UCG: Dennis Luker Announces He Will Not Accept A Second Presidential Term

Dear Fellow Ministers and All Brethren,

I am writing this personal letter to you to make you aware of an important decision that I have made in my life. My three-year term as president is nearing its end and the question has now become whether or not I should continue as president of the United Church of God, an International Association—if the Council of Elders so accepts.

The decision that I have come to, with advice and counsel from my wife and others is that I should not seek nor accept a second presidential term. Here is why. While it is not well-known outside of my family and some people here in Cincinnati, my health has taken a serious downturn in the last few months because of complications from an enlarged prostate gland. This is common among older men and for years I have privately struggled with this, doing my best   to maintain my health with proper nutrition, exercise and medical advice.

Most important of all, I have been anointed and put my faith and trust in God for healing. My healing and my life are in God’s Hands and I want His Will, not mine.

Serving as the president is a 24/7 job. At this time I do not have the energy or strength to fulfill the responsibilities of president of UCGIA for another three-year term—which would begin on July 1 of this year. I have discussed all this with the Council of Elders and they have accepted my decision to decline from seeking a second term as president. The Council was very gracious in accepting my decision and expressed much support, gratitude and encouragement.

When I was named president by the Council nearly three years ago, our Church was facing severe challenges. I am profoundly grateful that the living Head of the Church, Jesus Christ, has led us through the past crisis and has now blessed us with growing strength, stability and unity. The Council is already preparing to place into motion our systematic and thorough process of selecting another president. You will be hearing about this shortly from Robin Webber, chairman of the Council of Elders.

What are my plans from here? God willing, I do plan to complete my term, which ends on June 30. Afterwards, LeeAnn and I will return to our home in Seattle, Washington, and spend more time with our family. Our son lives in Portland, Oregon. Our daughter is in the Seattle area where we also have five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. So, we will be returning “home” to our family whom we have greatly missed.

If I am unable to complete my term, per the Church’s bylaws the chairman of the Council will serve as interim president until a new president is selected.

I will not be returning to pastor a church (I will be 76 years old), but I will continue to serve as an elder in every way possible. LeeAnn and I have served together in the ministry for 50 years this coming June. We will continue to serve God’s people to the best of our ability as long as God gives us health and strength.

I will close this personal letter with a heart-felt thank you for your incredible faith and dedication to God and His Church. Your love, prayers and support are very encouraging to all of us here at the home office in Cincinnati. LeeAnn and I send our love and gratitude to you all!

Is God Going To Curse Me For Attacking His Spiritual Organism?

Spiritual organism?  Organism????  That has always been one of the stupidest catch phrases that Armstrong came up with.  It always sounds like some dirty infectious germ in a petri dish.

I have been cursed so many times of the last 20 years by God's most perfect "christian" church members that I should have been fried to a crisp decades ago.  For 5 years straight I was guaranteed to be killed on Passover eve by the idiots in the Neville Stevens splinter cult. Not a thing happened!  Not even a skin rash. Nada!  Zippo!

Whether I die tomorrow or 30 years down the line, I am secure in my standing with God.  If it is tomorrow it is not by the hand of some magical god sitting up there constantly pissed at exmembers or  so-called pagan humanity.

Alas, it is not my fault that there are well over 600 splinter cults out there all preaching a different gospel, lead by men who say some of the most idiotic things imaginable.

TWT, if you would please contact them all and let them know that they should stop doing so, I would greatly appreciate it.

