Davey Pack: Peace, Peace! When There Was No Peace

Davey wants the ministers to know that once they have completed the year long reeducation camp that they will be part of an amazing group that will be as big and as peaceful as the old WCG.

Davey truly is delusional if he thinks the WCG was a church where "peace" existed.  That was the period of time that the church was the most corrupt!  Who wants to go back to that pig slop?

You may soon find yourself pastoring larger or much larger numbers of brethren after reunification. God’s Church will again enjoy more and larger congregations around the world. This means greater service and greater reward—for you and those you serve. Do not jeopardize this!

God’s people can again experience the peace that existed during the Worldwide Church of God while it was on track. Realize a wonderful place—an awesome future opportunity—awaits you. We all look forward to thousands of people returning to God’s Church. Brethren will again “dwell together in unity” (Psa. 133:1), walking together in the “bond of peace” (Eph. 4:3). The I Corinthians 1:10 picture of complete unity will again be the case for ALL God’s people. These verses will be fulfilled a second time in this age, and your role will be crucial. You will again be helpers of people’s true joy, working together with brothers in the ministry you have not seen for years. Leaders have kept ministers divided as much as they have the brethren.
Davey said three weeks ago that he only had two weeks of messages left.  This will make over 5 weeks worth of new messages.  I cant wait to mock him for 5 more weeks!  Idiot!
Be sure to read the remaining three Friday announcements. Next week will be short, with the final two longer—and some of the most fascinating knowledge you will ever learn. This will be an extraordinary August—like none other in Church history…

Complete unity equals complete dictatorship because once one voices any dissent he's out. Come on! Peace? REALLY?

In the COG's? PEACE?

In all the years in the Worldwide Church of God, there was no real peace. Schisms, scandals, makeup, no makeup, this, that, everything else. The receivership, fallouts, criticisms, STP, and on and on it went, not counting what went on in the families because of the actions of the ministry. What WCG did this man come from????

The peace back then was artificially created by the angry ceremonial shaking of the hog jowls. And the constant "loving" threats of disfellowshipment of all who disagreed.

Unity by the elimination of all who resisted mind control. Like the attempted breeding of pets by sending all the undesirables to be euthanized at the pound.

What's really disturbing is that H2, More 2 History, channel this week had a series on the apocalypse with the end of the world and who should be one of the "experts" on the broadcast?

Davey Pack!

He was on at least 3 times for a sound bite.

No one should violate the 3rd Commandment, but some may react: "Good Lord! This is an invasion!" (more subtle euphemisms may be accepted here as needed).

I'm going back to the science channel for the end of the world series -- Dr. Brian Cox is much better qualified and has credibility.

Emphasis on the may. This is a promise guaranteed to be broken.

"This means greater service and greater reward—for you..."
Obviously worded to try to temp ministers. Dave knows what they all want! As always, the "service" (read: "power") is dependent on whether you can be successfully reeducated to grovel appropriately before the apostate, while the reward is dependent upon a great many uncertainties, such as whether or god actually exists or not, if so, whether the COGs ever worshiped him to begin with, and whether you as an individual wandering in the silence, ever managed to guess what he wanted and then give it to him. Dave Pack certainly is never going to dole out any "rewards." And since this is all based upon a false prophecy that is soon to be revealed as such, and the people will never be coming, it's another promise guaranteed to be broken.

"God’s people can again experience the peace that existed during the Worldwide Church of God."
Which "people" are those again? I am firmly convinced that if there is such a thing, none of them ever had anything to do with Herbert or the WCG, and they would certainly know better than to come anywhere any of its decaying splinters. And there was never any peace in the WCG during it's heyday. It was a boiling pot of political intrigue, backstabbing, one-up-manship, and infighting like dirty dogs over the scraps that fell off of Herbert's table. And that was just the ministry as they set a "godly" example for the rest of us!

"Brethren will again 'dwell together in unity' (Psa. 133:1), walking together in the 'bond of peace.'"
This is saying nothing at all. Again? I must have missed it the first time.

Sheer foolishness from god's one and only false prophet! Five more weeks of entertainment? I can hardly wait.

Popcorn, yes. This is one of those legendary Friday nights!

Imagine if we'd been right there with William Miller on the night of the disappointment, hopefully some of the fortunate few that hadn't quit our jobs or given away all of our stuff!

Mr Pack is a prophet in the spirit of Haggai and others. He is a saint and he just needs a lot of money to do a huge work unlike any other the world ever seen.
He will raise the dead after August some of us talked this over and you will see him do this.
I am proud to be in his church.

Dave Pack certainly was not known for leaving a trail of peace in his meanderings through the churches of God this or that.

