The Most Spoken About Entity In Armstrongism

The Philadelphia Church of God recently finished celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles, a period of time that they claim portrays the millennium and eternal peace and happiness. Then, just like a typical COG immediately after the Feast, they start harping about Satan, politics, and other useless topics that constantly occupy their minds.

Satan even rears his ugly head the day after Passover when COG followers believe all their sins from the previous year have been wiped clean. They now have a clean slate for another year of grievous sins as Satan starts filling up their scorecards.

Satan, particularly in the COG, is the entity that is mentioned the most in sermons, articles, and broadcasts. Satan is the powerful god of this world and apparently in the eyes of many COG leaders and ministers, He is far more powerful than that seldom-mentioned dude, Jesus Christ. Mention Satan and church leaders and ministers' eyes light up because they have a lot to say about the guy. Mention Jesus and they immediately shut down not knowing what really to say.

Biblical Archaeology Society has this interesting history of Satan in Judaism and Christianity.

In the Hebrew Bible, YHWH’s greatest enemies are not fallen angels commanding armies of demons, nor even the gods of other nations, but, rather, human beings. It isn’t the devil that spreads evil across the face of creation—it is mankind. Other than human beings, YHWH has no nemesis, nor are there malevolent spiritual forces not under his authority. YHWH is ultimately a god of justice. He is behind the good and the bad, behind the blessings and the curses. It is within this divine court of justice and retribution that Satan has his origins.

The Hebrew word śāṭān, meaning “accuser” or “adversary,” occurs several times throughout the Hebrew Bible and refers to enemies both human and celestial alike. When referring to the celestial adversary, the word is typically accompanied by the definite article. He is ha-satan—the Accuser—and it is a job description rather than a proper name. From the Accuser’s appearances in the Books of Job and Zechariah, it seems that the job entails calling attention to the unworthiness of mankind. The Accuser is essentially the prosecuting attorney of the divine court of YHWH, and part of his job includes collecting evidence to prove his cases. With this bit of knowledge in mind, it isn’t difficult to envision the various “outcries against sin,” such as that against Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 18:20–21), as the voice of the Accuser.

It is difficult to determine at which point in Israel’s history the Accuser began to take on a much more sinister role in the Israelite/Jewish belief structure, or how heaven’s great prosecutor became the prince of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). It is certainly easy to make the connection between Israel’s time in exile and the likely influence of the cosmic dualism of Persian religion.1 However, even within books written well after the return from foreign lands, the Accuser is still a self-righteous lawyer. Though if 1 Chronicles 21:1 is any indication,2 they began to believe the Accuser wasn’t above getting his hands dirty.

It is perfectly clear, however, that by the first century C.E., Judaism developed a belief in the divine forces of darkness doing battle against the forces of light. This can be seen within the New Testament and other extra-Biblical writings such as those found among the Dead Sea Scrolls. There are likely several factors that inspired these developments, including the influence of Persian, as well as Hellenistic, religions.

If there was an army of evil spiritual forces making war on the righteous, they had to have a commander. It is at this time that the impersonal and lofty Accuser began to acquire the various names and titles that have filled the writings of western civilization for 2,000 years. The Greek word diabolos (from which “devil” is derived), meaning “slanderer,” comes from a verb that means “to hurl” (i.e., accusations).

Diabolos was typically used as the Greek equivalent for the Hebrew śāṭān (in the Septuagint version of Job, for example), though it was not uncommon to simply transliterate the word into the Greek satanas (1 Kings 11:14). Other names used for the leader of the forces of evil at this time include Maśṭēmāh, which means “hatred” (1QM 13:4, 11; Jubilees 10:8), and Belial, a popular name among the writers of the Dead Sea Scrolls, which means “worthless” or “corrupt.” “Children of Belial” (Hebrew: bene-belial) was a typical phrase used to describe evil people in the Hebrew Bible (e.g., Deuteronomy 13:13; 1 Samuel 1:16; 2 Chronicles 13:7, etc.). If someone were searching for a name that personified evil in the Hebrew Bible, it would be Belial, not Satan. Interesting enough, the name only occurs once in the New Testament (2 Corinthians 6:15), as Paul’s stark contrast to Christ.
It is also in this period that we begin to see the development of the tradition of equating the talking serpent in the Garden of Eden with Satan (Life of Adam and Eve xi–xvii).

Etruscan fresco of Typhon from the Tomba del Tifone in Tarquinia, Italy, c. third century B.C.E. According to Greek mythology, the montrous Titan Typhon battled the mighty Zeus, who bound his foe in the dark depths of Tartarus to bring about a new era of peace.