If you grew up in The Worldwide Church of God as my brother, sisters and I did - and you grew bitter over splits, doctrinal changes, personal sins of others which they committed against God - not you; the misuse of monies; whatever - you should just let it go and move on.  
Rather, you've dedicated a great deal of your time in hostile satanic attacks and bitter angry resentment against a lot of guys who have been dead for many years.  Just go take a piss on their graves why don't you.  You'll feel better if you make a trip to HWA's grave in LA, and GTA's grave in Big Sandy, and relieve yourself - really.  Then you can take down your hate fueled website, stop name calling and making fun of folks, and maybe check into some nice Sunday church on your local street corner.
I'd go to a nice false pagan Babtist church or any of the other pagan churches out there if I were you. so you can overcome your hatred and put it all behind you and put a smile on your face.  Otherwise your just going to die young of a heart attack or something.  God may curse you for attacking HIS spiritual organism, His people, His TRUE Church.  I believe you're already under a curse having left your first love, the truth of Gods word, and HE has given you over to a reprobate, backward, satanic mind - as His word says will happen to those who fall away from the truth of the Bible.  It would be better of you never knew the truth - so help you God.
Repent.  Before you wake up some day being thrown alive into the lake of fire!   

E. W. King: Animals Are Not Human and Vegetarians Are Killers!!!!!

More wit and "wisdom" from the end time prophet and leader of the restored Worldwide Church of God, E. W. King.

The prophet is ticked off at vegetarians.

He says that the Bible COMMANDS people to eat meat.  However, he fails to notice that in the Adam and Eve myth and for sometime afterwards people did not eat meat.

We find that in the Old Testament that God informed ALL of Israel to eat meat! [Exodus 12:3] Jesus himself ate meat. Jesus is our example. You cannot belong to true Israel and not eat clean meat! Today we understand that the “clean” meats have been corrupted but not because we cannot eat them but because of all the chemicals and breeding hormones which fallen man has injected into them. We need to only eat the clean meats and be careful when we purchase any kind of meat.

As true members of the the true World Wide Church of God we must not put animals before people, humans who are created in the image of God. Pagan religions promote vegetarianism. Sadly, these Babylonian teachings have infected certain fallen “christian” denominations such as the Seventh-Day Adventist Church and New Age Christian movements.

How have people been deceived into treating animals like humans? Today people can “adopt” a pet. “Adoption” is a word used for humans who adopt a human child, not animals. People go to “pet cemeteries”. Pet cemeteries?

When we look at the proper use of animals in the Bible we find that they were used for WORK. Plowing fields, transportation, clothes, oil, food etc. This is not to say that people did not have pets for companionship but this must be kept in proper perspective.

How should we treat animals? We should, if we own animals, take proper care of them. Feed them properly, shelter them properly and treat them like animals not like humans. It is disrespectfull to treat animals like humans...they are not human.

The King wants it made clear that TRUE Christians are NOT vegetarians!

Now, as I proceed in this article many may begin to get upset. Why? Because Satan has begun to infuse his pagan virus of paganism into those who are not awake. Please understand, true Christians do not believe in being “vegetarian”. Meat has certain protiens in it that a vegetable diet cannot offer. Humans need certain amino acids that a pure vegetable diet cannot provide.

 Did you know that vegetarians are killers?

Even vegetarians kill! They kill plant life! Indeed, we all kill to eat. What we need to understand is that we should only kill to eat when it is nescessary. People who kill things for “fun” are sick people. God wants us to be healthy. We should eat the CLEAN DIET that God outlines for us in His word. God would never ask you to eat something that is bad for you! As true Christians in the true church that Jesus Christ built, “The Worldwide Church of God””, we follow His CLEAN DIET that He wrote out for us to follow. We do not follow vegetarians or any other pagan idea. We follow Jesus Christ...and Jesus followed the clean meat diet!

Apparently the King feels that all good dogs do go to heaven. Or, maybe Petra, millennium or someplace.

Now, in ending this article I must show you from God's own word that he does care for His children and their relationship with His animals. I truly believe that if we owned a pet or special animal in this life as true Christians and we ask God to let them experience a new life with us He can make it happen. This is not to say that animals have some sort of “immortal soul”, because they do not..nor does mankind! Jesus said: “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?” [Matthew 7:11]

I do believe that God has a plan for His animals that we cannot yet understand: “Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glories liberty of the children of God.” [Romans 8:21]

I think many people would certainly cherish this idea that pets do go with us to some afterlife.  However, in this case, the King contradicts his own point above where he makes fun of people who treat animals like humans. Isn’t the idea of an afterlife or someplace special for pets doing the same thing?
