Dave Pack: Toasting 22 Years of Failed Prophecies, Greed, and Deception

From an RCG source:

On Saturday, May 8, members at the Headquarters congregation gathered after services in the Hall of Administration to mark and celebrate 22 years since the corporation was instituted.
Prior to a toast, Pastor General David Pack commented on the growth of members as well as the
facilities that allow God's Work to move forward.

This photo of Dave's ministers in 2010 shows the amazing defection of ministers from the church.

Even more of those faces uncovered above are also now gone.

Apparently, this is the kind of  "growth" members need to be proud of.

When your own leaders walk away it should be an indicator that something's wrong in Wadsworth.

All things common = GREED!

WHAT ABOUT THE TRUTH said...

Dave's toast to 22 years of ....... looks a lot like something of the past.

The Nazi salute, Hitler salute, or Sieg Heil salute, is a gesture that was used as a greeting in Nazi Germany. The salute is performed by extending the right arm from the neck into the air with a straightened hand. Usually, the person offering the salute would say "Heil Hitler!", "Heil, mein FĂĽhrer!", or "Sieg Heil!". (Wikipedia)

Dave has been successful in the growth of his members. I would say 50% of his membership has grown in one mind with him and believe, live, and breathe; hail, my leader.

The other 50% have grown to the point where they believe, live, and breathe; to hell with my former leader.

At least four more faces should be whited out. Ryan and Jess (Denee)Caswell. And Brian and Dee Dee Jackson.

It is sobering, that Pack and Flurry have both made numerous prophecies and predictions that have failed & destroyed so many families and caused suicides, yet they double down in their arrogance. They cause people to lose faith but they show no remorse. It is true they cross heaven & earth to make a convert and the convert is worse off than they were prior to their conversion.

Wondering if toasts have pagan roots.........

There are 7 more faces in that photo that can be removed...

Almost 70% of the group in the 2010 picture have left. Interestingly enough, the closer you were seated in the picture to PACK , the higher the attrition rate!

The rate of loss of ministry for Pack is in the neighborhood of 10% per year. I cant imagine how low they have to scrape to find "yes men" to replace those leaving in so called "leadership positions" , and just how kooky those replacements must be. Truly, the membership and ministry that remain must be totally off of their rockers at this stage of the game.

The Pack group will surely disintegrate quickly after the death of their dictator, this is a sure fact.

2:15am - The closer you are to Dave, the more you see him as he really is. Those who were VERY close to him and have left have some tales to tell.

"What's with the empty front row ?"

That alone is telling about Dave. Regular members are not to associate with him other than a perfunctory greeting. God forbid if anyone shared a concern with the pompous ass! His handlers quickly shoo people away.

Anon 215 asked What's with the empty front row ?

Back in the 1970s, a member picked up an old Envoy and looked at the photo of all the top ministers, seated as in Dave's photo. He noticed a pattern formed by the ministers who had left since the photo was published. I think the pattern was a ring from the front left, clockwise to the front right - the "fringe" group...

Dave learnt bait and switch from HWA. There was no mention of Herbs church being run as a cult to the public.

Ha! Agree. Reminds me of when Herbert Armstrong visited my local area and my friend as a baptised newbie got caught up in the moment and innocently sat on the front row.
He soon learned during the service Herbert was furious at him and kept glaring at him. If looks could kill.

Dave has learned the art of moving the goal posts all over the field and assuring everyone they have not moved. The poor boy simply can't bring himself to utter the words, "I was mistaken". But in time, he will have to. Then, of course, it will be obvious and "WE" never understood that God is giving us more time.

"I was mistaken" assumes a person values truth. That's not our Dave Pack.

Jacksons? Are you sure?

"Since the corporation was instituted" interesting choice of words. Kind of says it all doesn't it?