Best comment in the most simple form and absolutely true. Peace to Dave is never questioning him. This is one of his requirements to be brought back into his holy court.

Any real man that sends in Dave's purge forms of abject repentence and compliance is a fool and not a man in the real world. Now at least we know what Dale Schurter had to barf up and confess to Dave before being readmitted this charade of a religious organization.

While my rather passive aggressive self has made more light of Dave's screeds, I will pass on this one. Just how much of one's brain Dave would require a man and "wives" to cut out of their skulls is insane.

This screed also shows just what spineless robots his board of 16 must be. Here Dave crows how much they all agree with him on the one hand and the unity they share and here he tells us why this is so.

(19) Do you believe ministers should be able to voice opinions to others about:
•Where Headquarters is “wrong”?
•What Mr. Armstrong taught/said/did “wrong”?
•What Mr. Pack teaches/says/does “wrong”?
•Where your boss is “wrong” or harsh, etc.?
•Where you disagree doctrinally?

Now we know why these 16 are such suck ups. I'd like to know who these guys are and drop them a note encouraging them to man up because sooner or later Dave is going to get them agreeing to the disagreeable and selling their manhood and souls. Probably too late already.

Dave has a habit of saing one thing one week and then giving the answer as to why it all is the next. I love how he just knows it is this August because why would God reveal it now if it was not now. Previously this principle did not apply when he knew 4 years ago he was Joshua but kept it under wraps. I say if he knew 4 years ago, God would have not revealed it had He not wanted Dave to spit it out 4 years ago.

Situational and speculative theology is Dave's thing for sure. All of it wrong.

The Bible clearly shows that even with perfect structure in government (God and The Word)rebellion was still possible. Their peaceful existence was interrupted by war in heaven. No COG group and leader is ever going to have real peace in this life. Pack you are a fraud and most of us know it and will never go with you.

Douglas Becker said...

Oh, they'll be something dead alright at the end of August, but it won't be raised and brought back to life.

Unless Mr. Pack is the false prophet of Revelation come with lying signs and wonders.

As it is now, not so much wonders as lying.

Pride comes before destruction;

an haughty spirit comes before the fall (September 22nd, all things being equal).

Wonder if Davey will be on the H2 channel again any time soon.

Pro 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

Pack is into LARGE things...God is into SMALL things...Remnant people...

Pack wants no competition...He wants to rule...He, himself despises the government of God.

What Davey doesn't seem to realize is that if the major ACOGs do crumble, the people won't rush into one single megacorp ever again. Given the choice between RCG and being scattered, 99.9 percent will choose to be scattered.

In fact, one of the big problems the ACOGs today have is that many if not most of their members already identify with the "wider COG" and only attend their particular COG out of convenience, remaining aloof from and a bit embarrassed by their leaders' "our group is the ONE" rhetoric.

Anonymous said...

One speculation I have heard is that Pack has a small handful of "insiders" in the bigger groups, particularly LCG and UCG, who have arranged with him to defect at the end of August, thus provoking what he hopes will be a groundswell to RCG. I know Pack has relatives in UCG and LCG. Does he have any discernable "insider" connections in PCG?

Anonymous said...

Could it be that Pack has some juicy insider dirt on the leaders of the other groups?

Imagine the fun if August brings us news about sexual infidelities, drug and alcohol abuse, lying, and financial improprieties by the various ACOG leaders and their family members.

And then imagine the fun when, post-reveal, people simply scatter away from those groups at a faster pace, instead of coming to RCG.

Hey. Pack Friday has done something for someone. Some where, Bob Thiel, Jimmy Malm, and EW (yuck) King are breathing a sigh of relief, thankful that they can have a better weekend.

RSK said...

So he'll add fifteen more frightened members... and that, I'm guessing, will be "raising the dead".
These guys never fail to come up with interesting work-arounds when their predictions don't materialize.

Hitler let the British Expeditionary force escape at Dunkirk because he wanted peace, but the USA wanted war so they sunk his ships, forcing him to declare war, so that his Admirals could legally defend German ships.

Who starts the wars today? USA!

Probably after August there will be an exodus away from the Packatollah but where will they go? Right straight to one of the other false prophets.

Who are the wolves in sheep's clothing? They all are - no exceptions. They always have been - from the first shaman priest reading tossed chicken bones to the modern day pretenders of understanding dark sentences of unseen supernatural forces.

Religion has always been a con game and people have always been duped by it. The old Egyptian religion in the days of the Pharaohs lasted for 5,000 years or more - for as far back in history as you can go all the way up to the time of Cleopatra. Compared to that, Christianity is a young religious con game.

It's prophetic. They have a barbacued chicken counter and sell wings too. Dave's church will be born up on Eagle's Wings! :)