Satan’s role in the New Testament, though highly expanded, has much more in common with the Accuser of the Hebrew Bible than the commander of the armies of darkness that is typically portrayed in the Dead Sea Scrolls. Even though he is given such lofty titles as “the ruler of this world” (John 12:31), “father of lies” (John 8:44), “god of this world” (2 Corinthians 4:4), “ruler of the power of the air” (Ephesians 2:2), and Beelzebul, “ruler of the demons” (Matthew 10:25; Mark 3:22; Luke 11:15), Satan is essentially treated as nothing more than a glorified prison warden who has been corrupted by his own power. Throughout the Gospels, Satan’s “kingdom” is never considered to be a burning underworld full of the tormented dead, but, rather, is equated with the bondage of sin and the curses brought upon humanity for acts of unrighteousness. According to Jesus (Matthew 12:29; Mark 3:27; Luke 11:21–22), a “strong man” (Satan) must be bound in order to plunder his house for treasures (humans), and it is clear he viewed his ministry and that of his disciples within this context. All other references to Satan in the New Testament, including those in Revelation, reflect this struggle for spiritual freedom.

Over the course of several centuries of influence from many different cultures, the defeated Accuser of the Christians would go on to appropriate aspects of various divine enemies (Typhon, Hades, Ahriman, Hela, to name but a few) to become the complex mythological monster that was thrown out of heaven at the beginning of time to rule the fiery underworld and torment the souls of the damned. Such a character makes for great movies and Halloween costumes, but would have been virtually unknown to anyone in Biblical times.

The Church of God movement has created its own unique understanding of Satan and the power he has over people. Far too many believe that power is unparalleled. In their eyes, Satan is equal in power to God.

Yet Christians who understand what Jesus accomplished do not live in a constant state of fear.

“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers [satanic power included], nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38–89

“He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4)

Dave Pack and the members of The Restored Church of God will anoint God the Father when they receive salvation

David C. Pack’s Crown Jewel

During “The Greatest Unending Story! (Part 447)” on June 6, 2023, Pastor General David C. Pack of The Restored Church of God re-announced he was Elijah the Prophet and uttered another death curse upon himself. But, what he spent the majority of time on was far worse.

I understand the struggles of the brethren who remain in The Restored Church of God because I lived through it until March 2021. If David C. Pack had ONLY been setting dates that failed, I might have been able to stomach his foolish arrogance longer.

When David C. Pack declared that he was Elijah and then Elijah was That Prophet in 2015, I knew my days were numbered. My great hope was that this wicked doctrinal corruption would “work itself out” and be undone. I gave The Restored Church of God six more years of my life, praying that God would set things back on track.

Instead, everything only grew worse. David C. Pack continued to corrupt Who we worshipped and served. He perverted the roles of Jesus Christ and God the Father with the Headquarters ministry approving, then supporting. Well, the ones who chose to remain. Timothy Willard and his wife were the last to leave in the spring of 2022.

I will forever credit Chief Suck-Up Edward L. Winkfield (aka Stepford Prime) as being the straw that broke the camel’s back for me. Nobody can slurp up Dave’s doctrinal feces and re-vomit it on the brethren like Ed can. He is happy to do it and has zero issues with the taste.

Shame on you, Ed. May God have mercy on you.

The “new truth” given to The Restored Church of God on June 6 is the Crown Jewel of David C. Pack’s Gallery of Stupid. I typically have a little fun regarding this concept since faux-mistranslations are the usual entries under this banner.

Past inductees have included:

•  Jesus Christ was conceived around Elul 1 and was born in spring.

•  “Seven times of punishment” in Leviticus means seven weeks.

•  The Chinese launched an artificial sun into the atmosphere.

•  All humans will be sterile in fifty years.

•  The countdown to Pentecost was a type of countdown to Trumpets.

•  In Acts 7, Stephen was killed for criticizing the Jewish Christmas tree.

•  No one ever looked up the word “sackcloth” in Revelation.

•  Everyone on earth will only speak ten languages.

•  The Book of Revelation was 600 years old when Jesus Christ came in the flesh.

•  More people are married in June than in the other months combined.

During Part 447, David C. Pack teaches that he and the members of The Restored Church of God will anoint the Father after they receive salvation. That is not a silly topic, but it deserves to be the Crown Jewel because Dave worked on that idea for FIVE YEARS, and it can be easily disproven with eSword in less than two minutes.

Dave was so excited to end the Series with the most mind-blowing, cataclysmic understanding to ever rock any Church of God. Grandpa Dave would finally be the envy of Herbert W. Armstrong in the resurrection. If Non-Apostle Herbie got wind of this today, he would not just turn in his grave. He would have a seizure.

Part 447 – June 6, 2023

@ 08:58 …I’m gonna give you the greatest single truth I’ve ever discovered. And you've heard not one word about it. You think that can't –"Mr. Pack, we're at over 800 hours. We're seven-and-a-half years." You've heard not one word of it, and I’ve been working on it in the background for close to five years.

I already spoiled the punchline, but enjoy the journey by having the forethought. Dave taps his toes the entire message teasing the audience so he can have his extra-special big reveal. He is the only human being who ever lived to discover such a discovery of exciting excitement.

