Dave Pack "...has unashamedly led his membership on a wild farcical Adventist ride that has been nothing short of shameful"

WHAT ABOUT THE TRUTH said...

I was just cleaning my desk out and found an old CD of one of Dave's sermons. I miss Dave, so I had to play it.

What did Dave have to say? He asked do you know what makes God's church different than all the other Christian churches? We obey all that God commands us to do including obeying the traditions established by the righteous servant and apostle Herbert Armstrong.

He then went on to explain that a number of ministers and members had left the church in the last two weeks. One of the ministers was found to be quite bad in his conduct but Dave and headquarters never knew.

To fix this situation from never happening again, he went on to quote Paul who told the brethren to mark them that are disorderly and sow division. This is a command the THEY have to obey he told them, even if that person is a minister.

It only takes one quick glance into the RCG to see who is perpetrating great disorder and division.

For the past 10 years the "all brethren reunited" and "greatest story never told" series has amounted to at least half of all of those sermons being either completely thrown away or completely reinterpreted. I would say that is division.

For the past 10 years Dave has defined himself as the person or role fulfillment of at least a dozen named individuals in the Bible. That means 12 people just got kicked out of the Bible to make way for Dave. I would call that division.

How many marriages, how many families and how many homes did Dave divide in half for his take of the money via "Common"? That is called division.

How many people were terminated, excommunicated and publicly humiliated for calling out his lies? That is disorder.

Who has unashamedly led his membership on a wild farcical Adventist ride that has been nothing short of shameful? That is a disorder which creates much disorder.

Dave Pack: "we are "swimming in metrics"

From an RCG source

According to the master, prophesy is an "enigma" and an "obscure saying". So, I suppose this means that God was simply drawing our attention to these enigmas for the last six years, not actually solving them through His chosen apostle of glory. Huh, you still get disfellowshipped for respectful disagreement with his interpretations. I'm confused, is God's authority behind His word or the man He so obviously has chosen? Interesting times.

Also of note, shout it to the whole world... we are "swimming in metrics"... we are IN the season of the anti-christ. But not to worry, 100 Billion people will soon be resurrected to face the judgment of David C Pack in a 75 day window in an environment of paradise.

We are left to ponder the addition of a new glass to the table and an ominous question mark indicating its time signification.

A personal note: I know most of the people sitting in that hall, attending these insane Bible studies. They are in a hopelessly trapped position, unable to speak anything that would even remotely undermine the authority of the series while at the same time planning Church events months into the future, ie into a time which they are duty bound to believe and speak as though will be a time of prophetic fulfillment. Many of these individuals/couples/families have liquidated their assets and given the proceeds to the Church. They now live in homes owned by the Church and they derive their household income from the Church. One misstep or misspeak and they lose it all... they're out on the street with nothing. They have fallen into a trap that is very difficult to get out of. Pack has them right where he needs them, constantly lending their credibility to the derangement of the RCG with no ability to escape.

Imagine if you will...

Apostle Dave Pack...

“This highway leads to the shadowy tip of reality: you're on a through route to the land of the different, the bizarre, the unexplainable...Go as far as you like on this road. Its limits are only those of mind itself. Ladies and Gentlemen, you're entering the wondrous dimension of imagination. . .
Next stop The Twilight Zone.”

5 Kingdoms and Ministerial Chess Moves - Dave Pack's Madness Intensifies

5 Kingdoms and Ministerial Chess Moves - Dave's Madness Intensifies

He can't stop. He's not able to stop. Almost weekly now he claims all this will end and his Jesus and the Father will usher in 5 Kingdoms. Dave Pack himself (the Elijah don't you know), will have great power.

5 Kingdoms. You read that right. We're talking Game of Thrones level drama. Hell,
Nebuchadenezer is going to be resurrected as the golden head folks!

Pictured we have him illustrating a 2.5 day period, then a 1 day, then 22.5 days, then 3.5 days, then 75 days, then 7 years, then a millennium. Simplicity in Christ, you see.

Just a week ago, he gave three parts to his un-ending sermon series. It culminated in part 321 where he claimed he was done and everything was about to come to pass.

Not even a week passed, and he had many more hours of nonsense to preach. Wednesday, part 322. Then, according to RCG, "a powerful element modifying timing came clear immediately after today's message was delivered." Translation, Dave was immediately wrong and had to correct himself. This lead to part 323 being delivered on Thursday, where he again claims the series is over. In fact, his very message is an oracle from a prophet who has been raised.

All the while, he must believe none of this is true because he is moving his ministers around like a frantic timed chess game. James and Sandra Rodrequiez have been moved from HQ to Colorado. (They are likely on their way to leaving RCG altogether if they have been sent out of headquarters.) Vidal and Christina Wachuku have been moved from Florida to Texas. The Jacksons have been moved from California to Florida. And the Rouzans (whose wife and son have already left RCG) have been moved from Chicago to California. Palmer has been moved to Atlanta and Garb has been moved to HQ from New Zealand.

