I want to talk about the good news of the coming kingdom of God...and...I want to talk about mass sin and mass worldwide punishment. We've got the best news the world has ever heard and I have the worst news.  Ive got the very best things anyone could ever announce and I've got absolutely the dead bang worst.  There's no way ANYBODY exceeds what I have to say and we as a work have to say, either one of those." 

So there you have it.  No one on this entire planet has anything to say that is better than what comes forth out of Dave's mouth.  No one is more intelligent or godly than he.

One of his minions also makes the claim that the infrastructure of the campus is the most advanced that anyone has ever seen.  No one has better technology than Dave and crew. Meredith, Thiel and Flurry are whimpering in the corners of their offices at their utmost failure.

Owners of Big Sandy Campus (ALERT Academy) Being Sued

When the Worldwide Church of God started to loose income because of its doctrinal and tithing changes, one of the fist things to go was the Big Sandy Campus. It was not a quick sale though, it drug on and on while it drained money from the Worldwide Church of God's pocket book. Eventuality it was sold to ALERT Academy, the right wing fundamentalist sect that Bill Gothard dreamed up because he thought the churches around him were too liberal.

Over four decades ago Gothard formed the Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP). Since that time the belief system he started has been hit with one scandal after another.  From child abuse and pedophilia, to sexual misconduct by Gothard.  Numerous lawsuits have been field over the years which forced Gothard to resign from the board of his various "charities."

The biggest public face of the movement was the Dugger family who let the world into their fundamentalist family with 19 Kids and Counting.  That world came crashing down after their son was discovered to be a serial adulterer and pedophile.  Instead of send the guy to jail, he was sent to ALERT Academy where he received "counseling" from its leaders.  These were not professional counselors that were experienced with working with pedophiles, but men who tried to "pray" the pedophile demon out of Dugger.

Gothards main headquarters was based in Chicago.  There is a 10 part series (Dark Secrets) here detailing the child abuse and sexual improprieties that went on at that HQ.  Listening to it is like listening and reading about the Worldwide Church of God HQ in Pasadena.  When powerful corrupt men who claim to speak for God take on power they end up abusing that power by abusing members, sexually, mentally physically and spiritually.

The Institute in Basic Life Principles, a Chicago-based organization, has operated the Indianapolis Training Center on the city’s Northside for a decade. Its Bible-based learning program has been praised as an example of how state and church can work together to help troubled youth.

But the Eyewitness News Investigators found shocking allegations of child abuse at the center. After we began looking into the allegations, the state Child Protective Services agency opened an investigation into the claims of abuse and confinement of children in a so-called prayer room.

Gothard has announced that they are selling the Chicago HQ and moving  the entire operation to Big Sandy, Texas.  This came soon after 5 women came forward two says ago and filed a lawsuit against Gothard and the group for sexual abuse.

 No Longer Quivering: Bill Gothard’s IBLP Sued

The IBLP was hugely instrumental in the push in the Homeschooling Movement here in the United States. Along with the public face of the Dugger's, the other prominent face of this movement is Hobby Lobby.  Gothard's group is also heavily into Christian Reconstructionism.

Reconstructionism, which is closely related to Dominionism, found a niche with homeschoolers, especially conservative Christians who bought the idea of being fruitful and multiplying (Quiverfull Movement) in order to take over or subdue the earth. 

I am sure the residents of Big Sandy are groaning again about another cult taking over the campus with weird doctrines and teachings.  After ridding themselves of the craziness of Armstrongism they are now going to be taken over by an even more aberrant cult.

The Fearful Churches of God in Big Sandy

There was a comment recently on Facebook about the Big Sandy area of Texas that was at one time filled with thousands of church members and college students.  With the implosion of the Worldwide Church of God, those numbers have declined dramatically.  There are however still a remnant few who live in the area and attend various Church of God's.

The comment mentioned how with the relatively small population of Big Sandy, it has 10 churches in the the area.  Several of them are Church of Gods of various flavors.  There is one big difference between these Churches of God and those harlot daughters of Babylon that are filled with so-called Christians.  The harlot daughters keep their churches open and gates unlocked while the Churches of God in the area have padlocks on their gates to keep everyone out.