@ 09:19 I never brought up a word of it to my wife.

Perhaps his subconscious was trying to preserve their marriage. Poor Mrs. Pack. I cannot wait to hear her story over coffee and donuts after she leaves.

@ 09:22 Nor did I bring it up to my staff. But I resolved it right on time. It's a powerful metric to me that we are right on time.

Ha ha ha ha ha. All of David C. Pack’s powerful metrics fail over time. Sometimes he kills them the next day. Every metric the man has ever uttered his entire ministerial career has all evaporated and is worth the stones they were engraved on.

@ 47:17 But, I’ll just say, again, you’ve not heard one word of what I’m gonna tell ya today, and this may be the single greatest, the single greatest truth in the entire Word of God. And I can pretty much tell ya, God Himself almost says it in those words and, actually, multiple ways.

@ 49:30 …what I’m gonna tell ya now is unbelievably powerful. It’s the most exciting thing, I think, I’ve ever taught.

Poor Dave. He really had high hopes for this revelation. Keep in mind he has been building this up for forty minutes. Allow me to steal his thunder once more: Dave and the members of The Restored Church of God will anoint God the Father when they receive salvation.

That would be pretty amazing if it were true. It is not.

Daniel 9:24 contains the brain baby gestating inside Dave’s skull for five years. No wonder there is no room left for truthfulness and basic empathy for anyone else.

@ 1:02:58 Now, this is, in some ways, the pinnacle. “To anoint the most holy.” What’s this? More correctly, who’s this?

@ 1:04:03 Now, it can’t be Christ. It can’t be Christ.

David C. Pack is a deceiver and not a good one. He reads a string of verses about “the Most High.” The Most High is God. “Most high” is a translation of Strong’s Hebrew “elyon” H5945.

That is NOT what is written in Daniel 9:24. “Most Holy” is Strong’s H6944 H6944. He tricked the brethren by reading verses about "the Most High" and then switched to "the most holy" as if they were synonymous. They are not. They are very different words with very different applications.

Daniel 9:24

…and to seal up  the vision  and prophecy,  and to anoint  the most Holy.  (H6944) (H6944)

@ 1:20:03 …’cause we gotta get all the way to the point where, somehow, Mr. Pack's about to explain the Most Holy, the Father is, actually, also anointed. How is that?

That statement is utterly false.

Using eSword, anyone can disprove Dave's "single greatest truth” in under two minutes. The King James has Strong’s H6944 H6944 (“qodesh” doubled in Hebrew) rendered as "most holy." God is NEVER called "the most holy" in the Bible. But, many other things are.

Simply put, God is the Most High. Certain THINGS are most holy.

Exodus 26:33-34

and the veil shall divide unto you between the holy (H6944) place and the most holy. (H6944) (H6944) And thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy (H6944) (H6944)  place.

This describes the Tabernacle of Moses and the separation between the Temple tent (holy) and the inner sanctuary (most holy), where only the High Priest could enter on the Day of Atonement. Verse 34 reiterates WHERE the mercy seat upon the ark rests: IN the most holy.

The word “place” is italicized. “Most holy” is not referring to God. It refers to a location. But Dave cannot see that because God is not guiding him.

The other verses are apparent. God is the Most High. Certain things are most holy.

Yet, Dave chose to withhold this from his most-trusted advisor (Mrs. Pack) and his crack team of researchers (Coffee Kid and Pepper Boy) because he wanted to blurt this out on his own to attain all the glory that comes with it.

Deep down, he knew there were serious flaws but did not want to hear about them. Jim and Andy are competent enough to find what I found, and they would have been compelled to come to the same conclusions. This concept is total bunk.

Exodus 30:28-29

And the altar of burnt offering with all his vessels, and the laver and his foot. And thou shalt sanctify them, that they may be most holy: whatsoever touches them shall be holy.

Exodus 40:10 “an altar most holy.

Leviticus 2:3 “a thing most holy of the offerings”

Leviticus 6:17 “offerings made by fire; it is most holy

What other THINGS are most holy? The burnt offering. The trespass offering. The meat offering. The bread of God. Devoted things. Temple instruments in the sanctuary. The Holy Place where the ark rests.

Daniel 9:24 refers to anointing a most holy place or thing.

The most holy is NOT God the Father. He is the Most High.

David C. Pack is not just incompetent. He is dangerously incompetent. He is blasphemously incompetent.

Once you understand what he is doing and how he is doing it, you can listen to his eleven minutes of “proof verses” and see the holes are larger than in Swiss cheese. He does a quick-change switcheroo between “Most High” and “most holy” to make them equate.

No other verses in the Bible support Dave’s woefully ignorant interpretation, so he had to intentionally distort what Exodus 26:33 records. Dave blows eleven minutes of foundational smoke to cloud the minds of the brethren of The Restored Church of God so he can go on for another forty-three minutes about it.