The madness continues. And people stay...tithing, giving their life savings.

Dave Pack: Why He Cannot Be Right On The Return Of Jesus

I'm not sure if this is three or four years IN A ROW that Christ/The Father are supposed to come during the Feast/Last Great Day. As a former member and employee at Headquarters, I remember feeling so bad for the brethren who had to sit and listen to the endless sermons during the Feast. I felt even worse for those who were truly EXCITED that "this was finally it" and Christ was coming inside hours. The days preached about will often move during each message the Feast. Tonight. No, tomorrow. No, the Last Great Day. No, just after the Feast.

In 2020, Mr. Pack told brethren on the first day that they were not going home. I sat at the back of the room and mused to myself (but lacked the courage to actually say it to his face), "If you're not coming back from the Feast, Mr. Pack...may I please have the keys to your house and your security code since you won't need it anymore?" It was a private thought. I know I would have been walked to the door instantly. I wasn’t ready to leave. Yet.

I left RCG in March of this year and I have watched from afar (and heard from brethren still attending) that the roller coaster I got off of is still rolling around in an endless circle. It won’t stop. Only God can stop this machine that must keep going.

To those who are reading this and say, “They deserve it” – I would ask, “Where is your compassion?” There are a lot of really wonderful, kind, intelligent, and just plain ‘good’ people in RCG. They were sold a bill of goods by a man who has drifted from the truth he once proclaimed to uphold.

The greatest critic of David C. Pack on the face of the earth…is David C. Pack. Just go back and re-read some of the literature from years ago with his name on it and you would clearly see he convicts himself. That’s why brethren today cannot find that literature on the website or in print. The man has already accused himself.

The brethren are not stupid. The ministers are not stupid. The ministers are not wicked. They know something is wrong…the Bible tells them it’s wrong. “But where else am I supposed to go?” These poor people don’t know what to do but sit tight and wait it out.

When you are fully convicted that you are in the right place, following the right people…and things drift off course and you begin to realize, “maybe this isn’t the place” – that is a hard, hard thing to see. (I’m still struggling with it.) I invested so much in RCG for the almost 9 years I was there…that is a difficult thing to say, “Wow, I was wrong. And I don’t know what to do now.” The basis of all your beliefs are shaken to the ground.

To any harsh critics out there: Let me know what fundamental belief you held in your life for years and then realized it was wrong and were able to just shrug it off as no big deal…and say to yourself, "I should have known better."

But for those still in RCG...don't worry. After the Feast, there will be some silence by Mr. Pack while he confers with his inner circle for a while...then will have an exciting message to let you know, "everything is still right on track" and "nothing has changed." – The two most insulting phrases the man can utter…and he does after every failure…which means he has much opportunity to say those words.

But what do I know? After all, I’m just an antichrist.

M. Cebrian

PS – Jesus Christ will not be returning tomorrow. Why not?

Because it is impossible for David C. Pack to be right.

UPDATED: Dave Pack Humiliated Again: Another Logic-Challenged Dave Pack Video Exposed

Updated: part of the original post was missing below

Submitted by Michael:

YouTube critic Paulogia has done another episode on breaking down the nonsense of a David C. Pack (DCP) video, as usual with research and well-done graphics behind it.

Most here will probably agree that Dave is one doozy of a blowhard, charlatan, and tyrant, even bordering on if not psychotic, but here Paulogia is only dealing with the logical non-sequiturs and sloppy arguments in one particular DCP video.

Some notable time points:

at 1:16, DCP states:

"Any true god would never leave his creation - mankind - in doubt about whether he exists"

This is quite the statement from Pack, and I wonder whether he realizes that he's making an argument *against* his own position here? Since it's an undeniable fact that agnostics/atheists exist (we must all agree that they exist, whether or not one agrees with their position), there is clearly a portion of mankind that is at least "in doubt about whether he exists". And Pack is arguing that no true god would ever allow this situation to occur. (What conclusion does that suggest, Dave?)

at 7:00, DCP makes the following shocking statement:

"Now think hard, who is more intelligent, God who made perfect food, or men who find every possible way to alter and degrade it before consuming it?"

As Paulogia notes, the very foods shown in DCP's own video are decidedly *not* foods as "created by God", but were bred and artificially selected by generations of humans to be more palatable and convenient (bananas, apples, avocados, etc.). The original versions of these were almost inedible, or at least not as pleasurable and nutritious as their current forms.

And altering foods is often the only possible way to consume them. For example, try to eat rice or wheat off the plant without considerable processing and cooking. The statement by DCP simply makes no logical or practical sense.

Not a logical fallacy, but just had to chuckle at this at 22:50:

"I have *personally* seen a photograph of [Lucy's] supposed skeleton...."

