PCG Wayne Turgeon Dares To Talk About Godly Families and Trust

Wayne Turgeon, part of the privileged Flurry clan, and one of Philadelphia Church of God's most abusive ministers has spent his years pretending to be a godly minister by destroying marriages and breaking up families. A trail of destruction has been left in his wake over the years. Its been well documented here, on The Painful Truth and the Exit and Support Network.

On August 4 he wrote an article for PCG's web site: Invest in Our God Family Trust: Build the quality that forms the basis of all good relationships! Seriously? This hypocrite dares to talk about family, good relationships, and trust?

Turgeon has this to say:

The members of God’s Church—virtually one of a city and two of a family today—are called to marry Jesus Christ (Jeremiah 3:14; Revelation 19:7). Our submission to our Husband is reflected in our trust in His every single word. Believing God is putting His way of life into action in our lives. We show God that He can trust us by being doers of God’s Word.

Quoting Herbert from 1966, he adds:

“[W]hen Jesus Christ gives a command or instructions to you through His Word or through this very Work of God—as you prove it in the Bible—do you realize that God’s laws and instructions always work out right? That you can and should have total faith in living by them? That God stands behind them and backs them up? That whenever you have realized or proved that any command or instruction comes from God you should learn to automatically say: ‘Yes, sir!’ and do what your Creator instructs?” (Plain Truth, February 1966).

In other words, this is subliminal advertising for the sheeple that if a minister or Dear Leader says anything then it is a direct instruction from God and that members should NEVER question that instruction, but say, "Yes Sir!" and it will all be ok! Has anything ever been OK in PCG or any other COG for that matter over the last 80 some years? The ground is littered with damaged lives and deaths at the hands of COG leaders. But, by all means. TRUST Them with everything and God will bless you.  Total bullshit.

We need to focus our minds on important things, including truth and honesty (Philippians 4:8). Our righteous thoughts need to become our inspiring, encouraging and uplifting words. Those words need to translate into our beneficial and fruitful actions. We must live and breathe truth and honesty, even as both virtues expire in Satan’s society. Imagine the World Tomorrow when such conduct won’t be the exception, but the rule!

Truth and honesty in a COG? When? Dishonesty and outright rebellion have spawned over 500+ different splinter groups over the decades with one lie after another being told.

What truly matters is how much we are becoming like God. When we are Christ’s Bride for eternity, we will think and act as He does. That means we must make ourselves ready today!

If all of these corrupt ministers and COG leaders ever followed that inconvenient dude they avoid at all costs, then we might be able to trust them. If they were actually followers of The Way and of that guy they refuse to talk much about, then they would know that the endless "striving" and trying to do things to impress that grumpy god who is just itching to throw them into the Lake of Fire is an impossible task. That work has already been done for them, but they are too blinded to see that.

The Turdgeon article went on to quote HWA from 1966...

“...not to place our confidence in men. Because men are likely to disappoint you.”

Here is certainly a truth from HWA, for certainly HWA and GTA both disappointed me!

The PCG is full of evil people doing nothing but evil continually. It is a complete waste of time, energy, and money.

THE FALSE PROPHETS

The Satan-sent, Satan-directed false prophets:

Gerald R. Flurry: From drunken runt to plagiarist, gospel perverter, identity thief, false That Prophet, family wrecker, and arrogant runt.

David C. Pack: Bait & Switch scammer, “common” thief, false apostle, false Joshua, false Elijah, false That Prophet, false messiah, unstable vomiting mess.

The self-appointed false prophets:

Ronald E. Weinland: False witness, prophetic fantasy fiction writer, ex-con.

Robert J. Thiel: False prophet, fascinated by demons, pagans, pagan prophecies, and Fake News on television.

Turgeon says: " When we are Christ’s Bride for eternity, we will think and act as He does."

I'll pass. Too creepy. Can't imagine being, for all eternity, a brother to, a Bride and son of the number two god being also married to my Father-In-Law God co-equally as they both are one and the same now.

Add too, my new husband and husband father-in-law never having had a woman in their lives, mother , wife or lover seems risky to me/us as brides. I would hope it to be a sexless marriage. But the rules they made for wives and marriages in the OT and NT don't bode well for us all.

Best we can hope for maybe is to talk them into being like the Apostle Paul who had not one desire for a wife and thought it best to remain single? Paul offers this advice and rules of conduct as a "concession" and not a command. Maybe there is hope since Paul said he had the mind of Christ and all that. Wouldn't hurt to have him ask if we could take the high road of being single. Just a thought.

1 Corinthians 7:3-9

"The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband.
For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.

Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by agreement for a limited time, that you may devote yourselves to prayer; but then come together again, so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

Now as a concession, not a command, I say this. I wish that all were as I myself am. But each has his own gift from God, one of one kind and one of another. ..."