Maybe the few who have not thoroughly checked out will prove the matter on their own, but that is not likely. It is an opium den of sleepyheads over there. If they stay after the “our young people will be eaten alive by lions,” then nothing will shake them loose.

They have earned what they cleave to.

Once Dave has the ignorance ball in his hands, he runs with it, and nobody can take it away from him except for Better Future Dave. He creates an association the Bible does not support. The members of The Restored Church of God are to take his word for it. And they seemingly do.

@ 1:23:46 …the Father. The Most High. The Most Holy. Brings Him forth to the world a year after the Kingdom of God because Christ is working and knocking down enemies through this extraordinary year. I told you we never talked about any of this. None of it. Never mind how God the Father could be anointed.

This is a repeat of “he rushes to call it out” and “Elijah That Prophet” on demonic steroids. If he does not undo this concept during the Conference, this association will live into the vanishing point. He will falsely see the Father all over the Bible as “the most holy” and change the meaning of dozens of verses.

The implications for future teachings are yet unknown. Knowing Dave, he will "discover" a host of "electrifying facts" that will “pop clear” and “crack the Bible wide open.” Watch out.

@ 1:49:42 All with eternal life will, literally, anoint God. All will attest to His eternal lead at the end of this year. There’s nowhere it says that Christ does it. We’re all brothers. We’d all do it.

@ 1:52:50 So, if God says, “I want to be anointed by all my children at the end of this year, absolute reconciliation,” that’s exactly what will happen. And no one has ever understood this. You’re the first people, whoever’s listening in, to understand it.

@ 1:53:46 This is the same Being who picked us and the saints from the foundation of the world and picked RCG to go first…the ultimate high honor given to us by the ultimate Most High God.

David C. Pack is once again exposed as a verbal sorcerer. According to the Bible, the Most High is not the same as the most holy. But, because The Restored Church of God trusts the words of a man over the Word of God to create doctrines, this is what you get.

The Restored Church of Another god worships David C. Pack, not the True God.

Trying to make sense of all Dave says is like trying to solve a Rubik’s Cube with one tile missing. All he has to do is misunderstand a single verse, and he builds a gargantuan doctrine out of it. Since there are no Checks-And-Balances in The Restored Church of God and no human being on the face of the earth can correct David Crowl Pack, this is the type of stupid, wicked, reckless nonsense you get from him.

This is what the mind of unbridled vanity looks like. The brethren who choose to stay will reap what they sow. Get out while you still can, folks.

Shame on all the field “ministers” and their wives who flocked to Headquarters for the Ministerial Conference this week after Dave re-proclaims himself to be Elijah the Prophet. Shame on the lot of you for sticking through his perversity.

David C. Pack is a biblical fraud and blaspheming liar. Trusting his words is an act of foolishness and everyone who does disgraces themselves. Those are facts of history. I do not make that happen. I just report it.

It is hard to imagine what could supplant the Crown Jewel of David C. Pack’s Gallery of Stupid. Perhaps that should be rebranded as David C. Pack’s Gallery of Evil.

Elijah That Prophet, an apostle, Joshua the High Priest, the Good and Faithful Servant, the Wise Steward, the Faithful Priest, the One in White Linen, a type of John the Baptist, a type of Ezekiel measuring the Temple, the Seventh Angel, and King David Passover—He worked on this for five years.

An antichrist serpent more wicked (almost) than the devil disproved it in under two minutes.

Something is wrong with this picture.

Consider your ways, people of The Restored Church of God. Do not stop up your eyes and ears to what your human idol presents to you. Do not look to your compromised hirelings for guidance because they are in worse shape than you are.

David C. Pack is not teaching from the mind of God but from the mind of madness. You know this. Act on it before it is too late.

Dave Pack Continues To Over Sell His Importance

Mal-Nourished

David C. Pack is becoming increasingly difficult to understand. “The Greatest Unending Story! (Part 418)” on February 9 is another message you never want to hear twice.

Even after the last two articles were posted, I again listened to the first seven minutes because I wondered if I had heard him correctly. The wicked shall not understand. Am I just a wicked man who is not allowed to understand God's blessed knowledge?

Dave speaks like he has a handle on the situation. But, what he says and how he says it has the ideas of many conflicting voices. The molestation of words to hide biblical fraud and excuse prophetic error sounds like it came from Legion.

Habakkuk 2:2, “that he may TAKE HIS TIME that reads it.”

2 Timothy 2:15, “…need not to be ashamed, DIVIDE BUT GO SLOWER the word of truth.”

Maybe it is a good thing I cannot see it the way Dave teaches it. If anything, the man keeps me on my toes, considering my ways and striving to be extra careful with sharp observations.

We all must stand before the judgment seat of Christ. My words will justify or condemn me as much as Dave's. Our scales shall be measured equally.

If a pure language existed now, David C. Pack would never be able to pervert words like he does. Not only does he toy with Hebrew and Greek, squinting and turning sideways to make it say what he wants, but he mangles English without shame.

