Flurry Cult on Bad Weather. Their God Approves Of Killing 24 Children

Today a tornado did extensive damage in Edmond Oklahoma and in other areas obliterated entire neighborhoods and killed 24 elementary school children.

Gerald Flurry and his equally delusional son Stephen, have written a piece concerning "bad weather.   This was written before today's tornado, so I can only imagine the garbage they will write later this week.

Apparently it is OK for  Stephens god to murder 24 innocent children in their school because their parents and the nation are filthy sinners.  Its all prophecy in action so its OK that death, mayhem and destruction abound.  Why worry about 24 little kids when their god is  going to blot out most of humanity, apparently with delightful glee.

Here is what these two morons wrote:
God, however, says it is a sign that we are living in the very last days. Weather disasters, as they increase in frequency and intensity, are actually fulfilling Bible prophecy. They are among the signs that Christ gave pointing to the end of this present evil age.

In His Olivet prophecy in Matthew 24, Jesus Christ gave His disciples a chronological overview of events to occur in the lead-up to His return. In verses 21-22, Christ said there is a time coming when no flesh would be saved alive if He didn’t return and prevent it. This is speaking of World War iii—a 3½-year bloodbath that will culminate in the “battle of that great day of God Almighty.”

But before the battle of mankind against Christ—before the European beast power and the Asiatic kings of the east square off—before Europe lashes out at the modern-day descendants of Israel—before it surrounds Jerusalem with armies—before the European king of the north comes against the Islamic king of the south like a whirlwind—before radical Islam captures East Jerusalem—just before all of this happens, Jesus said weather patterns and other natural phenomena would take a violent turn for the worse!

Stephen continues on with his vile words:

The Beginning of Sorrows

These are the days we are living in right now! Weather disasters, as they increase in frequency and intensity, are actually fulfilling Bible prophecy. We are experiencing the outer edge of a storm that is about to inflict the worst suffering mankind has ever known.

Jesus Himself said it: “All these are the beginning of sorrows” (verse 8). This is where we are right now in Bible prophecy! Sad to say, the ever intensifying disasters we are seeing right now are only the beginning. It is prophesied to get much worse.

But Jesus did not leave us without hope! The Anchor Bible compares the “beginning of sorrows” to the beginning of birth pangs: “It’s almost a technical term for the sufferings which would immediately precede a new age, the age of the Messiah’s reign.”

What a beautiful picture! Right now, this world is being violently shaken by a rapid succession of agonizing birth pangs. But Jesus tells us that these catastrophic events will soon “give birth” to a new age of world peace and prosperity—a utopian paradise that will be totally free of weather extremities and other unnatural phenomena!
Why would anyone want to be associated with their vile god and the creature they call "jesus?" There is no hope in following their "jesus."  After it blots out 2/3rds of the world you are supposed to skip into the millennium where everything is all rainbows and lollipops.  No thanks you.  I want nothing to do with your degenerate god you have created.

As posted on another thread, perhaps the citizens of Edmond had better think twice about letting the Flurry cult maintain their presence in their city. Ever since they have arrived there has been one weather related issue after another. Are they being punished for allowing them in their city?

Invading German Army HQ Being Used For Commercials

Who would ever have imagined that the worlds most important campus that was going to be used by the invading German armies would end up being used for commercials.  Hundreds of millions of dollars spent on fancy buildings and immaculate grounds just to be used for commercials.

Can Anyone Smell The B.S.?

Lending Tree loan company filmed a commercial recently in the old Hall of Administration on the former Pasadena campus.

The best line in the entire commercial is the comment from the puppet: "Can anyone else here smell  B.S.?"

How appropriate that a comment like that is filmed in the headquarters of Armstrongism, the biggest purveyor of theological B.S. ever!

There's that smell again....

UCG Lays Out Its Plans For The Future

Vic Kubik has laid out some of the plans they want to implement to keep UCG relevant to the 21st century and to its members.

Now, my desire and plan is to build on what God built through Denny Luker and go forward with the mission to proclaim the coming Kingdom of God to the world and to care for those whom God has called. I will not be a caretaker president, but will immerse my life completely into this role. I will seek to understand God’s will and to effectively direct the affairs of the Church in this momentous time in the history of mankind.
That will remain to be seen.  Almost every COG leader ends up being a caretaker because of all the issues that happen.  Doctrinal upheavals, church splinters, personality issues, etc.  Kubik is  going to be applying more band-aids than anything else

Peace and Unity.  It is essential that we preserve the peace and unity currently within the Church and follow Christ’s lead in seizing the moment for developing the Church.

Things are not exactly unified in UCG. There are still issues of members thinking doctrine is being watered down.  Large swaths of members do not like the idea that their fellow members and ministers eat out on Saturdays. And, many are still reeling from the COGWA split they broke up families, destroyed friendships and disrupted the life of the church.

Relationships with other groups. I would like to keep an open door to those of like faith in the greater Church that God is working with. We welcome constructive and relevant discussion and interaction.

All except for COGWA.

If he really is sincere about that then sell COGWA the Texas property.  Will he reach out to Grace Communion, the people he stabbed in the back as he planned for months and months to separate from while still on their payroll?  Will he and the church reach out to the WCG members he disfellowshipped while still apart of the WCG who did not agree with the changes?