In addition, all the former females in our lives would now be "sons" of the Father too and sisters of Christ married to both of them as former sisters to us in the faith

Sounds more like belonging to a Gender confused Middle Eastern theocratic polyamorist LGBQ Pedophile Harem. After the Second Resurrection, where none should perish ultimately and all come to the knowledge of the truth, with our luck, Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell will be put in charge as they would have the most experience with keeping that all straight. Well, not straight straight. You know what I mean. They'd be given and adorned with the proper armbands and Feast stickers to designate them as being in charge like Moses would be of the Feast itself having his skills of organizing large groups of wanderers going nowhere and all dying out before they got there.

Try explaining all this to your kids!

Adding to that it seems we all can only then and for all eternity think and act as my two, one and the same husband and Father-in Law husband think, act and see fit. So much for being uniquely ourselves.

I know, I know..."my ways are not your ways saith the Eternal" Nor mine Wayne's. :)

Robert J. Thiel: False prophet, fascinated by demons, pagans, pagan prophecies, and Fake News on television.

And the Catholic Church. He seems to think (apparently with RCM's nod) that he fulfills a Catholic prophecy about someone who is a problem to them.

Actually, thanks to Dennis for this response. Why men feel comfortable calling themselves brides is beyond me, particularly when they even extend the analogy.

Maybe the FOGs don't get analogy either.

Actually Dennis.

No one ever really managed to explain the "me" being a bride since I was a kid. Always thought it a very wierd analogy "UNTIL" I found out about the canaanite female consort godesses.

We had a minister throw paint on bridal dress on stage once, but that was to make a point on "pre marital relations".

For someone like WT to stay in PCG all these years, shows he knew very little about The Bible, from the start, but a lot about bullying people around.

He wanted power and prestige! This is common with many of the men in PCG. Most have very little humility. I know whereof I speak, because I was one of them. Now, after nearly 20 years of being gone from PCG, I can see clearly what a fool I was to be part of their charade.

With every passing year PCG has only gotten worse. Their focus is totally wrong and they are too blind to see it. PCG is filled with idolatry, politics, and false prophesies. It really can't be considered a COG, but can be called a Synagogue of Satan!

Dennis: Don't get carried away. I am uncomfortable with some Biblical metaphors. The Bride comparison has always bothered me. I must just remind myself that it does not refer to me personally but to the corporate ekklesia. For me, That pushes it into the abstract literary realm where Paul intended it to be.

I thought metaphor might be a particularly Jewish device for communication. Rabbi Toba Spitzer wrote:

"And remember - a metaphor is not a definition; whatever that “force vaster than ourselves might be, we can't define It. But we can try to articulate our experience of It, and that's where we need metaphors.""

The bride metaphor might not be seem so ill-fitting when you consider the following metaphor:

"And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness."

Dennis, how would you like to be compared, instead, to an "uncomely part" of the body. We might ponder what Paul is referring to.

Great response Non_Ecliptic_Orbit - I appreciate the the insight on metaphors not being definitions!

I am not affiliated with any US political party because I think they are all evil (almost as evil as the COGs). However, must of my beliefs align with the ideals of one of the two major parties. I know the platforms of both parties so well I could argue any issue from their viewpoint. I believe to be able to refute

sorry - I think I botched that attempt to post twice - glitchy computer.

I cannot tell you what I think of my old "friend" Wayne on a family friendly site.

As Robert Price will tell you, the story of Moses was plagiarized from much earlier pagan myths. People with their head up their buns or in the Bible will never find that out though, because of their narrow range of reading materials. Epstein was connected to Mossad, by the way.

NEO Noted: "Dennis, how would you like to be compared, instead, to an "uncomely part" of the body. We might ponder what Paul is referring to."

Too late NEO. I have been liked to the uncomely parts of the body plenty of times! lol.

I won't go into too much detail here but I believe Paul had issues and was somewhat tormented over his sexuality. Romans 7, the agonizing he does over things he should not do and not doing what he should and then blaming it on this mysterious entity "sin" that was not him but lived in him , is very telling. The man is in absolute torment.

Whatever his thorn in the flesh was, it might be related to his mental tendencies and not poor eyesight as often speculated about. His disdain for women and practice of celibacy is also telling. Marriage and relationships were second in his view and teachings. Celibacy and no relationships was the better way to be. No Jesus taught that but then again, Paul never heard much of, met or quoted the earthly Jesus. The Gospel Jesus story which brought his Cosmic Christ down into a human story in time and space was written long after he lived, taught and died. Paul knew no Gospel Jesus or his teachings.

Paul even went to far as to literally, and it was literal, beat himself into submission "lest after preaching to others I become a castaway." Sell flagellation is an extreme way of diverting one's mind from "sin".

Hey Non_Ecliptic_Orbit - that was a great response!
I like the part about a metaphor not being a definition - thanks!