He stretches definitions, interweaving the actual meaning with his own assertions to give the illusion his point is correct. Language is saltwater taffy that David C. Pack pulls and twists to his own will. Much like the biblical math consisting of fickle numbers, words can be presented in any manipulative fashion necessary for a minister of righteousness to reveal his character.

David C. Pack is confusing because he is confused. He is deceiving because he is deceived. God is not guiding him, and history testifies to that.

The brethren of The Restored Church of God accept living in a perpetual state of starvation. They have grown accustomed to being spiritually malnourished. It is a sad thing to witness.

Breaking past the seven-minute barrier of Part 418, Dave accosted a third word so a new flimsy timeline could be manufactured.

Revelation 12:14, “…where she is NOURISHED for a time, and times, and a half a time…”

Before he could just get to it, he had to prove how qualified he was to proclaim such things. After all, everyone should take notice that David C. Pack doodies in the toilet, not in his pants.

@ 09:32 Now, let’s talk for a moment about the Book of Revelation. I wanna illustrate a point. I can virtually do this without turning through the book. So let me just do it. I can see the whole book in my mind without opening the Bible. I can virtually. Virtually the entire book.

And that is one of his major problems. The virtual version in his mind is different than the actual version everyone else has. Nobody adds to and takes away from the words of the prophecy of this book more than David C. Pack.

If he accepted the printed words by reading slowly and carefully, The Restored Church of God would not be in the current circumstance of chaos and confusion that rules the day.

For those interested in a three-minute synopsis of how David C. Pack understands Revelation, this clip is for you. Warning: Only Bible scholars and prophecy enthusiasts should partake.

@ 14:44 …and it’s an interesting example of another powerful word I so wish I had explored. It would have changed a lot.

So much for God's word being purified seven times. What a waste that was if it only applied to the original Hebrew and Greek. Too bad it all fell apart by the time it got to English.

Much like a relay race where the first three laps are perfect, but the last one blows it. If you cannot get to the finish line, then all the effort before it was wasted.

@ 14:52 And what I'm gonna do now is show you a side of our God none of us have ever understood. Ever understood. One of the greatest mysteries that the Bible contains, I'm gonna explain to you now, and you've never heard one word about it. And its own statement (yet again) of how the Series could hardly been over until this was explained.

He is really over-selling the importance of this “discovery” of his. Some will yawn when they hear it. I did.

I do not know what god Dave serves, but I already knew about this side of the True God. This word does not unlock any mysteries. The Series could have been over with Part 4, and everyone in RCG would have been much better off. This includes Dave.

@ 21:35 And here’s where a tremendous mistranslation lost one of the wonderful things about God. And this is gonna develop into something very powerful before we’re done.

It is not a mistranslation. Nothing about God was lost. Nothing powerful develops. Every part of this is false. It matters to Dave and Dave alone. He conjured these notions in the first place, so his ideas are what changed.

His whole build-up is that the "three and a half days" of Daniel 12:7 are not the same as in Revelation 12:14. If only that short period would stop moving around in the Bible, Dave could crack the DaVinci Code and go on vacation.

@ 21:47 One word changes all. The word "nourished." "And they were nourished for three and a half days." Now, here's what that means. It means they were "cherished." The word means "to pamper." They were pampered. “To fatten.” It also can mean "rear them."

See? Yawn.

Maybe because my wicked heart has been darkened, “nourished” and “cherished” do not seem too far off from each other. If you cherish a child, you nourish, feed, pamper, and raise them. Just like the verse says.

Interestingly, G5142 is not translated as “cherish” in the New Testament. It occurs eight times and four of which as “feed.” “Nourish” is three times.

This is no mistranslation. It is a David C. Pack fabrication. Or maybe it exposes bald stupidity.

This revelation in Revelation does NOT change our perception of God. This hid nothing. This changed nothing in the understanding of Revelation 12:14. But Dave goes on and on and on about how much it does. He shouts and points his way through illusion and vapor.

So, this word exposes his delusion rather than deception. But at this point, what is the difference?

People of The Restored Church of God, are you paying attention to your Pastor General? Do you hear what he is saying? How is any of this coming from God?

Daniel 7 and Revelation 12 describe two different "three and a half day" periods.

@ 22:43 That is utterly incompatible with three and a half days where God’s people are being shattered and destroyed and blown apart. It could never have been the same three and a half days. See why I wish I’d have looked up that word?

How about just reading the English, Dave? Maybe the virtual Book of Revelation in your head is not as trustworthy as the one on paper. Only a biblical nincompoop could read that verse and not understand what “nourish” means.

David C. Pack’s astonishing piss-poor reading comprehension skills are now legendary.

@ 22:59 But where it led me after this is what’s extraordinary.

For the next 69 minutes, Dave runs all over the place with this and that because a new piece of the puzzle was discovered. The end result is the same: error upon error upon error upon error. Yet, somehow this process will reach the status of truth in the end.