As if viewing a photograph (probably on the internet) somehow gives DCP extra credence? Honestly, I thought he was going to say something like he had personally seen Lucy's bones at the National Museum of Ethiopia, but no, not even that lol, just "I have personally seen a photograph", as have hundreds of millions of other people on this planet. What was the point, really, of that boast?

Those interested can view the video if desired, but WCGers, in particular, will appreciate how DCP ends his videos:

"Until next time this is David C. Pack saying: Goodbye friends",

Which is funny, because it never ceases to amaze how some of the splinters feel they have to emulate HWA in every single facet, yes, even in using the exact wording to sign off lol. Even down to using the middle initial, as "Herbert W. Armstrong" used to do. That is one sign of those in a cult, wanting to emulate their cult hero in every form possible.

All in all, DCP drags out old, poorly researched points, most quoted from popular books that have been critiqued and debunked in the past ad nauseum.

Incidentally, the original DCP video has a sizable 623,000 views, what's up with that? And RCG site has 193,000 subscribers? This seems awfully fishy for a splinter which can't possibly have more than 10K members if that many.

Dave Pack: Toasting 22 Years of Failed Prophecies, Greed, and Deception

From an RCG source:

On Saturday, May 8, members at the Headquarters congregation gathered after services in the Hall of Administration to mark and celebrate 22 years since the corporation was instituted.
Prior to a toast, Pastor General David Pack commented on the growth of members as well as the
facilities that allow God's Work to move forward.

This photo of Dave's ministers in 2010 shows the amazing defection of ministers from the church.

Even more of those faces uncovered above are also now gone.

Apparently, this is the kind of  "growth" members need to be proud of.

When your own leaders walk away it should be an indicator that something's wrong in Wadsworth.

Dave Pack: Caught Lying Again Has To Move The Goal Posts Further Out

From Dave's mind:

For many reasons, we are still not out of time! The spectacular complexity of the picture has moved many BIG things we are waiting for closer to the start - but also widen the window of our wait. The idea of counting back from the Last Great Day no longer applies as we understand it - something a brief email cannot explain. Suffice to say, we are still right where we need to be. With no reason to believe we must "wait another year"!

Have a profitable Sabbath. May God speed the arrival of His Kingdom as the world only gets worse with each passing day.

Why Do the Members of the Restored and Philadelphian Church of God Cults Stay Gyrating in Their Seats?

How Authoritarians Leaders Get Away with It
The one psychological move that frees followers from doubt.

(read the complete article here)
Excerpts from the article:

Experimental psychologist Bob Altemeyer spent his entire career studying authoritarians, both the leaders and the followers. In 1998, he wrote:

“Wanna-be tyrants in a democracy are just comical figures on soapboxes when they have no following. So the real…threat lay coiled in parts of the population itself…ready someday to catapult the next Hitler to power with their votes.”

His and other’s research yields this list of conclusions about authoritarian followers whether they follow tyrants on the left, right, religious, spiritual, whatever:

1. They are highly ethnocentric, highly inclined to see the world as their in-group versus everyone else. Because they are so committed to their in-group, they are very zealous in its cause.

2. They are highly fearful of a dangerous world. Their parents taught them, more than parents usually do, that the world is dangerous. They may also be genetically predisposed to experiencing stronger fear than most people do.

3. They are highly self-righteous. They believe they are the “good people” and this unlocks a lot of hostile impulses against those they consider bad.

4. They are aggressive. Given the chance to attack someone with the approval of an authority, they will lower the boom.

5. Their beliefs are a mass of contradictions. They have highly compartmentalized minds, in which opposite beliefs exist side-by-side in adjacent boxes. As a result, their thinking is full of double-standards.

6. They reason poorly. If they like the conclusion of an argument, they don’t pay much attention to whether the evidence is valid or the argument is consistent.

7. They are highly dogmatic. Because they have gotten their beliefs mainly from the authorities in their lives, rather than think things out for themselves, they have no real defense when facts or events indicate they are wrong. So they just dig in their heels and refuse to change.

8. They are very dependent on social reinforcement of their beliefs. They think they are right because almost everyone they know, almost every news broadcast they see, almost every radio commentator they listen to, tells them they are. That is, they screen out the sources that will suggest that they are wrong.

9. Because they severely limit their exposure to different people and ideas, they vastly overestimate the extent to which other people agree with them. And thinking they are “the moral majority” supports their attacks on the “evil minorities” they see in the country.

10. They are easily duped by manipulators who pretend to espouse their causes when all the con-artists really want is personal gain.

11. They are largely blind to themselves. They have little self-understanding and insight into why they think and do what they do.

Why would people be like this? Lots of reasons that are hard to distinguish. There are probably evolutionary origins beta males subordinating themselves in species with alpha males. Upbringing and social context play a role. We could list benefits of being a follower, for example, that self-certainty is fun. We could also list the costs of the alternatives, for example, that self-doubt, changing one’s mind, or admitting you’re wrong is uncomfortable.

