RCG members have been giving "common" for years. This was to allow the church to "give the gospel to the poor." But did that happen?

Look at the many millions the Restored Church of God has spent to purchase their 100+ acres. Then there is the many more millions they have spent on buildings. How much more would tax valuation data be missing in money spent to build gardens, barns, buildings, houses, paths, roads, ponds, horses, etc..

This presents an issue for Sabbath-keeping organizations around the world.  Like the Seventh Day Adventists, some COG ministers say that people who live in these regions should keep the sabbath at "Jerusalem time", proving once again how they pick and choose how to interpret scriptures. Scriptures meant for specific people for a specific time and region.

A person in a Facebook group of ex-SDA had another version on how to keep sabbath:

We have the same situation in northern Norway. The way it is handled by adventists is to keep sabbath from noon Friday until noon Saturday during wintertime without sunrises, and from midnight Friday night until midnight Saturday night in the summertime without sunsets. Serious sabbathkeepers will leave work before noon on Fridays those weeks during the winter, a real challenge as far as work is concerned.

Flurry, Pack, Weinland, and all the other COG prophets pale in comparison to God's highly favored prophet and Overseer, Bob Thiel. He and he alone is the true messenger of God sent to restore hidden knowledge and unlock the mysteries. Never mind the fact that hundreds of millions of Christians through the centuries have understood grace, faith and the kingdom of God. Untold numbers gave their lives for that understanding, but for some reason, only those in the Church of God have never grasped those meanings.

God’s plan is a mystery to most. Notice something that the Apostle Paul  wrote about that: 

²⁵ Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began ²⁶ but now made manifest, and by the prophetic Scriptures made known to all nations, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, for obedience to the faith —  ²⁷ to God, alone wise, be glory through Jesus Christ forever. Amen. (Romans 16:25-27) 

The Bible tells of the mystery which has been kept secret since the world began. The Bible also points to the mystery of the kingdom of God (Mark 4:11), the mystery of grace (Ephesians 3:1-5), the mystery of faith (1 Timothy 3:5), the mystery of the marriage relationship (Ephesians 5:32), mystery of lawlessness (2 Thessalonians 2:7), the mystery of the resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:51-54), the mystery of God both of the Father and Christ (Colossians 2:2), and even Mystery Babylon the Great (Revelation 17:5). 

Brethren, we are doing a work that helps manifest the prophetic scriptures and reveals various mysteries kept secret since the world began.