Is it possible to reach a truth based on lies? Like in algebra, where two negatives are multiplied to make a positive. Dave attacks the Bible the same way.

It is almost as if he spends the next 69 minutes convincing himself rather than the audience. Deep down, he knows he is a fraud but pushes through in hard-hearted denial. The rest of the message is more of a CYA exercise than bestowing knowledge upon God's people.

Dave attacks his own thinking with passion as if it came from some blasphemous outside source. He almost seems angry someone ever believed it. Oh yeah…he did.

@ 30:04 So then lemme just state again, The three and a half days here were never some kind of worse, really bad end at the ten of the ten days of the Great Tribulation. It had nothing to do with that. It’s so bad that they’ve gotta be there for the three and a half days that matches Daniel 12:7.

He repeats himself from eight minutes earlier to make it true.

In the end, all this tossing to and fro will amount to nothing for David C. Pack and the members of RCG. No matter how loud he shouts, no matter how fiercely he gestures, no matter how many Bible verses he staples together, he will never come to the correct conclusion about the return of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God.

"Nourish" really means "cherish," and the sky cracked open.

The brethren are in dire need of spiritual food that is not poisonous. The hirelings allow the sheep to remain famished. But the wolves are just fine, feasting upon them.

The people of The Restored Church of God are malnourished. The pen door is left open, yet they sit still, hoping the Good Shepherd will come along to take care of it for them.

How many will starve to death patiently waiting with false hope for David C. Pack to get timing figured out?

The sad answer is: All of them because David C. Pack will never be right.

Restored Church of God: Dave Pack Continues To Stall

David C. Pack Is Stalling

After seven weeks of build-up, Jesus Christ did not return on December 24 at 9:40 AM EDT.

The night before, Member Services posted the announcement of “The Greatest Unending Story! (Part 411)” to be given by David C. Pack on Christmas Eve. That actually happened.

You will shake your head if you listen to the whole 81 minutes. Wow. How stupid does he assume the people of The Restored Church of God are?

Pretty stupid.

Imagine you discover your spouse committed adultery a week ago. The spouse tells you how riveting the story will be. You will come to appreciate how right on track your marriage is if you are willing to be a little more patient. So, you agree to sit for 81 minutes and hear them out.

The spouse tells you how awful parking was that night. The service at the restaurant was terrible. The meal was overcooked and overpriced. The conversation was okay, but not what the spouse hoped for. The “clicking” was not happening as it did on the phone, but more wine helped with that. The spouse did not really want to be there, but those were the circumstances that were dealt. So, they made the best of it.

The hotel lost the reservation, and the only room available had a full-sized bed in a smoking room. Not ideal, but the facts being as they were, they went with it. The pillows were short and squishy. The mattress slumped in the middle big-time. The toilet made a gurgling sound all night and the shower water in the morning never got quite hot enough.

Work was a bear the next day. The spouse was not well-rested and had to blow off a client to leave the office early. It was a remarkable coincidence that you got home from the overnight with your parents at exactly the same time your spouse got home from the office. And life went on.

That story takes up 81 minutes of your time. You ask your spouse, “But what about the adultery? Why did you do it? Who is this other person?”

The spouse responds, “Huh?”

That is David C. Pack during Part 411 explaining why Jesus Christ did not return on Tevet 1.

What about Tevet 1 on Christmas not happening again until 2068? – Huh

What about Tevet 1 on Christmas on a Sunday not happening again until 2136? – Huh

What about Jesus Christ only being able to return on Tevet 1 or Tammuz 1? – Huh

What about “in the midst of the years” being crucial? – Huh

What about “touching the day” being a Sabbath? – Huh

What about “rushing to call out a final message?” – Huh

What about God hating Christmas more than any other holiday? – Huh

What about the Two Witnesses preaching during the Christmas season? – Huh

What about God’s servant knowing his message is finished? – Huh

What about the Series being inspired preaching? – Huh

What about the entirety of the last seven weeks? – Huh

What about “if this doesn’t happen, it was a ruse by God?” – Huh

Why didn’t God’s Kingdom come yesterday? – Huh

What is the new date for the return of Jesus Christ? – Huh

Dave touches on NONE of those topics during Part 411. It is a master class in gaslighting.

It would also be of little comfort to remind the audience of what was said one week ago.

Part 410 – December 17, 2022

@ 1:44:21 Now, if Tevet 2 comes without Jesus Christ, I just wanna say something very plainly. I want everybody to hear me. I’ll have no idea the year God’s Kingdom comes. I won’t…I’ve stress-tested the living daylights outta this picture. I have no idea. There wouldn’t be a 411 explaining something.

@ 1:48:28 If the Mystery of God is not over…I wouldn’t know how to explain it.

The words of David C. Pack do not age well.

Does he offer any remorse, shame, or responsibility for salvation not coming the day before? Ha. That’s funny. Except that is not funny.

