If you believe in YHVH, how can you not believe in Chemosh? He is right there in your Bible, right next to YHVH. If Chemosh does not exist and does not do his (not very good) best to guide and reward his people of Moab, several Old Testament passages make absolutely no sense. Bible chapters such as Numbers 21, Judges 11, and Jeremiah 48 show very plainly that Chemosh is not some imaginary non-entity. He's not a false god; he's just a loser god who doesn't give his people victories the way YHVH gives victories to Israel.
I think that everything said made a bunch of sense. But, think about this, what if you
composed a catchier post title? I mean, I don't wish to tell you how to run your website,
but suppose you added something that grabbed people's attention? I mean "Atheist!"
is a little vanilla. You could glance at Yahoo's home page and note how they write news headlines to
get viewers to click. You might try adding a video or a picture
or two to grab people interested about what you've written. In my opinion, it could bring your blog a little livelier.
Dennis:
You seem motivated to spread your Atheism message.
You need to find a 100 watt radio station, start producing a mimeographed "magazine" , and start a 4 student college.
Who knows , you might even get a jet someday to travel around the world to promote your Atheism!
Sit down before truth (if you can find it in the midst of all the junk science that's out there) like a little child, and admit that atheism is dumb.
What it Huxley who said that? Darwin?
Am I the only one who immediately thought of Bob Thiel while watching these animations?
LOL!

God be great.
the timeline for the advent of atheism in the western world is in tandem with the development of labor saving devices; criminal accountability, law and order; medical technology, the ready availability of food, shelter, clothing; the control of predatory beasts, etc., etc., etc...
175 years ago the general lack of the afore mentioned meant that mankind lived in constant fear for his life, continually reminded of how vulnerable to death, injury or disease we are; hence we looked to a higher power (whether it existed or not) for protection and provision...
today, we espouse what i call a "full belly philosophy", and in our comfort and safety we have forgotten that we are but flesh: we puff our chests up and proclaim we know there is no God...
we what dont even know the number of hairs on our head, or whether or not we will be taking our last breath tonight claim to be knowledgeable of things not perceived with the five senses...

Tonto - Dennis would need to come up with 18 or 20 new truths first plus have a compelling marketing program.
Atheism isn't very appealing - we all go to the lake of fire / lights out forever.
Tough to make a religion of eternal death.
Dennis has not figured out that scientists are often liars, and that peer review is a deeply flawed process. Here is just a wee bit of evidence of that.
"Mike, Can you delete any emails you may have had with Keith regarding the latest IPCC report? Keith will do likewise. ...Can you also email Gene and get him to do the same?" -- Phil Jones, Director of Climate Research Unit, UEA, UK
"There is no reason to give them any data, in my opinion, and I think we do so at our own peril!" -- Michael Mann, Director Earth System Science Center, Pennsylvania State University
"We are nowhere close to knowing where energy is going or whether clouds are changing to make the planet brighter ... We are not close to balancing the energy budget." -- Kevin Trenberth, National Center For Atmospheric Research, USA
"No reviewer has ever asked to see the data." -- Phil Jones, Director of Climate Research Unit, UEA, UK.
"If they [McIntyre and McKitrick] ever hear there is a Freedom of Information Act now in the United Kingdom, I think I'll delete the file rather than send it to anyone." -- Phil Jones, Director of Climate Research Unit, UEA, UK
"If I were on the greenhouse deniers' side, I would .. focus on the wide range of paleoclimatology results and the differences between them as an argument for dismissing them all." -- Tom Wigley, University Corporation for Atmospheric Research
"The trick may be to decide on the main message and use that to guide what's included and what is left out [of the IPCC Reports]." -- Jonathan Overpeck, Director, Institute for the Study of Planet Earth, University of Arizona
"I would freely admit that on global warming we have crossed the boundary from news reporting to advocacy." -- Charles Alexander, Time magazine science editor
"I think if we don't overthrow capitalism, we don't have a chance of saving the world ecologically." -- Judi Bari, Earth First! Member
"Some people will do anything to save the earth . . . except take a science course." -- P. J. O'Rourke, author, journalist
"But it will be very difficult to make the MWP [Medieval Warm Period] go away in Greenland." -- Henry Pollack, University of Michigan.
Don't worry science deniers! They will find a way!
Then there was the famous atheist, who, on his death bed, was found reading a holy book ... looking for a loophole into heaven.
Why CO2 is good for the earth! It makes plants grow!

while i would agree scientists are often liars (frankly all humans generally are), your "proof" is not adequately sourced, hence your post looks more like conjecture...
Not adequately sourced? Hmm. What would it take to make you happy? I got the info from the friends of science web site. They have tons more like it, which looks pretty scientific to me. You could always check out their site for sources or ask them where they got their information.

its not about me, but about bolstering your case...
