God #1 and God #2 debate over who will be the father and who will be the son

Could you please explain from which scripture you derive the doctrine that at some point the two members of the Elohim family decided that one of them would become the Father and the other the Son. This belief implies that the one who became the Son gave up his equality and authority to the one who became the Father! I find this concept as confusing and illogical as the concept that God is a Trinity. And we know that ur eternal God is not a god of confusion!

It is obvious that they had to be in agreement for the plan to succeed and that a decision had to be made as to which one would give up his Godhood to be made flesh and die for sin; and as to which one would be trusted to raise the other up. The decision placed one as dependent on the other.
Jesus said very clearly that he was subject to the Father: John 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son. . . Now if a person have a son then he is a father; and the God Being who became the Father was the one who placed the other Being in the womb of Mary as must have been predetermined: since otherwise who would fulfill each role?
I suggest that you study the word “father” in the New Testament to see the relationship between Jesus Christ and the Father, is one as of father and son. James

Not even the craziest thing he said in that post. He also wrote: "We are to worship and obey BOTH the Father and Christ when Christ is a spirit member of the God family [the Father was to be worshiped exclusively during the time that Christ gave up his Godhood to become flesh]. After his resurrection, Jesus having had his Godhood restored, allowed himself to be worshiped."
It is obvious that his ghost writer Constance no longer writes for him. He has gone off the deep end after she left him. At least she stuck to traditional Armstrong teachings while Malm invents things as he goes along
This is so typically Armstrongian. In trying to demonstrate that they have ultimate truth, and know everything about everything, they show that they actually make things up to cover the unknowable, and are unreliable as spiritual guides. It never occurs to any of them that there are intended to be areas of mystery. I believe that ACOG people will be experiencing a whole lot of surprises at the ressurrection.

Back several weeks ago, I ran into a webpage concerning Ambassador College that had list of deceased Ambassador College graduates and faculty members. This appeared to be an alumni site. Purple trim, I think. It was one of the most extensive lists I have seen. Now I can't find it.

Yes, it's crazy. Yes, it's arrogant. It's ridiculous and presumptuous. However, ministers within Armstrongism have done this "reasoning" for generations.
Armstrong's book "The Wonderful World Tomorrow....What it Will Be Like" was full of speculation and imagination - just like Malm is attempting to do here. Armstrongism is a religion of high imagination and physical suppositions - based on ridiculous interpretations of biblical (non) context.
I've said this before, and I'll say this again. All Malm is is one of those guys in the back of the hall who thought he knew it all with four other know-it alls, talking about obscure scripture and strange interpretations. The only thing that happened now? This guy got himself a computer, and a handful of "apologists".

So god is a single non-corporeal spirit...but there are three persons...in one spirit...but one part of that one spirit is the distinct and separate Holy Spirit, which is god but not the same thing as "God"...and 1/3 of that one non-corporeal spirit (Jesus) needs a body but not a physical body...???
I am convinced that the gobbledegook a.k.a. the "Trinity," a.k.a. "Polytheism" only works BECAUSE it is so confusing - the more convoluted the explanation is the harder it is to prove the obvious, it is nonsensical confusion that makes the ordinary guy in the pew have to pretend to believe it for fear of appearing dumb.
It is hilarious that mere humans even try to ponder "the nature of God", when they don't even have a handle on the "nature of man".
COG culture has always been one that has to have an answer for everything. Some things are just not in our purvey, or are currently unknowable. It is ok to say "I don't know".

The solution to the poly god controversy is based on a faulty book that is not the word of God. Go ask the Catholics who put together this cluster fuck known as the bible, as to how they put this mess together. Books from different errors are suppose to agree with each other is madness.

I've found some of Malms articles on OT technical matters helpful. He's also right in his criticism of members worshipping their ministers or corporate church rather than God. No ACOG would ever say that.
I believe I heard the same drivel from a WCG pastor in the late 80s. I dont think he realized that theories like this have been around since the early days of the Christian religion. He seemed to think he was treading new ground with it.
You really can’t trust any of the ministers from the Laodicean era. It’s safer to take personal responsibility and to study and pray on your own
