Dave Pack: Why He Cannot Be Right On The Return Of Jesus

I'm not sure if this is three or four years IN A ROW that Christ/The Father are supposed to come during the Feast/Last Great Day. As a former member and employee at Headquarters, I remember feeling so bad for the brethren who had to sit and listen to the endless sermons during the Feast. I felt even worse for those who were truly EXCITED that "this was finally it" and Christ was coming inside hours. The days preached about will often move during each message the Feast. Tonight. No, tomorrow. No, the Last Great Day. No, just after the Feast.

In 2020, Mr. Pack told brethren on the first day that they were not going home. I sat at the back of the room and mused to myself (but lacked the courage to actually say it to his face), "If you're not coming back from the Feast, Mr. Pack...may I please have the keys to your house and your security code since you won't need it anymore?" It was a private thought. I know I would have been walked to the door instantly. I wasn’t ready to leave. Yet.

I left RCG in March of this year and I have watched from afar (and heard from brethren still attending) that the roller coaster I got off of is still rolling around in an endless circle. It won’t stop. Only God can stop this machine that must keep going.

To those who are reading this and say, “They deserve it” – I would ask, “Where is your compassion?” There are a lot of really wonderful, kind, intelligent, and just plain ‘good’ people in RCG. They were sold a bill of goods by a man who has drifted from the truth he once proclaimed to uphold.

The greatest critic of David C. Pack on the face of the earth…is David C. Pack. Just go back and re-read some of the literature from years ago with his name on it and you would clearly see he convicts himself. That’s why brethren today cannot find that literature on the website or in print. The man has already accused himself.

The brethren are not stupid. The ministers are not stupid. The ministers are not wicked. They know something is wrong…the Bible tells them it’s wrong. “But where else am I supposed to go?” These poor people don’t know what to do but sit tight and wait it out.

When you are fully convicted that you are in the right place, following the right people…and things drift off course and you begin to realize, “maybe this isn’t the place” – that is a hard, hard thing to see. (I’m still struggling with it.) I invested so much in RCG for the almost 9 years I was there…that is a difficult thing to say, “Wow, I was wrong. And I don’t know what to do now.” The basis of all your beliefs are shaken to the ground.

To any harsh critics out there: Let me know what fundamental belief you held in your life for years and then realized it was wrong and were able to just shrug it off as no big deal…and say to yourself, "I should have known better."

But for those still in RCG...don't worry. After the Feast, there will be some silence by Mr. Pack while he confers with his inner circle for a while...then will have an exciting message to let you know, "everything is still right on track" and "nothing has changed." – The two most insulting phrases the man can utter…and he does after every failure…which means he has much opportunity to say those words.

But what do I know? After all, I’m just an antichrist.

M. Cebrian

PS – Jesus Christ will not be returning tomorrow. Why not?

Because it is impossible for David C. Pack to be right.

Restored Church of God: It Won't Be Long Now: "Our Watch Continues"

Keeping track of where the first sighting of JC will be

Prophetic Update - Our watch continues!

While it is a discussion beyond the scope of a short update, bear in mind the Sabbath has not ended in the far west. The math and science do not break! In fact, many principles and verses show we must reach the far end of the Sabbath as it exists worldwide—all the way through the time zones of the western islands of the Pacific.

More than a dozen Headquarters ministers who just met discussed this again thoroughly and none can see a way out of tonight. Believe us when we say that we have tried! If there is more to see, God will certainly reveal it. Any details would be passed along in the coming days.

Again, keep watching. Our wait cannot be long!"

Davey Pack Is Back And He Is Ready To Deliver His Most Important Sermon In 50 Years!

Davey is back after disappearing for a while in embarrassment that his Christ has not returned to Wadsworth. Not to disappoint any of us, Davey says his sermon on Saturday will be the most important sermon he has ever delivered in 50 years! Will JC finally be returning to Wadsworth?

A comment on another thread about his absence:

When has Davie ever gone this long without giving a message? He has egg on his face for constant looney failed prophecies (but genius too because if you wait long enough after the worst failure, the simple and foolish will forget). That or he is too scared to come out of his glided home to attend services for fear of COVID. Talk is cheap. If there is a sniffle in the congregation he is one of the first to avoid contact and stay away. A man who claims to speak with authority from God has to sneak in amd out through a back door and sit with only vetted, approved people. Give me a break!

