In other words, don't love God on Feb. 14. Don't love His Law that day.

Wow! If you follow that logic, UCG is saying that when a Sabbath falls on December 25, you had better keep on working and doing your own thing, otherwise your worship is really the worship of Sol Invictus!
It's a problem for them, I understand. A sensible Christian would say that you should love on February 13 and February 15, and that if you "show love" any more on February 14 than on the other days you are indeed following a pagan custom. But that would lead to the logic that you should love God on Friday and Sunday, and that if you try to "show love" for God any more on Saturday you're worshipping the Sabbath instead of the Lord of the Sabbath.
UCG cares more about their beliefs and covering up for bad guys than they do about love.

Looking at the link I find this:

That all sounds wonderful if UCG actually practiced love. They do not. They try to pass themselves off as the enlightened COG who is doing things better. They aren't. We left UCG last year because of all the nastiness we had to deal with.

What are you people even talking about? There is NO better or worse! Attempting to find any "true" church amongst the ACOGs is like comparison shopping for diarrhea! Every one of them is utterly crap, although there are sincere, well intentioned members in each, patiently waitimg for God to straighten out the mess.