Armstrongism has always been dominated by fear.  That is why deacons and strong men were stationed by the entrances of all the COG's.  They were to keep out the unwashed masses of the daughters of the great whore. God forbid if any of these heathens ever wanted to come and attend a service without first readying Mystery of the Ages or some other poorly researched booklet.

Rebellious Women Who Refuse to Wear Head Coverings in Church are Failing a TEST Commandment!

For several years now the Chief Pharisee of the Churches of God has required the few women who attend his cult services to wear head coverings.  Every once in a while a rebellious woman comes along and dares to question God's most important man this side of Dave Pack.

One acolyte writes:

James, Regarding “veils & head coverings” that you are convinced that women should wear, when attending Church Services. In fact, as I understand, you even require that women cover their heads with a hat or otherwise, if they wish to attend your Feast site. It is widely believed by the women I’ve discussed this issue with & our husbands, that a women’s hair is her covering. Several have commented that they would not attend with your group, because of this requirement. With all due respect to you, I ask that you consider lifting this requirement, as folks would appreciate being able to meet with others of like mind. I mean no disrespect to you, as you are doing a wonderful Work & I believe you are a very Godly man. Please DO NOT take this as a put-down, in any way. Thank you for your consideration.

God's unemployed professional moocher answers back with this. As usual it is the policy of the god he claims to follow instead of has poor biblical interpretations.  Apparently still stung by his wife divorcing him, he has to lash out at all women to force them into submission.

It is God’s word that requires this, not me. I have no authority to do as you request. If the hair is the covering, why must the head be shaved for not wearing the hair? That is the ridiculous reasoning of HWA which people have been brainwashed with. This is one of those TEST commandments and some are stumbling at it. If some would reject such a small thing to follow Christ; it is the same as Naaman rejecting bathing in Jordan to cure his leprosy. As Jesus said: “Faithful in little, faithful in much.”

It's amazing how the god of Armstrongism is eternally pissed at everyone and everything.  The uneducated wannabe biblical scholars in the Churches of God have created a god that matches the domineering patriarchal attitudes of its leaders.  Their anger permeates their sermons, booklets, and web postings.  Malm sets himself up as the most unhappy man that the Church of God has ever had as a member.  When law trumps grace, joy and happiness cannot be found.

Its a FACT! Jesus is Coming in 2021!!!!! BRETHREN, THE WRITING IS ON THE WALL!

The Chief Pharisee of the Churches of God has been posting a lot of useless drivel lately on various topics on how he interprets the Bible to fit HIS legalistic desires. On October 20, 2015 James Malm made the following statement:

Now subtracting 42 months (1260 days) shows that this final beast emperor will occupy Jerusalem, beginning at the end of 2017.

Given the historical difficulties of the Greek struggles it is possible that this date might be in error by a year or two, but one thing is certain; IT IS VERY CLOSE INDEED!

These are indications of the nearness of the times; they are not dates certain until proved by the appearance of ALL of the Biblical signs.

At the present time the British people have been promised a referendum on continued EU membership before the end of 2017 with French and German elections scheduled for Sep / Oct 2017.

Britain is highly likely to leave the EU, but exactly how long that process takes is unclear; and certain other countries are likely to follow, creating a crisis in the EU and opening the way for the setting up of the miracle working deceiver in the Vatican in late 2017, who will immediately call for and bring about the rise of a New Europe; the seventh revival of the Scarlet Beast of the Holy Roman Empire.

This man of sin will then go to the Holy Place [Temple Mount] 75 days after being set up in the Vatican and the great tribulation of Mat 24:15 will begin.

Along with this is the coming defeat of radical Islam and a move towards a Mideast peace deal 1 Thess 5:3.

These events are right in line with a date of late 2017 for the start of the tribulation; followed by the coming of Messiah 42 months later; in 2021 AD!

Brethren, the writing is on the wall!

Hat-tip to Connie for sending this.  I read most of that blog entry by the Chief Pharisee when he published it, but it was filled with the same useless drivel that I never made it to the end.  Its another missive filled with death, damnation and gloom.  Three topics that seem to occupy the minds of the legalistic Armstrongites regardless of which splinter sect they are in.  These guys all seem to take great delight in wishing their god to wipe humanity off the face of the earth...except of course their little remnant of the frozen chosen. 