Then there are those who aren’t choosing to be followers but can’t help it because they actually can’t think hard enough to make their own big choices. And then there’s an often overlooked factor: The more complicated the world becomes the more appealing it is to give up on thinking and put trust in an authority who speaks with confidence.

We need to know what motivates authoritarian followers in order to figure out how to deal with them. Demanding that someone think harder will backfire with people who can’t. Calling them con-artists when they’re simpletons or simpletons when they’re con-artists will backfire too. Still, it’s hard to discern true motives, especially with authoritarian-followers, people who don’t know their own motives and so couldn’t or wouldn’t report them.

Here then, rather than focusing on what motivates them, I’ll focus on how they can justify and rationalize believing anything their leaders say and do. I’ll call their approach "machine envy.” They act like they think life’s questions can be answered by a machine that they have discovered and become. Input anything into the machine, you get the one reliable true output.

An algorithm is basically a reliable machine made of numbers, for example, 1+X=Y. Whatever you put into X, you’ll get a reliable output for Y.

Authoritarian followers pretend life is reducible to machine-like cause and effect algorithms. It is the alternative to thinking, defined as doubting, wondering, struggling with ambiguity and ambivalence. Computers may be “intelligent” by some definitions of the term, but they do not think as defined here. They don’t strive to discern differences as though their lives depended on it. Humans think, not that we love having to do it. Still, our lives depend on it.

With authoritarian followers, the thinking is already over. They’re not guessing at what’s true. There’s no interpretation left to do. They and their leaders have already done all the interpretation necessary. They discovered the truth, embraced it, internalized it, and now only have to act on it like machines. They see reality clearly, truly and purely through their unambiguous mechanistic world view.

It's All Your Fault! "People that are abused either physically, mentally, or both did things before God healed them that were bad"

I have been sitting on this response from True Christian that came through earlier this morning because I wasn't going to publish it. The more I read it the more insulting it is. This is a comment that was sent to "Dave Pack's Sickening Ability To Destroy Families In His Cult".

This comment reeks of bad theology because the theology they have been spoon-fed by COG leaders,  especially by Dave Pack, has been totally destructive. Jesus really is not that much in the picture other than telling people to "go and sin no more". COG members have no concept of what grace, justification, and sanctification means, and thus they need to rely upon mental midgets like Dave Pack and Bob Thiel to receive visions and dreams from their creature gods. Because of that, we are supposed to excuse their "mistakes" and give them a pass when they lie, tell false prophecies, and/or mentally and spiritually abuse members. No one is allowed to judge these leaders, only the creature god that rules those churches can do that.

I know Mr. Pack isn't perfect but hear me out. For people looking for a better life., Church of god literature will It is the most Biblically based literature. Church of god literature is because it is backed up by the bible. Our restored church of god it is a good church option that promises to help you further your character building with god. You need to remember something, ok people here at banned by Hwa. Christ said there would be tares mixed with the wheat. He said do not pull them up or the wheat would be pulled up too! We must never think the whole congregation is corrupt because of a couple of evil people. Satan has always come after God's people but he can't unless God allows it. But also people that lived terrible lives before they were called God can and does make clean after they are called and they never do really bad sins again. People that are abused either physically, mentally, or both did things before God healed them that were bad. Like Christ did when He was on this earth!! He healed and loved them and Said, "sin no more!!" GOD IS HIS JUDGE. We will know though. Everything that happened. Anyway, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us and there is no one worthy, no, NOT ONE!! because it is ourselves we should be looking at and repent of. No man is perfect not even apostles so we must remember that before pointing out everyone else's mistakes. So please stop talking about Mr. David C. Pack.

Dave Pack's Sickening Ability To Destroy Families In His Cult

We have reported many stories here over the years from people who have been abused by Dave Pack and his cult. In spite of literally THOUSANDS of documented lies, Dave, in the eyes of his followers has the "sure word of prophecy" and as a result, they fall for his endless lies as if they were true. Whatever he says is directly inspired by the creature god he follows. Members have been bankrupted, marriages broken and families ripped apart all due to Dave's lies.

Exit & Support Network has a letter up today from a former child survivor of the Restored Church of God cult. Another life has been appallingly ripped apart and family relationships destroyed because of Dave Pack.

On several Facebook pages, there have been hundreds of stories from people who have shared how their lives had been ripped apart by Armstrongism over the decades, with many lamenting childhoods lost. From sexual abuse by pedophiles in the church, physical abuse from daily beatings and spankings, to spiritual abuse, the stories are deep and painful. Exit & Support Network, The Painful Truth, this blog, and hundreds of personal blogs have documented these horror stories over the years and yet people still sit there week after week letting this megalomaniac control their lives.

