Dave Pack: The Splinter COG's Are Practically Death Camps

Overly dramatic Dave.  What would we do without him?  He is correct that they are all dying though.

The splinters are awaiting someone with miraculous power. Now they, commonly, would describe that man as Elijah; but, they are set up for someone to come and do awesome miracles. They’re desperate for miracles. One reason is they have none over there. There are no healings. They’re dying; they’re dropping like flies. Most of the big splinters are practically death camps. Nobody’s healed. Nobody is delivered. You just don’t hear about it. People get over the sniffles, and they declare it a healing, they’re so desperate for miracles.

He's not too far off. Remember, by emphasizing works and deemphasizing grace, Armstrongism's motto might as well be:

ARBEIT MACHT FREI

Nothing has changed since I was in back there in the 50s, 60s, etc. Herb used to mouth off about all the miracles he did in his early ministry, but they weren't occurring when I was there, and his claims were apocryphal at best.

Remember, when the government uses a term for a program, it means the opposite. Same with Dave but it is his cult that will become the next Waco IMHO.

That's rich, coming from a guy who would be running a Colonia Dignidad right now if only he could figure out how to stretch the Armstrongist heresies that far.

I would have included something about running afoul of the government David Koresh style, but that's just about to not be a problem anymore...

...instead of what its de facto motto already is:

Der Glaube ohne Arbeit ist der Tod. Seig heil!

He could at least close his death camp.

Too bad God does not seem to heal. Some members and ex-members really need it. People with unhealed PTSD from their days in the cult still can't face reality and so they cling like desperate men to new falsehoods ... like the Big Bang Theory, which some people just HAVE to believe in or I guess they would still fear the lake of fire. They can't seem to believe in any alternative or just accept not knowing. It's either the cult or the current intellectual fad. It's not just ex church members though. Piles of people are on happy pills or booze or drugs. Give them sound evidence they have been lied to by the MSM or the establishment about this or that--whatever it is--and they are visibly shaken or angry when they cannot refute it. They go into denial or anger. They should be happy they are learning something but they are not. Their shaky world-view needs to be maintained. They need to believe in the establishment. It keeps away PTSD 2.0.

Maybe Davie has his own need to believe...in himself. Who else can he trust?

Physician Dave, heal thyself!

COG leaders are as nutty as US leaders who have gone nuts driving the world to WWIII. Maybe its just how people are. If I still believed in that bible stuff I'd be worried about Armageddon. Instead I'm just worried about little things like WWIII.

Dr. Paul Craig Roberts will tell ya.