The lake of fire would be a welcome reprieve if one had to dwell in the kingdoms of most of these guys.

Lets Go Spend Christmas With The United Church of God!

Its time to register for the annual United Church of God Christmas party weekend!  Sign up now for four fun days of activities at The Great Wolf Lodge which will be decked out in all it's Christmas glory!  From Santa to reindeer to sparkling snow flakes, Christmas never looked so grand or festive!

Of course we all know that United Church of God members put on their blinders and walk through the complex and NEVER look at the heathen filthy Christmas decorations!  Their ears never hear the constant stream of Christmas carols playing throughout the complex and none of them ever sing along silently in their minds.  Never!  None of them ever eat any of the holiday treats the hotel sells either.  Its just bland boring kosher food every day.  No rainbow sprinkles  can be seen anywhere in the UCG corner!

The best part about the weekend for the kids is that when they go back to school in January they can share with their friends that they spent Christmas week at the Great Wolf Lodge and the other kids will know immediately what a Christmas wonderland it is.  At least the youth of UCG can feel good about the weekend.

UCG Feast Attendance Declines As COGWA's Rises

The United Church of God is not in their happy place right now with news out that the Church of God a Worldwide Association had more members attend the Feast this year than UCG.  Several years ago when COGWA split off of UCG they took a substantial number of ministers and members with them.  UCG tried to shrug it off because they had visions of grandeur running through their heads.  They assumed than since all the dead weight was gone their god was going to start doing great things in the UCG.  Sadly though, UCG has been in a state of decline ever since.  Spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on personal appearance campaigns, bankrolling moronic blue sock puppet videos, and shoving their doctrinal beliefs into the neither regions of their web site has not helped them.

UCG had a feast attendance of 7,275 in the US.  Foreign sites are still to report in.  COGWA had 9,300 in attendance, a 2% increase in attendees.   Living Church of God had 10,400 attendees.  The only two COG's out there that had less people than UCG was Dave Pack's Restored Church of God and Gerald Flurry's Philadelphia Church of God.

Gerald Flurry's Health Is Declining Just Like His Church Membership Rolls

A frail looking Gerald Flurry made his appearance at the Philadelphia Church of God's Feast of Tabernacles this year.  His rapidly declining health is starting to be a concern with the echelon of the PCG.

Like his predecessor Herbert Armstrong, Flurry had to be assisted on and off the stage by Grant Turgeon.  Many who witnessed Turgeon assisting Flurry had shivers go up their spines.  Grant is the son of Wayne Turgeon has turned out to be one of the more abusive ministers of the church.  Wayne is feared by many and seems to take great delight in that. Grant has turned into a parrot and mouths the same garbage that his father does and is now treating members the same way. PCG members are also afraid to see what position Wayne will assume once Flurry dies.  Ranked an "evangelist" in the PCG, his rapid rise up through the ranks of the PCG happened because he married Gerald Flurry's daughter.  Countless stories of his abusive polices have been detailed on this blog and on Exit and Support.

It has been reported that even though Flurry was in a weakened state, his message was the same malarkey that he has been spouting for the last  20 some years.  Eternal death, famines, plagues and nuclear destruction are soon to be meted out on the heathens in the Untied States, Great Britain and  Australia. Flurry is like Meredith and Pack who seem to go into orgasmic delight at death and destruction scenarios.  Nothing could elapse them more.

Attendance at PCG's Feast this year was also down dramatically.  One behind-the-scenes source said it was "...a shadow of what it was in the heyday of the PCG."  They mentioned the Greenville SC Feast site: 

I remember attending the Feast back in the early 2000s when we had over 1300 people attending at Greenville SC and Sandusky OH.  Flurry would proudly shout and boast at the Feast  that the PCG would eventually have 10,000 members. Now the members attending at the Feast are around 700-800 people.

Because of the horrific abuse, suicides and deaths that have plagued the PCG over the last decade members are leaving in droves.

The question is WHO gets to crown himself the Next Apostle and prophet of the PCG once Flurry passes on? His son Steven or Wayne Turgeon? Is the public display of Grant Turgeon helping the failing Flurry a sign of Who is next in line?