Life Has Been Full of Turmoil After Being a Child Survivor of RCG:
August 3, 2021

I only found this site Friday evening. I left RCG at 16 and since then life has been full of turmoil, counselling at 18, sleeping issues, moments of deep self condemnation and so on. And now I’m 20 and still have moments where I feel overwhelmed with thoughts of what I witnessed and went through along with my younger sibling. Even to this day I find it almost a mental tug of war to accept a shift on a Saturday (even when funds are running low). Not to mention the flashbacks of abuse and domestic violence that I experienced and witnessed first hand. I really wish to find others who left RCG (or other splinters) because funnily enough I still consider so many as extended family. It saddens me when I think about all those who “died in faith”; all those who turned their back on their blood family for the “spiritual family.”

I remember my [parent’s] word “If you leave this, I want nothing to do with you, you are excommunicated from Christ and His government,” etc., etc (bear in mind this all began when I was approximately 7-9 years old when I was just starting out as a child in RCG). I completed all the children’s Bible studies, fasted from my first Day of Atonement (as other children and some adults ate), gave up all my worldly dreams all for the sake of acceptance by my [parent]. How is that in anyway shape or form the love of Christ or God?

As well as the multiple years of being told to “abase and humble yourself,” “we are dust, nothing,” “we must be spiritually de-leavened,” and then in the next breath be told we are “God’s chosen” and “true spiritual Israel”; “God is a family and He will make us gods too.”

I feel I’ve jumped around from topic to topic quite frantically, but the more poems, child survivor testimonies and even seeing some ex-ministers for example speak out about things over 8 years ago, it’s just back to back making me feel stupid for the childhood lost and desperate for my [parent] to finally see sense.

I just wish I could rekindle some type of faith again in something because in all honesty RCG not only destroyed my idea of religion but God himself. I’m no atheist but the thought of the Christian God or the Islamic God (any form of so called Abrahamic faith) just makes me lose hope.
I managed to have good dialogue with [a relative] and they explained that they came across this site but didn’t tell me because they felt I would react negatively. But, in fact, it’s just made me feel better, that I’m not the only one, and just from the poems I read in the evening have eased my mind and heart.

Thank you ESN for making this site.Thank you very, very much. I feel that finally I have answers that make sense and I accept my role as a child who was in a cult. –Child survivor of RCG in UK [name withheld]

Dave Pack Blows A Gasket Over Ex-Members Gathering Together To Celebrate 4th of July

Dave Pack popped his prophetic white shirt last week when he lashed out at ex-members and ex-employees who got together to celebrate the 4th of July together. One of his ass-kissing young men on the payroll has been monitoring certain facebook pages of ex-member/employees to find any dirt he can report back to Dave with. Imagine living a life so petty and filled with such jealousy that this is what you spend your day doing so you can run and "impress" Dave. Little does this guy know that he will suffer the same wrath from Dave and be treated like dirt at some point in the future, just like the ex-employees and ex-members were.

Dave was incensed that these people all gathered together to celebrate the 4th of July. Imagine that! Dave really popped the buttons on his white shirt when he said some of these ex-members and ex-employees were CHRISTMAS KEEPERS! How dare some of these people associate with such heathens! Even worse, there were ex-members and ex-employees who were supposedly there from various splinter groups. How dare those people associate with Christmas keepers! Lord have mercy! Imagine a group of exRCG people enjoying a day of fun, friendship, and patriotism! What a damnable thing to do!

Dave was not happy that these people chose to gather on the 4th of July instead of waiting patiently for Dave's creature called "christ" to return on the weekend of July 17. Which it did not, as we all know.

So, now we wait for the creature to return this Saturday, but I have a feeling it will delay its second coming once again so it can watch the Olympics. After all, what would be more interesting....some creature return to Wadsworth to walk the hallowed ground of Dave's campus or watching the amazing abilities of world-class athletes in all their glory? Even JC knows the answer to that!

It's a strange thing. There's a group of people who recently who got together for the 4th of July, a week ago. Somebody showed me some pictures of them, and a lot of them are now Christmas keepers and a lot of others are in the splinters. And the one thing they had in common was that they had all been here (RCG HQ in Wadsworth, Ohio). But it was like there was no difference between them! Whether you are a Christmas keeper or you go to a splinter they are all right there enjoying the 4thof July together and they are happy to post it. Now I thought about some of the people who left us who would rather go send the 4th of July with CHRISTMAS KEEPERS, Easter, Halloween, who blew off all the laws of God and they wouldn't even say good-bye to us, never mind Thank-you, for anything.   Well, there's a lot of actors out there who are stage players and God has to get rid of them. And if people will quit when there is no fire, Come now and have a great meal and you can have eternal life in a few days and they say, "No, I choose my field and my cows or my wife who is gonna be DEAD WITH ME!" Boy, oh boy! Shallow, actors! So we ended where we started. There are a lot of people who are like that. Many are called, few are chosen. Blessed are those and happy are those who come to the 1335 and are REALLY BLESSED is a tiny little flock and there was always for 2,000 years a tiny ongoing microblock, generation by generation who actually going to be blessed a week before the others and I think it'll happen God willing, within the next week!