Part 411 – December 24, 2022

@ 00:57 I’ll open as I did a week ago. All is still well. We are still on track. The Mystery of God is not ended.

@ 01:48 And we’re gonna look at a lotta wonderful things today. Really exciting. I can’t wait to get this all out to you. Have a certain amount we have to cover because I think I’ll need a message Tuesday, as well.

@ 36:01 I hope all of this inspires you and you never see this little extra wait as a problem again.

By thirty-six minutes into the message, those paying attention should realize that David C. Pack was stalling. He was not addressing the latest failure but throwing new shiny stuff to keep people distracted.

After closely examining these messages for the past eight months, this is the first one that screamed, “Dave is stalling.” If you listen to the topics he covers, it amounts to smoke and mirrors. Not even street magician-level tricks. Part 411 is watching a YouTube video in your bedroom practicing in front of a mirror skill level. You can see the ball between his fingers. You can see the card move under his sleeve. You can still see string poking out of his breast pocket.

Part 411 is that bad.

Dave assumes the members of RCG are pretty stupid, and he pushes through with that assumption. He ignores the reason anyone endured the harsh cold to hear him. Nope. Not going to address it. But here is a bunch of other stuff to fill the timeslot.

Speaking on December 24 was pure Damage Control. No substance. Just a fluffy, hollow spin so Brian Jackson and Larry Cockshutt would not have to endure a silent night after a severe failure.

@ 54:59 On Tuesday, I'ma blow your mind with what I've learned. We're right on track. Trust me. Just believe me. I've found a smoking gun and a gold standard to know exactly when the 10 days begin.

Dave was not ready to explain what went wrong because he had no answers. He knew this but refused to admit it. This is all placation. He knew he could not get through Christmas without saying SOMETHING. And Part 411 is full of some things.

This is the appearance of leadership. This is the impression of confidence. This is the illusion of knowledge. The ruse by Dave’s god continues in the hopes of holding off any further resignations until after Tuesday. He knows those on the fence are willing to hang on for a few days. Then, after a new date is given on Tuesday, they will continue to hang on for a few more days.

This technique has worked since spring. Why stop now?

@ 1:11:05 I don't mean to be a tease. It'll be kind of a little bit of a thing I wanna tell ya. Just to put us on track. We're gonna have an amazing message on Tuesday. Maybe a little shorter than this one…

@ 1:12:03 …let's just review a couple things just to be sure nobody gets discouraged and has any doubt we're right on track. I'm gonna tell you amazing things on Tuesday, and you'll know that then there's no more time for anything else.

I will gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today.

David C. Pack is stalling. His comforting reassurance is an empty food wrapper. You may be starving, but there are not even bits of melted cheese or sauce to lick.

Part 411 is like a meeting that was scheduled solely to keep everyone in the office. By the time it is over, the central purpose is never covered, and the boss skips out the door before you realize it was a hoax.

Dave knows how to eat time. He says many words hoping the audience does not catch on that he did not admit to failing the day before. If he can make it to his car without getting stopped in the hallway, it will be a good evening.

He did not give any answers because he had none. If he had them, he would have said them.

People are leaving RCG, and Dave is not happy. He repeats a ridiculously audacious concept.

The mindset of those leaving The Restored Church of God is the same as those who want to murder the Two Witnesses of Revelation 11.

If you think this is an exaggeration, do not skim these quotes.

@ 04:10 And some among us have gotten tired. They didn’t want to be “a people prepared for the Lord.”

@ 04:53 Now, today, people cannot kill me because they don't wanna hear anymore. But they can bail out. And many do.

The people of Revelation 11 are tired of the bad news the Two Witnesses bring, so they murder them. The people inside RCG get tired of Dave never getting it right, so they leave. How is that the same?

@ 05:28 So, obviously, people can get tired. Now or later. And blow it. Much easier for us, really. And people still wouldn’t bear with it. Easier days. Simpler. But many still got tired and quit.

He said “many” twice. I cannot help but wonder if this was a slip-up. There must be enough leaving to get under his skin because he brings it up a few times.

@ 07:29 Others wanna kill the Two Witnesses and shut off the bad news. Kill the messengers. So, I hope that helps you maybe understand some who left us. They didn’t care. They didn’t wanna be enlightened. It’s easy to see.

Nobody leaves RCG because they “don’t care.” They leave because David C. Pack is a false apostle and false prophet who sets a date for their salvation that never comes. Like on Friday.

@ 08:01 And people [in Revelation 11] say, “I’ve had enough of them.” Then, it’s pretty easy to understand people who would sit among us and bail out because they first tuned out and said, "I don't want this anymore." And they go out to the devil’s world.

Leaving RCG is akin to murdering the Two Witnesses because they are tired. Dave is desperate to discredit any logical reason to resign. Every motivation he can accept is evil. Sadly, some in the audience will buy into that.

@ 35:09 Idn't it sad some people tuned out? They didn't stay long enough to learn this. The greatest things that we learned, we learned at the very end of the Series.