Upcoming Sermon
In last week’s Brethren/Co-Worker letter we saw that every condition prophesied to precede Christ’s return exists right now. These 25 conditions (and even more could be included) powerfully illustrate that the world is now ripe for God’s kingdom to be established.
With this in mind, please note that Mr. Pack plans to deliver a sermon here at Headquarters tomorrow. With the passing of time, he learned exciting details about God’s overall plan and events soon to unfold. Mr. Pack is looking forward to sharing this understanding with the Church.
This message will be made available for download soon after it has been delivered.
Brethren, for many reasons this is the most important sermon Mr. Pack will deliver in his 50 years of preaching. Once you have listened to it you will know why.
You want to be ready, prepared to receive and listen to the message as soon as possible!

RCG: Children of the Corn

First of all let me say I tried.  I really tried.  After 1 hour and fifty eight minutes I concluded that if there is a God who is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to the knowledge of the truth and if he is using Dave Pack to clearly explain his plan, then that God is a nutcase and incapable of communicating.

I won't pretend to be able to repeat Dave's ever changing understanding. It gave me a headache. I imagine if you asked the average RCG member to explain what the hell Dave just said, they would be unable to do so. Not sure his ministry would fare much better.  They also would know they believe it no matter.

First of all, Dave is putting a lot of eggs into this one basket of this feast. Christ may come at the end of this feast, which would be today I believe. If not, then "we have another year" because Dave has concluded it has to be one way now and not the other he used to think.  I suspect shortly Dave will conclude "God is giving us more time" and "We" never saw this when I first came to understand this but now, "I" do.   Dave always blames the group for what they didn't understand but takes the credit for what he comes to understand and explain.

Dave reminds the congregation that these are "fascinating things, no one ever understood".  Dave says this a lot and has through the years of not understanding it himself. "I doubt you have ever heard anything along that line" is another favorite.

With Dave, it's always spectacular and never before understood until he utters it.  It is also more to backtrack on somewhere down the road because "we", not "he" didn't see something clearly but now of course, "I do".   In this sermon, Dave notes that "I only recently began to put this together."

Got news for you Dave. Wandering all over the Old Testament and jumping around in the New is not "putting this all together."  It was a grand exercise in making the prophets mean what they never meant as well as the Gospels, the Epistles and the Church letters.  And let's not forget making the failed prophecy of the Book of Revelation mean what it never meant.  He's great at that! Actually without the Book of Revelation, the Churches of God would have no hook with which to catch their fish.

One of the first things he comes up with is that there is a precedence in the Old Testament for keeping the Feast an extra seven days and there is.  My first thought is that he is going to declare this a double feast if his Jesus does not come on the last day of this normal single eight day cycle. We'll see.

" "They kept a double feast...there is a precedence in a time of great joy....let's just double this up".

I can almost feel the audience squirming.

"But if you want to go to, under certain circumstances.......God can want that."  (speaking of longer feast)

Honestly, the rest of this dirge is theological bullshit.  He spends most of the sermon on never before understood that the House that God is building is not literal and is not just the church.  It includes everyone on Earth. (If I understood it and I'm not sure I had the patience to try).

Then he shows how "The Man of Sin" operates in "HIS Season" which implies that there is a group just before this that are not a part of "His Season" but  their own season, which of course is the Feast Season and specifically, maybe this one.  If the Man of Sin had a season then there had to be one before "His" and that would be "Ours".  All very stupid and mental gymnastics worthy only of the mentally ill.  I have sat in mental hospitals with people wanting to tell me all about the Bible and what they have seen that no one else does.  This is Dave in spades.

Dave notes as well that "this should be real clear".  Clear as mud, as they say.

Dave at one points notes that he is going to "inoculate you" but I would say it is more of an indoctrination than an inoculation.  A virus does not inoculate you from itself.  It can infect, infest and overwhelm you, however. Then you get sick.

Then to wrap it up (this is day four of the FOT), he weaves the fallen away ministers into the mix. Evil bastards all. He wonders if the three he lost at the beginning of the Feast Days this year aren't , in some way, a type of the Three Shepherds that will ....oh I forget what they do or do, but it is all something to "think about brethren."

Years ago someone told me that Dave pack was incredibly intelligent. I replied that he is not if you listen to what he believes, but rather that he seems clever.  But alas, Dave is not even clever. He is God-Haunted, delusional and piously convicted but short on an actual and real theological education. Dave is master at making the Bible mean what it never meant, never could mean and won't ever mean.

RCG is doomed to both implode and explode.  His campus will eventually be sold to either an addiction and crisis center or be plowed back under and returned to growing corn, which if you look at this kind of theology is not far from corn to begin with.