Even nominal Christians know that the God of Scripture has a far better outlook about people's lives than Daves nasty vengeful god does. Dave needs all of the COG reprobates to die horrible deaths in order to be proven right while scripture states just the opposite:

MSG
Don’t overlook the obvious here, friends. With God, one day is as good as a thousand years, a thousand years as a day. God isn’t late with his promise as some measure lateness. He is restraining himself on account of you, holding back the End because he doesn’t want anyone lost. He’s giving everyone space and time to change.
NIV
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
NRSV
The Lord is not slow about his promise, as some think of slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish, but all to come to repentance.
KJV
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Dave Pack Believes Clothing And Make-Up Are More Important Than Jesus

Never let it be said that Church of God groups place Jesus above all else.

In the Church of God other things are more important: keeping the law, not eating pork, the color of your car, the length of a person's hair, the color of men's dress shirts, the length of dresses, who has the best COG, who has printed the most booklets and literature, and what kind of cookies to bring to a picnic. These are the things God is apparently very concerned about.

Jesus, however, is seldom spoken of, and when he is he is portrayed as a pissed-off god just itching to return to earth and fry the butts of Laodiceans and other unbelievers while COG members stand around in righteous poses and chortle in glee.

Exit and Support Network had this question sent to them about Dave Pack's cult:

I have been invited to RCG services. I’ve spoken to the local minister and I was asked about my hair, jewelry, hosiery and other questions. I don’t feel this is of a godly nature. I’m having second thoughts. I asked if I could bring my husband and he asked about his hair.

"Easy Peasy" APistol David C Pack Knows What UFOs Really Are

I made the effort to listen to Sermon 305 but same old, same old. More rambling, scripture mining, and cobbling the unrelated into the irrelevant, signifying nothing.  He does like the phrase "Easy Peasy" when something is obvious so here is the takeaway.

UFOs are clearly demons preparing our minds for what is to come. It is no coincidence this comes up just before everything Dave understands is about to come to pass.

Dave Pack: "Never has the world been so ripe for God to fix its endless and insoluble problems."

The end is nigh! Again!

Dave Pack sent out a letter to his members and coworkers the other day. It is a perfect deflection away from his extensive list of failed prophecies over the last few months.

Dear Brethren and Co-Workers,

Greetings from Headquarters! A week of unseasonably warm weather brought God’s campus to life sooner than ever to start spring. I have never seen such an early spring in Ohio. Even Japan’s famous cherry blossoms set records, flowering earlier than they have in 1,200 years! Many attribute this phenomenon to global warming, but few consider that God—the Creator of all life and seasons—is behind it. Let’s read.

When Dave started having one epic failure after another, some commented that we would soon see Dave as explaining away those supposed failures as not failures at all. While the physical thing never happened, it happened spiritually. Right on cue, he does so below. though he is using these examples to explain the early blooming of flowers and trees in Wadsworth Ohio. It's a miracle from his god meant to show members that Dave's kingdom is here!  Woo hoo!

Often Christ taught His disciples using physical examples to describe larger spiritual principles or lessons. All through my ministry I tried to do the same. Physical people—including those with God’s Holy Spirit—understand and relate best to physical things in life. Here is what Christ said about the fig tree and all the trees in the Olivet Prophecy: “When they now shoot forth, you see and know of your own selves that summer is now near at hand. So likewise you, when you see these things [He had just listed many] come to pass, know you that the Kingdom of God is near at hand” (Luke 21:30-31). These verses describe germination and budbreak in all the trees—exactly what we are seeing now. The parallel accounts in Matthew 24 and Mark 13 add that the fig tree even has tender (young) branching and leaves, signaling “summer”—meaning the Kingdom—is near. Again, this is happening now! We are NOW in the run-up to summer. For those in the world, springtime is just another season—one that involves vibrant colors and warm weather returning. But God intends we see this time of year very differently, relating it to His Kingdom being near!

Now to the real spiritual meat of the matter. The kingdom of God might come this summer then the kingdom of Israel needs to happen every soon. Wut?

Virtually no one knows that Christ arrives first to build a brief “kingdom to Israel” (Acts 1:6). Christ and Peter called this the “restitution of all things” (Acts 3:21Matt. 17:11 and Mark 9:12) that precedes the Kingdom of God. Of course the Kingdom of God cannot be restored since it has never been here, but the kingdom of Israel has. Again, no Church has this knowledge—even though MANY other verses (Old Testament and New) support it! If the Kingdom of God comes in summer, then the brief—less than a month—kingdom of Israel must come very soon if it is to arrive this year. (Note that 17 modern nations comprise the lost tribes of Israel today. Today’s nation called Israel is just one tribe, Judah.) While this is not the world government that will be the Kingdom of God yet, it is a titanic event that will rock the planet after coming as a snare (Luke 21:34-36) that NO ONE expects! (Why God will send Christ to build this kingdom first is a story too long for this letter.)

