I know that Bob Thiel is probably very busy with Holy Day and FOT prep so with Hurricane Ida approaching and soon hitting the Gulf Coast tomorrow, thought I'd go ahead and write his post prophetic observations ahead of time. To save time and prophetic peepings and mutterings I just cut and pasted his past article on the Bronze Age Prophetic Weather God endeavoring to get our attention a few Hurricanes ago.

The devastation from Hurricane Irma (Ida) has been massive and more is expected:

Hurricane Irma (Ida) continued its deadly and destructive path through the Caribbean on Friday morning, and is still on track to slam into Miami this weekend.
The storm, which went from a Category 5 to a 4, remained powerful, with winds of 150 mph, according to an 8 a.m. ET National Hurricane Center bulletin. Irma was about 80 miles northeast of Cabo Lucrecia, Cuba, and 450 miles southeast of Miami.
Irma (Ida) grazed the Turks & Caicos Islands earlier Friday as it swept toward the southeastern Bahamas — promising more devastation after flattening homes and cutting power to a string of Caribbean islands and killing at least 12 people. …
It hit Puerto Rico with a glancing blow late Wednesday, killing at least three people, after battering the islands of Barbuda, St. Bart and St. Martin.
Thousands of people were left homeless in French-controlled St. Martin, where four people were reported dead and thousands more were left homeless after Irma demolished 95 percent of buildings on the island. One death was reported on the Dutch side of the island. Another death was reported on the island of Barbuda.

Notice that Irma (Ida) is “the most powerful Atlantic hurricane on record.” Those who do not think things are changing are deluding themselves.
And it is not just Hurricane Irma that is a threat. The following from the US government show Irma, plus two other hurricanes, Jose and Katia, coming:
Plus there still is flooding and other problems associated with Hurricane Harvey.
There are also many affected by typhoons in Asia. Also, Southern China has been seeing more typhoons than usual this year.
Weather changes help show us that the world can quickly and dramatically change.
While many humans often seem to think otherwise, God is in charge and controls the weather:

Note: Not to mention dry, hot, cold, windy, twirly and humid weather.... But only sometimes. Anything less than a Cat 3 hurricane is just luck of the draw. Cat 3 to 5 is definitely God "trying to tell us something"

Oh no, we have a dangerous problem coming up, and I don’t know how Dennis will be able to handle it.
It appears that Dennis has decided to become the Bob Thiel prophet clone! That portends a major catastrophe for Dennis and the Banned site.
Just think of the ramifications. What if Dennis’ filler in prophecy comes to pass? This would really upset the whole Inquisitors’ apple cart here. Dennis would have to backslide in his atheist religion and faith, AND return to being the resident minister for the wcg splinters, and become the replacement prophet for Bob T. The Inquisitors here would have to start attacking Dennis full on, Bob T. could retire, and this whole site begin to have answered prayers, miraculous healings, and tremendous growth in faith and belief. Just think of it!
Common folks, really… can you afford to let that happen to a site like this?

Calamitous weather conditions have been with us since the beginning of time. What has changed over the last century has been communication and the ready reporting of weather and its consequences. Bringing disaster into our living rooms when in the past we had no inkling of such events. Such is the reality of living on this planet. That all said and done, Bob Thiel is no prophet for Christ Himself said the prophets were until John. So why need Bob?

I can tell from his prophetic news updates he is just waiting for the results of hurricane Ida to come in today before reminding everyone what it all means and he foretold it.

With weather, we are now more informed, and the technology and understanding of meteorology have increased greatly. The increase in hurricane intensity, carbon dioxide levels, sea level changes, etc, can be more accurately analyzed and better presented. A hurricane that diverted from Jekyll Island FOT site in the 1960s "couldn't be explained by scientists" but now, as a case study, can be explained.
But there hasn't been much change between GTA's days and Bob with relating prophetic verses to news events. Ready reporting? I agree with Anon 621.

If I interpret this correctly, the foundational idea here is that if any great and tragic weather event befalls the USA, it is the wrath of God on errant "Israel." So when you see destruction from a horrible storm, you are led automatically to think "This is God - this is what he does."
This theodicy is a convenient companion piece to an agenda of end time prophecy. It permits every untoward event to be interpreted as a sure sign of the imminent Parousia. But this theodicy is not the only credible theodicy. In my view, I believe this is a highly misleading and fringe theodicy that casts God gratuitously in the role of the "heavy."
Pauline theodicy focuses on thrones, principalities and powers as the source of sorrows in this "present evil world." It is these "rudiments of the world" that Jesus overthrew in his sacrifice. They have been dethroned but not yet rendered inoperative in this time of "already but not yet."
The sophomoric argument is that God is ultimately responsible for everything including the evil in the world, hence, the simplistic statement "God controls the weather" sounds conclusive. This is an oversimplification - rhetoric for effect. If you give your son a task to perform and he misses the mark, is this not a complex scenario that requires careful analysis and not just blithe attribution of blame? God delegates. God plans. God purposes. God gives some freedom of action. God grants the dignity of causality to his created beings. Then, over the long run and after all the experience, God fixes it.
I am not asserting that devastation and loss of life is somehow an abstract philosophical exercise and is not concretely and horribly tragic. Christians, too, lose loved ones in hurricanes and this cannot be diminished. We live in a big evil system and humanity contributes to it. Yet we must remember the eschaton. Tragedy is not the face of God but the ending of tragedy is.

Your last sentence explains clearly one of the main reasons for prophecy, to show how Yah will end this tragedy caused by unrepentant human beings.
By the way, Ezekiel gives 64 reasons the Father uses prophecy in His plan.
It's funny how Bob's spin on the weather and the geopolitical liberal narrative on global warming is practically the same. Every earthquake, every hurricane and drought are the worst ever and life as we know it is over! We know why Bob does it but why the politicians? Perhaps because global problems (global warming, global pandemics) demand global solutions, which obviously requires global world government. Wait a minute... Isn't that Bob's spin? Bob, you're being counterfeited!!

Finally, someone figured it out. This is what happens when one follows the Bible admonition “Answer a fool according to his folly.”
However the rest of the admonition is to be “careful, lest you become like him.”
