Herbert Armstrong's Tangled Web of Corrupt Leaders
Take a good look, Bob Thiel. Eyes on the bottom line of the upper third. Proper head room. No elements directly behind or above their heads. Camera at eye level. No constant shrugging and waving of shoulders and arms.
What's interesting is the point of Dave being a reasonable church leader until 2014 when the "mask of sanity" dropped off, and a different person stepped forward. This has been a common phenomenon in politics in recent years.
Well Jessica and Marc are certainly good examples of practicing true Christianity. By helping others, not becoming bitter, not tearing others down but forgiving, they have received the peace that passes understanding.
Dear Marc, what a wonderful job you are doing by exposing this false prophet. Because David Pack has revealed himself to be a false prophet. Please know that your efforts and the work that you are doing is well appreciated. The interview was well done, you gave the appropriate answer at the appropriate time. Thank you to you.
Dear Jessica, you did what you had to do, you have proven to yourself that a false prophet was standing in front of you, no wonder that right after it says that we have to not fear him. You did excellent in the interview, you are a very well spoken women, it took great courage to step up. Bravo.
What a great interview. My hats off to Jessica Brown. One significant observation I would like to make:
Dave Pack billed The Restored Church of God as restoring the beliefs and practices of the old Worldwide Church of God (WCG) under Herbert Armstrong. However, in actuality, that is not case. Pack's Communist Common doctrine was not a belief of the old WCG. Prophetic sermons running for 400 plus parts spanning multiple years was not the case in the old WCG.
Now Jessica reveals in this interview of another changed WCG practice. Third tithe, of course, was practiced and preached in the WCG. Recipients in the Church could apply for third tithe assistance. However, Dave Pack has now added a new designation for third tithe church funds that was never practiced in WCG - third tithe loans! That was a new one on me too, and I bet it would be new information for others as well. Recipients can now receive either third tithe assistance (doesn't have to be paid back) OR a third tithe loan (which must be paid back). In Jessica's case, she applied for a third tithe loan, and was denied even though she intended to pay it back.
Jessica's Third Tithe LOAN request and Dave Pack's new variation of the third tithe doctrine raised questions in my mind:
- If Jessica, who has a long work history but was going through a temporary financial setback situation didn't qualify for a third tithe loan, then who in the RCG does qualify for third tithe loans? - What criteria distinguishes between granting third tithe assistance versus granting a third tithe loan? - Does Dave Pack charge interest on third tithe loans? If so, what is the rate of interest? - Did Jessica's race play into the RCG denial of the third tithe loan?
I do not know the answers to those questions but I do know that if you don't send in your excess second tithe, or if you don't keep second tithe they way they tell you to, you are on your own and RCG will not help you. I know of a lady who got suspended for not spending her third tithe assistance "properly."
Hag 2:8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts. Do you think God wants your dirty paper money? Corrupt/polluted by the deep state.
Mat 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
Luk 11:42 But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
Tithes were not in coins, only fruit of the land to give to the poor. That 10 percent was left for the poor to pick. They still do this in Azerbaijan, etc.
Mat 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
Mat 10:9 Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,
These churches are companies with headquarters with tails, no head.

And they kept the discussion organized and easy to follow. They didn't go off in every direction covering unrelated topics.