Then like any good COG prophet, he gets all twitterpated over world events as a sure sign the end is nigh.

Alongside the spring season, God has given us unmistakable world events that make plain His intervention in world affairs is close. Earlier in the same chapter, Luke describes “wars and commotions” alongside ethnic instability and national conflict. Consider world turmoil today: U.S. tensions with China, Iran, North Korea and Russia, who is also pressuring Ukraine, as well as South China Sea territorial disputes, civil war in Syria, unrest in Venezuela, the U.S.-Mexico border crisis, the ongoing war in Afghanistan, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict (the latest chapter includes over 1,000 rockets fired into Israel in just the last two days), and so much more. All of these stand alongside the global pandemic and that 2020 was one of the worst years on record for hurricanes, storms and fires. Never has the world been so ripe for God to fix its endless and insoluble problems.

I imagine the citizens of Europe thought the same thing in the midst of WWII. And what the citizens of Japan thought when the earthquake and tsunami hit. The COG always sees the world as always in a state of insoluble problems and predicts the coming of their kingdom. They thought this in 1986 when HWA died and the shuttle blew up. It was a sure sign from their god.

And the world is experiencing problems faster than ever—as well as in new and different ways. Last week, America suffered one of its worst cyberattacks in history. Hackers penetrated the Colonial Pipeline system—an oil provider responsible for 45% of the eastern U.S.’s supply. As explained by a subject expert, it was “the most significant, successful attack on energy infrastructure” the country has ever suffered (Politico). Sixteen states and Washington, D.C. are now under an emergency declaration, with a growing number declaring an outright emergency: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. In a world as interconnected as the one we live in, such commotions can turn into catastrophe fast! Supply chains are very fragile. And EVERYTHING turns on fuel costs. One top expert, quoting a group of others, says if this is not fixed by Friday, “all bloody hell is going to break loose.” I remember the bad 1974 Arab oil embargo. It was nothing beside this!

Now consider that a year has passed since the death of George Floyd, which sparked massive unrest and $2 billion in property damage in the following months. The police officer accused of murdering Floyd was recently found guilty. If the officer had been acquitted, the world would have spiraled into a level of chaos and unrest that would have made the summer of 2020 look tame. But he was found guilty, meaning we may begin to see many in the police force across America begin to resign. Early indicators of this have already appeared:

Portland, OR: Last year alone saw 115 officers quit the force—an unprecedented number.

Seattle, WA: Over 200 officers quit after months of anti-police riots.

Louisville, KY: Since the death of Breonna Taylor, more than 150 have resigned.

Washington, D.C.: Metro police saw 313 officers leave over the last year.

Minneapolis, MN: Close to 200 officers have applied to resign from a force that is only 850-strong (24%).

New York City, NY: Over 3,500 in the NYPD resigned or retired last year—a 75% increase over 2019.

Chicago, IL: About 560 officers retired in 2020—a 15% increase over the previous year.

If time were to go on, we would watch the world’s most powerful nation rapidly descend into full-blown anarchy. GRASP THIS! This in and of itself proves God’s Kingdom is near.

There is no "full-blown" anarchy raging across the country, much to the disappointment of COG doomsayers.

Adding to the confusion in Minneapolis is the recent death of 20-year-old Daunte Wright—shot by a police officer after resisting arrest. Body cam footage of the fatal shooting showed the police officer grabbing the wrong weapon from her holster. Thinking she was about to tase the man, she instead discharged her gun, fatally wounding him in the side. The city—and shortly thereafter the entire nation—lit up with protests, riots and looting, prompting deployment of the national guard in Minneapolis and other large cities. 1,000 businesses sit burned out and destroyed in Minneapolis alone.

While these types of police shootings capture headlines, violence in no way stops there. Just think of the 30-year-old mother who recently made headlines for fatally stabbing her three children in cold blood—all of which were under the age of six. Involved in a custody dispute with the children’s father, she became mentally unstable. After the murders, she stole a car and fled. Stories like this make one physically sick, and long for God to put an END to rampant evil.

What would the world look like if time did go on? How bad would it get? In addition to worsening violence and division, we would see more disease, social distancing and widespread school and business closures. Many now fear “vaccine passports” will be used to deny service to those who decline vaccination. In an increasingly tyrannical society, will those who make the personal choice not to vaccinate be allowed to board a plane—work at certain businesses—go to school—even dine in certain restaurants? No one can doubt the impact the virus has had on government ability to control the citizenry.

Then there are the proposed medical “solutions” being discussed. God long ago told Israel, “I am the LORD that heals you” (Ex. 15:26). He wants to heal the modern nations of Israel—and the world—of COVID and other diseases! Scientists and doctors can do their best, but their methods are inadequate—and sometimes reckless.