Would you believe me if I said you did not miss anything? You could skip Part 411 entirely, and your Christian walk would be as rich and full as possible. He says nothing of consequence. He gives no wisdom that you can use in any meaningful way. Nothing.

A message from him is as spiritually nutritious as plastic fruit.

David C. Pack is an empty well. A cloud without water. A fountain that only knows how to be bitter.

@ 1:07:15 …and the slow-pokes, the hard-heads are gonna go on, and some of them'll get killed, and they'll wake up in the long haul just like some saints have to go through the whole ten days [Day of the Lord]. Don’t get the Petra off-ramp [Place of Safety]…And they’ll be some just like those who bailed outta this Series who blow off the Two Witnesses. They'll be some like that later on who will bomb, and it won’t make any difference…They die blaspheming God.

The unsound thinking behind these concepts is staggering. The possibility that he is directly at fault for departures cannot be entertained, or it will shatter his fragile snowflake reality the spineless Headquarters enablers polish. Shame on the whole lot of them.

@ 55:58 The 1335 is not what we are waiting for, and it's spectacular news for all of you to understand…It is not for us.

Dave reverts to the Worldwide Church of God understanding taught by Herbert W. Armstrong. The 1335 is way into the future and not a part of God's plan for RCG, but is for their relatives later.

How many percentage points does this restore to HWA’s prophetic understanding? Is the “generous” 5% now a “solid” 5%? Dave did not say. We could hope for 7% because that is the biblical number for completion and would be a big deal.

@ 57:56 You’ll be amazed at how simple it became once it was time for God to show it.

Unless this is just another ruse by Dave's god, that is. Given the pattern of history, it is likely.

@ 1:10:14 So, that is the mystery of the 1335. You know, when you run into all of this new knowledge, I made some mistakes. One of them was I shoulda left the 1335 exactly where it was.

Whoopsie-Daisy. Dave first meddled with the 1335 with his 8-part sermon “The 1,335 Days of the Son of Man,” which started on March 12, 2011. Note that they cannot be found in the Member Services Sermon Library.

What Dave taught for twenty-five minutes is presented as a flaccid excuse for the Friday no-show. But he presents it in a way that avoids directly addressing it.

@ 34:29 I hope you are as inspired as I am when I read these descriptions of what God's people would be like. I don't know how the Book of Revelation, as much as I wanted the Kingdom not this week, I wanted it last week. I wanted it a year ago and three years ago…But, until you get through all of these things…the Mystery of God has not expired…These are big things for people prepared for the Lord to learn.

Words fall from Dave's mouth, and he does not fathom what he is really saying.

The implication is Part 411 was REQUIRED for salvation because Jesus Christ COULD NOT return until the members of RCG learned this information.

Call me a skeptic, but I have trouble believing that. Since I heard the whole thing, my vote of “no confidence” hovers between 90-95%.

It seems impossible to believe anyone inside RCG was remotely satisfied with the content of Part 411. Especially considering the “why-how-what’s next” was deliberately not covered.

If only Dave conducted an anonymous 3x5 card poll of the audience to ask them, “Now that you heard the content of Part 411, do you agree Jesus Christ could not have returned until we understood all of this?” He does not do that in RCG because he knows the results would sour the rest of his weekend.

@ 04:10 And some among us have gotten tired. They didn’t want to be “a people prepared for the Lord.”

@ 35:05 These are big things for people prepared for the Lord to learn.

Preparing a people for the Lord used to mean building holy, righteous character in RCG. But now it means understanding prophecy. If I were the devil, I would love to have it so.

Since this “knowledge” changes every week, brethren will spend decades never getting a stable answer. If you keep their minds away from building character but instead distract them by what "the little book" is or how long "a little season" is, or what the “falling stars” of Revelation are, they will NEVER get fully prepared.

If the people are not prepared, then Jesus Christ cannot return. If I were the devil, then "The Greatest Unending Story!" is precisely what I would want, and David C. Pack would totally be the right guy for the job.

Someone in the comments section will be tickled pink to know Dave mentioned the Fast of Tevet 10 that began when Nebuchadnezzar besieged Jerusalem. Tevet 10 is January 3, 2023. Dave might have let the cat out of the bag. We will know for sure on Tuesday.

But that depends on how much longer he needs to dilly-dally, which could be tied to the number of resignations that flood inboxes today and Monday.

Part 411 is an incredible example of David C. Pack stalling.

He bought himself some time. He did a little Damage Control. He demonized those that had already left as a warning to the on-the-fencers. He spoke many words about prophetic ideas that have zero implications for those seeking salvation.

And all the while, he did not have to address why Friday morning failed after driving it hard for seven weeks. He was banking on a mass outbreak of Stiff-person syndrome, or he thinks the members of The Restored Church of God are pretty stupid.

For those trapped inside The Restored Church of God, you need to quit stalling and get out while you still can.