And yet Dave was the one reckless person we saw spouting off about COVID and telling his followers not to be concerned with it actually caught it and came close to dying because he was so sick and then was deceptive to his members though it all acting as if nothing was wrong.

While the world is in turmoil over COVID and various vaccine issues and problems, the next frontier of virus intervention involves subdermal implants to monitor the bloodstream. As a doctor leading the effort told 60 Minutes, “That tiny green thing in there, you put it underneath your skin and what that tells you is that there are chemical reactions going on inside the body and that signal means you are going to have symptoms tomorrow.” He likened it to a “check-engine light,” and assured listeners, “It’s not some dreaded government microchip to track your every move, but a tissue-like gel engineered to continuously test your blood.” Patients can then be connected to a dialysis machine to have the virus filtered out of their blood. Ask: Is THIS what God wants for human beings created in His image? Again—He wants to heal us, with all solutions devised by mankind inferior! If man has proven anything it is that he is INCAPABLE of ending what is a relatively “tame” disease. In India alone, the daily case count has been hovering around 400,000—and this is well over a year-and-a-half after the virus started to spread!

But there are scientific “advancements” on multiple fronts. According to a report from National Public Radio, “For the first time, scientists have created embryos that are a mix of human and monkey cells.” This is an abomination in the sight of God. Humans have an awesome potential made plain in the Bible. Hybridizing them with primates is not part of that Plan!

Perhaps even more dangerous is the radical transformation of the levers of government controlling American society. For more than 230 years there have been three branches of government in the United States. A careful system of checks and balances were instituted to ensure no one branch became too powerful. Each branch itself was also structured to prevent abuse of power. All of this may soon change. On April 9, President Biden issued an Executive Order “Creating the Presidential Commission on the Supreme Court of the United States.” “The Commission’s purpose [according to a White House statement] is to provide an analysis of…the Court’s role in the Constitutional system; the length of service and turnover of justices on the Court; the membership and size of the Court; and the Court’s case selection, rules, and practices.” The endgame is what many have feared: to “pack” the United States Supreme Court. Increasing the number of justices will politicize the court and make it more easily controlled by those who hold power in the Executive and Legislative branches—effectively destroying the already fragile checks and balances that remain.

The radical agenda being foisted on America is already moving forward at alarming speed. What will happen if the Supreme Court is controlled by these modern revolutionaries?

The nations of the world who once viewed America and other democratic, modern Western nations with respect—as beacons of light—now mock and laugh. Will God allow such a radical transformation of America to occur before the arrival of His Kingdom? Would the birthright blessings remain in America? Would it even still be America in a year or even six months?

Finally, many nations around the world continue to experience turmoil in the form of natural disasters. For instance, there is the La Soufrière volcano on the island of St. Vincent in the Caribbean that began erupting April 9. Pyroclastic flows of very hot lava fragments, ash and gases destroyed everything in their path. As the recovery process began, one person stated, “You have a foot of ash on everyone’s roofs. You have all the crops that are completely destroyed…Then you have boulders that were on fire that literally came through people’s roofs” (CNN). And this is just one example of a natural disaster in one place in a world brimming with such events. Other disasters are manmade—like one bombing near a girls’ school in Kabul that left more than 85 dead, mostly young girls.

Yes, brethren, the world is rapidly spiraling down the drain, BUT, never fear! The RCG is here!!!!

Brethren and co-workers, standing in stark contrast to this ever-deteriorating world is the amazing worldwide Work God is doing NOW leading up to His Kingdom. As reported in the last letter, Church growth has since continued. And this year’s Spring Holy Day offerings far—FAR—exceeded expectations! Both days exceeded 26% over last year. Pentecost is this Sunday and there is every reason to expect this trend of generosity will continue—particularly given it is the only “stand-alone” Holy Day. Many have been able to give more because their offering does not compete with an adjacent Feast day. For these annual offerings as well as general offerings you give throughout the year, I want to thank you on behalf of God. They go a long way to reaching others with God’s precious knowledge.

While this letter is to members of God’s Church, it is also written for co-workers who elect to support the Work of God—including some of you who may want to take your commitment one step further in attending services. The Restored Church of God has ministers around the world eager to serve those whom He may be calling. If this is you, I encourage you to write us at rcg.org/contact. While these personal letters provide wonderful updates on God’s Work and world conditions leading up to the arrival of the Kingdom, there is so much more to God’s Church and way of life!

Just as Paul closed his first letter to the Thessalonians, I, too, ask you brethren and co-workers to “pray for us” (5:25). We here at Headquarters are praying for all of you.

In Christ’s service,

David C. Pack

P.S. to brethren: Referencing the kingdom to Israel above would naturally evoke questions. It is my hope to deliver a 15-20 minute message as early as tomorrow that simplifies everything in a way I could never do before. It will be posted ASAP.

Money, money, money, It's a rich man's world!
